* It's funny that the franchisee mentioned in our review that he'd be happy to resolve the matter with us if we'd emailed them. We did so. Now, more than two weeks later, we still haven't received a single response. So don't fall for it. ----------------------------------------------------------- What started out as a pleasant evening was completely ruined by the manager when he felt the need to give us a rude slur when we needed some help ordering desserts. It was busy, and it's understandable that you have to wait a bit longer for your food. However, the later it got, the more staff went home, and the longer it took for our dishes to arrive. When we finally wanted to order some desserts and needed some help because the system was crashing, the manager, after receiving a rude remark from us, felt the need to laugh at us as we got up to leave. We've honestly never been treated so rudely as at Heinde Leerdam, and we won't be back. Perhaps if the manager takes a communication course, he will understand that this is not how you treat customers.

This is such a great little place. Excellent food and service that goes above and beyond.

Last night, January 24, 2024, I ate there for the first time. I definitely recommend it. Everything was truly excellent, especially the serving. You get your entire order (for 3 people) on the table right away. It's truly unique. We'll definitely be back!

I've eaten here many times and it's always fantastic. The menu changes regularly, so there's always a huge selection. The service is fast and friendly. Highly recommended!

We didn't find the food quality good, just adequate. The service was also poor. Several dishes were missing from the order. We were unlucky enough to have a table between the bar and the entrance, directly across from the restrooms. It was our first, but definitely our last, time at Heinde.

The food is delicious. The service is fast, perfect, and friendly. The atmosphere is a bit lacking because the tables are very close together and therefore noisy. I had to speak loudly to hear each other.

The food and service were excellent. Just too many people inside, which made it very noisy. The biggest drawback, in my opinion, was the climate control. It was very warm inside, and the CO2 levels were high, which made everyone tired, etc. Otherwise, the food was excellent.

I'm in a wheelchair and we were promised a seat near the accessible toilet... well, nothing of the sort. I had to walk through the entire restaurant; I almost had to carry flags because everyone was looking at me. They didn't make it up the hill, and everyone was looking, and only one woman asked if she could help. It was very busy, and I couldn't hear my tablemates, which was very annoying. Going home was awful; people had to get up so I could pass. I shouldn't have worried because they knew that could happen, but I hadn't been told anything, and I felt pretty bad about it. The food was fine, but not exactly a feather in my cap. Nicely put, right? It'll be a while before I eat here again 😞

It took a long time to get our food. Several things were cold! The taste was fine, though. The app often didn't work and crashed. And it's quite annoying having to log in again and again. The table wasn't cleared regularly. In the sense that it took a long time. The staff was friendly!

Overall decent food, some "warm dishes" arrived on our table on the cold side. French onion soup tasted like water and staff was helpful but didn't apear friendly. Decent dinner experience, but would pick some other establishment next time im in town.

The food was delicious! Ordering through the app wasn't quite as easy; we had to rescan the QR code every time. The dining area was packed with tables, which didn't exactly enhance the atmosphere. But all in all, we had a lovely evening. The service was friendly and helpful.

The restaurant felt more crowded than it should have been. The emergency exit was blocked by tables. It's very difficult to access for a wheelchair.

Back to Heinde after months, but I think we could have come up with a better birthday present for the girls. The staff was chaotic; there was clearly no leadership. Glasses regularly fell in the kitchen, which didn't exactly help the dishes, which were often cold and of poor quality. Drinks were taken, but often not delivered. In the end, I had to wait an hour for my cappuccino because they were supposedly short-staffed. Sorry, but I don't care. Plan your reservations better and deliver the quality they've come to expect. Unfortunately, they're now blacklisted and attract a lot of negative word of mouth.

Never had such bad service. After 1.5 hours, five of our group members still hadn't eaten and had asked for a glass of wine four times. And then the manager arrived, a complete incompetent person, who said he couldn't do anything about it because there were 170 people inside. He thought we were attacking his staff. Well, never believe me; we even said we'd start over and didn't want a conflict. The tuna we ordered twice still had to arrive. 🙈 However, the manager continued to reproach us. There were 19 of us for a special celebration. This restaurant should be visited with small groups, so it can go smoothly. The dishes were generally good. The QR code didn't work, that was the biggest problem. I'm a positive person and I don't like negative communication at all, but I really hope you learn from this.

The four of us dined here. The concept is also used in other restaurants, and it's fun to be able to sample so many dishes. The service is quick and friendly. However, the wait for our order did get longer as the evening progressed. Reservations are essential, otherwise you won't be able to get a table.

Cozy restaurant. Delicious tapas. You can order as often as you like. Friendly staff. Always busy. I think you really need to make a reservation two months in advance. Drinks are included. It's right next to Leerdam station, so you can easily get there by train.

