Grand café 't plein in Buikslotermeer

They're just standing there chatting and we still haven't been able to order anything except drinks. I'm getting quite irritated too.

Very nice – not at all touristy, even though it's only two stops from Amsterdam Central Station. I had Oma's Suddervlees, which is essentially pulled beef. It was nice that there wasn't too much. Personally, I would have preferred it to be hotter, but that was typical for the area.

Nothing special. I ordered a chicken club sandwich. After a short wait, I received a plate of fries with mayonnaise and the sandwich. Three small slices of overly toasted bread with tomato, cucumber, bacon, and a somewhat hard, dry boiled egg, the yolk of which was more green than yellow. The chicken was practically nonexistent, so it had little to no flavor. The fries (French) were also overcooked, and that for €12.50, I think, plus three soft drinks for €21.50 and a €1.50 tip. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture.

I used to come here every Saturday morning with my boyfriend, but we haven't been since the last time. We'd always grab a cappuccino and stay there drinking/sipping it for an hour, enjoying the rare sunshine this city offers. The last time, we were rudely kicked out because they said we had to leave immediately after we finished. I've always seen all the Dutch people there linger for ages, even after they'd finished their drink. Plus, there were plenty of free tables that day, so they didn't need ours. Over the months, they'd made a few racist comments, but I didn't give them much thought because I loved the atmosphere of the square. But after being kicked out because we were the only non-Dutch people there, I'll definitely never go there again!

Changed a lot, staff is not interested in the customer at all. Today waited 15 minutes on the terrace for the staff. Nobody came to ask anything, and it wasn't that busy. That's not the first time. We got up and left. In addition, last time we asked for a brie sandwich with honey. Forgot the honey, I'll bring it right away. No way. Disappointing and it's been like that for a while now. Het personeel luistert af als je een gesprek voert met andere klanten. Je krijgt letterlijk een spreekverbod opgelegd, zelfs op het terras. Er werkt of werkte een serveerster die totaal niet geschikt is of was. Altijd een Amsterdamse grote mond en weet of wist totaal haar plaats niet. Kroketten zijn ook niet lekker, onbekend merk.

Amsterdam hospitality and delicious food for great prices.

Upon arrival, the clerk snapped at me for getting in the way. It was also indicated that the nachos were for several people, but only suitable for 1 person. The gin and tonics were very bad. Actually just some ice cubes in a small glass (so that it looked something), with 1 ml of gin and a separate bottle of tonic. All the tonic did not fit in the glass, which a normal gin and tonic should.

Nice pub conviviality is guaranteed here, nice party of my mother-in-law celebrated, food was supper arranged, everything was in excellent order from me, you get a big 10 mvg show the rooster

When I came from the toilet and was standing outside, a very angry employee came out and told me that I had to clean the toilet because it was stinking dirty! When I went to look there were only 2 tiny spots in the pot, the man in the kitchen also said angrily that the brush is for cleaning it, that's what it was made for and then said if this happens again you are no longer welcome here!!!! Well, I certainly won't be going there again, as hospitality is hard to find there!

I've always had a good meal there for years, but yesterday I arrived at closing time before the kitchen had one Ordered chicken schitzel, owner had made it, but I have never eaten such a bad chicken schitzel, not crispy, super greasy, very unfortunate, I should not have ordered before closing time, I think, staff were just talking to each other.

Nice place with an extensive menu and delicious food. Since the renovation it also looks beautiful inside and very attractive. Now at Christmas it is also beautifully decorated with Christmas trees, etc. Friendly staff and affordable menu.

Always super hospitable and delicious fresh food and drinks. Bouncer never disappoints. Beautiful interior and super cozy. And yet truly Amsterdam and familiar. And also very affordable. Make a party of your meal.

Nice cozy warm appearance. The food is really delicious. The girls at the counter are always friendly except for one. They can really fire the slightly older little lady with brown medium-long hair and glasses. She does very strange antics with amounts of money. Unfortunately, her appearance and customer friendliness are also too bad. If she were gone it would be a 5 star place.

I'm a traveler. I stopped by for a light dinner as it was close to my hotel. I couldn't really communicate with them, but all the staff were friendly and politely asked me what I wanted to eat. The food was carefully prepared and I was satisfied.

During a shopping afternoon we stepped in Grand cade ‘t Plein for a quick lunch. The cafe’s is cozy and breathed an Amsterdam atmosphere. The service was good and the food tasted wonderful.

