Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The reserved table still had to be prepared. After that, we were able to be seated quickly. After taking our orders, everything went wrong. First, a dish was served that wasn't for us. Then, our appetizers weren't served at the same time. Because of this, we only realized later that one appetizer had been forgotten. The rest of the group was almost finished when the last appetizer was finally served (after asking twice). When the main courses were served, the appetizer hadn't been cleared away yet. So clearing and serving had to be done simultaneously, which felt a bit messy. Unfortunately... a main course was forgotten there too. This time, I quickly checked and yes... forgotten. It could still be made, but that took a while, of course. A shame, because everyone else was already eating. We ended up asking for an extra plate and everyone made an extra dish together by handing over something. The food: The scampi was way overcooked, and the skewers were also very dry. (Frozen?) The gyros was almost black. The meatballs in tomato sauce were the size of a tangerine (2 pieces) and definitely not a starter. Fortunately, dessert went well. Partly because the heroine of the evening came back to check if everything was complete. The food wasn't great. The restaurant was a bit cramped and the service chaotic, so unfortunately, we won't be back. The restrooms are also in need of renovation. We skipped the salad bar. I do want to give one compliment. The blonde waitress did her utmost to correct the mistakes made around her. Unfortunately, this girl can't be everywhere at the same time. She also served us dessert at the restaurant's expense. Very polite. Only 5 stars for the service for that girl.

Ordered Greek food for a large group. Everything was ready on time, even allowing us to fill a large bowl with salad. Excellent service, friendly staff, and super delicious food! Highly recommended!

Last time, what a terrible kitchen!!! I ordered 6 special shrimp, 3 different sizes, and they were overcooked, so much so that the top was missing. They were simply overcooked, had no flavor, and water leaked from the cooking process, so it was special, but in a bad way. I got a stomach ache when I got home. There was a lot of stress and yelling in the kitchen, so the atmosphere was completely gone. It's a real shame, I don't know what's wrong with this place because I've always had good food there. Good luck finding a new, good Greek chef.

I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 5. Not because of the food, and not because of the nice waitresses—they deserve 5 stars in my opinion. Unfortunately, something went wrong at checkout. The delivery driver approached the girl behind the counter and said he needed salad. She calmly tried to explain that the receipt said it didn't come with salad. In a packed restaurant, the delivery driver responded in an extremely aggressive and disrespectful manner, telling her twice to "shut up" and just give her salad. I found this behavior truly inappropriate and completely unacceptable.

Everything went straight in the trash. The salmon was definitely old. Souvlaki was bone dry, the gyros was rock hard, the prawn was so overcooked it came out of the skin in granules. Everything about this place is a middle finger to Greek cuisine as it should be. Last time.

A lovely Greek restaurant in the Netherlands. The food was very delicious, the meat was amazing, and they also have an open-buffet salad bar. The staff were friendly as well. The only point is that guests are not informed about the salad bar — we heard it from another table. Other than that, it was a great experience and we really enjoyed it!

We had dinner at Kreta yesterday. It started out nice and cozy. Until we got our main course. The gyros was still raw. When we pointed out that it wasn't cooked properly and was raw, the rude waitress said this was perfectly normal. Such a shame, the rest was delicious. So we didn't eat it either. I wouldn't want us or the kids to get food poisoning. Very poorly resolved.

We thought we could celebrate my birthday at this restaurant, but what a disappointment! We had a reservation for 7:00 PM. At the salad bar, there was a plate with a piece missing and another dirty one. When we asked, we were told that plates would be brought. After asking twice, warm plates arrived. Meanwhile, we had ordered. After an hour, our appetizer arrived. Meanwhile, we saw 15 "takeout" and "loads" of online orders go by. Our food arrived at 8:15 PM. My husband finished his food, and I refused it and didn't pay for it. I want to express my respect to the bar staff, who are responsible for handling all complaints.

We ate here on Friday evening while traveling through without a reservation, which was no problem. The service was friendly and the food was served quickly. The price-quality ratio was excellent.

