H'ART Museum Grand Café in Weesperbuurt/Plantage

We could have commented on the food if the lame waiter had bothered to take our order after much waving and shouting. Disgraceful.

Extremely rude service. We had just been sitting for a few minutes enjoying our coffee and the waiter came and tried to take the cups away, one of which was still half full. Feels like we were being pushed to immediately order something more or leave.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I don't even want to give it 1 star. There’s a waitor who tried to take away our unfinished coffee cups while we were still talking. He didn't even ask first and just put his hand in front of us. It was so rude and disrespectful!!!!

In summer, only the self-service area in the courtyard is open. It's very pleasant to sit under large parasols. We had lunch before visiting the museum and then coffee and cake. The selection isn't very extensive, but there's something for every taste. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Only card payments are accepted.

Im Sommer ist nur der Self-Service im Innenhof geöffnet. Man sitzt sehr angenehm unter großen Sonnenschirmen und ist vom Trubel der Stadt abgeschirmt. Die Karte ist überschaubar, aber man findet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Alles ist frisch und lecker. Der Kuchen ist von der Traditionskonditorei Holtkamp. Sehr lecker. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine gute Möglichkeit wenn man Museumsbesuch und eine kleine Erfrischung miteinander verbinden will

We had ordered chicken satay with whole wheat bread. Then came white bread. T was picked up and returned with whole wheat bread. However, then everything was cold. Apparently a lot of effort to warm it up. Employee's response to this: apologies and then she immediately walked away. Latte was not warm. What a worthless place.

Appalling would never return. My mother had not been feeling well all day, and we came to visit as tourists. I asked Grand Cafe for a bottle of water to buy, but since they don't sell water in plastic bottles and only glass, they refused to sell it me since I'm not sitting in. No other alternative was provided, such as tap water in a paper cup which they serve their hot drinks in. Worst Cafe ever- would not recommend! Atrocious customer service!

Very friendly staff, quick service and delicious food.

Tea and coffee taste good. Cakes are from patisserie Holtkamp, so delicious. Limited menu choice. Service at times can be very slow and not friendly. Pro’s: wheelchair accessible, good acoustics, spacious-various seating areas (banquettes in window, bar, etc). When the weather’s warm and sunny the cafe’s closed and instead the terrace in the green court yard is open.

The service was extremely slow – we waited an incredible amount of time to receive the food we ordered. We also waited a long time to place our coffee order, and it took even longer to actually receive the drinks. I noticed the drinks were ready and sitting on the counter, along with several others, but none of the staff seemed to notice or care. In the end, I had to get up and grab the tray myself. This level of neglect made for an overall unpleasant experience, and I’m sure I won't be returning.

Gran servicio y un montón de opciones en este restaurante impecablemente limpio situado en la planta superior del Museo Hart. Relación calidad-precio. Todas las bebidas y aperitivos servidos, incluido un mostrador caliente. El personal es muy educado y servicial y las mesas bien equipadas. Recomendaría un café especial y descansar aquí.

After waiting 20 minutes, the waitress asked where our order was. We hear that they have forgotten our order. How difficult can it be coffee, mint tea, apple pie and muffin. I can still see the young man walking back and forth (chicken without a head, excuse me, rooster without…..)

Horrible service, although there are many waiters running around, it’s very inefficient and unorganised. Multiple waiters intentionally ignoring customers, seems like they are selecting customers to be served, and very rude to customers

It was busy, but we still had to wait a very long time for the simple (coffee) order to be taken and certainly for the ordered items to be brought and again for the possibility to pay. Which by the way could only be done per table and not separately.

The coffee was fine. The service communicated chaotically and contradicted each other. No, you are not allowed to sit there. Discussion about where to pay... This made us uncomfortable.

Er zijn zo'n 5 mensen in de bediening die je niet opmerken. Het was nog geen 15 00 uur. Toen eindelijk iemand mijn bestelling kwam opnemen was het inmiddels na 15 u en kon ik geen lunch meer krijgen. Toen ik eindelijk mijn koffie kreeg en bovenstaande uitlegde kreeg ik alsnog ern lunch. Deze dame had het begrepen wat service is. De eerste zei dat ze de lunchtijden niet had bedacht. Uiteindelijk werd ik wederom niet opgemerkt toen ik wilde betalen. Dus naar de kassa gelopen.

Lovely terrace outside in the courtyard. The food tasted good, of course it was Amsterdam prices (4 euros extra for 3 small pieces of chicken). Fortunately, you support the museum with it.

Het duurt lang voordat we opgemerkt worden door de bediening. Ik bestel brood met avocado en kip. Er liggen 2 stukjes, droge oude kip op mijn brood à 4,50 extra. Het ei is blauw van binnen. Echt een teleurstellende ervaring. Bediening is heel vriendelijk.

Mooie locatie, rustige en gezellige sfeer en hele vriendelijke bediening. Wij zaten bij kiosk buiten lekker in de zon. Vooral de taarten zijn een aanrader!!

This place is absolutely stunning, the garden has a very relaxed atmosphere. It is the best in Amsterdam to enjoy the sun. They have a wide variety of drinks and food available. I can not recommend it enough.

Goede sfeer, heerlijk eten en mooi interieur. Een super restaurant in het centrum van Amsterdam! Echt een aanrader voor als je koffie met appeltaart wilt eten of een heerlijke lunch. Met mooi weer hebben ze ook een prachtige binnentuin met terras.

Snelle self service voor de koffie. Heel vervelend in de hele Hermitage, ook in het café dus, is dat er uitsluitend met pin betaald kan worden. Makkelijk voor de Hermitage, maar discriminerend naar bezoekers .

Mooi overzichtelijk restaurant. Mooi uitzicht. Heerlijke broodjes. Beetje lawaaierig. Doen!

Leuk restaurant met een mooi gevarieerd aanbod! Ik ga er graag terug. De markt op zaterdag vond ik ook erg leuk om te bezoeken.

My family and I stumbled across this place last Sunday and it was a great surprise! The food was tasty and light, the staff is very nice and helpful (especially with the language barrier) and the garden is beautiful. Really enjoyed it! Plus, there was a Jazz festival going on which was a very nice ending to our trip!

Er is geen prijslijst beschikbaar in de horeca van de Hermitage. Ook niet op verzoek. (Is niet toegestaan)
