A few weeks ago, we ordered catering for 100 people. They were very helpful regarding the various allergies we needed to take into account. They arrived well on time and the food was nice and hot. Several people carried the chafing dishes with the food to the party location. It was a bit of a walk, but no problem at all. Everything was set up neatly and the burners were lit. It was very nice that serving spoons were also provided. The food tasted great, was clearly freshly prepared, and made with great care. The portions are generous; we had more than enough! The service was great, and there was even the option to have the chafing dishes picked up. Highly recommended for catering: on time, friendly, delicious food, delivered nice and hot, and good portions.

My man and I truly love this restaurant, both for take a way/home order as well as eating in the place. What a delicious food, delightful people, great service. We've come back here 5 times already and it has become a place to go to everytime we're in the neighborhood in the Netherlands 🤍 Thank you!

The most fantastic Asian grocery store in South Holland, a real treat every time. Our Tahoe peteh bread with an egg is out of this world!

We had ordered the chicken cutlet, and gosh, it was such a disappointment. The chicken was rock hard, like pulling leather or plastic off the bone. A real letdown, because we had it really good for once. Nice and tender chicken is what we were looking forward to, but what we got was rock-hard, dried-out junk that none of the three of us could finish. The rice and green beans were also lukewarm.

This place would go bankrupt in no time in Rotterdam or The Hague. Against my better judgment, I tried again today—it is always just a snapshot in time, after all—but this is the last time. The tempeh consisted of a bit of soy stuck together into one lump of sugar, and the gado gado consisted of nothing but cabbage and bean sprouts with a stray bean here and there. You couldn't whip something up any cheaper, but then again, they have no competition from real Indonesian food in Maassluis.

In the past, we found the food to be much better than it is today. Now, for example, the nasi and/or bami are already in containers in the fridge, whereas when you come to pick up food, you get one of those pre-portioned containers, add the meat, and your order is done. I can taste that this nasi is not fresh. I picked up food one more time yesterday, and I can only say that it was bad again. I'm talking about the reviews, and they don't lie either. For me, this was the last time.

Always good and fast delivery. Only there are times when you have to wait two hours for your food. Food is microwaved. I don't understand how it can be so busy that it takes two hours. Keep this in mind.

Last Saturday, I provided the same feedback via the QR code. I'm very disappointed that, after a week, no one has contacted me. Here's a review via Google, as indicated in my message: One star for the following reasons: - The food wasn't delivered until 6:20 PM instead of 6:00 PM - Three of our dishes still had either chicken hair or actual human hair on them! This is absolutely unacceptable and completely ruined our appetite. - The food didn't arrive warm. - I wanted to discuss this over the phone, but after 15 minutes of giving four different options, I gave up hope. For €76, where almost everything could have gone in the bin because it really ruined our appetite, this was a terrible waste of money!

I left again, and this is the last time. You used to get great food here, quickly and at a good price. Now, not only have the prices skyrocketed, but they don't even bother with the 7-8 customers in the store and are completely taken advantage of. Why not organize those delivery orders somewhere else? It's so excruciatingly slow now that you can easily wait half an hour for overpriced food.

I ordered a meal from you on November 6th and received a lot of noodles but very little meat or vegetables. This is the second time this has happened, hence the bad review. I only had a few pieces of chicken, and I had so much of one vegetable that I had to search for it. I would have loved to have come back with my plate and show it to you. I'll stop by soon to show you the photo.

The reviews are completely wrong!! How ridiculous. I've been coming here for years. It's a family business that hires staff. It's true, I've had two mistakes in all these years. These aren't reheatable meals! They make them in advance and heat them up. The staff they hire is good, but occasionally new staff comes in and they make mistakes. That happens. There were times when I even ordered food from them half a week. I always thought the green beans needed to be cooked a bit longer. Otherwise, I've never had a problem. I'm a satisfied customer and love coming here. My family also really likes their food. I always order the same thing: a dish of the day with noodles as a base. I get two eggplants and an egg. For meat, I get one chicken from the middle tray and one pulled pork. I'm so upset that they're on vacation; I really miss their food. It's an addiction that's been going on since I was little.

The quality of the food is going downhill. Eggplant in the sajerlode. Tempe manis is not fresh. If you want to choose something you have to pick it up or pay 4.5 euros extra for the same dish. The flavors leave much to be desired. It is no longer as it should be…

Delicious sandwiches to eat on site, but also to take away or have delivered. Also tasty Indonesian dishes with a wide variety that you can put together yourself. I've been coming here for about 20 years now (used to be weekly because I worked nearby). Now whenever I'm around.

