What we've come to expect from De Heeren was quite disappointing here on Christmas Day. The service was chaotic, sloppy, and certainly not professional enough. They apologized for the messy, chaotic, and unsatisfactory service. You don't say that! There was one waiter who remained calm and polite. And for a three-course "share dinner," the portions were quite small. We had to ask for fries with it. The meat and fish were also lukewarm to cold. We pointed this out to the chef, which irritated him, but it was resolved. When we ordered our drinks for the second time, we thought they'd forgotten us. That was until a tray with our order was placed on the bar, but the waiters couldn't remember which table it was for and put it behind the bar. Then it happened, and I was shocked: they started pouring the first wine glass back into the bottle. This is absolutely unacceptable! So I went to ask where our drinks were. It immediately became clear to them who they were for. This is bad!

We ate the Christmas menu yesterday. The menu was on the website. We thought you could choose from three main courses. But you got all three, and you had to share them. It was one meat and two fish courses. There were six of us, four of whom don't eat fish. The portions were very small, and we had to share them. If we'd known beforehand that you couldn't choose from the main courses, we certainly wouldn't have. There were no fries or vegetables, so for the price, it was very meager. Everything was served quickly, so we were essentially finished within an hour. Such a shame for a Christmas Eve dinner that should have been filling (including our stomachs 😉), which wasn't the case. We eat here regularly, and it's always very good, which is why we wanted to have Christmas dinner there, but what a disappointment!

Christmas is a time for giving, but after this year, we're giving up our tradition for the Heeren van Ambacht. Unlike previous years, this year's Christmas menu was a "shared dining" experience. When making our reservation, we specifically asked if the portions were "large enough to share." We were assured they would be, but the reality was different. With the amuse-bouche and appetizer, you could get away with it, but after the entrée, main course, and dessert, it felt more like a tasting. For a full Christmas dinner (with these portions), we felt like we should have had four more courses. After expressing our dissatisfaction, a free drink was the only offer. A shame, because you want more food, not more drinks. Apparently, the staff, from above, were also left empty-handed. We're not talking about price/quality here, but price/quantity. You felt bad for the company if you took a little more of a dish. The only thing truly shared that evening was dissatisfaction, as another table shared the same opinion about the size of the portions. We went home feeling unsatisfied for Christmas. On a positive note: the staff was, as usual, excellent and friendly, and the dishes tasted excellent.

The food was good. The service, however, was rather slow. Everything took a bit too long. It did improve later. The women's restroom was out of toilet paper, and one bowl was covered in feces. But the food made up for a lot.

Good food for a reasonable price

The staff works hard but is inexperienced when it comes to customer service. The price/quality ratio didn't meet our expectations. We mentioned that the tomato soup was very salty, but this wasn't taken seriously or addressed further. Heeren van Slydrecht, where we also went, was excellent, however; the quality of the food and service were much better.

We got married at Heeren van Ambacht and want to give you our sincere compliments! From the first contact until the wedding day itself, everything was fantastic. We were able to visit several times beforehand to discuss everything, and the communication was always smooth and pleasant. On the day itself, everything was taken care of down to the last detail. The team was always there for us and made sure we and our guests could simply enjoy themselves. We've also heard from our guests repeatedly how friendly and attentive the staff was. We are incredibly happy with how everything went and look back on our day with a big smile. Thank you Heeren van Ambacht, you truly gave us an unforgettable wedding!

It's a charming restaurant with good food. We had the chateaubriand, and it was wonderfully tender. The service was excellent. Very friendly and hardworking people.

On a very hot day the party room is very warm. The benches to sit on are very nice but for older people or people who have difficulty walking not very easy, something should be adjusted there.

It is a beautiful location and between cycling you can relax on the large terrace. They should do something about the combination of bittergarnituur. My wife is vegetarian and I am not, but the waiter resolutely said, no, we only have meat and this is not possible. Mini snacks cheese soufflé, vegetarian spring rolls and other types, it is not that difficult to combine with bitterballen, is it?

The name De Heeren van Ambacht promises something. I found it a bit disappointing. It was a warm sunny day and not all parasols were open, so that is a downside. The ice cream with 3 tiny scoops of ice cream for €7.50 (without whipped cream) I also found a bit pricey. And no cushions in the chairs, with shorts or a dress that wicker is really not that comfortable...

