Not up to the level I expected but still a nice place with good service. We had the 4 course menu - salmon sashimi, eggplant soup, venison and the desert. The sashimi lacked acidity, the beet marinade made it lose the salmon taste and it was a bit blend. The soup tasted good and can be excellent with some smoke. Venison was soft and tasty however there was too much sweetness on the plate, I would go for some umami flavor next to it. The sides were just fine. The desert was just too sweet for my taste, only had the honeycomb. Service was great. Overall OK experience.

Really lovely spot to discover. Delightfully scenic view and terrace, tastefully elegant interior and charming service. Only stopped by for a cheeky bite on a sunny afternoon. We went for a good selection of small dishes and a drink to go with it. Oysters were fresh and clean. Delicious! Steak tartare was excellent, although I thought the balance was just a little bit off. Personally, I thought it could have been a touch thinner (flatter and wider) so that there was slightly more rosti to meat. Rosti also needed a bit more crunch, maybe a sprinkle of crisped potato in there between layers. Tartare was nicely seasoned but a little too acidic for my taste. The moussaka bitterballen was a big miss for me though. Again, the balance/ratio was way off. The breading seems to take up most of the ball making it quite bland, and for that price to only have 2 balls is a bit stingey. At least have bigger bitterballen. You don't taste any eggplant inside, just a kind of melted meatball. The bechemel was a bit cold so had a very paste-like texture. The whole dish needed a little bit of seasoning/salt on top cos it was very bland for such an ambitious dish. Padron peppers were okay. Good quality and at least salted, but just your standard pimentos. Really needs a bit of flair, just a touch of creativity. Boy am I glad I asked for bread and butter, because the bun was delicious. Nice and fragrant, really incredible bread and the homemade compound butter was sublime. Drink selection wasn't too exciting but had everything you would expect. Service was friendly, attentive and professional. One error was a little "dirt" that the waiter noticed on the plate as they were placing it on the table. Instead of replacing the plate or cleaning it away from the table, the server use their finger to flick off the dirt right there in front of us. Not the most hygienic practice. Would be happy to return as there were a few main course dishes that had already caught my eye. But do see some inconsistencies that would make for a tip top experience.

Very nice surprise for food and service. I was there during private party but I can tell that food was quite good and with a good selection of wine. Eggplant soup with truffles was amazing , duck was nice I prefer to have more side dish not just decoration and desert was nice as well.

