I would not recommend this place because the portions are small, the price is high and the quality is average. The service is very good though.

Broadly okay. Ridiculously overpriced for what it was, over €7 for a bottle of lukewarm mineral water, main courses at c. €30 for what amounts to quite basic food that doesn’t come in large portions. Children’s food also a rip off. Service however very pleasant and surroundings well appointed.

The portion sizes are normal; you'll definitely be full after ordering appetizers, main courses, side dishes, and desserts. Make sure to order everything at the beginning; if you want to add more, you won't be able to find anyone. Even if you see many servers, they'll be clueless unless you find the person responsible for that specific task. My sincere advice is to avoid eating here if you have other options.

I would not recommend eating here. The food is unimaginative and too expensive. Most of the staff are willing but inexperienced. They get away with it because they are located at Park Bosrijk. A shame...

Just went out for dinner; what a huge disappointment. I ordered the fish of the day myself, which was supposedly salmon, but whether it was a tasteless fish or something else, I have no idea. The pasta with tomato sauce says it all as well: a bowl of limp pasta with a tablespoon of tomato sauce. In short, a tasteless evening that turned out to be expensive for the experience.

During our stay in Bosrijk, we had dinner at the Eethuys one evening on the terrace in the summer. Inside it was quite busy with families, so we preferred sitting outside where it was a bit quieter. Both the children's dishes and the other dishes were very good, actually better than expected. The service was excellent.

It’s a shame to put on the bill products not served.

Friendly staff, cozy place, but for that price you expect more quality in the food. Steak for 29 euros, fries and vegetables 6 euros extra each. 😅 Sauce and flavor good, but it was a piece with tendons in it. Very salty pasta dish. Children's pasta with raw vegetables; we mentioned this because the children really couldn't eat it. No follow-up other than: 'I'll pass it on to the kitchen'. A kitchen with some self-respect offers an alternative if a dish falls short. Dessert at 12 euros ridiculously expensive for some yogurt with strawberry, whipped cream, ladyfinger biscuits, and balsamic vinegar.

Sadly up there with one of the worst meals weve ever had. Compelled to leave a review due to the extortionate prices and feel people should be warned. This feels like a cafe selling awful food at high end restaurant prices. We have had far nicer food on the main park.

BIZARRE BIZARRE BIZARRE! Only go here if you don’t mind bad service, waiting forever (and finally not getting any food at all), or want a nice and friendly atmosphere. We sat on the terrace and were given food menus. Waited over an hour for someone to come and take our order (after them saying someone would be without shortly, several times). Then all of a sudden it wasn’t allowed to order food on the terrace (not because of a time limit, but because of a short and extremely light rain shower? Didn’t make sense). Then we were told that we could sit indoors. But then it wasn’t allowed to bring a dog inside (we had already checked twice during two days prior that it was allowed to bring a dog, so now what?). Then we were told we needed to wait for the night manager to start and then we would be helped. A waitress comes to take our order, “fantastic” we thought… only for another waiter to run and tell her to stop because the policy was no food outside afterall? All in front of our eyes. It was bizarre. Finally the manager does arrive and she was extremely distant and rude to my mother in law and husband (who both have patience of saints normally, but finally the employees of this restaurant crossed a line and both of them got really upset - with rights). It was the most bizarre restaurant experience I’ve had. I started the evening thinking they were all so friendly but then within the span on 1.5h we were offered conflicting and completely random and bizarre information, and then finally having to leave because we didn’t trust the service one bit. One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had to be honest and I still don’t understand how they operate or why these people are allowed to work for and represent Efteling.

Weird service. First the dog is allowed, then the dog isn't. Waited a long time for service; menus were handed out and then taken back. Eventually, we weren't allowed to eat outside anymore, and suddenly we weren't allowed inside either because we had a dog with us. End of the evening: we didn't get anything to drink or eat... never experienced anything like this.

Terrible service. We were promised food being served for our young child sitting outside, and all of a sudden after one hour of waiting, it wasn’t possible anymore. We were treated poorly with no solutions and no respect at all, leaving us with a hungry overtired child. Please dont go here.

I was very surprised by the negative reviews. We had a superb meal. I had the steak (cooked perfectly as requested), accompanied by a Chardonnay, and then the tarte Tatin for dessert: everything was delicious! The pasta dish for the children was also very good and much enjoyed. Admittedly, the bill was a bit high, but in my opinion, it's justified by the quality of the food. I highly recommend this establishment!