Service is good very friendly staff. But price/food quality so...so. Was better before. Chateaubriand a 35 p.p. should be better than few small slices of meat and a few veggies.

Lunch was fine, staff friendly, only half a mini syrup waffle with the coffee is really not possible! Don't add anything.

Samen even lekker eruit en genoten van een heerlijke avond bij De Heeren van Ambacht. We startten met een smaakvolle steak tartaar als voorgerecht. Als hoofdgerecht kozen we voor sliptong en zalm — beide perfect bereid en heerlijk op smaak. De sfeer in het restaurant is altijd gezellig en de uitstraling is stijlvol en uitnodigend. Zoals altijd was het eten voortreffelijk en de bediening vriendelijk en attent. Kortom: De Heeren van Ambacht is en blijft een echte aanrader voor een gezellige avond uit met heerlijk eten!

Tasty food, nice service. The only point of criticism is the crowds in the restaurant. Pleasant and quiet eating is difficult because there is a lot of noise, people try to drown each other out. Could also depend on the moment. The live music, great singer, made it more peaceful. So all in all highly recommended.

If you compare the price/quality, it is completely out of proportion! If you pay €80 for a chateau briand (2 people) you can expect that it will have no tendons and that it is certainly not dry. Hamburger (€24.50) was lukewarm. The young staff really works hard to serve everyone, but you notice that experience is lacking. The boss(?) followed along but without any empathy for the customers. We had to pay a significant amount, which was not worth it considering the quality

We had dinner here with a group of 8 people at Christmas. This was a total mistake. Upon arrival the door was still locked (while the opening time had already passed) and apparently there was a reason for this. The floors were still wet from mopping. This was not reported to us. As a result, a family member and I both had a very nasty fall. There was no apology or nothing from the staff. The next day I contacted the restaurant, where I received an apology over the phone and a new dinner was proposed by the lady on the phone. Unfortunately we never heard anything about it again!! I think that's a very bad thing! Should never have happened!! (The food was also very disappointing, especially the price/quality) Never again for us.

Food varied, good salmon, bad sandwich crab salad and some dry pulled chicken. With a party in the background it was very noisy. The serving ladies were friendly and helpful.

Food was fine, although a friend's hamburger was well done instead of rare. Service nice but not very professional. You don't pass plates diagonally across and past guests, you are not at home, and I was skipped when dessert was taken even though we were sitting in a row. But overall fine and worth repeating. The fact that you can eat a la carte with a group is also great.

Very noisy, had to wait too long for the food, at the start but also between courses. Drinks were replenished quickly and often enough. 1 lady in the service has to look for another job. This isn't for her. Unfriendly, blunt, pushing through the tables like a battering ram. Other ladies and gentlemen did their best!

We ate here on Boxing Day. Reserved this in October. We asked for a table downstairs, which was possible. Upon arrival we were given a table upstairs. (fortunately not with wooden folding chairs) 2 people ordered red wine, received a glass with a knife and a base of wine. According to the service, it only seemed that way because the glass was large. The starter was a small glass that was half filled with broth that was very salty. with the main course we were asked if we wanted fries or roseval potatoes. When checking the bill, it turns out that we had to pay 45 euros for those fries. We thought that was ridiculous. After some discussion back and forth, the 45 euros was taken from the account. Unfortunately, no satisfied customers.

We ate here on Boxing Day with 14 people. What was immediately noticeable was the reception. It took a really long time before anything to drink was offered. When we were complete we received a menu. It showed the different courses and the choice of 3 types of wine per course. I'm surprised that the cards were just picked up without discussing what we wanted to eat or what wine we preferred. After having a few drinks it was quite a long wait to give up the starter. It also took a long time before we got it served. That was quite messy. The wait staff was quite curt, not friendly at all. It remained that way. They came across as very unprofessional, reminiscent of people who had been picked straight off the street. There was absolutely no time or interest in you as a guest. My surprise reached its peak when I ordered wine from the menu. She didn't understand anything and the feedback also seemed to cause confusion. In the end I got something that looked like Riesling, not at all what I ordered. I haven't tried those other types of wine. The small glass of soup was most similar to cup a soup! Furthermore, there were a lot of tomatoes with each course. Apparently they were on sale. The band that was supposed to bring so-called Christmas spirit was also not credible, that aside. You would expect more from such a restaurant. I agree with many previous reviews and would not recommend it to others!