Ordered from Kreta for the last time. "Only" half an hour late. The meat was black. Even the bones of the lamb chops were black. Fries lukewarm and soft. Three-quarters of the food was thrown away because it was inedible. Hard and tasted burnt. One star is still too much.

The food tastes good. Unfortunately, the wait for it is always far too long. We made a reservation for 6 p.m., and by 8 p.m., we still hadn't received our food. We ordered a few drinks and had to ask each time where they were. In the end, three out of four times, they'd forgotten them. If you mention it, the staff says they know and can't do anything about it. Horrible. I've been there three times in the past six months, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It's a shame, but it's true. Incidentally, the staff is very friendly, but the management is lacking.

T-Bone Steak was like chewing rubber!

I've been there twice now. I wonder if they even have a Greek chef. Slouvakis are red with herbs and floating in olive oil. The chicken breast was like a piece of rubber. If I didn't know what it was, I wouldn't have picked out any chicken.

I should really criticize this restaurant. Because if I tell you what I really think, I'll have to make a reservation EVEN sooner. The best "Greek" within a 30-kilometer radius of "046". Hats off.

You've gone downhill fast. I've had to call twice to ask how long it would take. The first time was an hour and a half late, and last Saturday it was an hour late. I had to put the fries in the air fryer; they were completely cold. The gyros had burnt bits in them. Greek food isn't cheap, so give people their money's worth. Last time for me.

Excellent salmon, unlimited salad, and good wine. Highly recommended! The homemade tiramisu is highly recommended. Cozy and modern decor inside, but we enjoyed a quiet and relaxing meal outside.

Shame on Crete. They've already brought the main course four times, followed by the starter. The ouzo was just warm, and the answer you get is this: "This is the coldest bottle." The blonde waitress just does whatever she wants. Doesn't write anything down. Just walks around on the phone on the terrace. The meat is raw on your plate, but you ask for it to be well done. Terrible, one star is still too much. Ordered at 6:15 PM and now at 6:50 PM still nothing. No one answers when I call, and I just read in another review today that someone even ordered at 5:15 today and is still waiting for their food! I find it especially unacceptable that they're no longer reachable! And we can't order anywhere else because we already paid through Thuiszorgd. So we're out of pocket twice. We'll NEVER EVER order from Kreta from Neerbeek again!

Far too few staff due to circumstances, including the boss's! He appears to have little empathy for his staff. This also unfortunately affected the food...

We ordered around 2pm for €80 worth of food, with delivery at 7pm. The food didn’t arrive until 9:15pm – only after calling several times. Each time they said “it’s leaving now”, but it took another 45 minutes. Unbelievable that such service can exist. Also, nothing was offered to make it right. Really unacceptable.

Good food at Kreta. Cosy, good taste food and for once no hard, wooden with ridge chairs like many Greeks. Atmosphere is good, somewhat modern decoration and service did their best.

Two weeks ago I made a reservation by phone, I arrived there, the reservation was not noted, I never had to make a reservation with the gentleman, he did not write anything down, unfortunately I cannot smell this... it is my husband's birthday, this is unfortunately not the first time that it has not been noted, not very nice to regular customers, so I left.

Placed a home delivery order, waited 3 hours for the food. Called twice to find out where the order was. The fries were cold, pitas were rock hard, the bowl of rice was only 1/4 full. Did not receive the promised bottle of Ouzo due to the very late delivery.. I will get it next time🙈 Never order here again!!!! Worthless service..

When you think of a Greek restaurant you quickly think of photos, images of Greek views, pillars, that kind of thing. I missed that a bit. But the food was good, nice salad bar and the service was great. The only real downside was the music, 90's R&B... That's also a matter of taste😅

Tonight we had a last minute meal at Greek restaurant Crete. It was our first time. Normally we go to another Greek, but this one was closed and we had another dinner check, which led us to this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the decoration of the place, the nice service and friendly owner. We also thought the salad bar was a big plus. We had several dishes, including a dish with gurnard, kalamaris and tenderloin. Everything tasted delicious and the portions were sufficient. We were able to take home what we had left in a container. The house wine also tasted delicious! We will definitely come back!

