I’m a simple man. I like my Shoarma schotel and I haven’t tasted any better than here. Also the service is quick and friendly. Because it’s not in a huge shopping area it’s never too busy and always has space. Also nice terrace with western setting sun.

A lovely meal Staying at the Amsterdam Bos Forest Hotel directly opposite which offers no food at night. This place was a lifesaver. Great choice of food, attentive service and well priced. Highly recommended

We had a delicious meal here, the price is great, and the decor is cozy! It feels like a cafe, not too fancy, and there's a TV with sports on. Otherwise, it has a good atmosphere, and parking is free (with a blue card) right outside!

As soon as you walk in, you immediately smell a good atmosphere. It's a bit dark, but it fits the look and feel. The sandwich was great. That sauce plate was a really good idea. It tasted great.

I have ordered 2 large shawarma sandwiches to take away here several times, because the taste of the food is good. Unfortunately, it always seems like they try to "earn" by leaving out 1 part of the food, or adding it in a smaller size than you EXPLICITLY asked for. One time there was NO LETTUCE added to the shawarma sandwiches, the other time there were 2 SMALL flatbreads extra, while I had explicitly asked for two LARGE flatbreads extra, for which I had said I would pay. Has happened SEVERAL TIMES. Too bad, because the taste of the food is good, but you still get an unpleasant feeling about your order.

Hummus is amazing. You should definitely try it.

I arrived late at the hotel and was so tired and hungry. I saw this restaurant across from the place I was staying and decided to stop by without knowing what they serve. I had a glass of red wine, chicken liver, and lentil soup! I don’t regret any items that I ordered!! Every single item was perfect and very tasty. I’m very pleased with my experience tonight! Ive been coming here since 2005 the food is absolutely fantastic, price and value for money too , the service is always welcoming, I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough, I first stumbled upon it when I moved to Amstelveen in 2005 and have since moved further afield but still eat here regularly, it’s worth the journey 😋😋😋😋😋

My favorite place in Amstelveen! I've been coming here for years and like to eat more than 1 sandwich/dish! (This is really true!) because the rolls and sauces are soooo delicious! My favorites are the Shashlik rolls, chicken liver roll and shashlik dish! My advice: Check the menu and be sure: You will enjoy it!! :) (and thank me later :)))

The fries were not good. Seemed like fried several times. The shawarma was ok. Not much flavor. It really can be better. Too bad after reading the review in the parool. It was actually disappointing.

It's a small shop on the main thoroughfare in Amstelveen with fresh, tasty food - the portions were absolutely fine, there was a lot of lamb on the menu. The restaurant itself was rather small and more of a pub. But enough for a nice evening.

We were unsure at first to give this place a try. However, once we entered, we received excellent and friendly and courteous service. The food was amazingly good and reasonably priced. Wish we could stay longer to go there a few more times.

Very much enjoyed it as always. Every year we gather with a large group of family members to have a nice meal and be together. Also of course random along is always excellent. Service is always excellent. The shawarma mosshad dish is recommended. Slightly spicier with fried onions and peppers. Service is understanding and attentive.

Se si passa per Amstelveen vale certamente la pena fermarsi al Rooz. Il locale si trova lungo la Amsterdamseweg, una delle strade principali di Amstelveen, ha qualche tavolo all’aperto per la bella stagione, sei o sette tavoli all’interno e rispetto ad alcuni locali pretenziosi del centro offre prezzi ragionevoli, una buona cucina ed un titolare simpatico.

A great culinary experience. The service is excellent. The food is excellent. Beer from the seventh step, just like in the Czech Republic, and the prices are reasonable. My wife got tea with fresh mint and it was excellent. The restaurant is opposite the hotel. What more could you ask for. I can only recommend it.

After the intensive loud city day you can really relax, it really tasty food in a great atmosphere. I really like this place. Coasted few times with my wife during our long Amsterdam stay.