Drinks and food were delicious and very well presented. The staff was attentive and very friendly. We had a great evening. However, the atmosphere is more canteen-like, so not perfect for a celebration.

Food very mediocre, everything from a ready-made container. Monkfish buried under a centimeter of breadcrumbs, soggy. Barely resembled a monkfish. My wife had zucchini; it was still rock hard. The wine was fine.

We spent a few days at Efteling, stayed at the Bosrijk Hotel, and ate one evening at the attached restaurant. While we can wholeheartedly recommend the park and hotel, the restaurant was a significant disappointment. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and helpful, and our food arrived promptly. The quality was generally acceptable. However, the price-performance ratio was poor, and there were several other shortcomings. Firstly, it's worth noting that the menu is limited, offering a selection of appetizers, main courses, and desserts, or you can create a set menu. We opted against a set menu, so we can only comment on the main courses. These are offered at a fixed price of €26 – regardless of whether you choose duck, salmon, or even a simple pasta dish. I didn't find this particularly appealing, but to make matters worse, side dishes are charged extra. My wife and I each ordered the salmon, which was served with only a rather meager side of vegetables. To at least get something filling, we added the fries for €6 – they were good, but not really a good match for the salmon. Potatoes, rice, or even croquettes weren't available; only salad or seasonal vegetables. Overall, the meal was adequate and reasonably tasty, but at €32, too expensive. The price-to-quality ratio is even more glaring with the children's meals. A small bowl of pasta with tomato sauce for €12 is definitely too expensive, and the prices for the other dishes (including a significantly smaller piece of salmon with fries) are also unreasonable. Since most people visit Efteling with children, charging such prices, knowing that the parents will pay so the kids don't go hungry, feels like a rip-off. The drinks weren't cheap either, but still acceptable. In total, we spent around €100 on dinner without feeling it was worth it. On a possible future visit to Efteling, we'll skip the restaurant – which is a shame, because having a restaurant right in the hotel is actually a nice way to end an exciting day at the theme park. But here, the gap between expectations and the price is just too wide.

We had a delicious meal here yesterday with a group of 10 people. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were very hospitable and served us excellently.

The service was really very friendly! Hence the 4 stars. - Food was not as we had expected - Too much salt - Meat not entirely tender - Quite pricey - Very small portions - Side dishes are therefore almost mandatory - Gluten-free food is very meager/poor - Service top-notch! - Preparation mediocre (salty) - Plate presentation, mediocre/poor* * very minimal vegetables or similar. Conclusion: For the Efteling brand, this is severely substandard. This does not do the overall experience any good. The price-quality ratio is nowhere to be found. Do you want to enjoy a tasty meal and feel satisfied? Feel free to skip this place.

The service was very friendly. The portions were very small and the pasta sauce was watery and tasteless. The zucchini wasn't particularly tasty either. With the steak, you had to order fries and salad separately. I found the price-quality ratio too high.

Unfortunately, our expectations for the Het Eethuys restaurant were not met. The portion sizes, especially considering the price, fell far short of what one would expect in this price range. We actually went home hungry – a clear indication that something is wrong. We had a much better experience about six years ago, which makes this visit all the more disappointing. The menu is now quite small, while the prices are comparatively high. This is particularly noticeable with the children's meals: €12 for a child's portion is, in our opinion, unjustified. The appetizers also seem overpriced overall. In addition, paying the bill was a major hassle: We were refused payment at the table and had to go to the bar instead. Even more problematic was the fact that splitting the bill – even between two families – was not possible. This caused unnecessary hassle and frustration and, in our view, is completely outdated. Overall, it seems like they are cutting corners in the wrong places while prices continue to rise. For us, the value for money is no longer acceptable.

Food and service was excellent.

Went here for dinner. The restaurant itself has quite a nice vibe but the dinner menu is so expensive for something so basic. And generally the food wasn't great. We paid about 150 euros for starters, mains and drinks for 3 adults. The service was fine. That said, the breakfast was nice, lots of choice, really good pancakes if you avoid the "syrup" which is more like a molasses and is horrible. Nice that they had the characters from the park walking around entertaining the wee kiddies. If you're staying in the hotel I suggest getting pizzas from the little shop which is what we did on the second night and they were outstanding. Delivered to your room and way cheaper.