Came home from a rude awakening. What a huge mockery your Christmas menu is. Waste of money and ridiculously expensive!! If the food was excellent then it would be worth the money, but it wasn't. The cook(s) have no knowledge of cooking. Below par really. Not recommended sorry!

Had dinner with 9 people last night. Upon entering there was already confusion as to what the entrance was. We were received by a young girl (she tried her best) and she had to receive guests for 3 rooms. Upon entering the top floor, the temperature was not pleasant (downright chilly) there was a draft, this was due to the fact that the door could not be closed. After an hour we reported this and the person in charge came to our table to take stock. What struck us was his clothing...sweatpants with speakers underneath and no socks on. He indicated that he also felt the draft and it was decided to turn off the outside lighting so that the door could be closed. After this it became a bit more comfortable. We were there at 5:30 PM and there was an awful lot of time between the different courses. At 10 p.m. it was unanimously decided to leave without having the coffee. And while my 81-year-old parents were also there, the beach chairs are not convenient to place during a Christmas dinner. Finally, the quantity or quality is completely out of proportion to the price level. We spent €120 per person and what was also ridiculous was that we had to pay extra for the fries and undercooked potatoes. We will never come back here again, and another tip for you... take on the number of customers you can handle. The girls at the service ran like crazy and did their utmost. It would be nice for the owner to join us for an evening. We won't be there anymore

the scallops were perfectly cooked and kept all evening, the tamahawk steak for 2 people was simply the most terrible in my life, hard, rubbery, with veins, I didn't dare to swallow a piece of meat, I spit it out, the brownie dessert was delicious, there were a lot of people and not enough places, noisy, cafe or pub ok but not for a restaurant

Had dinner and lunch here a number of times. This was also the case last Saturday evening. Dinner with a group for an evening. The food is tasty, the service is friendly. But a pleasant evening with "the cozy living room feeling" as described on the website was hard to find. Unfortunately there was live music - in a not very large room - so we could hardly/couldn't hear each other. That's fine if there is live music, but this could at least have been communicated when making the reservation or mentioned on the website, so that we could have come for dinner on a different evening.. Being in the background would also have been okay, but the microphone was loud. In the end there was no conversation possible at the table and we left earlier than planned. We just had the coffee at home. All in all very unfortunate. A highly anticipated evening ended with a hangover and hundreds of euros less. Unfortunately this is the last time here for us.

Lekker gegeten in een mooi restaurant. De service was uitstekend en het eten was prima. Helaas waren de gerechten bij het serveren niet zo warm als ze hadden moeten zijn. De kaart was ook wat onbestendig met zowel de Franse keuken als een selectie aan sushi.

You won't see us there anymore. The food was excellent. Very tasty, absolutely. But we sat there blasting away the live music. Could no longer understand each other. Are you thinking of going out for a nice meal with your family? We didn't finish the dinner. We did not take the dessert and coffee round. We also had to wait a very long time for the food. We asked the bread twice beforehand where it was. By the way, more people left because of the noise we heard outside. Of course, it doesn't have to be a bad thing that there is live music, there are always people who appreciate it. But then add that on the website or say so when booking by telephone. We went for dinner last night and when you walk in, you immediately miss a welcome and someone taking your coat. Once inside we were approached by a boy who I knew was not the host. Once we got to our table, we had to tell ourselves that we had made a reservation through delicious.nl. We then got a Cava as an aperitif. I gave up my objections to the menu, no raw meat and no shellfish. Then my husband, who eats everything, gets a shellfish appetizer, delicious for him, but I got caprese salad....could have at least made it a chicken appetizer. Then a glass of mustard soup, which was so salty that you actually wanted a sandwich with it to soften it. Main course was red sea bass, but again there was little taste. But that didn't matter. But we had to ask for drinks or wine ourselves. Missed opportunity, you earn money on drinks!! The boy who spoke to us when we entered was a very sweet boy, but in the position for which he was appointed, he seemed very childish, we felt sorry for him. That boy either needs more guidance, or he shouldn't be in ministry. No, no repeat for us.