We went for a bit of a memory, a kind of nostalgia, because we used to come often... Unfortunately, it's now a reason we won't be returning. Booking didn't go well. I chose a date and time, and then got the available options. The waterfront was also included. I thought it was great, because the last time we were there, our little one was with us. There were a lot of stories about booking for groups, etc., but I didn't think too much about it. After all, I had specified the number of people, and the booking options were adjusted to what I had entered. The waterfront was one of them. Great! (I thought) I made a reservation for 5:00 PM, okay, a bit early for us, but we had plans after dinner, so we had plenty of time without the annoying rush. Having to pay two deposits wasn't unusual, so I was looking forward to it. Once I arrived, I noticed that the waterfront looked very dark. I suggested we just pop into Het Bosch first, and then we'll see what happens. We were also a bit early because the traffic was nice for once. Perfect, we could have a drink and a nice chat. Two other people got lost on the terrace, but there was still a breeze and therefore a bit chilly, so let's sit inside. We were greeted by an older man, told him our reservation was for 5:00 PM, etc., and we were a bit early. "No problem, come sit down, and I'll take your coats." Well, uhm, I start cautiously, "We have a reservation for the waterfront." "That's absolutely impossible, it's closed and only for large groups. You can show me, it's closed." Okay, we believe you. Too bad, but we won't let that ruin the evening. (Maybe an email or something from you guys that you've made a reservation for the waterfront, but that's not possible because... I mean, I've made a reservation for VTV, which would be plenty of time anyway.) We were escorted to our table, explained that we still had a show to attend and that's why we'd made an early reservation, and that we wanted to leave around 7:00 PM. "Have a seat, no problem, can I get you something to drink?" Well, a bubbly then... the gentleman returned with our drinks and a ticket. "Yes, the kitchen doesn't open until 5:00 PM, but they could probably make something small." Fine, let's have a look. Then he arrived with a sandwich. "Here's something to put in your mouth, I bet." I could already see the face on the other side of the table grimacing. I also thought, "What to put in your mouth??? We're not 8, are we? What a strange way to communicate. Misplaced Amsterdam freedom or something? But... let it go, we're just out for the evening. We'd like an oyster then, 2 people. "Ohhh that should work out" comes back with our oysters, we indicate that we also know what we want. "Oh, but the kitchen doesn't open until 6:00 PM. Huh, wasn't it just 5:00 PM? Shit, so no starter, just a main course and, if we have enough time, dessert. The bread basket is brought back; the table was supposed to be cleared of crumbs, but then it takes 30 minutes. We're not even asked if we'd like a drink. The main course was supposed to be served between 6:00 PM and 6:10 PM, but by then more people had to leave on time, so the kitchen could start earlier. We opted for the half lobster, but unfortunately, it wasn't cooked quite right. Still time for dessert. When we asked about the Baileys profiteroles, the answer was "mostly chocolate"—not exactly a recommendation. Being stubborn as we are, we ordered anyway, and there was nothing wrong with it. A quick cup of coffee afterward... Don't order coffee with milk and sugar, because then they'll decide for you how much milk you get in your coffee. No jug or anything beside it. Just put it in. Unfortunately, nothing the whole evening. I finished mentioning that we were there for my husband's birthday. No congratulations yet, nothing. We even hung up our long coats on the low coat rack. Great, out the door nice and dirty again. Put Grandpa behind the geraniums, because this isn't exactly a good look for your business.

Last Saturday night we were in Amsterdam and were craving some good food. After a bit of searching, we found Het Bosch. Parking was free. Great. Once inside, we found a lovely place, beautifully decorated, with a super cool patio and a beautiful view. Great. We didn't feel like going all out, so we just ordered a ribeye. That's for two people. It was truly delicious. The staff politely pointed out that a ribeye like that takes about half an hour to prepare. Very polite. Great. Oh yes, and last but not least, the coffee was delicious. Great. We'll definitely be back.

Wow! I can't help but start with "wow." You arrive at a beautiful waterfront location, instantly sensing a serene sense of peace and tranquility, and you know this is going to be a wonderful evening. Upon arrival, we received an incredibly warm welcome, and within minutes, our aperitif—a delicious champagne—was on the table. You can choose to be surprised by the chef or order à la carte, which is what we did. Every dish we received was perfectly prepared with the perfect flavors, exactly as you expect when you order. Definitely a Michelin-starred menu, and I recommend everyone to eat here.

We booked this restaurant through Amex Experience. It's a beautiful location on the Nieuwe Meer lake. The menu was well-presented. We had a wonderful meal for two with delicious bubbles. Highly recommended; everything is fresh in the open kitchen with a view of everything. The chefs are meticulous and create masterpieces.

Beautiful location on the water! We had drinks outside first, which was fantastic in nice weather. The service was good, but not overly enthusiastic or welcoming. However, they were very accommodating to the wait for a couple who arrived late and to a quiz in between. We had a birthday dinner, so the food and drinks weren't affected. We had a four-course menu, which was very tasty, but the portions were small. I didn't find the wine (both white and red) particularly special; it's a shame they chose a Chardonnay. All in all, we had a very pleasant evening.

Nice place, beautiful location, but €5.00 for a cup of hot water and a standard 'Pickwick' tea bag is really 'over the top'.

Well. The food itself is good, certainly not special enough to warrant a detour. The service was poor; they didn't listen to the customer. The worst part was that guinea fowl had been ordered, but when they pointed it out, the steak (probably delivered) was on the previous week's menu. No apology or alternative was offered. The wine wasn't explained, and there was complete ignorance about the wine list.

