La Stancia Leerdam The short version: delicious food and very friendly staff. The long version: A restaurant with authentic Argentinian cuisine. Grilled meat, expertly prepared on a wood-fired grill. And very importantly: the plates are perfectly heated! Where else can you find this? Just try it. It's so delicious that it's impossible to explain. The side dishes are also excellent and the portions are more than ample. A true family business. They proudly tell you about the locations and who in the family does what in the business. Hospitable and customer-friendly. If there's one criticism: put up some excellent speakers in such a good restaurant. They really enhance the atmosphere.

We had a delicious meal, the spare ribs were excellent. This time I had a sirloin steak and was pleasantly surprised. Portions were generous, and the price was reasonable. The service could be a bit more cheerful; we couldn't quite get a handle on them.

I've lived in Culemborg for 11 years now, but I only found out about this wonderful restaurant two years ago. The food is truly excellent, and the service is very friendly and kind. Recommended: the ribeye and the tournedos. I love going there, and I regret not having discovered it sooner.

The food is fantastic, the staff is friendly, but it does take a while for the order to arrive. We waited an hour, and then we finally asked where it was. It was quick. We were there during peak hours, and you can also pick it up.

Oh, La Stancia. What could have been. It started so well, being greated by a friendly server, immediately being shown to a table, and having a nice, cold beer brought over. The premises were very nice, too - wooden beams, candles on the tables, latin music in the background. Not too full, on a Wednesday evening, as expected. Having ordered the entrecote, food arrived promptly. So far, a perfect 10/10. But, hang on... aren't the vegetables quite, well, bland? And come to think of it, soggy - watery, even? And, even worse... why does the steak feel so... gelatinous in texture? A steak is really a piece of muscle, with some fat, it should feel firm, almost have a slight bouncyness to its character. This felt more like jelly. How odd. And what is this? It seems to be excreting juices at an alarming rate! Soon, it is sat there limply on my plate, in a pool of its own run-off, like my mate's new puppy who isn't yet quite potty trained. But less cute. Dear reader, I almost wish you could have been there to look into my eyes as the illusion shattered. The look on my face, it must have been priceless. The meat had clearly been frozen, and recently thawed. I mentioned this fact to the server after my meal, my countenance grim. And I do not blame them, poor young thing, defending their employer, for telling me "yes of course, so it doesn't go bad". If nothing else, I cannot fault their honesty! Now, I don't know about you, dear reader, but I am not in the habit of going to restaurants, paying 30 euros for a steak that "has not gone bad". I accept paying a premium, not only for the pleasure of being served, but in no small part to enjoy a culinary experience, a prime cut of meat (other foodstuffs are available), fresh, and cooked to perfection. If I wanted a piece of frozen meat, I would have stayed home and cooked it myself. Or laid next to my wife in the winter. So where does this leave us? A steak restaurant that is happy to charge 30 euros for a frozen cut of meat - indeed, views this as a matter of course. Now, if this is something you agree with, dear reader, far be it for me to tell you to spend your increasingly hard earned currency elsewhere. Enjoy your soggy, bland, meat - which, to be fair, was at least cooked to my specifications. Darling La Stancia. Oh, what could have been. I won't say the evening was a complete disaster. There is plenty good here. We will always have the atmosphere, the drinks, the (admittedly apologist, but otherwise excellent) waitstaff. I just wish you had the decency to be embarrassed about serving frozen food. Oh, well. At least the chips were smashing.

We had dinner here together tonight. We're on vacation, so we looked online to see what restaurants are nearby. This place was great; the food was delicious, and they were very accommodating to my allergies. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and above all, the meat was delicious. It's a shame we don't live nearby, otherwise we would definitely come here more often.

The meat was wonderfully tender and flavorful, perfectly prepared. The service deserves a big compliment: incredibly friendly, hospitable, and attentive to the guests. You immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and cozy, making you feel right at home. Five stars aren't enough for a restaurant with such lovely people and such fantastic quality. Were they the best spare ribs of my life? No (they would have had to fall off the bone more for that). But they were really delicious spare ribs, and the truffle fries that came with them were delicious, too. And the service was really great.

A somewhat dark restaurant where the spareribs are beautifully prepared over the flames. Unlimited, but also available as an appetizer. What a great idea.

What a great time we had yesterday! We celebrated a birthday and the ladies from the service immediately made it a party. The birthday girl got fireworks and the whole restaurant sang for her. The food was delicious, especially the steaks, the bavette and the squid. The children were also thought of, the ladies were very sweet. We will definitely come back here! 🥳

Perfect piece of meat... nicely presented... just unbelievable that the sauces come from a packet! The waitress herself said that when we complained about the taste of the mushroom sauce! Ridiculous and a waste for that price.

Have eaten here so many times in the past. Recently went to eat spareribs again but it was disappointing. The delicious sweet spareribs of the past were no longer available, unfortunately.

Today I got 3x unlimited spare ribs, normally very good, but today 6 of the 9 ribs were burned black and unedible.

If you eat unlimited spareribs, the first two will be wonderfully tender and juicy. Then you get spare ribs that are half cooked and have no taste. I hear this from more people, it's a shame!!!!!