Even though we live far away these days, we still go here regularly for takeout. We have tried a number of Indonesian restaurants in our area, but we have not yet found the quality of Haven Indah!

Was van plan online te bestellen maar kwam er achter dat er al voor 22eu aan eten in mijn mandje zat wat ik nooit besteld heb daar of ergens. Proberen het te verwijderen wat niet ging dus ik heb ze maar gebeld en dat gemeld. Had wel trek in broodjes kip kerry en saté, alleen toen ik iemand aan de lijn kreeg en dat melden werd ik vreselijk onbeschoft te woord gestaan. De eerste die ik aan de lijn kreeg kan volgens mij helemaal geen nederlands en die daarna snapt de zakelijke kant niwt hoe je klanten te woord moet staan. Vreselijke toko met vreselijk personeel!!

Wat een vreselijke ervaring! Zeer slecht en brutaal personeel, en ook het eten is zeer beneden peil. Wij kwamen hier om te lunchen en werden ronduit onbeschoft geholpen door een dame (meisje) achter de balie, een ook het eten was van slechte kwaliteit. Zeer teleurstellend en we komen hier zeker nooit meer terug!

This Sunday I decided to try it again. Order a daily special of nasi at Haven Indah. Completely against my better judgement, because in the past the delivery of meal(s) has gone wrong many times. There was always something missing. Then one of the side dishes, then the prawn crackers again. And then I always rub my hand over my heart and hope for improvement. I dare say that I have been a regularly returning customer who has been collecting Indian meals from the very beginning of this business and later having them delivered. Today it went wrong again, instead of the ordered nasi dish of the day, a bami dish of the day was delivered. We don't like it and hence the 3 stars for the food. Called immediately and I got the same lady on the phone who took the order. If I'm not mistaken, she is the owner of the shop. Her response to my displeasure was a brief sorry and better luck next time. This really rubs me the wrong way. Haven Indah has become too big and that has been at the expense of a lot of customization. Do you know "the law on the braking advantage"? (otherwise just look it up). If a sticker existed, it could be placed on their shop door. Real Indian food is delicious, but I will never do this again. If it's better to pick it up, I'll drive to the store in Vlaardingen. Oh yes, a compliment to the delivery person. He neatly handed over the meal and wished us a tasty meal. Unfortunately the latter was not successful.

Previously ordered here regularly, always thought the price was reasonable for a microwaveable container. But it's good to eat normally. However, this time I received lukewarm noodles, cold chicken and beef. But we were in a hurry so we warmed it up in the microwave, which in my opinion is not the intention if you order something for 80 euros. It bothered me a bit because if you order something for 80 euros, in my opinion you can at least expect it to be delivered warm. So I thought I'd call the business and let them know that it was cold. I also explained the story about having heated it up yourself and being in a hurry. I get as a response. "Well it was just hot, it's our word against yours" To which I then indicate that I find this quite a strange reaction. And that in my opinion this has nothing to do with their word against mine, but that it is a customer who indicates that I was not completely satisfied with it. And then I am told "Too bad, not our problem" and I am literally laughed at. There is no indication that I am asking for any compensation at all. I just wanted to point out that it wasn't quite right. I think this case should be ashamed of itself. The meat, which costs 45 euros in total, was literally cold. We used to order here quite often and always leave a minimum tip of 5 to 10 euros and if you indicate that you have cold food you will be laughed at for calling. I will never order from here again from now on.

The food is super tasty and definitely something we will order more often. I hesitated for a moment about whether to eat Daan, even though a nice seating area has been created, it still does not invite me to eat there. But I enjoyed the food at home. I can highly recommend it.

I am pleased to share my experience at this Indonesian restaurant. From the moment I smelled the aroma of herbs, I knew I was in for a culinary adventure. The restaurant welcomed me with warm hospitality and an atmosphere that embraces Indonesia's rich cultural heritage. The dishes were a perfect balance between traditional flavors and modern presentation. Each dish was a work of art in itself, prepared with fresh ingredients and craftsmanship. The rendang melted in my tongue, the nasi goreng brought back memories of distant travels and the satay was heavenly seasoned. The staff were attentive and friendly, and made sure my dinner was a memorable experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Indonesian food and excellent service.