Have ordered before, generally satisfied, now after 1 hour and 15 minutes of waiting the food was delivered, while we ordered immediately when the restaurant opened, unfortunately everything was luke warm and smaller portions. I had tenderloin, which was completely raw, the dog was happy with it. We have had better from them.

Ordered via home delivery from Crete, the feta saganaki was an unappetizing thick piece of cheese and the kalamaris looked as if it had been in the refrigerator for 2 weeks, but that's how it tasted. Service below average, having to ask for drinks again several times, even having to walk to the bar because the staff is rarely or not in the room (quite a small room with at least 3 employees). 2 drinks were knocked over by the waitress, she said sorry but didn't bring any napkins or new drinks. After 1.5 hours we asked when our main course would arrive, once there, 1 person at the table had to wait at least 5 minutes for her main course while the rest had already had everything. The fish had an incredible amount of bones in it, so I didn't dare eat it any further, nor was anyone asked why it wasn't being eaten when clearing it away. The 2 tables next to us were also not satisfied. It's a shame because it's a nice place inside. They still have a lot to learn in terms of operation!

No complaints about the food, it's a shame that the staff has a long face and if you ask for something it's too much effort for the person. I have never had a bad mouth from the staff, but this young lady should take a customer service course. And when you ask if something can be packed, she throws the container at you. Normally we sit in the restaurant for 2 to 2.5 hours, but now we left after 45 minutes after being annoyed.

food was super delicious. only the lady with tattoos was very unfriendly, the customer is king, not her. I asked about the food and ordered something to drink from her, but after 20 minutes I still received nothing. so we got up and paid for ours, this was the last time.

The food couldn't be faulted at all, it was great, delicious, tasty and super, a ten! The young lady in black walked around irritated in our opinion, could have been a bit friendlier, recently when clearing the table she became even more irritated, we asked for another drink, apparently it was just too much, and she did not return, for us the pleasure of paying and to step up. Went to dinner with the kids on Boxing Day and it was a party. Price Quality top and staff super friendly and pleasant. Even made a special cocktail for our eldest son that was not on the menu.

A star for the wine. It was Greek then. The food has nothing to do with Greek cuisine. The authentic Greek herbs are not known here. Bad restaurant!

Unfortunately I didn't check the reviews first before ordering via home delivery. The food was cold, not lukewarm but cold. The only thing warm was rice in a bowl. The fries were cold, meat was cold. The souvlaki looked burnt. The food went to the dog, who eats cold food. We like our food warm. We will never order anything from here again. Hopefully this review will prevent anyone else from spending a lot of money on cold, inedible food.

No Greek experience at all. Loud R&B music. Food very mediocre. Frozen fish, scampi brown in color, calamari squishy and elastic in bite. Everything was very salty. Giros the Dutch way. Baklava soggy and tasteless. Ice cream had taken on the plastic taste of the container. Personally, I will never go back here.

It is best not to visit this Greek. Expensive, bad food, bad service. No Greek music.

Got takeaway pita gyros here for the first time. Was ready at agreed time. Portions were good, meat quality was very good for us (certainly not too salty, barely noticeable fat). Delicious tzaziki and the spicy feta dip also tasty. Fries were thin and crispy. Also good after 10 minutes in the car. Delicious food with great taste, so don't recognize me in the less good reviews? Anyway: thanks for the delicious meal :-)

We received a very warm welcome. When we entered, the music was quite loud and heavy… when we asked if it could be turned down or if different music could be played, we were taken behind the bar and allowed to put on our own music! Awesome, right!? Sardines and tenderloin with mushroom sauce were delicious, moussaka and gyros a bit on the salty side. Tasty house wine, good portions, everything nice and fresh and very nice hospitality, therefore highly recommended!