We had dinner here. Since I am breastfeeding our baby who has a cow's milk protein allergy, I am not allowed to eat dairy products myself. The chef personally came to consult with us about the best alternative within the available options. It was very nice that there was so much care and understanding regarding allergens, and I was able to enjoy my meal. It was also very nice that there were extra side dishes of both raw (salad) and warm vegetables, and not just fries, which is the case in many places. We also came here for breakfast. I did see some gluten-free options there, but I found the lactose-free options rather limited.

Had dinner here with the family on Sunday evening. We had pickled salmon and a carpaccio. The kids had melon with ham. It was exceptionally delicious. The main course was duck breast fillet. The fillet was tasty, but the vegetables could have been a bit more plentiful. We each got two halved carrots. The kids had crispy chicken. It was tasty but could have been a bit better. The fries were okay. They had salt and paprika seasoning. And those spices tasted almost the same as regular "fish spices" you can buy in large jars. A strange experience; fries with fish spices. I give those 3 stars. The rest of the food 4. The service was good and polite. The food arrived quite quickly. All in all, highly recommended. We skipped dessert. The four of us spent about 140 euros. The fish spices picture is for illustrative purposes ;)

The food was excellent, no complaints! However, there was one small drawback regarding the language, and this applies to the entire park. We're in the Netherlands, but Efteling aims to be international, and we're exactly 20 minutes from a French-speaking area. Having a French-speaking employee for each department would be very helpful and would drastically improve customer service.

We ate at Het Eethuys on New Year's Eve. It was included in Efteling's New Year's Eve package as a three-course meal. The appetizer was served as a full buffet (😅 there was so much!) at the table. We could choose something from the main course and dessert. We were more than full afterwards! 😋

1. The food was okay, but the dishes are served rather sparsely (meat only). Fries and salad are definitely recommended (although the salad is small and limited). 2. The interior is rather poor compared to the exterior. 3. The staff doesn't come by very often and doesn't take back empty drinks.

One of the best restaurants I've been to. The starters are their best dishes, so make sure to get the sharing menu, where they bring 5 different, full-sized starters for you.

In short: don't eat here. - Fries from the freezer (not fresh at all) - The chicken for the kids is far from a fresh piece of chicken, just chicken nuggets from the deep fryer. - They charge for everything separately (vegetables, fries, etc.) - etc. etc. In short: nothing positive. Tip: Go to a real brasserie in Flanders and learn how to run a business with a good price-quality ratio. Too bad, because we're very positive about Efteling. This is a failure of their concept.

The restaurant thrives on the overnight guests at Efteling. The service is family-friendly and attentive. We had dinner and breakfast there. Dinner was lacking in seasoning (especially salt). I would have returned the pesto at an Italian restaurant if I hadn't been so hungry. Everything was missing, especially the Parmesan cheese. (I would be ashamed to serve a culinary classic in this form to guests.) Breakfast is varied and offers something for every taste.

Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The appetizers, main courses, and desserts were fine, but the pesto pasta was truly disappointing as it had virtually no flavor. When we pointed this out, we were told it was simply due to the salt content, even though it was clear the pesto itself wasn't well-seasoned. From that moment on, I realized there was virtually no room for feedback and I wasn't taken seriously. After giving feedback, I became more of a joke than a valued guest for the rest of the evening. This behavior from the server felt downright disrespectful. The service was generally chaotic. For example, the desserts for half of our party arrived much later than for the other half. All in all, I would not recommend this restaurant. Hopefully, feedback will be heard more in the future and the service will become more consistent.

