Royal Doner Ambacht in Wijk 01 Centrum

I'm someone who's always honest and really loves Turkish pizzas and kapsalons. But I would absolutely NEVER eat at this place again. The staff seems nice at first glance, but don't be fooled. Regarding the quality of the food, the intimidation tactics, and the hygiene, this place is also absolutely not recommended. First of all, there were flies everywhere. Now, that can happen, but it also says something about the hygiene. Because at other restaurants I go to, I never see flies, especially not four at a time. Secondly, the quality of the food. The vegetables were fresh, but I couldn't say the same about the fries and döner meat. They tasted like they came straight from a bag. I didn't see a döner spit either, so I'm assuming that's the case. The kapsalon was 75% fries, and the Turkish pizza was just a frozen pizza. Some people might like it that way, but I don't. The kapsalon was subpar compared to what I'm used to, and it was also very expensive. Thirdly, the responses I received from the owners for the honest reviews I left. The first time I ate here, one of the owners said to me, "Please leave a 5-star review, otherwise I'll know where to find you." Of course, it was half-joking, but I felt absolutely uncomfortable with that comment. I was working at the next-door branch at the time. In my opinion, this is absolutely not an appropriate way to solicit more reviews. Intimidation techniques should NEVER be used to solicit more reviews. So, I left a 5-star review against my will. I only thought the Turkish pizza deserved 3 stars, but I didn't want to be questioned. I value my privacy. Today I went here for the second time because my friend and I were hungry. I'd already mentioned that I didn't like it (low-quality kapsalon, poor hygiene). So I left a review. So, I'm being confronted about my honest review and being called a bully. I don't benefit from being confronted when I'm at work, and besides, this is a free country, so I can decide for myself what I say. I ended up deleting the review so they'd leave me alone. I wasn't quite threatened, but I immediately felt unsafe. My friend was also ridiculed to my face for his review, even though it's perfectly normal to leave an honest review after eating. That's why I'm typing this now, because people deserve to know what they're getting into when they come here.

The staff were friendly, but the food wasn't as good because it was pre-made. The environment is also a bit unusual. Also, the guy needs to wipe his ass; there was a poop stain there.

Very nice people, but of course it's all about the food. Turkish pizzas came from the freezer and the döner came from a container while the rotating thing was off so no idea how they prepare that. In short, nothing was fresh and it was also lukewarm. Very unfortunate.

I find it really incomprehensible that for almost €50,- plus tip I didn't even get my food properly. I had asked for spaghetti with the pasta but got penne. Pasta was way too dry and had to quickly cook it further with cream and season it. You put the burger in the bag where the cold drinks are. So I also got a cold burger in a half open box. Incomprehensible. I won't order here anymore. You can't be reached by phone either.

Not good service/quality. Not recommended

Food arrived an hour late. The meat was burnt and the fries were overcooked and old. It was downright disgusting to say something positive: the food was hot.

We received the wrong order an hour later, we were also no longer contacted by the company in the hour that we were supposed to expect our food, we were given the stupid excuse that we had driven wrongly.

Taste was good but temperature was not. My food was not warm. Too bad we will not do it again.

The burgers they sell are doing well. Fries are also tasty.

Best döner craft store, highly recommended!

Had a super tasty hamburger at Royal Doner Craft, everything was on time and wonderfully warm, lovely delivery person, everything was neat and clean, super top restaurant, I will eat here more often.

The order for collection had not gone through. Would be delivered half an hour later. After 45 minutes I was contacted again. Sorry I ran out of meat but it will be there within 15 minutes. Called again after an hour and yes another 5 minutes and yes it is very busy. This was not on location at 12 o'clock, it had died out. Food was over an hour and fifteen minutes late. and then you get like (well done 3 cans of coke). so PLEASE NEVER have it delivered, it's really a drama.

Heb eten gehaald voor 1 pers lams shoarma schotel , Yunus je bent een top kok alleen jammer voor je schort die droeg je niet maar verder was het TOP lekker eten.

Lekkere eten en fijne bediening en stap gelijk effe bij de kapper binnen.... Beter kan je het niet hebben...

16,50 Euro dafür? Keine Soße, kaltes Essen. Danke für nichts :((((

Erg lekker en vers, goede kwaliteit!

Waar ik voorheen bij verschillende restaurants döner bestelde, bestel ik nu enkel nog maar bij Royal Döner. Altijd lekker eten! Op een enkele keer ging het fout met de bestelling, maar is dat goed opgelost. Favoriet bij ons zijn de Turkse pizza's en de kapsalon. Bezorger is ook altijd erg vriendelijk!

Het is heerlijk ik ben de nichtje van de eigenaar. En het is super lekker die shwarma is ook leekker en die lams 😋😋😋 ik geef het een 5

Een van beste doner zaak waar ik ooit heb gegeten

Het eten was hartstikke lekker heerlijke turkse pizza en de kofte was om je vingers bij op te eten. Alleen krijg je er veel te weinig saus bij waar je extra voor moet betalen, ook had er iets meer rijst bij gemogen.

Op tijd en goed verzorgd en erg smakelijk

Heerlijk genieten van de Turkse keuken. Het eten was vers en van uitstekende kwaliteit. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.