Ordered food at 4:45 PM and delivery was scheduled for 45-60 minutes at 6:15 PM, but I called again when it was said that the delivery person was on his way. 6.45 pm still no food, called again, same answer, delivery person is on his way, strange to say, this was also said half an hour ago... 7.10 pm still no food, called again and said that I absolutely do not like this, then the food could be delivered within 20 be delivered in minutes. Tijdens het wachten verteld een echtpaar dat net is gaan zitten;" nee wij reserveren nooit, we hebben ook nu meteen een tafel gekregen". Zeer ergerlijk. De eerder aangewezen tafel voor twee ging ook naar een goede bekende die na ons binnen kwam. Wij kregen met 2 pers. een 8 pers. tafel. Nou dan kun je de gezelligheid zoeken. Ik bestelde een ovenschotel met varkenshaas. Kwam niet uit de oven maar uit de magnetron, warme saus en lauw vlees, waarna in een schaaltje geserveerd. Geen randje van het bakken in een oven. Het gerecht had amper smaak. Mijn tafelgenoot had dezelfde ervaring. De salade bar (voorheen altijd prima) had zowel olijven als pepers die vreselijk zout waren. De Feta altijd geliefd had amper smaak. Dat kwaliteit was beduidend veel minder. Nog even een cappuccino na. Ik zag meteen dat iets fout was. Geen schuim en een flets waterige inhoud, ondanks dat gewoon geserveerd. De serveerster wilde een nieuwe brengen maar het apparaat was al eerder die avond blijkbaar stuk gegaan. Niet iedereen was op de hoogte. Al met al een forse tegenvaller en ik ga dit restaurant zeker niet meer bezoeken zolang ik geen betere recensies zie.

Good quality meat, suitable for takeaway, delivery and dinner

First of all, food is of high quality and was hot. Both had tzatziki with bread as a starter, main course both had meat dish. Our youngest daughter only had a portion of fries and that was no problem. Salad bar where you can put together your own salad, everything looked fresh and tasted delicious. Then the lesser points. Service is far from attentive, we had to approach the waiter ourselves to get another drink. Plates stay on the table for a long time when you're done. The focus is on takeaway, every few minutes the front door opens and people come to pick up their order. It makes it very chaotic and if something goes wrong with the order, you as a guest will notice the tension. In the end, everything took so long that we skipped dessert and got a milkshake at the McDrive across the street. Despite the quality of the food, no follow-up for us.

Too bad, too bad. We had made a reservation online for Saturday at 6 p.m., but when we arrived they could not find the reservation. I need to show the reservation. It was very busy and in that crowd I could not immediately find the reservation. I was told that there was no room and that from now on I would have to call and not make a reservation online. It is no longer necessary, we will never go there again.

Unfortunately, this Greek is no longer what it used to be. Apparently new owner and personnel, which does not improve the quality. Went for dinner with 6 people, 2 of whom only received their main course 20 minutes later. No excuses, nothing at all, just grumpy faces at the service. Because you can also order and deliver online, it is very busy and chaotic, delivery cars drive back and forth with the delivery people continuously walking in and out. The quality of the food is also not what it used to be, most of it is dry, overcooked and almost burnt. The cod was initially so dry that it was unedible and new ones were brought, but unfortunately the new ones were still cold and raw. Asked to speak to the owner who had time for us after a 15 minute wait. Received a friendly response, an apology and some compensation. Unfortunately, no more Crete Neerbeek for us.

The 6 of us arrived first at the restaurant. We had made a reservation at 5:30 PM, but this was not communicated properly. As a result, we were placed outside on the smokers' terrace and the people who were previously in our seat were moved, so we could sit at a dirty table. We placed our order (main course) around 5:45 PM and used the salad bar, which was very popular. After waiting 45 minutes our order came. Firstly, a dish was not complete and would arrive later, in the meantime everyone except two of us did not get their food. The order was not placed correctly and the food is being made, we had to wait 20 minutes for this and in the meantime the others had already finished eating. But that wasn't it yet, one of us had ordered cod but the first time it was very tough and they had it sent back. She got a new cod, but it turned out to be still raw. We have of course raised this. But the staff was very unfriendly and did not offer any apologies. After waiting 15 minutes, we were able to speak to the owner of the boat, who apologized and offered compensation. It's a shame that our evening had to turn out this way. We won't be coming back here again.