My first time at Heinde was very disappointing. The wait for the dishes was long, even though the restaurant wasn't full. The dishes were either left out of the refrigerator for too long, so they either stuck to the plate or were too soft. Or they were heated up in the oven or microwave. The layout was nice, though, and the location was pleasant. The staff were also friendly.

Top 👍 Beautiful location, good food, and friendly staff. We've been coming to Heinde for a while, but in our hometown. We're on vacation nearby now, so we ate here. Lovely terrace, nice and quiet. Pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes and the drinks. Apparently, there's quite a bit of variation between locations. The dishes are really well-seasoned and the right temperature. It's also nice that the children's rate was charged immediately upon payment; it doesn't work that well at every location. Keep up the good work 👍

Really great. I highly recommend it. The ordering system is fantastic. The food is absolutely fantastic.

Both its sister restaurant and La Cubanita have roughly the same concept, but Heinde is hands down the best. Drinks are included, which makes it very pleasant. They never once made us feel like they wanted us to leave, which is something other restaurants do after an hour and a half. Definitely recommended.

Pleasant atmosphere, nicely decorated. Lots of choices on the menu, including vegetarian options. Friendly service. Good value for money. Beautiful location in Leerdam's old station. While you're eating, you can watch various trains arrive and depart. Free parking is available near the restaurant.

What a wonderful evening we had, we celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary and enjoyed it a top restaurant, great service, nice atmosphere and great food, highly recommended, thanks especially from the Hof

The desserts are delicious. The food is good. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is friendly.

Bijzonder matige gelegenheid. Opgewarmde meuk uit de magnetron, wat ze zelf ook toegeven. “Het wordt zo aangeleverd” aldus de bediening. Vanzelfsprekend werd er gevraagd of we iets wilde drinken maar helaas… Dat bleef to 2x toe uit. Toch maar een andere keuze maken de volgende keer.

Reserved for 3 people. We got an uninviting table diagonally across from the door in the walkway. Drafty and very uninviting. We spoke to someone about it, but they didn't do anything about it. Food not really special. Some dishes were very tasty, but the rice with the sushi was grainy and dry. The cheese and toast with fried mushrooms were forgotten. The only pus point was that the drinks were included in the price. We won't be going back here anytime soon.

Nice restaurant where you can eat and drink as much as you want. You can order two dishes per round. They come by for drinks. Sometimes it takes quite a while before you receive your ordered round, but usually the entire table gets everything at once, which is fine. The restaurant is located in an old station building, with high ceilings. This makes it very noisy inside. The food is usually tasty but often not really hot. Parking used to be possible opposite, but that is no longer allowed. You can park a little further in the large parking lot of the train station.

Clearly stated in advance that three people eat gluten-free. Unfortunately, croutons were found in a salad, of which I had already taken a few bites before I noticed. The staff responded kindly and correctly, and immediately offered to make a new salad, which we really appreciated. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and relaxed. What a super beautiful, atmospheric restaurant! The hosts are friendly and approachable. They are very hospitable and bring everything with a cheerful note. Where people also respond arrogantly with words, well then you just sit there. Apologies. . . no, why would the person do that, it's all so well organised. At this Far and Far, Leerdam, they will not see me or members of my company again. It is a pity that agreements are not kept and certainly not that this is not indicated when you come to make a reservation that it is not possible.

Heinde located in an old station building. In other words, a high space. The disadvantage is a lot of echo and therefore a bit noisy, but certainly not annoying. The furnishings have been preserved and are therefore beautiful and conducive to atmosphere. Ordering is done via your phone and a QR code and works fine. Everything was also brought to the table quickly and we were asked more than enough times if something could be poured. The only point of criticism here is that the clearing process occasionally went wrong due to the crowds, so you still had to eat with the crockery from the previous round(s) in front of you. And then the food: delicious and sufficient. Our group tried almost all the snacks on the menu and did not hear any criticism. TOP! Finally: Heinde Leerdam is definitely worth the trip from outside Leerdam. So for us it doesn't stop at this first visit.

Very disappointing after previous successful experience. Many dishes are served too cold, inadequate customer treatment when dishes are not delivered. Slippery kibbeling, a raw steak full of sinews, many dishes that do not have the quality of before, a lot of noise and too many tables for the available space. Of course, you cannot expect haute cuisine for 37.50 (42.50 on weekends), that is clear. However, the dishes are very diverse and the quality varies from acceptable to excellent. At the Leerdam branch, the organization ran like clockwork, you order via the app and drinks are taken by the employees and served very quickly. For a small additional charge you can also order a drink or a liqueur. So: If you have a birthday, anniversary or dinner with colleagues, don't hesitate to go here.
