The location looks quite nice at first glance. The service is appalling: the servers are incredibly unfriendly and treat you like a walking wallet. Avoid at all costs!

After years of cheesy food and drinks and a lack of enthusiasm, the place seems to be experiencing a breath of fresh air. More seating, cozy tents with lights, and a greater mix of young and old. Of course, there are still plenty of expats, but the atmosphere is improving, and Dutch is spoken here and there. This is truly what the dairy deserves, with such a unique location. Kudos to the new vision.

A nice place to relax and have a drink. The fresh ginger tea was delicious. The hot snacks were as expected. Friendly and fast service. Easy to order with a code. The restrooms are separate at the back of the building, so you can also just go directly from outside. The lady was friendly, but it was a 50-cent entrance fee, but in return, you get clean restrooms.

This is a lovely café in the park with a wonderful view. The setup is very efficient — you simply find a table, scan the QR code to order and pay, and your order is served to you without any waiting for staff. Service was quick, and although we only had drinks, everything was great. The toilet is managed separately (I believe by someone else) and costs €0.50 per person. Definitely recommended for a short break while walking in the park.

Nice place for a nice bite and drinks

We initially wanted to have breakfast in the self-service area of ​​the restaurant, but after about five minutes of waiting at the counter, we weren't greeted or asked for a seat. So we moved on and only later realized that the service area was part of the same restaurant. There, we ordered using a QR code, paid, and were asked to add a tip in advance, even though no service had been provided up to that point. After about 30 minutes, our food (a burger and a cheese sandwich) finally arrived, even though the restaurant was almost empty. Everything tasted fine, but the overall flow and service were disappointing.

Avoid. Waiting 40 minutes after QR-ordering, no apologies and came with the money back because they lost the order.

A great café in Vondelpark to sit down, have a coffee, and watch the herons come and say hello... it's lovely to be back after so many years and rediscover this place. Easy ordering via the QR code, friendly service, and great coffee!

The café has a very cozy atmosphere, and it’s usually quite lively with many people around, which makes it feel welcoming. The coffee is really tasty and definitely worth trying. Prices are a bit above average, but the quality and vibe make it a nice spot to visit.

Came here today for some impromptu lunch. Zen was our server and he was the best! So lovely and attentive and just really smiley. I was with internationals and he spoke with all of them in their own different native languages? Wild. Would definitely return!

Amazing Burger and great beers selection

Really really nice bar, sound staff and delicious (tropical ipa) beer. Little expensive bit worth it for the lakeside views in the middle of the park. Highly recommend

Nice place... be careful, there are two areas... the restaurant and the self-service restaurant. It's quite expensive: €68 for two drinks, a croque monsieur, two cheeseburgers, and fries. And it's not very good. Toilet fees are 0.50 cents. The only positive aspect is the children's playground.

Nice for a drink in the park, but don't expect too much. The terrace is spacious but lacks atmosphere. The food is mediocre, and you have to order and pick it up yourself at the bar. There's a small playground for children, but it's nothing special. We were bothered by pigeons while eating.

Not exactly clean. You can tell it's run by young people who don't take things too seriously. Luckily, there was a woman working the restroom, so it was decent.

This is our new “go to” place when meeting up with friends to walk in Vondelpark. I used to think it would be too touristy but the ambiance inside is great and the outside is beautiful. The menu is very good with a nice balance and mix. Bar is full and beer and wine selection is fine. Staff is nice, prompt and friendly.

A huge place with a large children's play area and seating. The food is average, but what's worrying is the almost complete lack of interaction with the staff, as orders and payments are handled over the phone.

Very disappointed. I've been coming here for years for a drink, snack, or appetizer. This afternoon I thought I'd have another "pleasant" lunch. I ended up with a baguette caprese. Unfortunately, not the usual light, crispy baguette, but a small sourdough baguette. The bread was heavy, chewy, half the amount they usually give, and very sparsely topped. And the price? Haha, you pay practically the same. The fries were cold and covered in a ton of salt. I got new ones upon request, but they were also limp... what a disappointment.

Great location with loads of food options, great quality food and little wait time at peak hours. Playpark is vast enough for children to be entertained and the atmosphere was nice. Centre to the park, so a nice walk to and from the restaurant. Loads of indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of highchairs too. Can't fault it.

Zeer mooi terras aan het water in het Vondelpark. Voldoende schaduw. De pizza was een echte aanrader. Lekker om te ontspannen. Het bestellen gaat via een qr-code en gaat heel vlot. Je wordt snel bediend. Ik miste wel een uitgebreide mocktailkaart.

June 2025 Remains a perfect spot in the Vondelpark. I mist admit for a Monday morning pretty busy (but tables left) - normally never be here at those times. Fully in the sun, but of course parasols to create shade as well. Ordering via QR code - delivery after is pretty fast. Not really friendly but the system works.

Next generation auto service using your mobile then the waiter brings it to you. Try the fresh mint and ginger tea, amazing.

Extremely bad service. Food is acceptable, staff is a bit useless, they’d be better off having some robots deliver the food … at least there wouldn’t be a negative attitude. Closed at 8pm without any warning. Vibe is ok.. it’s a cute spot in the park, but no music.

Great open air seating in the middle of the park. You have to order and pay on your phone in advance. But our party had pizza, burger, hummus and enjoyed all!

Perfect place for dinner or a drink with kids since there’s a great playground. One of my favorite places in A’dam for over 10 years.

Food below average: fries stew much too salty. Other portion of fries was stone cold. This was replaced by fresh ones on request. Hamburger was ok.

What a great spot to take a break from wandering around the park! QR code ordering on the tables (walk up and seat yourself). We sat on a wooden platform by the water and watched baby geese and coots swim around and play while we ate lunch. Really good Diavola pizza and our first time trying bitterballen (which we enjoyed).

They hosted a double birthday with kids for us. By the fireplace at the back - 21 people - Everything was perfect. We were quite crowded for the space, initially the plan was to be outside, but due to rain, plans changed and they were really flexible. Everyone had a great time, thanks a lot!

Un posto ampio in cui prendersi una pausa piacevole a Vondelpark: grandi spazi giochi per bambini, tavoli all'esterno e all'interno, menù via QR Code incluso pagamento. La scelta è più abbondante sul salato ma noi volevamo goderci una buona merenda dolce e siamo rimasti soddisfatti: i dolci sono molto buoni e i prodotti a base di caffè e latte (cappuccini, ecc...) sono PERFETTI.

2025/5 A cafe in vondelpark. The terrace is also good. Order on the terrace using QR. Coffee 2.7 euros, salad (vegetables and herring on bread) 13.7 euros. Anyway, the atmosphere is relaxing.

Plenty of seating options and usually less busy than Proeflokaal.

It's a nice place in the Vondelpark. But you need to order and pay by a website. So you need your Smartphone. Nothing for elderly people.