I wouldn't rush back here. We had a company party. The music was way too loud, like being at a Lowlands festival. There were others who found it unpleasant. So I wanted to de-stress inside, but that was absolutely forbidden. There was no one else in the restaurant. But hey, imagine if everyone thinks it's better indoors, sound-wise, and your peace of mind as an employee gets disturbed. The cappuccino came in a small cup and tasted more like coffee with lots of milk instead of the cappuccino you're used to, given how it looks. The restrooms are upstairs, and you have to climb a flight of stairs with only a railing on one side. And they weren't very clean. The food is mediocre, and some dishes were really yuppie food, like cold oat milk soup. The last few dishes were fine, though, like the meat and the dessert. If the music had been much quieter, and the food came out a bit faster and had more courses, it would have been better. 2 ** because of the staff who were unfriendly when I explained that I wanted to relax for a while for my health, the music that was way too loud and the DJ who seemed to be in the middle of a midlife crisis and doesn't have a very good sense of rhythm, the food and the dirty toilets.

I had a really great experience at this place. Booking a table was quick and easy — everything was confirmed right away. The food was delicious, nicely presented, and made with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is very pleasant: calm, cozy, and quiet — perfect for a relaxing meal. The staff were especially impressive. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. The waiters were happy to explain the menu, answer questions, and they spoke English fluently, which made everything much easier. It advertises itself as an (ex-)Micheline restaurant but from dishes to service, it nowehere lives up to that standard. Atmosphere is nice if you are after that but anything else is just waste of money!

We had a reservation (with a deposit paid) and were told it was "not in the system" after waiting quite a while to be attended. We even took a stroll to the pier while waiting for a table we had reserved. Fortunately for us, we could still be seated as if a favour was being granted to us. Turns out there was a reservation in said system and the hostess just didn't feel like hosting. Such a pity because the location is A1 and the food is amazing.

We had the worst meal ever here. First of all, the staff seems all around the place with no clear assigned tasks. When someone finally did ask us for drinks, the guy was full on tucking in his shirt with his hands going down in his pants while at our table. We ordered fish for the starter and main, and didn’t finish both dishes because the fish was rank both times. The seabass wasn’t fresh and the main dish wasn’t cooked through which made the fish slimy. We ordered sweet potato fries, but got regular fries and the Brussel sprouts were hard and inedible. I guess the only good thing was the bread, but we found out afterwards they charge you €15 for that including the tap water which were served in unwashed bottles. For the rest the service was incredibly inattentive, slow and impersonal. The atmosphere was alright, but it was incredibly loud because of a group of Americans who were standing in the middle of the space for most of our dinner. We couldn’t even understand each other because of this. I’ve no idea why this place is even mentioned in the Michelin guide, as it truly was the worst dinner we have had in years.

We chose to share 3 dishes and they didn't put in the price that it was that amount per person. The three dishes were in tiny quantities, super small quantities and on top of that the taste was terrible. My mouth and hands started to itch, something has given me an allergy and I don't know what it could be because they don't indicate allergens on the menu. They charge for the bread and oil service without bringing more (on the menu they indicate that they bring more). We indicated that we did not like the dish and they did not give us options. The waiter's service also left something to be desired. Exorbitant prices so that the taste is bad and you are left very hungry. I recommend not going

We had the wo course menu, it was average. The service was also nothing special with small seving imperfections that you don't expect from a highend location. The atmosphere is not bad near the canal. It's an average place in general.

A TOP restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, the food tastes fantastic and is also very inviting to the eye! The service cannot be faulted! When the waiter asked what I liked best, I said: everything, but especially that for me the food was made a little spicier with herbs because I taste no salt. This has been very well received! Went with a group of friends to Het Bosch. The warm welcome combined with efficient & friendly service during our meal was wonderful. The food was super tasty, cooked to perfection, and presented in a beautiful way. The wine was delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend this amazing restaurant!!

