Great atmosphere, good quality food and freshly made pastes and sauces. Freshly baked bread was super nice. Fries are unmatchably crispy and nice!

Great food, grilled lamb was really good and tasted fresh, amazing sauces, especially the hot ones, friendly service. It was delicious and totally worth it. You will be very happy! If you are staying in Amsterdam Forest hotel like I did, this is the best food option nearby and the pizza place is also pretty good but stay away from the South Indian place if you don’t want to be sick. Trust me because I am South Indian 😅

I really wanted to like this restaurant but unfortunately the food was extremely disappointing. The lamb shawarma was dry and chewy. The worst shawarma I've eaten. Their sauces and fries are quite good though. Also a platter is twice the cost of a sandwich but the only difference is a side of fries. This results in the fries being €10.

This has been my favorite for years: The chicken sandwiches are simply unsurpassed, truly the best I have ever eaten. The sauces complete the experience. But the avocado salad, choumous, and tahini salad are also, without exception, fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The owner is always incredibly friendly and makes sure you feel welcome right away. Absolutely recommended. Believe me: you will be back.

The veal ribs were honestly one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. Super well spiced, nicely balanced food. Portions are great value for money. The gents inside are so lovely and genuine and the atmosphere and decor are super classy! Would recommend this 100X! A hidden gem!!♥️

My wife and I had a delicious meal here tonight. The owner welcomed us with great kindness and hospitality. The chicken dish was perfectly marinated and cooked, and unlike many shawarma places, not overly salted. We're never really near Amstelveen, but if we ever do, we'll definitely eat here again! Highly recommended!

I’m a simple man. I like my Shoarma schotel and I haven’t tasted any better than here. Also the service is quick and friendly. Because it’s not in a huge shopping area it’s never too busy and always has space. Also nice terrace with western setting sun.

We had a delicious meal here, the price is great, and the decor is cozy! It feels like a cafe, not too fancy, and there's a TV with sports on. Otherwise, it has a good atmosphere, and parking is free (with a blue card) right outside!

As soon as you walk in, you immediately smell a good atmosphere. It's a bit dark, but it fits the look and feel. The sandwich was great. That sauce plate was a really good idea. It tasted great.

I have ordered 2 large shawarma sandwiches to take away here several times, because the taste of the food is good. Unfortunately, it always seems like they try to "earn" by leaving out 1 part of the food, or adding it in a smaller size than you EXPLICITLY asked for. One time there was NO LETTUCE added to the shawarma sandwiches, the other time there were 2 SMALL flatbreads extra, while I had explicitly asked for two LARGE flatbreads extra, for which I had said I would pay. Has happened SEVERAL TIMES. Too bad, because the taste of the food is good, but you still get an unpleasant feeling about your order.

I arrived late at the hotel and was so tired and hungry. I saw this restaurant across from the place I was staying and decided to stop by without knowing what they serve. I had a glass of red wine, chicken liver, and lentil soup! I don’t regret any items that I ordered!! Every single item was perfect and very tasty. I’m very pleased with my experience tonight! Ive been coming here since 2005 the food is absolutely fantastic, price and value for money too , the service is always welcoming, I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough, I first stumbled upon it when I moved to Amstelveen in 2005 and have since moved further afield but still eat here regularly, it’s worth the journey 😋😋😋😋😋

My favorite place in Amstelveen! I've been coming here for years and like to eat more than 1 sandwich/dish! (This is really true!) because the rolls and sauces are soooo delicious! My favorites are the Shashlik rolls, chicken liver roll and shashlik dish! My advice: Check the menu and be sure: You will enjoy it!! :) (and thank me later :)))

The fries were not good. Seemed like fried several times. The shawarma was ok. Not much flavor. It really can be better. Too bad after reading the review in the parool. It was actually disappointing.

It's a small shop on the main thoroughfare in Amstelveen with fresh, tasty food - the portions were absolutely fine, there was a lot of lamb on the menu. The restaurant itself was rather small and more of a pub. But enough for a nice evening.

We were unsure at first to give this place a try. However, once we entered, we received excellent and friendly and courteous service. The food was amazingly good and reasonably priced. Wish we could stay longer to go there a few more times.
