First time ordering from this Greek restaurant via Thuisbezorgd. Therefore, we cannot comment on the atmosphere. The food was great, definitely worth repeating. Delivery was also fast and the delivery driver was friendly. Great! 👍

We had a wonderfully delicious meal. Highly recommended.

Upon arrival around 4:00 PM, we were allowed to choose our own spot on the outdoor terrace. Unfortunately, it was immediately clear that the restaurant was not really ready to welcome guests yet. There was still clutter from the previous day on the floor, the tables had not been swept clean and were still wet from the rain that had fallen during the night. For starters, we had ordered the feta rolls. Unfortunately, these seemed to come straight from a wholesaler and, in our opinion, were neither fresh nor particularly tasty. Especially considering the price, we found this very disappointing. For the main course, I had the bifteki menu. The bifteki was unfortunately extremely salty, as if almost a whole pot of salt had been sprinkled over it. The fries, on the other hand, were fine, and the salad bar also had plenty of choice. During the meal, we politely indicated that we were not satisfied with either the feta rolls or the bifteki. In the end, we didn't even finish the feta rolls. Unfortunately, nothing was done about this when settling the bill, and we still had to pay the full amount. I understand that an entrepreneur needs to earn a living, but in my opinion, it shouldn't be done this way. Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience for us, and we will not be returning here.

It was disappointing. It seemed like the gyros wasn't seasoned. As a result, the meat wasn't tasty. Greek food is normally heavily spiced, but unfortunately, this was bad.

The food is good, but the service is very unfriendly. We were regulars for a long time, but the service has become increasingly unfriendly. They roll their eyes as soon as you walk in. They don't accommodate special requests. You have to pay extra for salad. Beware, it's a price trap! They charge extra for special requests, but you can order a starter for two people or more, even if you order it for one, but you still have to pay the full price for two. You get less food for the same price. Haha, please don't fall for it!

Spontaneously went out for dinner at the Greek restaurant. We arrived at 7:30 PM and it was very difficult to find out if we could still get a table there. We got a table outside. We waited there for 45 minutes until someone came to take our order. My boyfriend went inside to ask if we could order. After ordering, the food arrived quite quickly and was tasty. The staff were sitting inside and weren't paying attention to their guests. A shame, won't be going back anytime soon.

Although the delivery time was fine, the quality of the food left much to be desired: Temperature: Unfortunately, the food did not arrive warm. Starter: In terms of texture and presentation, the mushrooms resembled mushroom soup more than the dish we were expecting. Side dishes: The salads were very meager and underwhelming; they hardly deserve the name 'salad'. We were unlucky enough to have a noisy family sitting next to us. The waitress spoke to the family about this…. The food is very good…. We come here often

Quite disappointed in Crete today. We are used to waiting a bit longer, but today...... We waited almost 2 hours after placing an online order. After 1.5 hours we called and were told it was on its way. After another half hour, the food was delivered. The meat was dry and burnt, and the fries were cold. We weren't used to this. A shame, after all, we paid a lot of money for poor quality.

Absolutely worthless, you’ve passed your hunger by the time you order here and it’s served cold on top of that.

Upon arrival, we ordered both courses within 10 minutes. First, we waited 30 minutes for the starter, and then 55 minutes for the main course. The fries arrived another 10 minutes later, along with the message that the next people were waiting. As if customers can decide that their food will take an hour to retrieve from the sea? Very disappointing; part of the main course was already lukewarm, and the fish was very dry. And then, in between, piles of takeout orders flying out the door 🤦‍♂️