Si l’accès est peu aisé en mode piéton le soir Ce fond D’impasse en vaut la peine! Accueil sympathique et attentif de l’ouverture de la porte au règlement. Une carte bien élaborée avec la possibilité de “menu to share” de 4,5 ou 6 plats (nous n’avions pas “la place” pour tenter) l’idée est sympa pour explorer la carte plus facilement. Le sashimi de thon ponzu comme les st jacques au parmesan étaient parfaits ! La salle belle et très cosy laisse imaginer de très agréables dîner ou déjeuner en “vue mer” (attention on parle de bras intérieur pas d’une vue sur le grand large 😏) Et la terrasse exige de tenter l’établissement aux beaux jours, pas le choix 😉 Bonne expérience Merci à l’équipe

Lovely atmosphere and great food! Really beautiful location and great food for an evening out. My husband and I went all out for this meal, and it was surprisingly well-priced! We ordered a la carte, and 2 cocktails, 2 apps, entrees and a dessert all came to be under $150. I was expecting to be blown away by the food since it's Michelin reviewed, and although we weren't, it was well worth the trip and effort. Service was incredibly friendly and were happy to answer my questions. We happened to be there on a rainy night, so were not able to enjoy the outside seating and scenery, but the location was very serene and beautiful. NOTE - you will need to take a taxi or rideshare to get to this location. It is not easily accessible by the extensive public transit of the city.

Het Bosch is definitely a place I will return to! The staff is very friendly and has put together a very nice menu and wine pairing for my girlfriend and me. The atmosphere feels very luxurious and the food is prepared without fuss from very high quality ingredients. If you like exclusive wine, ask for their special menu!

What a pearl in Amsterdam. So accessible by car or bicycle. Here you are in nature with a great view. Ate here a few times and today for a drink and a snack. Very good service with delicious dishes Nice place also for a business meet.

The restaurant and ambiance are pleasant, with a good selection of wines. The service is the only thing that you never know what to find, since I have seen a very friendly waiter and waitress, and one unpleasant man who didn't treat my group as well as a group of Dutch people. Not sure if the prices match with what's offered.

This was by far the best meal of mine, and my parents lives! Every single item on the chefs menu was nothing short of sensational. The kind of meal that leaves you thinking about it for days after. I cannot reccommend it enoigh! The service is perfect, not too overbearing but extremely attentive and amazingly friendly. Especially from Job. The setting is just magnificent. I cannot wait to come back!

Which is logical since, for example, I am not really into desserts. The service was really good and they offered all kinds of adaptions and changes to suit our preferences.

The Bosch Waterfront Kitchen is a real gem on the water. This beautiful seafood restaurant not only offers delicious food, but also an unforgettable experience. The fish dishes are fresh and perfectly prepared, with flavors that immediately make you want more. In addition, the views from the restaurant are breathtaking – you look out over the river and the surrounding nature, which provides a beautiful backdrop for a pleasant dinner. The interior is stylish and modern, and together with the friendly and attentive service you immediately feel at ease. A perfect place for a delicious culinary experience with a beautiful view.

There was a private party at the main location, so we sat at the sub-location on the water. Top! Nice wine. Soup and guinea fowl were also tasty, but I didn't like the other two dishes. Poached salmon dirty soggy. €200 with two people, 4 courses. Corridors moved too slowly.

I’m really surprised about the reviews that commented about poor service. We had excellent service. Very helpful and attentive. Food was very good and very reasonably priced for the quality. I also liked that it was a small menu so they focus on quality and fresh ingredients.