A very pleasant meal, with hourglass-shaped lighting and all the atmospheric elements needed for a cozy dinner. Our hostess, Fleurie, was very professional and cheerful and immediately made us feel at ease. Tip: the food sharing menu offers a wide variety of dishes for a truly attractive price! We were a bit hesitant to eat here because we'd read such mixed reviews here on Google. Still, we took the plunge, as we're staying in a cottage in Bosrijk and were looking for somewhere quick to eat, and we didn't regret it! There were five of us, including two children. Our oldest decided to eat the adult menu, and my mother, being a young eater, wanted to choose the children's menu. It wasn't a problem; the friendly, flexible head waitress was happy to help us, including our second daughter, who is a real picky eater. We had a regular shared-dining menu and a children's version, and it was all delicious. We especially loved the zucchini soup. I slightly regretted not ordering a larger bowl! At least, initially; it turned out I went home with a more than full belly from all the delicious food. The ham, which I hadn't heard of (perhaps it was Limburg ham?) but which both my daughters loved, was also a big hit. And normally, I'm not a fan of arugula, but with the couscous dish (muhammara), it was a perfect combination. Both the zucchini soup and the burrata were generously oiled. They didn't skimp on ingredients that add so much flavor. The main course—I had the steak—wasn't skimped on the sauce either. In the reviews we'd read, some complained that the portions were too small, but that didn't bother us at all. The only thing was perhaps that the steak was a bit more rare than medium, but luckily I like both slightly rare and slightly medium cooked. It was a unique experience, though—in my experience, a medium-rare steak is more likely to be overcooked. Our daughter had the duck breast, a dish she had for the first time in her life, by the way. What a wonderful experience when something you're eating for the first time is so delicious! My boyfriend had the pork rib roast—he was also very pleased with it. I ordered a portion of fries with my main course. I was aware that people had complained in the past about having to order this separately, but the waitress very thoughtfully mentioned this and added that it was indeed a generous portion for at least two people. This was indeed the case. I never quite understand why people throw spices on fries, but the paprika didn't bother me, and we all agreed the fries were deliciously crispy. Unfortunately, Google doesn't allow for a full review! Hopefully, I can add it as soon as possible.

I wish we'd read the reviews as the restaurant looks lovely. That's where it ends. The food is very expensive for what it is. We wanted it to be better as it would have been more convenient for us, but we cancelled all our subsequent bookings once we'd had one night in there. The service just seemed so poor and not slick, on numerous occasions I struggled to get the attention of waiting staff for help. This was another Efteling restaurant where they didn't want to serve us tap water and wanted us to use the bottled table water instead - which is very expensive. Main courses were passable but nothing more. It's almost there, but just not quite, and at nearly 100 Euros for two adults and a 4 year old it's just too much. We didn't let it affect our holiday though. The breakfast in the same restaurant is fine, again not amazing, but passable.

We used the pizza delivery service and were truly delighted. We've never eaten such delicious pizza. It arrived piping hot. The dough is perfectly fluffy and crispy. Value for money: a bit more expensive, but completely justified. The price is right for the quality. Top-notch.

While the hotel restaurant is listed as open until 11:00 PM on Google, the kitchen actually closes at 10:00 PM — a crucial detail that is not mentioned anywhere on the Google Business Profile. This lack of information is misleading and significantly impacts the guest experience, especially for those arriving late or expecting to have dinner on-site. Adding to the inconvenience, the hotel’s shop, where one might expect to find food alternatives, was also closed. This means that after 10:00 PM, guests are left with no options to get a meal or even a snack. This situation could easily be avoided with a clear and accurate update to the Google listing. Transparency about kitchen hours is essential for proper planning and for maintaining guest satisfaction. I hope the management considers correcting this as soon as possible.

The staff showed us to our seats, and we had to wait about 10 minutes for a menu. It wasn't exactly busy at the time. It felt like we weren't welcome. We chose the set menu. The starter was plentiful and delicious. For the main course, we ordered a vegetarian and a meat dish. The duck was bloody and raw in many places. We informed the staff. The vegetarian dish was delicious. The dessert arrived without a spoon. We asked for it after a few minutes. In conclusion, the service definitely needs improvement.

Eerst dachten we: zal misschien zo’n ‘snel-hap’ zijn. Maar het was een zeer aangename verrassing! A) het smaakte uitstekend; B) het was bijzonder smaakvol opgemaakt oude borden; C) en de prijs was zeer redelijk! D) en daarbij: de bediening was erg vriendelijk!

We found the food absolutely terrible for the price. The steak was tough, the pesto pasta was overcooked, and the pesto tasted like nothing. For a restaurant attached to an amusement park, it wasn't very child-friendly. However, I did find the ambiance very nice.

Very good food but the service was extremely long (3 hours at the table where we had to get up 3 times to ask for the next dishes which arrived late without having cleared the dirty starter plates) excessive price 38€ per person excluding drinks, expensive mineral and sparkling water 7€ for 75 cl!!! No entertainment for children (sandman, Tom Thumb or princess / sleeping beauty for example as it is the theme), the staff completely ignores the customers, in short, good food but not well received!

