For garlic or sambal on your kapsalon, you pay an extra 90 cents. That's already €2 more for just the sauce that's normally on it. Then you call and find out you have to pay extra for the sauce. €3.50 in 10 cents.

Old and run down but the food was delicious.

Be aware if you are allergic to pork. This restaurant offers pork shawarma. So if you don't want to eat, it's best to skip this place. People are also not informed in advance about meat.

The quality of Shalom has deteriorated enormously. Haven't ordered here in a long time, but tried it today. Delivery is way too late. Ordered around 6:00 PM and delivered at 7:15 PM. No problem if the food is still warm, but the food has already cooled down and is lukewarm. Very disappointed, as I used to come there regularly in the past (4 years ago now). Never again and recommend the Smulpaleis in Nijkerk to everyone. They deliver on time and the quality is much better!

Downright bad. After waiting 1.5 hours we called to find out where the food was; almost ready, coming soon. After waiting 2 hours it still wasn't there, we called again; en route. When the delivery man finally arrived, he literally parked the car on the sidewalk, his reason: "no free parking spaces". While he had to drive over 2 empty spaces to park the car on the sidewalk. When something was said about this, he showed in his language that he felt offended. No apology received either on the phone or from the delivery person. I also told both that I would like to hear an apology, but both kept repeating that it was so busy. Sorry is apparently too difficult a word. I said on the phone that they have lost a regular loyal customer and that I think that is a shame. The answer is: "is good". And then the food... Cold and not worth the wait and frustration. While I recommended Sholom to everyone a year ago, the quality, delivery time and friendliness have decreased so much. Save yourself frustration and disappointment and order somewhere else. ;)

We had not ordered for a while due to poor quality and an extremely long delivery time. Ordered again today, hoping the weather would be better, but this was everything! Apart from the fact that the shawarma and spareribs were overcooked (read: just not burnt). The pizza was downright bad! It was really burned, the edges were just blackened. When I called they were exceptionally difficult. People said they liked crispy pizza. Well ma'am, there is a difference between crispy and burnt. No new one was offered, I had to specifically ask for that, but that again took over an hour before it was delivered. We ordered at 5:00 PM and my husband was finally able to eat his pizza at 7:13 PM. This one was considerably better. Really, really, really bad!

We don't order here anymore, we have to wait 1.5 hours for our food. When the food arrived we were missing a lot of sauces. I called them, no, we have 1 sauce of everything. I placed another order with the many sauces, the price was exactly what I paid. If you order via their site, mix grill with 3 sauces. And you order the mix grill with 3 sauces again, so you only get 3 sauces for 2 dishes instead of 6 sauces for 2 dishes. While you pay for 6 sauces edemdito with 2x kapsalon with 2x garlic, you only get 1x sauce. Ridiculous.

I order from restaurant Shalom Nijkerk on Saturday May 18, then I unpack the order and the Turkish pizzas are incorrect. I call the restaurant to report that the order is incorrect. 1 Turkish pizza should have been without vegetables and the other without sambal, on the phone I was called a liar and that it would have been my own fault. I have proof on my mobile that I filled it out correctly myself and then they want you to come to the restaurant yourself to solve it. I said on the phone that I didn't pay delivery costs for nothing and then they just hung up the phone. I don't think it's professional that they don't solve the problem and are aggressive towards the customer.

Then when the food was delivered within time, we unpacked the food and the fries were very wet, dirty and not cooked at all. We called Shalom back and they said yes sir, I don't know either. They did not come up with a neat proposal of their own, we had to come up with it. After they collected the food and brought new ones, the food is slightly better, but there is no sambal or kofo garlic on it. I have the idea from certain sources that there have been different owners every time and I am constantly being taken over. Het restaurant oogt een beetje aftands (eigenlijk zoals zoveel typische grillrestaurants). De inrichting is gedateerd en mag wel wat onderhoud krijgen. De menukaart is ook typisch voor een grillrestaurant; niet al te fris... Maar het eten was prima, sappig vlees en verse ingrediënten en salade. Ook ons verzoek om geen friet te geven werd gewoon verwerkt. Drankjes gewoon uit een blikje met glas, verder niks bijzonders. De prijs is precies het product waard.
