Really, really bad. It wasn't delivered until two hours later, which was 45 minutes late. The sushi was also really bad. Tough, soggy, and tasteless. It was my first time, but I'll never order from here again.

The delivery was late, and the quality was disappointing. Due to a mistake by Thuiszorgd, you can order before they're open. While that's not their fault, the staff's problem-solving skills are abysmal. No apology, no compensation. Then the delivery arrived an hour later, and the grilled salmon looked like it had been put through the blender three times. The rolls looked awful, and the service was alarming.

I order here often, and it's always delicious, but today, more than half the poke bowl was filled with edamame. I love it, but this was absurd. After a few bites, I was done, and when I removed all the edamame, there was very little left. I also always order spicy sauce with it, which I usually get in a separate container, but this time it was already on top, making the ebi tempura cold and soggy.

Saying sorry probably isn't part of their customer service training, because you're immediately told off for getting out of the way. You have to be careful not to slip there anyway, because they throw their trash in and next to the underground bins. Incidentally, they prefer to do this after midnight, which is also nice for the whole neighborhood. The sushi tasted awful, the service was terrible, and what I also find odd is that the place is open late at night. I have no idea what they do there, maybe baking bread or something. So the name Hayai Sushi, which means "fast" as well as "early," is a bit odd, or perhaps it's meant cynically.

Food took 2.5 hours to be delivered. Called after an hour and the delivery person would leave after 5 minutes. Called again after an hour and 45 minutes, it still had to be made. Called after 2 hours and it was delivered somewhere. Of course I didn't receive anything. So they said they would make new ones within half an hour. I used to order here often. But this is really the last time. Sushi is often variable. It is often a gamble whether the rice is well seasoned with sushi vinegar or not. Other sushi places are more consistent in quality. I think you can better pick up here. Delivery is worthless.

The sushi here is really of top quality! The fish is fresh, the rice perfectly prepared and the flavors are beautifully balanced. You can taste the care and attention that goes into every dish. The special rolls and poke bowls are definitely recommended. One of the better sushi experiences I've had in a long time.

For those who are in doubt, read this. Ordered via Uber at just after 6, delivery time between 0650 and 0710, received nothing at 0730, called, it was out the door. A quarter past 8 I asked über where my order would be, it would be delivered within 20 minutes, I got my food at a quarter to 9, the spring rolls were so cold that you would think they had left the door at half past 6, I get no excuse, no responsibility is taken. Hayai sushi doesn’t refund for not delivering On this date 16/06 (Sunday) made a order at Hayai Sushi online but I didn’t not received my order and I got a call from a employee saying that it was closed. We received no response to our complaint via email. So here it is. We have often had to wait very long at Hayai sushi. This time again, we ended up having to wait 2.5 hours. It's New Year's Day, so we expected a long time, but it's unreal that the restaurant was unreachable by phone. The gyozas were stone cold upon arrival. What perhaps surprised me the most this time was the soy sauce. We received three jars, but they all smelled terribly and tasted very stale. We threw it all away, because it didn't improve the taste of the sushi at all.

Order early if you order during peak hours, things will go wrong. They have a shortage of staff, but if you order early and don't stress about how long delivery will take, you will have a lot of sushi and it's delicious too. Always order my sushi here and very satisfied. However, the last two times no avocado with the ebi tempura, and now no wasabi with my order. Called and wasabi was out due to the crowds. Understandable on their part, but I will order elsewhere from now on. Sushi without wasabi is like an egg without spices. Edit: from 2 stars to 3 stars (3.5 if possible), because sometimes things go wrong, but still my regular place for sushi. By far the cheapest and very tasty if you can occasionally accept that there is a little less avocado or something similar.

Very promising website, but after ordering everything falls to pieces: 1,5 hours waiting, the worst delivery person I've ever met (moody, uninterested, didn't handle the bag with care so it tore at the side), we asked for replacement of egg and tofu that was ignored, we asked them to not bring any soy sauce to prevent extra waste that was ignored, 1 of the dishes hasn't been delivered at all, there were seeds on every frickin' sushi item, wasabi was well over sell by date, avocado wasn't fresh, maki's weren't properly filled, poorly rolled sushi.

Food was a full hour late and when we called them 'it was already on its way'. Great story man, that was also on the Food Tracker for an hour. For what time and how expensive it was, it was actually pretty bad. Fried food was stone cold, limp and soggy. Funny contrast with the ice cream that was already half thawed. Don't know how they managed that. Sushi was a bit dried out and old. Cucumber was dried out and everything that was supposed to be crunchy was soft and limp. The sushi also fell apart. It's quite bad that this is the second best sushi restaurant that they recommend on home delivery, so that just says that those reviews cannot be trusted.

Will definitely not going to order here ever again. Update: order came 2,5 hours after ordering at 22:37 when I already brushed my teeth and was on the way to bed. It was tasty though.

Scandalous! The service was 0.0 When ordering we asked how long it would take and he said they would deliver it in a very short time. We literally had to wait an hour and a half. Then they brought us wrong sushi boxes. We called this restaurant and asked if we could get the right sushi boxes. We were then told by a certain Moad that they would do this, provided we returned the sushi boxes. They would also only bring the correct boxes 30/40 minutes later. I asked if he could help us, but no, he thought this was already to our advantage. Incomprehensible! He was super rude and not customer friendly at all!

Currently still waiting on a delivery after 3.5 hours... I tried calling after 2.5 hours and was told the order was on the way. After another hour passed I called again to check in and the number was no longer reachable. I spent my entire night waiting for this food and now I need to get to sleep and haven't had dinner.