Klaas often or something who came by in his white pointed hat will not come to you if you are only a little colored, went to all the tables and had a chat but could not come to us, but then continued to talk to people, why? If you don't like your job you have to dig holes or something, everything is on film but you won't do that because WE aren't like that ;) Very expensive for what you get, piece of meat fits in the palm of your hand, you pay 25 euros for it with 2 carrots, chef doesn't know what medium raw, ordered the same thing twice, 2 different steaks... staff who work at the restaurant, great service, many companies can learn from them Service from the waiters 10/10 Atmosphere was good, but Mr. Klaas was often less so

Efteling is great and magical place, but if you have the chance to eat somewhere outside it's most advisable. The restaurant is overpriced for the quantity and quality of the food. Very few options that we ate only because w e were super hungry and with a toddler it would be difficult to find something at 20.00 in the evening..such a pity to have a great day and finish your day with such bad food...

Ate here despite a lot of bad reviews as we wanted the convenience after a full day in the park. Food is surprisingly excellent considering its a theme park hotel. Price high as expected for theme park Hotel. Service is friendly and attentive but not overbearing. We had the adult and children sharing menus where you get a selection of starters with your choice of main and dessert. Pricey but food was lovely and decent amount. The only down side is its not a particularly great atmosphere. I have eaten in nicer restaurants in europapark and Disney and universal but better than the restaurant in alton towers (not difficult!). They could put in nicer chairs and tables and flooring to be more comfortable and look a bit more upmarket and match the food and price but I didn't mind as I was so tired after a long day and good food served quickly won me over. I think the bad reviews must com from summer as it was fine on a Wednesday night in the easter holidays. The breakfast was OK. Cooked food limited. Pastries lovely. Breads fresh and tasty. Good selection of cheese and ham. Cereals and fruit, juices and coffees/teas also available. Plentiful at 8am. Not too busy. Clean at breakfast.

After a fun day at Efteling we had dinner at the Eethuys (we stayed in Bosrijk). Very smooth and friendly service, but 2 negative points.... The old restaurant was much cozier and had a warmer feeling. And I ordered the steak (because the menu is quite limited). And I asked medium fried. The steak was Medium rear, so not a correct cooking method. It didn't matter much to me, because I like a little rawer meat. And I didn't want to be difficult, so I ate it. And it certainly tasted good. But if you specify a certain cooking method, you expect it to be like this... also the steak was already cut into pieces, so the chef could certainly see that it was not cooked medium... it's a pity that they leave a few dots behind.

Contrary to many reviews, we found the food (steak, pasta, and children's dishes) very good. What we didn't like, however, was the price. The menu is simply structured and has only one price model per course. This makes it clear, but also expensive. The service was good and multilingual. Unfortunately, despite having a reservation, we didn't get a good table and were seated in the passageway, in a draft, and it was cold.

Had a nice meal with 8 people. 1 steak had a lot of muscle and was impossible to get through. Reported it and it was immediately exchanged for a new steak. And that's how it should be! We only thought it was a shame that fries were not included as standard. You have to pay an extra 5 euros per portion for this. That was a real "pity moment". But otherwise the quality was top!

Special mention to the Cock waiter who is professional, committed and who even tries to speak to us in French. The dishes were excellent from start to finish. Few people in February, it’s nice. We advise!

Me and my family ordered the starter where you get a bit of everything and it was top quality food. Definitely the best restaurant I have ever been to with no exaggeration. Our server Sandra was very kind and friendly who answered our questions about the menu. Was £38 per person for a 3 course meal which is absolutely fantastic. The pumpkin soup was delicious and I highly recommend it. Will 100% come back here during our stay.

Waardeloos, we waren met de familie van 7 personen voor een verjaardag aan het eten en toen alle maaltijden op tafel waren bleeker in een broccolie en patazakje van de steak een lange donkere haar ineengestrengeld te zitten. We hebben dit bord teruggestuurd en moesten te lang wachten op de maaltijd. Ik ben toen in gesprek gegaan en dat maakte het niet beter. No style, we indicated in advance (when booking and by telephone) that we have a person with a shrimp allergy, that was no problem. When we get there, it turns out that after ordering the three-course dinner, the kitchen still indicates that they cannot rule out cross-contamination, and that guest cannot therefore eat a starter. After speaking to a haughty employee, he came after 5 minutes with the alternative of a starter from the pizzaria. What a weakness

Love the Efteling, but in my opinion it's better to skip Het Eethuys. Against our better judgment we joined us after a wonderful day in the park. It is the only 'full-fledged' restaurant near the cottage park, so I was already preparing to be dropped off. And that happened. We haven't been served such tasteless food in a long time. And what prizes!! Not okay. Service was good, very friendly and hospitable.