Gegeten met 4 personen. Geen vlotte bediening. Hebben zeker een half uur gezeten voordat we überhaupt ons eerste drankje konden bestellen. Burrata salade was een keiharde bol, nog harder dan gewone mozzarella. Deze teruggestuurd aan verbaasd personeel. Ossenhaas niet zo mals als je mag verwachten en de gamba's waren pap aan de binnenzijde... Door de trage bediening 4 uur binnen gezeten voor 2 gangen. Een aanfluiting. Jammer.

Kom hier al 30 jaar inmiddels. Ik ben steeds weer verbaasd over de continuïteit van de kwaliteit. Die is altijd goed en dr spareribs....Tja, de marinade is to die for!! Lekkere frietjes en verse salade. Die miste ik deze reis bij mn schotel trouwens. Vergeten, kan gebeuren. De eigenaar en vooral ook zijn vrouw en nicht zijn zo lief, echt hartverwarmend!

Full evening program which is a shame...it all took a very long time.....because the food is excellent....the music was also very loud which made conversation at the table difficult...and of all the birthday moments, not to mention nice that there was something to it is being done but it was all very noisy..

The restaurant has been exactly the same for 25 years, but the extractor hood has been improved! Atmosphere is fine, old but nice. Food is way too much and covered in sauce but the service is fast!

The ribs are no longer worth 5 stars. I come here on average twice a year to pick up. We all notice that it is less tender than in recent years. I don't know what's causing it, but please keep an eye on it. Taste is good but only with enough sauce on top.

Friendly staff. But the food was disappointing, the melon with ham salad had way too much dressing on it, which is not what it should be. And I ordered meat but it wasn't the right one. If something has run out, tell me then I could have ordered something else and not just given some. Also had a table near the toilette, they should put a door in front of it, which is not nice when you look at it yuck!

Heerlijk gegeten. Alleen het ijs met nepslagroom vond ik een aanfluiting. De bediening was vriendelijk en goed. Als het ijs met slagroom beter was geweest zeker 5 sterren.

The food was great. I ordered ribs (item 42), my brother ordered a steak, and the couple who invited us, Bert, ordered ribs and his wife ordered a steak. A few beers, wine; then a delicious dessert and finally Irish coffee. At first we were served by a very nice, beautiful waitress in black jeans, I fell in love with her, when I left she stood behind the bar and waved at me. Reservation of table number 8. Jedzenie rewelacyjne .Zamówiłem żeberka (pozycja 42),brat steka, a małżeństwo co Nas zaprosiło Bert żeberka a jego żona steka. Kilka piw, wino; następnie pyszny deser a na koniec kawa po irlandzku. After początku obsługiwała Nas bardzo miła ładna waiterka w czarnych jeansach zakochałem się w Niej, jak wychodziłem stała za barem i Mi machała. Rezerwacja stolik number 8.

Don't eat here with a larger group. We are used to waiting a while since you are eating with a lot of people. But if everything else was okay, I wouldn't have had a problem with that. The waiter walked around wearing a Nike cap and asked me for 50 cents "as a joke" when I asked if this was the toilet, while he was still buttoning his pants & putting on his apron. Main course took more than 1.5 hours to arrive & then she mixed up all the medium and well done steaks. As a result, 2 people had to wait an extra fifteen minutes. When paying, they indicated that we should have said that we wanted the main course right after the starter. They said that large groups often want time to talk and therefore waited on purpose. The food was otherwise fine, just not for us anymore.

Na 14 jaar weer terug bij La Stancia vanwege een verhuizing. We hadden de onbeperkte spareribs en ik kan met trots zeggen dat dit nog steeds ons nummer 1 spareribs restaurant is! Met afstand!

Delicious starter of lettuce with squid rings, catfish fillet with vegetables and baked potato. Nice cup of coffee. Fine. Friendly waitresses, quick and pleasant.

Geweldig restaurant voor het eerst gaan eten echt een aanrader vriendelijke mensen pluim aan de kok en de eigenaar ze laten je echt thuis voelen.

Begin liep de bediening wat stroef en kortaf later werd het prettiger. Met name is de carpaccio en de spareribs van goede kwaliteit. Er hangt jammer genoeg een nare rioollucht in het restaurant.

Echt teleurstellend, dat eten. Vooral de ribs. Vieze smaak, geen lekkere marinade. Steak kreeg je haast niet weg. Ossehaas prima. Groentes en aardappels lauw. Warme en koude sausjes echt lekker. Jammer, had er veel van verwacht. Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding = echt niet oké.

Om de héérlijke spareribs te eten . Goede sfeer en zéér vriendelijke mensen. De spareribs zijn altijd de lekkerste die ik ooit gegeten heb

Warm en knus ambiance. We mochten onze eigen plek uitzoeken wat het net weer wat speelser maakt. Waar zit je het beste? Dame was bijzonder vriendelijk en wij werden snel en goed bediend. Frietjes waren in goede olie gebakken en de spareribs vielen uiteen in de mond. Die waren erg lekker. Van mij zou de muziek wat harder mogen. That's it!

Heel leuk restaurant en vriendelijke bediening. Centraal gelegen in het dorp direct naast een parkeerplaats. Ze hebben zeer lekkere spareribs. Je krijgt 2 hele ribs voor een normale portie. Ze zijn goed gemarineerd met een lekkere bbq saus erover.