We don't know this restaurant's business philosophy, but it has a strange way of thinking. We've been to many Greek restaurants, but this one was by far the worst. We had booked for three people and arrived at 5:50 PM, and as far as we could see, there were about eight to ten people inside. Personally, we thought that was very few for a Friday night. We were greeted kindly, and everything seemed like a pleasant dinner. We ordered a starter and a main course. The main course wasn't anything special. Meanwhile, more and more people were arriving, and there were a lot of takeout and delivery customers. We normally don't mind waiting, but customers after us were already receiving their main courses while we hadn't received them yet. We decided to eat salad from the salad bar, only to see other tables already receiving their starters or main courses. After being inside for 40 minutes, the bread with herb butter and melon salad finally arrived at 6:30 PM. The table next to us had come in after us and had already finished their main course. Because we'd had salad, at 6:50 PM we decided... we'll just eat the fries and leave the meat from our main course wrapped up, because that's not going to happen. But the main course didn't arrive, so just before 7:00 PM we asked when it would be. The lady said she'd go in the kitchen and ask, but she didn't answer. At 7:05 PM we went back to the bar, but the lady in question didn't see us. At other Greek restaurants, no matter how busy they are, we only sit for a maximum of one hour, with a starter, main course, and dessert. Here, after an hour and 15 minutes, we still hadn't received our main course. So we decided we'd had enough and asked for the bill. As we looked around, several tables were already enjoying their meal. Then she suddenly noticed us, saying it was coming. Yes, now it's no longer necessary if others who arrive later get it first... There were no apologies, just another lady asking if we had a starter. Yes, cold bread with hard herb butter and melon salad, but if that takes 35 minutes and is more work than the main course, then it's really a strange business philosophy, and we left disappointed. On the way, the three of us wondered what had gone wrong. Why did customers who ordered later get their food first? Had they forgotten us? Was there a mistake in the order somewhere? Do they prefer delivery? Do existing customers or large groups have priority? Are they trying to keep you there while you drink a lot? Do you go back to the back of the line if you order a starter and it's busy, and that's why you wait so long? We'll probably never get an answer, but for us this Greek restaurant was by far the worst service ever and we won't bother driving another 2 x 40 minutes.

The delivery was terrible. I ordered through Thuisbezorgd just before 5:00, and called at 6:45 PM. They made me wait 5 minutes, then said it was always busy on the weekend, but it was on its way. I advise you to leave Thuisbezorgd if you can't handle it. DISGOOD LOOKING!

First and last time ordering from here. Ordered food through Thuisbezorgd. After an hour, we called to ask where it was, and they said it would take another fifteen minutes. Half an hour later, our cold Greek dishes arrived. 👎🏼

The food was really delicious, very large portions for a small price and the order was delivered in a very short time.

We didn't eat anything, it was terribly chaotic. The salad bar was empty, we got our drinks right away, and then we waited 20 minutes for the menu. I left in despair.

Personally, I didn't like it as much. Constantly opening and closing the front door in this cold. We sat there, shivering. Ordered coffee. It was lukewarm. Then the food... well... She served the appetizer with fries, and the main course was also served... wow. Everything was on the table together. Half of it was left because it was cold.

This is the second time we've ordered from them through Thuisbezorgd, and yet again, it hasn't been delivered. Each time, they offer a lame excuse, and they apparently don't have the decency to take the initiative and inform their customers. It's ridiculous how casually they handle this.

First, a dish was served that wasn't for us. Then, our appetizers weren't served at the same time. Because of this, we only realized later that one appetizer had been forgotten. The rest of the group was almost finished when the last appetizer was finally served (after asking twice). When the main courses were served, the appetizer hadn't been cleared away yet. So clearing and serving had to be done simultaneously, which felt a bit messy. Unfortunately... a main course was forgotten there too. This time, I quickly checked and yes... forgotten. It could still be made, but that took a while, of course. A shame, because everyone else was already eating. We ended up asking for an extra plate and everyone made an extra dish together by handing over something. The food: The scampi was way overcooked, and the skewers were also very dry. (Frozen?) The gyros was almost black. The meatballs in tomato sauce were the size of a tangerine (2 pieces) and definitely not a starter. Fortunately, dessert went well. Partly because the heroine of the evening came back to check if everything was complete. The food wasn't great. The restaurant was a bit cramped and the service chaotic, so unfortunately, we won't be back. The restrooms are also in need of renovation. We skipped the salad bar. I do want to give one compliment. The blonde waitress did her utmost to correct the mistakes made around her. Unfortunately, this girl can't be everywhere at the same time. She also served us dessert at the restaurant's expense. Very polite. Only 5 stars for the service for that girl.