Crete was a very good restaurant but is declining rapidly. The last few times we have been surprised by the delivery times and quality and the comments that are missed on orders. With the last order there was no mushroom sauce on the large sashlick. Just a watery pool.

We had dinner there yesterday and the whole thing was a series of serious mistakes that ruined the overall visit. At first some of the food was cold. Secondly, they brought us the main course while we were still working on the starter. It was suggested that we remove the starter plate so that the main course could be served. I thought that was really brutal. Thirdly, cigarette after cigarette was lit, including by the waiter who lit at least 4 or 5 during our meal. In the past this occasion was quite nice, but when I read the latest reviews now I wonder why this occasion has slipped from something nice to just an ordinary place where you can just eat something. And then it is also true that we lost a considerable amount of money for this travesty. Sorry, but this was really below standard...and if you want the company to go into ruin then you should continue like this. In any case, we will never come there again, shameful.

Yesterday, August 23, 2024, we made a reservation for dinner with our neighbors. Unfortunately, nothing was known. Fortunately, we were able to get to the table quickly. The staff was very catty, with the exception of one friendly lady. After ordering a drink and handing over the menu, they were almost immediately at our table to take the order. Since we had not yet been able to make a choice, the lady left without doing anything, rolling her eyes and apparently irritated, only to be standing in front of us again in no time. Finally, the order was taken, but this was also very chaotic. Suddenly a dish appeared on our table that had not been ordered for us. When serving the starter they forgot to provide us with plates. Apparently we had received double the amount of starters compared to what we had actually ordered. Menus were then changed when the main course was served and we had to repeatedly ask for a glass, even though a bottle of water had been brought. These are all small things that you normally don't make a big deal out of. Around 9:25 PM we were asked if we wanted something to drink and we ordered a round of coffee and tea and were asked for the dessert menu. Within no time another lady was in front of us with the message that the kitchen was closed at 9:30 PM. A simple ice cream was no longer possible. The message was delivered with some frustration. The lady in question told us that otherwise they would have problems with the boss, so we asked if she wanted to call him in. Unfortunately he was on holiday. We all felt anything but welcome in this restaurant, where we regularly dined and took away food. In the meantime, there was a lot of clearing around us and the mopping of the restaurant started. Apart from that, we had a lot of problems with flies during our visit. €350 was deducted, but as far as I'm concerned it's the last time they will earn a euro from us. The food was good, but the customer experience was far below par.

We are regular guests here. Last night we were surprised at 9:27 PM because we could no longer order dessert. The kitchen closed at 9:30 PM. We were 8 people and left quite a bit behind. Boss's rule (he was on vacation!!!!). They won't see us here again 😩

We had a nice dinner here in the evening. The tenderloin and lamb chop are highly recommended. Personal favorite is number 74, the meat dish. Crockery was very friendly. It is often pleasantly busy. Definitely recommended!

Susuki was burnt Gyros was fried Pork fillet plus souvlaki dry Salad: lettuce was brown on sides My opinion had warmed up from at least 1 day before..... I eat everything, but 75% of this went in the trash. Season broken meat and reheat it, the "customer" will eat it?! I seriously feel like I could get sick from this Greek "buffet". Should be ashamed there.

Waiting.....more waiting...just ordered another drink......and another......Appetizer was put on the table after about an hour. Melon with "parma ham"?! It really wasn't Parma ham, but Black Forester. At 8.20pm we still had no main course. In between, there were two plates of food on the table, but since that was not our order, we left it alone. After about 15 minutes we were finally able to speak to a waitress about those two plates, which turned out to be for the "neighbors". (They probably ate it cold 🤔). Because the plates were picked up from us and immediately passed to the guests at the table next to us. So after waiting almost 2.5 hours we decided to pay for what we had drunk and the starters. They won't see us here again.