wow! After a day at Efteling we had a delicious meal here with our 2 little ones (2 years and 10 months)! We received a friendly welcome and the staff was also so friendly to the kids! Usually kids are seen as a bit of a burden in a restaurant, but certainly not here! the food is fantastic, including the children's menu! Klaasvaak will also come and check on you at the table in the evening, which of course makes dinner even more fun. In the morning we had breakfast here and that was also taken care of down to the last detail! delicious breakfast with many fresh choices and again very friendly staff! We hope to be able to come back often. Efteling... you can be very happy and proud of your employees, they are all great

All praise to this location! New reservation system that does not work properly, when we arrived the reservation had not arrived properly. After waiting fifteen minutes we were already assigned a table for our group (10 people). Many with allergies that were paid VERY WELL attention to and which was not a problem. Had a really great evening! I think they even put out the tent while we were there. Haha. Top experience.

We were pleasantly surprised in the evening after our less pleasant swimming moment. We were given a large nice round table in a nice and quiet part of the restaurant. There are also children's portions, but because the children were not very hungry, we asked if we could share a spaghetti among the 2 children and that was allowed. A very friendly employee delivered a coloring page and 2 small boxes of pencils for the children: ideal. The aperitif (aperol spritz) was ok in price and tasty. The food itself could have been a little warmer but it was tasty, a bit of a shame that it was served 2 minutes after the aperitif. Now we were not able to taste the wine. But that couldn't spoil the fun: friendly people and good food. The breakfast was fantastic: a rich buffet with lots of variety!

In tegenstelling tot de magie schiet het restaurant tekort. Het begon al dat de reservatie via de app niet was doorgekomen. Gelukkig hield men daar rekening mee en was er een tafel voor ons gezin vrij. Het voorgerecht ging goed en dat was een brood met toespijs plank. Heel lekker. Het hoofdgerecht was echter niet doorgekomen en we hebben 1uur moeten wachten, met twee echt jonge kinderen nota bene. Het steak vlees was ondermaats taai en de vis droog. Het dessert voor de kinderen was niet wat gevraagd werd. Op de kaart spreekt men over brownie, en je krijgt chocomousse met slagroom en kruimels van brownie. Er volgde telkens wel een excuus, maar weinig proactieve service van mensen die het probleem aanpakken of juist communiceren. Indien men deze prijzen wil blijven hanteren en men opentbook nog een nieuw 5-sterren hotel in het park, dan moet men echt uit een ander vaatje tappen. Ook in het hotel landhuys waar we sliepen was het te koud, moest je minuten wachten omdat de digitale sleutel het niet deed. Het zwembad, de jacuzzi was minstens 5 graden te koud na een winterdagje pretpark. buiten lopen bij koud weer. Wij komen geen tweede keer overnachten op deze manier. Jammer.

Met mijn familie gegeten, sfeer was prima maar niet de magie die je verwacht van de Efteling. Hiernaast was je bediening prima maar werdt er weinig aandacht aan je geschonken. Het eten was matig. Je betaald 27 euro voor een beetje vlees (naar mijn mening geen echte steak) en nog eens 5 euro voor een klein bakje friet…

Wij waren er met kerst, driegangenmenu. Was meer en beter dan we dachten. Niet alles was warm maar wel lekker. Alleen bij het kindermenu echt te weinig, mijn zoon kreeg een inimini biefstukje, echt heel weinig.

We hadden er een drukke dag in Efteling opzitten. 2 jongen kinderen erbij. We namen de sharing menu waarbij de voorgerechten om te delen zijn en je zelf de hoofd- en nagerechten kiest. Het was geweldig. Het is lang geleden dat ik nog zo'n malse steak heb gegeten. Voorgerechten waren hemels. De kinderen waren wat lastig wegens oververmoeid, maar de bediening (een heerlijke dame genaamd Liza) deed ons thuisvoelen. Erna met een fijne herinnering erbij naar onze cottage vertrokken. Dit is waarom wij op restaurant gaan. Lekkere wijn, lekker eten, fijne bediening. Dikke aanrader, prijs / kwaliteit is ronduit top.

Super :) We are all vegan, and that has been taken into account. Perhaps not much choice, but everything was delicious and fresh. The service was very friendly and polite. The atmosphere was pleasant. Recommended!