Ons zie je er niet meer. Het eten was voortreffelijk. Erg lekker, absoluut. Maar we zaten daar weg te tetteren van de live muziek. Konden elkaar niet meer verstaan. Denk je rustig gezellig met familie uit eten te gaan. We hebben het etentje dan ook niet afgemaakt. Het nagerecht en de koffie ronde hebben we niet genomen. Overigens gingen er meer mensen weg ivm de herrie hoorden we buiten. Dat er live muziek is hoeft natuurlijk niet erg te zijn, altijd mensen die dat wel waarderen. Maar zet dat dan op de website erbij of zeg dat als er telefonisch gereserveerd wordt. Dus ja het was erg jammer met een gepeperde dure nota van ruim 500 euro. Bittere nasmaak

We had dinner here on the return trip after an afternoon at Rotterdam Ahoy. Very friendly staff, tasty food and a good atmosphere. Definitely recommended!

Come here regularly and generally a nice place to sit. This applies to both indoors and outdoors. Service is good, but unfortunately I was here once around 5:00 PM. You can no longer order lunch and the dinner menu is not yet possible. That's a bit of a shame for such a good cause. The reason was that the staff would be on a break, but personally I don't think this should be at the expense of the service.

Wij hebben met 4 personen genoten van een 4 gangen all-in diner. Dit was inclusief aperitief, 4 complete gangen incl 4 glazen wijn en koffie/thee. Het eten was SUPER, de wijn heerlijk en de bediening heel aardig en klantvriendelijk. Het restaurant is zeer sfeervol, netjes en alles is heel goed verzorgd. Parkeren is naast het restaurant en gratis. Al met al een groot compliment voor dit restaurant

Took my parents for a fun evening with a delicious dinner at the Heeren van Ambacht. We had a wonderful welcome, the food was delicious and the service was top notch. Favorites of the evening were the Sushi, Duck, and Salmon. Asked for a wine tip and it was fantastic too! Fun fact…Theather Cascade is super close, so it's fun to combine! They get a big 10 from me

22 september 2024 werd ik 65jaar. Ik had 3 weken ervoor een High Tea besteld. In de week ervoor gemaild ter bevestiging en bevestiging gevraagd. Niet ontvangen. Dus vrijdag van te voren gebeld, ja was bekend. Zondag 22-09-2024 om 14.00 voor 12 personen. We komen zondag aan, geen gedekte tafel. Reservering bekend, geen spullen ingekocht. Chaos. Moest snel wat in elkaar geflanst worden. Werd geen drankje aangeboden. Na een half uur zelf maar even iemand gevraagd om vast wat thee neer te zetten. Na een uur kwamen de plateaus met lekkernijen, m.i. absoluut niet de normale zaken, vaker een high tea bij andere gedaan, met veel meer variatie, op de site wordt gezegd een overvloed aan thee en lekkernijen. De tweede ronde thee moesten we weer zelf om vragen en kwam weer laat. Toen ik ging betalen vroegen ze onbeschaamd, zonder enige vorm van excuus, het volle pond. Dat heb ik geweigerd, uiteindelijk twee personen korting bedongen. Nog steeds zonder excuus. De dochter van mijn vrouw schreef vervolgens een e-mail aan BonBon, de eigenaren. Die antwoordde binnen het uur, het kan dus wel. Ook hun latere uitleg laat geen enkel spoor van emotie zien, is zakelijk en kil. Ze boden nog wel, uit een soort van coulance, zo voelde het, een High Tea aan voor twee personen, geweigerd. Totaal gebrek aan inlevingsvermogen, wat een feestje had moeten zijn, werd er een met een domper. Tegen de bedrijfsleider zei ik nog, ik ben niet van de reviews dus dat zal ik je besparen, zijn reactie was als u een review wil schrijven dan moet u dat doen, ik ben anders opgevoed en heb geleerd, wat er ook gebeurd de klant is koning. Een antwoord had kunnen zijn dat waardeer ik. Na het antwoord van de directie, waarin gesuggereerd werd dat na een kwartier thee aangeboden werd, wat pertinent onwaar is, we hebben er om moeten vragen, en kwam veel later, Beide keren! We zijn totaal genegeerd. Een overvloed aan thee. Niet dus. De High Tea zelf kwam na een uur, en niet na een 1/2 uur. Het hele gezelschap van 12 personen was verbouwereerd over zoveel desinteresse en laksheid van het personeel. Totaal geen feeling voor de gebeurtenis, eerder paniek. Dus nu toch een review. Hopelijk leren ze ervan en krijgt personeel een gedegen opleiding in omgangsvormen en omgangsnormen. Laat het vooral een leermoment zijn, De directie suggereerde ook dat er meer dan voldoende was want er kwam retour. Ja omdat het een karig geheel van totaal aanbod was. Teveel hetzelfde. Weinig zoet, helemaal niks van chocolade. Als deze High Tea de standaard is bij de Heeren van Ambacht zou ik hem van de kaart afhalen.