A fantastic place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal... this is really our favorite spot on the Bellyslotermeerplein. All employees are incredibly sweet and have a lot of patience... I always take the Philly cheesesteak 🤪🤪 but the chicken satay and club sandwich are also highly recommended... oh and the meal salads too 🤭

Ik vind het heel jammer dat ze eerst hele goede zelf gemaakte pannenkoeken met dunne spek hadden. Vanmiddag heb ik meer dan de helft laten staan. Was bleek dikke stukken spek die niet te kauwen waren jammer. Schoenmaker blijf bij je leest. En volgens mij geen vers beslag maar uit zo’n fles

The only positive thing is that the tent looks neat and attractive. The service this morning was far below par. When I see a choice of country bread and white/brown pistolet on the menu, I don't expect to get a simple white bun for which people dare to charge €6.75. At checkout it was stated that an extra €1 will be charged for a pistolet. However, I don't read this anywhere on the website or the map. I was told these are the prices these days. Well, dear employees, this is the most expensive fillet sandwich to date.

On May 25 I gave a party for 55 people. And it was fantastic. The service was great and the snacks were great. Definitely recommended to organize a party there. Everyone was enthusiastic 🎉🎊😘 Ellis

for people with rollators, not helpful with difficult entry. , and where do you put this tool in this case? I looked for a seat myself, when I left, my wife could hardly get out of the door with a rollator, it was much too narrow, which is a shame for this cozy catering establishment. , an advice has been given, is this still being paid attention to or???? Gezellige buurtcafé bij het winkelcentrum Buikslotermeerplein

Dit is een plek , waar je heerlijk kan vertoeven , in je eentje binnen of lekker buiten , vriendelijk personeel en goede service en kwaliteit aan verschillende drankjes en keuze menu , en betaalbaar , een echte aanrader als je het buikslotermeerplein gaat bezoeken

Wij zijn hier vaker geweest en altijd fijn om te zitten. Alleen vandaag was ik er en ga op een stoel zitten die vervolgens met mij omvalt omdat er een gat van een parasol naast de stoel zit er was een bierviltje over het gat gelegd. De serveerster vroeg alleen of ik een pleister voor mijn kapotte knie nodig had. En verder geen sorry en niemand die van het café even kwam vragen of alles goed ging met me. Beetje jammer.

Lekker eten en drinken. Goed geprijsd en goede service. Sfeervol en heel schoon.

Wat een gezellig café! Lekker buiten gezeten in het zonnetje, vriendelijke en snelle bediening. Kreeg bij mijn ijsthee een glas met nog lippenstift eraan van de vorige persoon..maar deze werd gelukkig snel omgewisseld. Heerlijk koekje met slagroom bij de koffie! Zeker een aanrader.

Wat een gezellige plek om te vertoeven. Vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk eten. Ik had een kiphotdog met een broodje.... een zeer groot broodje. Maat van een halve stokbrood ongeveer. Geweldig, maar dat krijg ik niet meer op. Enige minpunt is wel dat het allemaal een stuk duurder is geworden. Maar wel een aanrader. Zag verschillende borden voorbijkomen en dat zag er allemaal goed uit.

Leuke zaak, met vriendelijke bediening, lekkere uitsmijter gegeten.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, hondje mocht mee naar binnen en ook mijn hondje kreeg een koekje. Koffie was erg lekker.

Kom er al vaker maar merk dat de broodjes steeds kleiner worden tegenover de kosten van het broodje. Italiaans broodje is nu meer een kaiserbroodje, dus een beetje een tegenvaller. Broodjes zijn daarentegen lekker en bediening is goed. Dus daar ligt het niet aan.

We hebben er heerlijk gegeten een gezellig cafe ik kom uit de pijp als ik weer naar noord ga ga ik er beslist weer heen.

Altijd gezellig om hier wat te eten en te drinken. Het eten is zeer goed en lekker voor een betaalbare prijs.

Vriendelijk personeel goed gegeten

Voor de tweede keer bij brasserie ‘t Plein. Vorige week duurde het minimaal een kwartier voor de bestelling opgenomen werd. Deze week stond het drankje snel op tafel. Daarna werd het wachten tot de bestelling opgenomen werd. Tenminste 15 minuten. Vriendelijk personeel maar een beetje de gasten in de gaten houden is lastig. Beoordeling is matig/gemiddeld

Prima lunch met “lekkere Amsterdamse” vlotte bediening. Gezellige Grand- /eet-café, grote kaart, redelijke prijzen, goede kwaliteit. Wij waren met groter zakelijk gezelschap, maar personeel kon perfect handelen, alles werd zoals het hoort gelijktijdig uitgeserveerd en altijd even contact met gasten. Zo’n tien minuten lopen van metrostation Noord, helaas voegt het zieltogende sterk verouderde winkelcentrum Buikslotermeerplein niets toe aan de locatie. Een van de weinige goede Grand café / brasserie in Noord.

Heerlijke lunch, altijd wat lekkers bij de koffie, vaak live muziek op vrijdag, een fantastisch heerlijk zonnig terras, leuk personeel.

Gezellige brasserie en aardig personeel. Van borrel tot een goede maaltijd verkrijgbaar. Op sommige dagen live music. Verder heeft de brasserie een heerlijk groot terras, volop in de zon.