They lacked flavor and seemed hastily prepared, leaving much to be desired in terms of taste and presentation. To make matters worse, there was no bread served with the snacks, which is a basic expectation for a place of this supposed caliber. The service was another major letdown. Despite the restaurant not being overly busy, the staff was inattentive and unresponsive. We had to wait an excessively long time to place our orders, and even longer to receive our food. Additionally, the tables were not stocked with basic amenities like tissues, adding to the overall sense of neglect. Considering the subpar snacks and lackluster service, the prices were exorbitantly high. The cost of dining here is simply not justified given the overall poor quality of the experience. In summary, while Het Bosch Waterfront Kitchen offers a great view, it fails spectacularly in delivering good snacks or decent service. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

Had lunch with a surprise menu that we knew. And requested without meat and cheese. The first targeted item made for the weekend was fish with way too many flavors. Then a dish with spinach and beetroot in pickle, that was it and again too many flavors were incorporated. And again a dish with celeriac and two terrible sauces but it tastes so bad and the structure is weird. Main course a small piece of fillet with again too many flavors and luckily we weren't sitting near the door otherwise it would have blown away. I'm a dessert person here for the first time in my life. Bread was delicious and the oil was fantastic. And you expect something for 140 euros for two people. We had dinner there again at the invitation of the owner. And lunch was excellent. Will go again soon, service is super friendly and nothing bad to say. Go back soon and I'll let you know, now a big 9️⃣

Op zich een mooie locatie. De weg naar de “parkeerplaats”,die vol met kuilen zit, is wat bijzonder en lijkt naar een verlaten gebied te gaan. Het restaurant heeft op zich mooie gerechten, maar niet iets speciaal aangepast aan een gewone lunch. Dat kun je oplossen met bijvoorbeeld een voorgerecht als hoofdgerecht, friet erbij of tussengerecht erbij of natuurlijk een hoofdgerecht of een paar gangen. Vond het wat onhandig allemaal en lijkt meer gericht op degene die van een lange natte lunch houdt en op gasten die komen dineren. Jammer, want de gerechten zijn op zich goed.

A wonderful evening at Het Bosch. The waiter was awesome and have had some great recommendations both for the starting Gin&Tonic and the in-between red wine for the lamb. The food was excellent (we have had "All the way" - surprising Chef's menu) and the interior very stylish and nice. Even though it is a bit far and further outside, it is worth the visit. We have had a fantastic evening at Het Bosch!

Bij aankomst een zeer vriendelijk gastvrij ontvangst. Ook de bediening heel vriendelijk met passie voor hun werk. Het menu was gevarieerd en had een goede balans in smaken. En een mooie wijnkaart.

3-course chef's lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. Reception goes smoothly and so does choosing a table. First rib-eye tasted very good and afterwards redfish also tasted good. Dessert not so. It was quite busy, but it took just a little too long for a business lunch.

One of THE best lunches I've had in a very long time. I am a food lover (and snob :), and I heartily recommend this restaurant! Inventive dishes, beautifully prepared and most importantly, delicious. The staff is friendly yet professional. Great vibe and nice views too.

Het minst aantrekkelijk vond ik de locatie. Enigszins lastig te vinden in het donker. Parkeerplaatsen met kuilen. Het ligt aan een haventje, maar ook langs de snelweg. Op onze zaterdag rustig. Waarschijnlijk meer aanloop doordeweeks vanwege de locatie. Binnen vond ik het goed aangekleed. Sfeervolle verlichting en goed meubilair. Bediening vriendelijk en kundig. Dacht met ons mee. Het eten erg smaakvol en boven verwachting. Geen wijnen kunnen proberen. Een beetje vanwege de locatie. Prijzen vind ik redelijk. Ik zou er nog wel een keer willen komen.

We went for a pre Christmas lunch and it was amazing. Very nice Christmas decoration. You really see they made a lot of effort. The menu was perfectly balanced and the wine pairing was also very nice. There is a free parking of the restaurant. There was a lot of water so a bit difficult to park. But that’s just a small thing. For the rest everything was perfect.

A fusion restaurant that did not meet my expectations. The main course was duck breast which nobody asked us how we like it cooked, and it was served rare, not medium rare but just rare. It was so rare that it could almost fly... The tastes were not bad but in each course i would say that something was missing in order to make it a really good dish. For example the cauliflower soup with truffle was actually missing the truffle taste and the way the cauliflower was cooked made it a little bit bitter. Overall this is not a bad place to visit. I guess it will be even better on a sunny day were you could enjoy the beautiful views and the location!