I turned 65 on September 22, 2024. I had ordered a High Tea 3 weeks before. Emailed the week before for confirmation and requested confirmation. Not received. So I called in advance on Friday, yes it was known. Sunday September 22, 2024 at 2 p.m. for 12 people. We arrive on Sunday, no table set. Reservation known, no items purchased. Chaos. Had to throw something together quickly. No drink was offered. After half an hour I asked someone to put down some tea. After an hour the trays with delicacies arrived, in my opinion absolutely not the normal things, more often a high tea was done at others, with much more variety, the site says an abundance of tea and delicacies. We had to ask for the second round of tea ourselves and it arrived late again. When I went to pay, they unashamedly, without any excuse, asked for the full price. I refused and ultimately negotiated a discount for two people. Still without excuse. My wife's daughter then wrote an email to BonBon, the owners. He replied within the hour, so it is possible. Their later explanation also shows no trace of emotion, is matter-of-fact and cold. They did offer, out of a kind of leniency, it felt, a High Tea for two people, which was declined. Total lack of empathy, what should have been a party turned into a downer. I said to the manager, I'm not into reviews so I'll spare you that, his response was if you want to write a review then you should do so, I was raised differently and have learned that no matter what happens, the customer is king. An answer could have been that, I appreciate that. After the response from management, which suggested that tea was offered after fifteen minutes, which is patently untrue, we had to ask for it, and it came much later, both times! We have been completely ignored. An abundance of tea. Not so. The High Tea itself came after an hour, and not after 1/2 hour. The entire party of 12 people was astonished by so much disinterest and laxity on the part of the staff. No feeling for the event at all, more like panic. So now for a review. Hopefully they will learn from it and staff will receive thorough training in manners and standards of conduct. Above all, let it be a learning moment, The management also suggested that there was more than enough because there were returns. Yes, because it was a meager set of total offerings. Too much the same. Little sweet, no chocolate at all. If this High Tea is the standard at the Heeren van Ambacht, I would take it off the menu.

Two weeks ago we had a wonderful time on the beautiful terrace. I loved it. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and a very varied menu. The menu has also taken the little ones into consideration. Will come again soon to experience the atmosphere inside because it looked nice too.

We visited Heeren van Ambacht to have an extensive lunch with the two of us... the crowds weren't too bad... we opted for Mosselpan... well they can do something with that... we enjoyed it... .and after some patience a fantastic dessert...honestly!! Pineapple served in a special way...GO TO TRY...not bad!!

Very very expensive. Small portions of meat, but 40 euros for the main course alone. Chateau Briand, was actually only for 1 person, instead of 2 people, it was that sparse. And then you also have to order fries separately. Ordered 2x water bottles for 6 euros each, but the bottle was delivered lukewarm, we said something, we just refilled the refrigerator, we were told. We were really shocked by the bill. Small quantities but very expensive.

Wat een teleurstelling! Toen we aankwamen waren we nagenoeg de eerste in de zaak. Vervolgens nam de service per minuut af. Er werd geen nieuw drinken aangeboden en als extra service hebben we het hoofdgerecht nooit gekregen. 95 minuten na het voorgerecht nog steeds geen hoofdgerecht. De bediening is het nooit opgevallen dus uiteindelijk maar de rekening gevraagd. Als tegemoetkoming heeft de ober de hoofdgerechten maar van de rekening gehaald… wat een slechte service hier! Ze durfden geld te vragen voor een zeer slechte service… Jammer dat ze het niet meer aan kunnen. Een aantal jaren geleden was het nog goed, blijkbaar nieuwe eigenaren oid. Ik zal er nooit meer heengaan!