Vandaag 2x de dagschotel afgehaald, zeer ruime porties en veel keuze. Thuis opgewarmd en goede kwaliteit van het eten. 1 groot minpunt, het eten was veel en veel te scherp. Blijkt dat er gekozen kan worden uit mild, mild/scherp en scherp. Jammer dat dit niet is gevraagd bij het bestellen en ws de scherpe variant is meegegeven. We gaan zeker een keer terug voor de milde variant want prijs/kwaliteit is prima in orde.

Today is the last visit ever to this terribly customer unfriendly owner!!! We often came here to get food, with an emphasis on CAME. Today we bought almost €100 worth of food and asked the friendly lady who works there if that includes atjar. The lady then replied “yes, even 2 portions” and she placed 2 bowls of atjar with our order. The owner walked up to the 2 containers and asked his employee why we received 2 portions of atjar. She replied that we had ordered 2 large containers that included that. The owner took away 1 container with a straight face and said “that's enough”. We bought stuff for almost €100 and it's part of it?!? 😳😳. We made it clear to the owner that this is the last time he will ever earn 1 cent from us again. From now on we will go to the Heezen store again where they know how to deal with customers

They've been going since 1993 and I've been a customer for many years, but the magic is gone. Can't say the quality was always that consistent throughout the years, there were times you'd be unlucky if the food behind the glass had been out on display for too long and had gotten too dry, but that wasn't that much of a frequent occurrence. Nowadays though it seems the opposite: dried-out non-tender and non-juicy meats seem to have become the norm. A renovation took place a couple of years ago and the place honestly looked very chique after, but this also lead to a problem: legal battles with upstairs neighbours because of their places now smelling of Indonesian food all the time, which seemed to be very hard to fix and maybe this is still ongoing. I don't know if this is what affected the overall quality. Apart from the fresh food not being up to the standards I used to know, the heated-up food for in-store pickup is now frequently not warm enough OR it's overcooked to the point of rice being crunchy and separately provided prawn crackers stale. Prices have gone through the roof and I personally feel it's not worth the gamble anymore, hoping you'll be lucky getting a bit of the 'old magic' on hopefully a good day or at the right time of day.

Delicious. I myself come from a family of catering entrepreneurs. I now understand why this place is so loved by the locals. There are people from surrounding villages and towns who have it delivered. We had dinner there. The reception is great. We received a separate bowl of prawn crackers and a separate bowl of pickled cucumber slices. In addition, warm peanut sauce. We both had the same base, namely noodles. But protein and vegetables were on our own wishes. Well, my partner was in the mood for shrimp, while I wanted spicy tofu and dagang. Both had Rendang. The meat was nicely stewed, so soft, so soft but not pulled pork at all. Also tasty, but this Indian place was phenomenal. I realized after dinner that I hadn't taken a photo of our food. I was so hungry from 7 hours of walking Hoek van Holland beach dunes and bunkers. Okay, we took our breaks. I completely forgot to take pictures of our food. I'm telling you this place is legid. I was almost done eating when I got a hit from the sambal. I'm used to it, but I haven't eaten hot things in so long. My nose was immediately open!!! 🤣🤣🤣 A true real Indian eatery. You can eat on site or order and have it delivered to your home. Due to popular it does not deliver to all places in South Holland. So just ask if they can deliver to your village or city. The ladies are friendly and hospitable. If you're up for a chat or have any questions, they answer patiently. The owner is extremely nice. The Indian food is authentic. Some dishes are normal, some are a bit spicy. Others very spicy. It is stated on the nameplates how hot the dish is. To put out the fire I took a cold can of Fanta. I don't know what the costs are, my table master has paid. My group knows the owner very well.

This one star is for the sandwiches that my son got this week, I also regularly got good food there. Beef sandwich was so intensely dry that I could literally pulverize it between my fingers. The chicken sandwiches might have turned out a little better, but that was mainly due to the sauce. The chicken was also very dry. I haven't had a chance to go back with it at the moment, so hopefully this feedback will help. This is no respect for your customers.

What delicious Indonesian food!

We have been ordering here for several years and in terms of taste, Haven Indah, just like Soeboer from The Hague, ranks alone when it comes to 'takeaway food'. The rice table for 1 or 2 people can easily feed 3 people. Recently, however, there is no longer any confirmation by email or text message when you place an order.

