I've been coming here for years, but unfortunately, all the chicken fillets are slaughtered halal. Recently, a large sign was posted at the checkout. The chicken must have bled to death while conscious. It's a shame a Surinamese store is also participating in this.

Poor service. No attention was paid to the customer when ordering. I was ignored for three minutes before being helped. I ended up leaving without ordering anything.

Unfortunately, like many in the reviews, we've noticed a significant decline. We didn't have a good feeling about it when we called to ask a question. The food we ate last time wasn't what we were used to either. And the portions are getting smaller and smaller. We used to order weekly fixed orders for a family of five. Now we can only manage with just the three of us. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt, but after ordering four times, we're completely done with it. It's impersonal and not at all what they used to be. It's a shame, but hey, they're not the only ones... Good luck with that.

No, roti from this place isn't in my top 10. The authentic masala curry flavor, the chicken and potato cheesecake really lacks the curry flavor. Tjau-min moksi miti was too salty and dry. The sweet gravy that comes with it is necessary to make it edible. I parked the car at the Alexanderplein parking garage because we were shopping in Rotterdam city center and the Alexadrium for a day, and I thought I'd get something to eat there because it looked neat and good. Back home in Deventer, so 186km away, I was looking forward to the food I brought. It was a disappointment. So now I'm at home full of regret that I didn't go to Kruiskade in Rotterdam West, because there are restaurants there that do meet the authentic taste of roti and tjau-min. €30 for the chicken roti and Tjau-min moksi miti, no more from this place.

The food has really deteriorated dramatically. The bakabana was over-fried, so it was very hard and chewy, and the banana itself wasn't soft either. The teloh should be soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. The cod didn't have a good color. It looked more like tuna. It tasted like crispy French fries instead of real teloh. And the peanut sauce with the banana didn't taste good. I really didn't like it; it was a waste of my money. Afterward, I had a stomach ache and felt very nauseous. I won't be ordering from here again.

As if someone had three pieces of fish left over from their own lunch and thought: "Here, for you." The tello itself wasn't just overcooked — it was a greasy war. Seriously, those things were floating in oil as if they were preparing for a swimming competition in the Gulf of Mexico. I had to throw half of it away, because even my stomach said: "I can't take this anymore, stop it." For those who don't know: tello is supposed to be slightly crispy, not a black brick from hell. Cod should be plentiful, well salted, not hidden as if it were contraband. And if you charge almost 17 euros for 2 portions of tello with 1 coke, I can at least expect that I won't need a crash course in antacids after eating. Location? Yes, that's nice. But then you might as well just sit there and eat a sandwich, because the view is the only thing worth eating here. Tip for the business: Read a cookbook. And I don't mean one from TikTok, but one that has real Surinamese food in it. Maybe one with pictures, that helps too. So I will NEVER eat here again. Even my shadow will stay on the other side of the street from now on.

Roasted chicken sandwich and chicken curry. The service is ok. You had to order via a screen. So not much special, but the sandwiches were delicious. The roasted chicken in particular was nice and crispy.

I thought I'd get a simple chicken curry sandwich, but simple doesn't do justice to how cool this sandwich was. Ordered nasi yesterday, the nasi was spoiled, smelly and slimy! The Baras were unedible, the meat fell out with every bite, the way it was cut doesn't even fit the meat filling properly. Super nice place where you can order both Chinese and Surinamese food. The Chinese dishes cannot be compared to regular Chinese restaurants. The food is fresh, there is a lot of it and it tastes much better than elsewhere. The staff is friendly and they work hard in the open kitchen in a clean shop. The only downside I can think of is that you can only pay with PIN. I order here weekly and the 5 stars are well deserved.

Ben er helaas thuis achter gekomen dat ze de kippenbout zijn vergeten. Ik ga de volgende keer nakijken voordat ik de restaurand verlaat. Daarnaast is het personeel beleefd en heb ik zo'n 10/15 minuten op mn eten gewacht.

Lekker eten voor een betaalbare prijs

Prima eten, personeel vriendelijk, 2e keer geweest en alles was in orde, goeie porties ook, zelfs met de huidige inflatie. Enige is dat het zit gedeelte weinig tafeltjes heeft en niet gezellig is voor tafelen, maar prima te doen voor een snelle hap.

Normaliter vaste klant. Op 19 januari ruim 2 uur op mijn bestelling gewacht. Na gebeld te hebben te horen gekregen dat de bezorger al onderweg was, waarna we nog een half uur hebben gewacht. Eten was prima maar bij aankomst was het eten koud. Op 8 februari onder andere een saoto besteld, maar die was slecht gekruid (smaakte gewoon naar water) en er ontbrak eten (bak met gefruite uitjes, frites, chips en ketjap hadden ze er niet bij gedaan).

Ik kom hier voor de belegde broodjes, heerlijk , goed gevuld en vriendelijk personeel. Ligt ook onder het winkelcentrum oosterhof.. dus lekker gemakkelijk! Naast de ANWB winkel

Het eten is echt een 10 letterlijk 5 sterren. De hygiëne is alleen teleurstellend dame met de bril en super lange nepnagels zit er eerst mee in dr oor en gaat daarna lekker me broodje maken echt disgusting! Misschien handschoenen een optie?

Vandaag vier broodjes besteld en mee naar huis meegenomen. Broodjes waren oud en één broodje was belegd met 4 garnalen! Ik heb een kwart van het broodje moeten weggooien, omdat er was dus niet voldoende beleg was. Ik snap dat alles duurder is geworden, maar €4,30 voor een broodje garnalen met vier stukjes garnalen is belachelijk. De overige drie broodjes waren ook karig belegd.

De service en communicatie was super positief! Maar het eten vonden wij totaal niet waard voor ons geld. Het smaakte flauw en na een baby portie, hebben we het helaas moeten weggooien.

De tjauwin was teleurstellend. Het proeft naar zoute ketjap. Meer niet. Kip en tjasew vlees was top!