Voor het eerst sushi via Hayai Sushi Almere besteld. Anderhalf uur moeten wachten, waarna slechts de helft aan eten werd gebracht. Daarnaast was de sushi ook nog eens heel slecht gesneden. Hayai Sushi vervolgens de hele avond geprobeerd te bellen en ook een mail gestuurd. Er werd niet opgenomen en de mail is nooit beantwoord. De volgende dag uiteindelijk een medewerker gesproken die zei dat hij er niets aan kon doen omdat er die avond een andere ploeg werkte, maar hij beloofde dat de manager mij zou bellen die toch langs zou komen. Dit is nooit gebeurd. De dag erop 's middags weer een andere medewerker gesproken die totaal onverschillig op onze klacht reageerde en zei dat de manager op vakantie was en dat de slechte service de schuld van de collega's was en dat we maar beter nooit meer bij Hayai Sushi moesten bestellen en verbrak de verbinding. Hier heeft hij groot gelijk in. Iedereen geeft elkaar de schuld van de slechte service, is slechtgemanierd, beloftes worden niet waargemaakt en het eten wat je dan krijgt (bijna niets dus..) is ondermaats. Heel jammer dat onze eerste ervaring met Hayai Sushi zo teleurstellend was en ook meteen de laatste. Wil je lekker eten, snelle service en een vriendelijk en eerlijk woord, bestel dan vooral NIET bij HAYAI SUSHI ALMERE. Er zijn zoveel betere sushi zaken die wel hart hebben voor de klant. Claudia

The sushi is tasty, but the service is bad. There is a promotion for home delivery that you get a free roll for orders over 15 euros, I ordered that and wrote what I wanted in the comments (this was necessary). I didn't get anything afterwards. I called to ask why not, the boy told me that I supposedly hadn't put anything in the comments. According to him I had to put it somewhere else (in another comment?) and so I had done it wrong, then he didn't offer me anything to send or something like that and he hung up on me very abruptly. In my opinion, this action is not clear and does not solve things properly.

Wij hebben afgelopen zondag 3 UUR op ons eten moeten wachten!!! We hebben meerdere keren gebeld maar er werd niet opgenomen, na een uur kregen we eindelijk iemand aan de lijn, die zei dat het erg druk was en dat de bezorger nu weg zou gaan. Na weer een uur te hebben gewacht hebben we weer gebeld, bezorger zou er met 10 minuten zijn. Na een half uur weer gebeld, kregen we weer hetzelfde antwoord. Na weer een uur hebben we de bestelling geannuleerd en wilde ik m’n geld terug! Dit was mogelijk, moest ik een mailtje sturen. Dat heb ik gedaan! Uiteindelijk na 3 uur kwam het ineens toch?! Helft van de bestelling vergeten!! WIJ BESTELLEN HIER NOOIT MEER. Dan maar liever iets meer betalen ergens anders waar het wel gewoon goed is en optijd komt! Ook nooit meer een antwoord op mijn mail gehad! SLECHTE SERVICE!!

Zeer slecht! Ik heb hier besteld en het was vies, het was oud, droog en niet te eten. Ook waren ze een deel vergeten van mijn bestelling. Later hebben ze contact opgenomen met een compensatie in ruil voor dat ik deze review zou verwijderen, ik ging akkoord en ben opgelicht. Very bad! I ordered here and it was dirty, it was old, dry and inedible. They also forgot part of my order. They later reached out offering compensation in exchange for me removing this review, I agreed and got scammed. If I deleted the review I would get the same order again for free, I deleted the review and my order was canceled.. scammers

Super tasty sushi and poke bowls. My favorite is the Poké ebi tempura. And your spicy sauce is really spicy. The customer service is also fantastic. I spoke to Mohamed on the phone and he helped me very well. Great business!

Delivery time extremely long. Ordered 2 hours ago and it still hasn't arrived. Do not order here 3 hours in advance, because if you have other plans in the evening you certainly cannot count on them being on time. I'm editing my review because the food has finally arrived. DO NOT ORDER HERE. The food isn't even super tasty. For the same money you can make more sushi / poke bowls yourself, in a shorter time and it will probably be just as tasty. Worthless, a waste of money and time.

Ordered sushi 2 hours ago. Haven't received anything yet and the tent is now closed. I have never experienced this before and I am really shocked! How can you fool and defraud your customers like this? There is not a hair on my head who would ever want to order here again. I do not recommend this tent to ANYONE. I would rather live on dry bread than order food from these scammers

Average sushi, poke bowl, etc. Received 2.5 hours after ordering (not the delivery service's fault) with a delivery estimate of 45 minutes. There are much better places to order sushi in Utrecht, but if you're not in a hurry or hungry, I might consider Tori.

You can see this place was beautiful when they first opened. However, when you walk in you immediately notice that it’s not been maintained well: many of the chairs look and are dirty and the benches are ripped. We mentioned this to the staff, one of whom said this was because the owner doesn’t want to invest in keeping the place looking fresh. The staff are not unfriendly, they are just not too interested. The food is ok, I’ve had better but also worse. I won’t be going here again. The place is not cheap, for that price one would expect more.

The food was very good. The service: business like, no smile or words,... just putting the ordered food on the table. Too busy? The app, to order the bites and drinks didn't work 100%.: we filled in 6 x a bite and the summ in the app said 5. This happened three times. The dessert possibilities: endless good.
