Ordered cancer food, arrived 2 hours later and tasted like nothing, waste of money, better boycott this company cancer sushi place

I ordered sushi via Thuisbezorg and i was scammed! They marked my order as delivered after I had been waiting 2.5 hours! When I called to ask where is my order was, the worker shifted responsibility to other cafe. After that i couldn’t reach them anymore. And they have extremely big prises! 👎

Dear reader, I ordered from Hayai Sushi today, so because of that, I still haven't had dinner at almost 10 p.m. I waited three hours for it after calling the restaurant six times to ask where my food was. They then lied to me about my order arriving within that timeframe, and yet it still didn't arrive. Furthermore, the employee told me, "You have to understand, after I was irritated by the food. After the order arrived, a dish was missing and the food was completely cold. The delivery driver threw the food in the trash."

What a bloody bad thing, I've been waiting for my order for more than 2 hours and they don't even answer the phone, this is not normal

I'm currently in the store. I've been there for an hour. I ordered €170 worth of food. I could pick it up starting at 12:20. At 12:25, someone comes rushing in, throws the door open, and doesn't say a word to me. He starts busily throwing pots and knives around. Now it's 1:00 PM... the man says, "Can't do it, can't do it." I have the printed receipt with me. It literally says I've already paid. I'm not leaving until I get my money back. The boss is apparently coming now.

Ordered sushi here for the first time. It took almost two hours for it to arrive. Upon arrival, the sushi was disgusting. It tasted old and sour. The fish had an odd color and smelled strange. You could see through the tuna. After reporting this, the manager, using slang, assured me the sushi would be just fine. A waste of time and money ordering sushi here.

I don't even want to spend energy to write a review but this will help others. This place does not live up to its name "hayai" , meaning fast in japanese. It took very long time before the order arrived. Very disappointing... I should have checked google reviews first before ordering from thuisbezorgd....

Delicious food! Delivered fresh and hot within an hour. Excellent. They often forget a second set of chopsticks or wasabi, even though you specify the number of people you're ordering for.

If I could put 0 stars, I would. I have never seen such a big scam. I ordered Californias sushis and loempias that were both under “Buy 1, get 1 free” deals on Thuisbezorgd and ended up getting only the extra loempias. When I called, I was told that I had to put in the description of my order which item I wanted to get an extra one for. But both were buy one get one free. I was basically told “It’s the rules”. I’m a student and I was happy because I was getting a deal, I ended up getting scammed. I now understand why this place has a 2.5 rating. Don’t even consider ordering!!

I received food that was clearly moldy. When I called the restaurant to report it, the manager treated me rudely and unkindly. No apology was offered, only that I should file a complaint. I am truly shocked by this attitude and find it unacceptable that customers are treated this way. Food should be safe, and you should expect a little respect when making a complaint. Definitely not recommended.

One star is actually way too many, but otherwise I couldn't leave a review. What a terrible experience at Hayai Sushi in Rotterdam. I've rarely eaten so poorly and been treated so disrespectfully as here. The sushi? Absolutely inedible. The rice was dry and falling apart, the fish tasted old and sour (as if it was just barely out of date), and everything looked like it had been hastily thrown together by someone who has no idea what they're doing. Even the cheapest supermarket sushi is a culinary experience compared to this mess. As if that weren't enough, the customer service was downright antisocial. Asking questions or giving feedback was met with a look as if you were personally insulting them. Not an ounce of friendliness, no apology, nothing. Just arrogance and indifference. You'd be lucky if they even looked at you. In short: a waste of money, a waste of your evening, and a waste of your appetite. Hayai Sushi? More like Bye Bye Sushi – I'm never coming back here.

We ordered €60 worth of food a while ago. The food never arrived. When we called, they argued that the delivery driver had arrived, but we ordered at 5:00 PM and the delivery driver was at our door at 11:30 PM... We never got our money back.

This place has variable quality. One time it was very good, very tasty. The next time, including today, it wasn't fresh and was sloppily made. Because of that, this is the last time I'll order from here.

I called several times and each time I was told: "It has already left, it has already left." But in the meantime nothing happened and I kept waiting. On top of that they were also really rude on the phone. I would never order from here again and I absolutely recommend everyone who reads this: don't order from here! Don't go there!