What a disappointment! When we arrived we were almost the first in the shop. Then the service per minute decreased. No new drinks were offered and as an extra service we never received the main course. 95 minutes after the starter still no main course. The wait staff never noticed, so we finally asked for the bill. As compensation, the waiter removed the main courses from the bill... what poor service here! They dared to ask for money for very poor service... After we paid and walked away, a girl from the service also accused us of walking away without paying! I think there is only 1 thief in the game here! Too bad they can't handle it anymore. A few years ago it was still good, apparently new owners or something. I will never go there again!

Prerequisite: We had a delicious meal with 8 people. A point for improvement is the service. We had to wait a very long time for everything. Despite the reservation, there was no table ready upon arrival, the first drink took a very long time (over 20 minutes), the menu did not arrive until after an hour and there was too much time between the different courses. We also sat looking at empty glasses for a very long time. The drink turnover could have been a lot higher for them and our experience a lot more positive.

It was very disappointment.. I thought it was a shame and a waste of money. Because, they have no standard of food here..! Week ago I was there.. food was very good, fresh... paid with a tip of 20 euros.. what should be done.. Made another reservation a few days later. The carpaccio was completely purple instead of red. Sent back, no apologies, no new plate.. Rib eye was absolutely far from weldone!! Also couldn't eat... Well paid off with a tip... because the girls do their best... I don't need a discount, free food or whatever... but a gesture would have been nice here... But apparently they don't mind that at all... Shame...

A gem in the village of Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht. With a lovely summer sun and a temperature of just above 20 degrees, we enjoyed a delicious lunch. Unfortunately we had to return a wine glass because it was not 100% clean, but that was (literally) the only blemish. Friendly and professional service and very good food!

A busy restaurant, maybe too busy and not enough people who can serve you. The food is so so. But the restaurant is decorated very nice.

Een lunch met 11 familieleden en vrienden. De bediening was werkelijk rampzalig! Nadat iedereen gearriveerd was hebben we cava besteld. Niet te drinken, in mijn glas was geen bubbel meer te bekennen. Waarschijnlijk al een week opengestaan. Daarna iedereen een 12-uurtje besteld en gelijk wijn, bier en water voor iedereen. De 12-uurtjes stonden binnen 10 minuten op tafel. Waar blijft de wijn??? De bar heeft het druk was het antwoord. Nog een paar keer iemand aangesproken: waar blijft de wijn? Enfin, nadat iedereen zijn 12-uurtje óp had gegeten kwam de wijn! Je zag het personeel voorbij lopen met bladen drank en eten naar tafels die veel later gearriveerd waren. Het was al met al te gênant voor woorden!! Geen idee wie de leidinggevende was, maar die persoon kunnen ze beter vervangen!

Sat upstairs. Looks cozy. Nice seating alcoves, but not very practical because only the two people on the outside can easily get out. And if there is something to do on stage, most people cannot see anything from the seating alcoves

Carpaccio starter was fine, but ribeye main course was very tough, looked like a pork chop. Reported to waitress to have this checked with the chef. Response: How tender the piece of meat is varies per cow. That's what we had to do. We won't come here anymore. I have just read with surprise the owner's response. Too bad he/she wasn't there. The team apparently passed on incorrect information because firstly, the piece of meat was not completely finished and we were not offered a new piece at all! Not even a glass of wine or coffee. Not taken seriously as a customer at all. It is true that 1 piece was delicious, but that a comment about the tough piece of meat was completely ignored is not okay. Could very easily have turned it into something positive. Very sorry

Tables not cleared. Service makes you wait for a very long time. A glass of tap water with wine is not possible If you want tapas at four o'clock you have to wait until five because the waiters start eating together

Weer eens bij een onderneming van de Heeren geweest, nu in Ambacht. Het hooghartig personeel is net zoals bij de andere Heeren alleen maar met elkaar bezig. Wanneer je op het terras zit moet je zelf eerst naar om een drankje te bestellen. Het personeel heeft het niet in de gaten dat en gasten op het terras zitten. Uiteindelijk moeten zij het van de gast hebben (zou je denken) wanneer je een personeelslid aanspreek kijken ze hooghartig van” hoe durf je het te vragen” Jammer van die mooie locaties.

Bij reserveren gevraagd of er nog asperges waren. Waren volgens zeggen voorradig . Bij aankomst waren de asperges uitverkocht. Alternatief aspergesoep. De carpacio was ok.

Didn't eat anything, but sat outside on the terrace with a drink. Nice location, nice garden, good service... Recommended.