We were with a large group, you expect that they are used to that here. The food was lukewarm, both steaks sent back. It didn't come at the same time, the fries were lukewarm, salmon was lukewarm. None of the 15 people actually had a good meal. When asked if we liked it, we indicated this, but nothing was done about it. No one came to us, no excuses or anything. Very bad, never again for us.

Deze keer was een teleurstelling,bij aankomst willen we graag even koffie drinken. Na 20 minuten zelf maar iemandopgezocht en besteld. Ook kwamen we hier voor de lunch, een kwartier bij de ingang gewacht en niemand die naar je toekomt. We zijn weg gegaan. Ook hier lijkt het steeds verder achteruit te gaan met de klantvriendelijkheid en de beleving. Heel jammer want we komen hier al 10 jaar heel graag.

Met gezin bestaande uit 5 personen gegeten tijdens verblijf in Efteling Bosrijk. Menu gekozen waarbij voorgerecht shared dining was en hoofdgerecht en nagerecht naar keuze. Eten was bijzonder lekker en bediening vriendelijk.

Surprisingly good restaurant, especially when you realize that it is located on the periphery of a large amusement park. The menu is beautiful, children have been well catered for and the staff is sharp and very attentive. There were vegetarians and lactose intolerants in our party and this was closely monitored, even after a staff change. Good! We felt more than welcome here.

Delicious food, the food for the children was also great! Not the standard fries with frikandel and apple sauce. Sandman came to the restaurant which made it really fun. The service was great. Very friendly, helpful and fun with children.

It's just not there anymore. The old diner is really a shame. The service was good because Eftling employees are simply the best, but the food and atmosphere are very bad. There is nothing for fussy eaters and there is nothing for the children to find fish or something else strange. children do not eat at all, they want to imitate luxury restaurants, but for me that is not necessary, give me the old atmosphere was simply the best and the food used to be top, such a shame, they could better invest that money in something else

Heerlijk gegeten vandaag. Het Eethuys is zeker niet het goedkoopste restaurant van de Efteling, maar je krijgt er wel het beste eten en service voor terug. We begonnen met de sharing voorgerechten. Wat stond er veel op tafel en wat was het allemaal lekker en vers. Vervolgens de eend en de steak gehad. Ook deze werken heerlijk mals. Tot slot een lekker zoet toetje.

A very average breakfast for the price, even for an amusement park. For example, sausages and fish were missing. The bread and roll selection consisted more of “cheap” rolls. The selection of vegetables or healthy foods was also very sparse. Simply not enough for the money. But the dinner was completely convincing, hence three stars.

(This review refers solely to breakfast) There are fresh-tasting rolls in different designs, such as grain rolls, croissants or chocolate rolls. There are also eggs and bacon, which get cold over time, but you can see how they are refilled and you can taste that they are also fresh. There are many different cold cuts and small side dishes such as fruit salad and donuts, and there is also muesli/cornflakes. At the drinks station there are several coffee machines, fruit juices and jugs of milk/chocolate milk/berry milk. Generally the food tastes good. The service is very friendly and could always be found at the counter or refilling. The ambience was great, but nothing extraordinary. There was no music, but the walls were decorated with cute little plates and large windows ensure that the lounge area is illuminated with natural light.

Delicious food, a number of dishes on the menu per course with a choice of fish, meat or vegetarian. The quality of the dishes was really excellent. The stake was deliciously fried and side dishes were more than standard. The desserts were delicious, a real feast on your plate.

Unexpectedly very tasty and certainly enough to eat. Sharing menu as a starter is highly recommended!

The food here is fine, but the atmosphere of the restaurant and the subsequent reception are terrible. When you eat here you don't have the feeling that you are in the fairytale forest. We have been to the old diner several times, the atmosphere was 10000x better then. I really don't understand who could have approved this. It's really a shame!! For the prices you pay for the food, they could do a bit more with the theming. There is also not much for children to do in the restaurant, and there are no lunch dishes for children.

The food and service are excellent, unfortunately all atmosphere has been professionally removed after the last renovation. As if you were dining in a conference room...

We had a super tasty meal today, with a selection of dishes, followed by fish and steak plus desert, which were very tasty and for an acceptable price of €37. Service is smooth and super friendly. great for an amusement park👍🏻👌👍🏻👌definitely worth repeating, even for a day visit to the Efteling