Sashimi is so delicious and certainly with the combination of their soy sauce. Best sashimi I have ever had. Also chose a surprise student box, and passed on that there is an allergy to tofu. This was taken into account. You have a regular customer!

Had to wait more than two hours and this business is not reachable by telephone. Too bad!!!

It said it would take 20-35 minutes. After 2 hours it was there and when I called they said for 45 minutes that it would take 5-10 minutes. The (hot) food was cold and the delivery person was not very friendly.

I've been ordering here regularly for years, but it's increasingly disappointing. Customer service has fallen underground, 2.5 hours of waiting, always the same story when calling: “it's on its way”, the delivery person doesn't even come to the door, quality is no longer what it used to be. Such a shame really. Was a great place, now better stay away.

We placed an order via thuisbezorgd at around 5:30 and we called at 6:30 to see if the order was already on its way. The person pn the phone responded by saying that our order was just about to leave the door, we waited more then an hour and mind you the restaurant is 5 minutes away from me. Then we called again and the order still hasnt left the door. All and all its been more then 3 hours since weve ordered and still havent received anything.

1 Star I ordered sushi at 7:30 PM, and after 3.5 to 4 hours, I still had not received my food. I called the restaurant over 20 times. Several times, they hung up on me, and when they did answer, they kept telling me the driver was on the way. However, the food never arrived. This was an absolutely unacceptable experience. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Poor customer service and zero accountability. Feel free to adjust it further to include any additional details!

We have been waiting for our order for 3 hours. 2.5 hours ago we called and someone answered with the message that your delivery person has just left. We live close to the branch so it can't be true that we still haven't received anything. We called 10 more times but were hung up each time. No contact can be made. Always had bad experiences with this restaurant. Standard 30-90 minutes longer than the maximum delivery time stated on Thuisbezorgd and they do not answer the phone if it is not convenient for them.

Waiting more than 2 hours for your food, spending 70 euros and then completely ignoring you as a customer if you don't like it... after filing a complaint, it was handled nicely.

DO NOT ORDER HERE!! Normally I'm not the person to leave reviews, but in this case I felt socially responsible to share what a fever dream the experience with this tent was. Initially the delivery would take between 30-50 minutes, after waiting an hour I called to ask if everything had gone through correctly, after calling 15 times without exaggerating, they were finally answered and told that it would be delivered soon. After an hour still no delivery, we called again (had to call several times again). Now we were told that 2 scooters were broken and that it was taking so long that we had better cancel, because it had already taken so long, we refused this and then we were told that it could be done within half an hour. Finally, after hours of waiting, our food was delivered. The snacks were inedible and the packaging was completely covered in sauce. Half of the sushi was of an amateur level and the other half was unidentifiable as to what we were eating. If the owners of this place had a little self-respect and self-reflection they would close immediately.

The quality of all the advertisements you make could be better. Taste was okay but sushi rice was super dry and the sushi fell apart and torn. I called after my online order to indicate that I wanted fresh warm rice. On the contrary!

Ordered here a few weeks ago, unfortunately found 2/3 pieces of hair in the sushi rolls. Immediately thrown away and taken elsewhere to eat. The manager is almost impossible to reach and wanted to see a video, sent by email and still not received any feedback. Called again yesterday and they said they would call me back. Again not the case, no money was refunded and after writing this review that is no longer necessary. The way they treat customers is super unprofessional. Not recommended:)

I’m customer since 3 years and can see that that quality of food is not the same it used to be. They have some attractive deals but quality should go above quantity. Last order we didn’t receive kropoek and despite my few attempts of contact the restaurant, my inquire was left without respond. Therefore 1 star for services.

had ordered and had not heard anything after two hours, I had to call them and said it would be on its way shortly, but it would have taken another hour and all the drinks and additions were not there. very poor restuarant with many missable items. I advise you not to order here and recently I refused the food on delivery because 3 items were missing: 2 drinks and a 3 piece of tempura.

Such a bad company. Half the sushi was on my doorstep. Waited two hours for my sushi and also received the wrong box, half of which was outside my door. You open the box and you're shocked. All the fish is off the sushi and the whole box seems shaken. In addition, the sushi is very dry and not fresh. Complaint filed and was immediately blocked on WhatsApp!! Never order here!!!!

Ordered salmom pokebowl. 90% was edamane with 3 bites of salmon. Dissapointing and covered in wasabi yo hide its poor quality.