Last time, what a terrible kitchen!!! I ordered 6 special shrimp, 3 different sizes, and they were overcooked, so much so that the top was missing. They were simply overcooked, had no flavor, and water leaked from the cooking process, so it was special, but in a bad way. I got a stomach ache when I got home. There was a lot of stress and yelling in the kitchen, so the atmosphere was completely gone. It's a real shame, I don't know what's wrong with this place because I've always had good food there. Good luck finding a new, good Greek chef.

I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 5. Not because of the food, and not because of the nice waitresses—they deserve 5 stars in my opinion. Unfortunately, something went wrong at checkout. The delivery driver approached the girl behind the counter and said he needed salad. She calmly tried to explain that the receipt said it didn't come with salad. In a packed restaurant, the delivery driver responded in an extremely aggressive and disrespectful manner, telling her twice to "shut up" and just give her salad. I found this behavior truly inappropriate and completely unacceptable.

Everything went straight in the trash. The salmon was definitely old. Souvlaki was bone dry, the gyros was rock hard, the prawn was so overcooked it came out of the skin in granules. Everything about this place is a middle finger to Greek cuisine as it should be. Last time.

A lovely Greek restaurant in the Netherlands. The food was very delicious, the meat was amazing, and they also have an open-buffet salad bar. The staff were friendly as well. The only point is that guests are not informed about the salad bar — we heard it from another table. Other than that, it was a great experience and we really enjoyed it!

We had dinner at Kreta yesterday. It started out nice and cozy. Until we got our main course. The gyros was still raw. When we pointed out that it wasn't cooked properly and was raw, the rude waitress said this was perfectly normal. Such a shame, the rest was delicious. So we didn't eat it either. I wouldn't want us or the kids to get food poisoning. Very poorly resolved.

We thought we could celebrate my birthday at this restaurant, but what a disappointment! We had a reservation for 7:00 PM. At the salad bar, there was a plate with a piece missing and another dirty one. When we asked, we were told that plates would be brought. After asking twice, warm plates arrived. Meanwhile, we had ordered. After an hour, our appetizer arrived. Meanwhile, we saw 15 "takeout" and "loads" of online orders go by. Our food arrived at 8:15 PM. My husband finished his food, and I refused it and didn't pay for it. I want to express my respect to the bar staff, who are responsible for handling all complaints.

We ate here on Friday evening while traveling through without a reservation, which was no problem. The service was friendly and the food was served quickly. The price-quality ratio was excellent.

Ordered from Kreta for the last time. "Only" half an hour late. The meat was black. Even the bones of the lamb chops were black. Fries lukewarm and soft. Three-quarters of the food was thrown away because it was inedible. Hard and tasted burnt. One star is still too much.

The food tastes good. Unfortunately, the wait for it is always far too long. We made a reservation for 6 p.m., and by 8 p.m., we still hadn't received our food. We ordered a few drinks and had to ask each time where they were. In the end, three out of four times, they'd forgotten them. If you mention it, the staff says they know and can't do anything about it. Horrible. I've been there three times in the past six months, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's a shame, but it's true. Incidentally, the staff is very friendly, but the management is lacking.

T-Bone Steak was like chewing rubber!

I've been there twice now. I wonder if they even have a Greek chef. Slouvakis are red with herbs and floating in olive oil. The chicken breast was like a piece of rubber. If I didn't know what it was, I wouldn't have picked out any chicken.

I should really criticize this restaurant. Because if I tell you what I really think, I'll have to make a reservation EVEN sooner. The best "Greek" within a 30-kilometer radius of "046". Hats off.

Excellent salmon, unlimited salad, and good wine. Highly recommended! The homemade tiramisu is highly recommended. Cozy and modern decor inside, but we enjoyed a quiet and relaxing meal outside.