Ordered food from this restaurant again yesterday. However, this time not at all satisfied with the quality of the food. Small dry lamb chops and very very salty. Kalamari very watery and totally tasteless, paneer again was extremely salty. This immediately goes into the trash, it's so dirty. And we rarely throw away food! Tried to find a solution in private, but there is simply no response after a counter message. This is very bad. Also delivered more than 60 minutes late. Never again for us.

It's actually not even worth 1 star, but hey, I can't give anything less. The food was really disgusting and I still express myself politely. Literally everything was dry and burnt. The scampi had a sour taste and was very salty. There were four of us and all four dishes were substandard. After reporting they indicate, yes it is busy. No apologies or you will receive a new dish. Then we asked to reduce the bill because we had barely eaten anything due to the mediocre quality. But no, just pay in full. In addition, all 4 of us were quite ill shortly after our visit. Vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea. Unbelievably bad. This restaurant better stop immediately, in any case it is already on the verge of collapse if they continue like this. We have reported this to the NVWA, so it will not take long for them to visit this substandard restaurant.

Slechte communicatie , en niet in voor begrip en te leren van hun fouten. Je mag kiezen uit het saladebuffet . Maar in deze vitrine staat ook tzatziki in bakjes. Achteraf wordt er verteld dat deze voor de afhaalklanten zijn en niet voor de restaurant gasten . Staat ook nergens aangeven!! Maar de betaal verrasing voor de Tzatziki is wel 7,50E .En als klap op de Tzazitki , zag de bediening deze bakjes bij ons op tafel staan , toen we al het hoofdgrecht waren aan het eten. En werd er snel brood gebracht !! Letterlijk brood (ipv mosterd) na de maaltijd. Dus puinhoop en verkapte oplichterij. De 7,50e verrassing krijg je bij afrekening .

Food and salad bar are fine. Experience and service could be better and friendlier.

Eten was binnen 5 minuten na bestelling al aanwezig. Beide borden hadden koud eten dit zelf naar binnen gebracht. Eten daarna opnieuw geserveerd gekregen wederom koud bord wel erg warm. Waarschijnlijk in magnetron opgewarmd. Vriendelijkheid daarna ver te zoeken. Meerdere keren gaan eten altijd slecht absoluut niet heen gaan.

I find myself generally reluctant to say anything; if a meal is less tasty, I usually eat it, but this was simply not possible. The good news about the lamb shanks is that they tasted better than the calamari, although that didn't require an Olympic performance, but oh well. Unfortunately, the lamb shanks were not of high quality, they were well done and of significantly lower quality than a week earlier. Considering the high price (€27.50) charged for it, we did not find this acceptable. So unfortunately we sit behind the pots and pans and after dinner we discuss how we will deal with this. What can you reasonably expect? Food that is served (read; delivered) must be good and if it is not good, you fix it. Where there is chopping, there are chips, but solve it. We contacted the restaurant via WhatsApp and email and shared our findings. We found the restaurant's response lukewarm. No excuses, but an excuse in the form of a notification that the holiday period has arrived. And a proposal for a 20% discount on the next order. Just shout when you disagree, make comments or comments. Okay, in conversation, that offers perspective. Disagree with the proposal but open to a discussion. Fine. The restaurant responsible for guaranteeing the quality of the food and the holiday period is not a legitimate argument. Acknowledging and declaring that you serve bad food and then asking your customer to place another order so they can give a few euros off is simply not a solution. It's a bit like if I buy a car with a scratch on it and the garage owner says, with the next purchase you will get a paint pen. We have given that back in a nuanced way. It is not as it should be, or in other words, as we think it should be. Concluding with a counter-proposal to refund 50%, which is equal to the menu that we did not consume. We took the mediocre lamb chops for granted. Unfortunately there was no response. The restaurant indicates that it does not want dissatisfied customers, but does not take any responsibility and has a poor complaints policy. Tried again after years, but again it doesn't work.