Very nice setting with great food! Portions are well served for a nice dinner. I recommend you to go there before sunset as the view is amazing with the sun going down, the mix colors of the sky reflecting on the river. The dishes were unique and tasty. The selection is limited but you enjoy the food and feel full. Highly recommended for whomever is passing by Amstelveen.

Super Essen und Ambiente, aber nicht ganz günstig!

Mooie locatie, goede bediening, uitstekend eten. Goede parkeermogelijkheden.

Voor zo'n mooie locatie, de ambiance, leuk concept en de prijs voor een menu, had ik er meer van verwacht. De bediening kon echt beter, althans, die van onze serveerster. Wij waren met z'n tweeën en zaten tegenover elkaar, maar wanneer de serveerster één bestekset had neergelegd, boog ze vervolgens de hele tijd over de tafel heen om het bestek voor de ander in het midden van de tafel te leggen. Even omlopen en over de rechterschouder neerleggen, is toch hoe het hoort in een wat chiquer restaurant. Daarnaast geen één keer de vraag gehad of we nog wat wilden drinken, ondanks dat het water allang op was en onze wijnfles voor het dessert ook leeg was. Over het water gesproken, je krijgt 0,5 l water waar je vervolgens 6,35 voor betaalt. Ook krijg je een broodmandje en wordt er gevraagd of je extra brood wil, om er vervolgens bij de rekening achter te komen dat je 6 euro betaalt voor dat extra broodmandje. Ik ben echt niet erg op de centen, dat is het niet, maar in andere restaurants van hetzelfde kaliber hoef je hiervoor niet extra/zoveel te betalen. Het eten viel ons ook tegen, de ingrediënten leken interessant, maar misten smaakmakers. Tevens kregen we als één gang een veel te dikke bloemkool/hazelnotensoep die eigenlijk een complete wintermaaltijd had kunnen zijn. Houd het simpel, een lekker stukje bloemkool met wat van die soep als saus was beter geweest. Een andere grote tegenvaller was de tartare. Die kwam direct uit de koelkast op je bord, mijn tip om deze op kamertemperatuur te serveren, dat was stukken beter geweest. Al met al viel de kwaliteit behoorlijk tegen en had het veel beter gekund. Jammer.

Una localización no muy fácil de acceder con transporte público , pero es muy bonito poder ir con tu barquito aparcar y bajar a comer o cenar. Y también puedes hacer un poco de deporte acuático . El restaurante cuenta como dos zonas , el WATERFRONT , junto al muelle , de puede tomar algo o comer algo más sencillo . En la parte un poco más alejado del agua está el restaurante HET BOSH , donde se come una cocina un poco más elaborada . Nosotros comimos en el restaurante y elegimos la opción de 4 platos a la elección del chef. Una terraza increíble . Muy buen servicio muy profesional y muy agradable . La comida estaba bien elaborada y rico y buena cantidad . Calidad y precio excelente . Muy buen ambiente . Yo volvería sin dudarlo pero solo en épocas de verano y primavera .

Een hele goede zaterdagavond gehad met het bosch restaurant. We gingen voor all the way en het was een succes. Goede porties, goede timing tussen gerechten en alle gerechten waren heerlijk. Bediening is vriendelijk toch professioneel. We komen zeker terug, aanrader.

Lovely space and great staff. Though vegans will be disappointed here. They replace a piece of fish with a piece of little gem, not considering to replace it with some proper protein like tofu or any of the amazing vegan culinary innovations to replace animal protein.

Gegeten en wijnarrangement besteld. Helaas was het veel en veel te koud voor het terras. Mooie plek. Vriendelijk personeel. Bijzondere gerechten. Lekkere wijn.

We had a couple allergies and the restaurant was super relaxed about it, changing ingredients to accommodate us and even creating off-menu dishes. Wonderful staff and atmosphere. We always enjoy coming here.