Nice restaurant with good food (lunch), not very cheap though... and good service. We did find the bar table too high compared to the bar stool (with too little seat/filling) and the lamps in the bar area had little to no mood lighting, which made it difficult to eat comfortably and/or linger for another nightcap.

Brunch on Easter Sunday with the family. Atmosphere was good, food was fine. It was busy, we forgot our drinks or half of the drinks a number of times, a table with ten people might have been a bit difficult. But everything was resolved quickly. Nice place, good food, good service. Recommended !!

Samen uit eten, dus een tafeltje gevraagd op een rustig plekje binnen het restaurant, werd prima geregeld. Bediening vriendelijk, niet opdringerig en zeker behulpzaam. De gangen waren goed, maar niet overdreven bijzonder. Goed wijnadvies gehad en een prettige locatie. Al met al tevreden maar zeker geen uitblinker.

Very expensive restaurant where you get small portions and have to pay extra for fries and vegetables. Fries are not included on most menus. The ordered coke never arrived. The wrong coffee was given. When pouring the orange, there was spillage and not cleaned up. And while my wife was still eating, the other plates were already being taken away, which made my wife feel rushed. And when we said something about the food, they said, yes, that's our policy, but I'll pass it on. The fries were not tasty and the mayonnaise was not tasty either. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Response to the Lord's answer: It was indeed indicated yesterday that the sludge was too dry, that vegetables and fries were missing, etc. There was no response except that I went to see where the fries were and after asking 3 times we gave up. According to my son who spoke to one of your servers, you had forgotten our table, so that's why everything went the way it did. I think it is simply unacceptable if you charge such prices, we also expect service. Unfortunately, the reviews I read were true. Yesterday my 82 year old mother treated us to dinner on the anniversary of my father's birth, who recently passed away. We (group of 6 and granddaughter) were placed upstairs. That looked quite nice until the food was served. Confusion with the dishes. Fries that were missing and were requested 3 times. In the end I never received it so I just shared it all. The sludge tongue was too dry. There was no salad or fries with it...I had already finished my gentleman's burger (and I don't eat that much so you can imagine how small it is!) when my husband's was yet to arrive. Ordered a total of 3 burgers...all 3 raw on the inside. Fries looked like leftovers that had been re-fried. Not to mention clearing the table which seemed to take forever. Then we had ice cream and we liked it. Still had something tasty. My mother 350 euros and an illusion poorer. Incredible! Our 1st and last visit. You almost want to send Gordon Ramsey there. Control in the restaurant and take a look in the kitchen to see which chef is tinkering there. McDonald's would have been a better choice!!

Unfortunately, there is no vegetarian menu here for lunch or dinner. I wondered if this was there. The answer was that the “chef” doesn't feel like working here, which is a shame at this time. The wait for 2 wines took a very long time while there was no one in the restaurant. No second time for me.

Atmospheric restaurant, very cozy. Opinions were divided about the food; They liked the carpaccio but not with bacon, my daughter's meat was very raw, the loaded spicy fries with the burger were way too much, my sole was tasty but a lot (2 large pieces), I would have preferred 1 fish and tasty vegetables, fries were delicious. The one thing that really appeals to me is a pre-packed stroopwafel with coffee... couldn't this be a tasty bonbon, or a piece of homemade butter cake/cake/brownie or something like that?

What a disillusionment. My parents, in their 80s, thought they would organize a nice dinner for the whole family. Reserved for 10. Called one day in advance because we had not received confirmation. All would be fine though. We don't arrive at a table for 10 but for 7. So everyone has to settle in. We receive 2 white wine glasses with brown deposits. Probably dirty dishwasher and not dried. But the saddest part of all this was that we could only order from the lunch menu and nothing from the sushi or starters/main courses. Cause: delivery slightly later than planned. You sit there with everyone all dressed up. Too large a group to simply make a reservation elsewhere in another restaurant. Mismanagement. Owner is nowhere to be seen. At school they always said a 1 for the effort. Even that wasn't worth it. Well maybe for the ambiance. Shameful.

Lekker ontspannen. De carpaccio omelet is een echte aanrader

Goed en lekker eten! Waren met een groep van 14 maar hebben bijna 2 uur gewacht op het voorgerecht. Dat is echt te lang. Het was druk maar we hadden maanden van te voren gereserveerd. Dus het eten was prima, maar de wachttijd niet!