You've gone downhill fast. I've had to call twice to ask how long it would take. The first time was an hour and a half late, and last Saturday it was an hour late. I had to put the fries in the air fryer; they were completely cold. The gyros had burnt bits in them. Greek food isn't cheap, so give people their money's worth. Last time for me.

Shame on Crete. They've already brought the main course four times, followed by the starter. The ouzo was just warm, and the answer you get is this: "This is the coldest bottle." Terrible, one star is still too much. Ordered at 6:15 PM and now at 6:50 PM still nothing. No one answers when I call, and I just read in another review today that someone even ordered at 5:15 today and is still waiting for their food! I find it especially unacceptable that they're no longer reachable! And we can't order anywhere else because we already paid through Thuiszorgd. So we're out of pocket twice. We'll NEVER EVER order from Kreta from Neerbeek again!

Far too few staff due to circumstances, including the boss's! He appears to have little empathy for his staff. This also unfortunately affected the food...

We ordered around 2pm for €80 worth of food, with delivery at 7pm. The food didn’t arrive until 9:15pm – only after calling several times. Each time they said “it’s leaving now”, but it took another 45 minutes. Unbelievable that such service can exist. Also, nothing was offered to make it right. Really unacceptable.

Good food at Kreta. Cosy, good taste food and for once no hard, wooden with ridge chairs like many Greeks. Atmosphere is good, somewhat modern decoration and service did their best.

Two weeks ago I made a reservation by phone, I arrived there, the reservation was not noted, I never had to make a reservation with the gentleman, he did not write anything down, unfortunately I cannot smell this... it is my husband's birthday, this is unfortunately not the first time that it has not been noted, not very nice to regular customers, so I left.

Came back after a while and noticed they renovated the place. Restaurant looks modern en cozy, the music playlist (old school rnb) was the cherry on top! Food was as expected of a Greek restaurant; a lot of meats.

Placed a home delivery order, waited 3 hours for the food. Called twice to find out where the order was. The fries were cold, pitas were rock hard, the bowl of rice was only 1/4 full. Did not receive the promised bottle of Ouzo due to the very late delivery.. I will get it next time🙈 Never order here again!!!! Worthless service..

When you think of a Greek restaurant you quickly think of photos, images of Greek views, pillars, that kind of thing. I missed that a bit. But the food was good, nice salad bar and the service was great. The only real downside was the music, 90's R&B... That's also a matter of taste😅

Tonight we had a last minute meal at Greek restaurant Crete. It was our first time. Normally we go to another Greek, but this one was closed and we had another dinner check, which led us to this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the decoration of the place, the nice service and friendly owner. We also thought the salad bar was a big plus. We had several dishes, including a dish with gurnard, kalamaris and tenderloin. Everything tasted delicious and the portions were sufficient. We were able to take home what we had left in a container. The house wine also tasted delicious! We will definitely come back!

Have ordered before, generally satisfied, now after 1 hour and 15 minutes of waiting the food was delivered, while we ordered immediately when the restaurant opened, unfortunately everything was luke warm and smaller portions. I had tenderloin, which was completely raw, the dog was happy with it. We have had better from them.

Service below average, having to ask for drinks again several times, even having to walk to the bar because the staff is rarely or not in the room (quite a small room with at least 3 employees). 2 drinks were knocked over by the waitress, she said sorry but didn't bring any napkins or new drinks. After 1.5 hours we asked when our main course would arrive, once there, 1 person at the table had to wait at least 5 minutes for her main course while the rest had already had everything. The fish had an incredible amount of bones in it, so I didn't dare eat it any further, nor was anyone asked why it wasn't being eaten when clearing it away. The 2 tables next to us were also not satisfied. It's a shame because it's a nice place inside. They still have a lot to learn in terms of operation!

Went to dinner with the kids on Boxing Day and it was a party. Price Quality top and staff super friendly and pleasant. Even made a special cocktail for our eldest son that was not on the menu.