Delivery is getting worse and worse. Ordered and paid more than 1.5 hours in advance. There will no longer be a confirmation email. If you ask why not, the answer is I don't know. And this time the order was late again.

The tastiest Indonesian store in the Netherlands. I've been coming here for 25 years or so. Even now that I live 80km away, I drive past it to get food whenever I'm anywhere near it.

Had a bite to eat a few years ago. It's been renovated. Case looks clean. The food is delicious and a very wide choice. Nice people in the service. The Martabak that we had for lunch tasted good, it lacked a spice, but with a lick of sambal it made up for it (personal preference). Highly recommended to come in and eat.

We bought 3 sandwiches together on Friday September 30th. The chicken was dry and tasteless and the braising balls seemed to come from a can 🤮 (tasteless and indefinable in structure). The only tasty thing was the sambal. While preparing our sandwiches, we noticed that the leftovers from a previous order that had already been warmed up in the microwave were simply put back in the container to prepare the next order 🤮. The used container from the previous order was also used without cleaning to prepare our order. After seeing this I already had doubts about the quality of the food. Unfortunately, my hunch turned out to be correct. I regularly visit various shops, but I no longer visit Haven Indah.

Was always a great place with super tasty dishes. Nowadays it is an automated cash register system where you get a number and after a long wait something comes out of the microwave. The case is also involved in various lawsuits in connection with odor nuisance.

Vandaag samen even 3 broodjes gehaald. De kip was droog en smaakloos en de smoorballen leken uit blik te komen 🤮 (smaakloos en ondefinieerbaar qua structuur). Het enige smaakvolle was de sambal. Tijdens het bereiden van onze broodjes viel het op dat de restjes van een vorige bestelling die al opgewarmd waren in de magnetron gewoon terug in de bak gingen voor het klaarmaken van de volgende bestelling 🤮. Ook het gebruikte bakje van de vorige bestelling werd zonder schoonmaken gebruikt voor het klaarmaken van onze bestelling. Na dit te hebben gezien had ik al twijfels over de kwaliteit van het eten. Helaas bleek mijn voor gevoel correct. Regelmatig bezoek ik diverse toko’s, maar bij Haven Indah ga ik niet meer langs.

Delicious meals eaten locally. You can already smell it when you enter. I was a bit skeptical beforehand (what should you expect from such a small place), but the smell already makes your mouth water. I'll definitely come back here. Also brought meals for home.

Very poor service. Ordered here. I received a container with 1 kg of sugar in it. It was inedible. I then contacted Haven Indah. They wanted my address so they could solve it, unfortunately it was never solved... I would like to order here next time. I will order two. think about it for a while...

Strange thing. We wanted our greetings separately in a container. This was not possible, they said. What are all those containers on the counter for? Then the owner probably informed me that it was possible but that it would have to be paid extra, so I did this. So it is possible! We wanted to eat hot. After 5 minutes of eating at home, it wasn't even luke warm. I also found hard pieces of meat in my dish. Furthermore, the food was just okay, but nothing more than that. They probably don't want new customers.

Had something delivered again after a very long time, what a disappointment! After waiting almost an hour we received dried out and stale food. The chicken ketjap didn't even taste like ketjap. And daging smoor should be gently simmered beef, not dry chunks of hard meat without sauce. Immediately ready again with port Indah!

My favorite is Rendang. The vegetables and side dishes are complete.

Gisteren weer een aantal heerlijke maaltijden afgehaald ( omdat ik niet naast de deur woon altijd voor drie dagen tegelijkertijd). Zeker de moeite waard. Hoge kwaliteit. Gisteren had ik nasi goreng, bami goreng, daging smoor en saté sapiens en groente natuurlijk. Ook nog een stukje spekkie voor bij de koffie. Nu, na de tweede dag ka ik al zeggen dat helemaal niets teleurstelde. We genieten al twee dagen lang van het gebodene. En dat voor een heel redelijke prijs. Prima, mensen ban Haven Indah. Ik kom graag bij jullie.

I love this kind of food. Lot of choice even for vegans like me. But take care if you're with kids because a lot of dishes are too much spicy for them.

The wonderful oriental air raises expectations. These are more than fulfilled with the delicious food there. Something for everyone with options even garlic-free or mild, spicy or very spicy. The whole of Maasskuis is talking about it and it turns out that for good reason!