I think the best description is "messy". Sushi is certainly tasty but falls apart, 3 bottles of soya sauce, 1 cup of wasabi. Delivery is very fast, but I think they can take 15 minutes longer if it means I don't have to eat it with a spoon. Again, taste ok, presentation....fries war.

When I called I also got a big mouth. the only thing that was tasty was the ice cream of which they had supplied the wrong flavors. really paid a lot of money for sushi that was of very low quality. my cat turned up her nose at the salmon. Me bestelling was in eerste instantie niet compleet bezorgd, omdat een deel in de opmerkingen stond. Ik kon het filiaal telefonisch niet bereiken, maar de bezorger is direct terug naar het filiaal gegaan en heeft de rest van me bestelling direct bezorgd. Heel goed gedaan.

Enorm traag op bestelling, nemen vaak de telefoon niet op, sushi is een hit or mis.

First and last. Sushi was door de bocht gevlogen, smakeloos en gedrenkt in mayonaise, en nog veel duurder ook dan sensei. Zonde. Bezorging duurde ook echt lang. Jammer.

Sushi besteld om 21:23 en het iets meer dan een uur later gekregen wat prima is voor een sushi tent. Alleen het eten was vrij matige kwaliteit. Sushi goedkoop en dat zie je jammergenoeg wel erg. In veel rollen geen avocado en als die er zit bruin. Aan het einde van de dag bestellen sowieso niet aan de raden

Al 3x ziek geweest van dit eten, toch besteld vanwege de prijs maar zeker niet aan te raden, er zijn veel betere plekken met zelfde prijsrange

Ben er niet heen geweest Heb online besteld. Eerst hebben ze mij laten wachten op mijn bestelling totdat zij ficht waren en ik geen contact meer kon opnemen. Nu 2 uur aan het wachten op een bestelling die niet eens aankomt. Wel zeggen dat de bestelling zo aankomt, maar niet leveren is niet echt netjes. Nooit meer bestellen hier.

I’ve been ordering food from Hayai sushi for the past 3 months and every time the food is amazing and there’s not a single thing missing. Every ingredient is fresh. Today I ordered from them and it said that the food will arrive in one hour, but today’s kind courier Akram was super fast; he arrived in 20 minutes since I placed and paid for my order. Moreover, he was so kind, full of energy and totally made my day!!!

0 sterren. Vrijdagavond om 21.36u sushi besteld (bestellen/bezorgen was tot 22.30u mogelijk, conform keuze op de website tijdens het bestellen). Tot 22.25u geen actie ondernemen en na geen update m.b.t. de bezorging, een aantal pogingen gedaan om te bellen; echter geen gehoor.. tot 23u wakker gebleven en vervolgens de hoop opgegeven, aangezien deze tent om 22.30 sluit. EN DAN.. 00.40u durft er iemand aan te bellen met een pakketje bestelde sushi (!!). Het hele gezin (en 2 kleine kinderen) wakker. Uit respect richting de bezorger nog de deur opengedaan en de bestelling aangenomen.. conclusie (wil er niet teveel woorden aan vies maken, niet waard); 1. Manier van onverantwoordelijk handelen 2. Kwaliteit eten slecht 3. Respectloos, zodra je durft om 00.40u (zonder bericht), nog langs te komen. BAGGER. Het bestaan van deze tent zal m.i. (Gezien andere reviews ook) niet lang zijn.

Veel klagen over bezorgen je kan beste afhalen dan weet je dat het goed heel thuis aan komt je sushi in plaast klage over bezoger

3,5 uur moeten wachten op mijn bestelling bij Hayai Sushi Hillegersberg in Rotterdam. Na 2 uur gebeld en de bezorger was zogenaamd onderweg. Een half uur later weer gebeld maar continu in gesprek. De hoorn was er gewoon naast gegooid. Na 3 uur en een kwartier eindelijk weer iemand aan de lijn. De bezorger was (weer) onderweg. Na 3,5 uur eindelijk bezorging. Wat warm moest zijn was steenkoud! Klacht duidelijk gemaakt en de bedrijfsleider zou contact opnemen voor een tegemoetkoming. Helaas niets gehoord of gezien. Inmiddels meerdere herinneringen gestuurd, maar ook daar wordt niet op gereageerd. Service is ver te zoeken! Ik was een vaste klant, maar zal op deze manier nooit meer bestellen!
