Bad food actually doesn't even deserve 1 star! Fries cold and meat tough and a strange taste. Left it after 2 bites but still got sick. Day at Efteling on Boxing Day!! Service lacking and atmosphere, well, better said, no atmosphere. A big food shed where the euro signs count!

The restaurant looks nice, but the food is disappointing. The fries were greasy and soft, and we also waited a long time for our food. 5 people in the kitchen, but nothing was spent. Compared to the regular Efteling restaurants, the price is a lot higher and the quality is much lower. Waste of your money. €80 euros for 4 people dirty fries with 1 stick of sateh (which was tasty by the way).

It's a shame that the Panorama a la carte restaurant is no longer in Efteling. Panorama quality was much better than la Place concept. At la Place, 1 loose chicken leg (without potato/trimmings) with little flavor easily costs €9.50 (I only saw this later on the receipt). We would like to eat something warm, have a quiet meal and then continue in the park. But my family had to wait in line for a salmon dish (with some potatoes/rabbit green food>> spinach leaves/a little pepper) for about 25 minutes. Come on>> very thinly sliced ​​salmon on the grill won't take that long to grill!!! After they came to the table with their food, we finished all our food. Unfortunately, the food is also disappointing. For 8 people simple food self-service restaurant at €245 price is not worth it.

For a few years now we have been going to the Efteling for 1.5 weeks during the summer holidays and then eat at La Place almost every day. Until this year. My focacia roll had probably been there for a while, as the bottom was soggy. The piece of pizza itself tasted fine, but cold. I had already skipped the salad bar this time because I thought over 6 euros for a very small bowl was crazy. The middle one went for a portion of fries (4.50 so a normal amusement park price) The oldest and youngest chose the satay dish which contained the same amount of fries as the individual portion, 2 pieces of prawn crackers, a scoop of coleslaw and 1(!) skewer of satay without extra peanut sauce. I understand that you pay more for your food in an amusement park, but paying about 13 euros extra for this compared to a single fries is no longer fun. In short, this was our last visit there despite the, by the way, extremely friendly service.

Crazy bad. I didn't even get around to ordering because I was sent away from the counter because there were only 2 people there, while the restaurant was not busy at all. Ordering via the app doesn't work either.

I went here by car. I had set the navigation. I wasn't aware that it was in the Efteling. I was driven into the parking lot.

The food was okay in terms of taste and price, but it took an eternity to get it this time. Absolutely chaotic and disorganized. And that at main meal time. Every meal ordered is first completely prepared and then served by the same person, with two others standing in the background. Only then does the next guest take their turn. You have to choose the children's menu yourself. Not recommended

How terribly bad. First of all, you have to wait a very long time before you can even place an order (seems like a favor, but I think differently with those prices). I think the person who should actually be taking orders would rather prepare meals, because there was time for that. There are a lot of people in the kitchen, but everyone looks at each other and not much else happens (except for picking their noses). Anyway.... order given, because I still want to eat sometime. Then we have to wait a while before the food is finally ready, while the burgers (and fries, which were already cold when we were finally able to sit down) were pushed into our hands as if you were at a cattle market. When we arrived at the cash register, it also took a while before the payment was made. Paid cash and received the remainder in one go. And yes... at the end of the day you get tired and yes... then you might have a little less, but this really didn't make sense. For what you pay, you should at least get the feeling that you are being treated as a customer. In any case, this was a one-time visit.

There were so many good food choices! The prices were a little high here compared to other places in the park, but the food was really good. I appreciated that they had a little bit of everything, especially when you are a picky eater! We like to get a bunch of different things and share family-style. We went during lunch and it was perfect to relax for a while in between the rides!

You can order at the table, but payment is only possible with ideal. Eventually you ordered inside and you heard from people with the same problem that they couldn't order. Certain soft drinks were also not replenished. Food was tasty but everything quite expensive

The food was decent, but not for the price. €16 for a flatbread (read cardboard) with 5 pieces of meat in it and fries, whichever tasted the best. The burgers were good but too expensive in terms of price/size.

Dirty toilets, dirty glasses & a dirty drinking tray with some drinks... a shame because we pay enough! The toilets were really that dirty... 4 stars for the atmosphere because I had good company. Very unfortunate, I hope you will look at the reviews & do something with them. We like to visit Efteling

I probably had too high expectations and that is why the disappointment is so great. Cold dishes despite very limited choice.

It was not taken into account that I wanted a wrap without onions. So making one for me was not possible. Don't get this

Today, January 27, 2024, we went to the Efteling and finally ended up at La Place for something to eat. What did we get; cold pumpkin soup, lukewarm pea soup and 2x lukewarm 'hot' chocolate milk. Received a refund for the pumpkin soup (there were apparently several complaints). Overall experience; unworthy of a La Place and certainly not worthy of Efteling. Considering the other reviews, Efteling management 'intervenes', you don't want your good name linked to this.

Tried to get food here several times, unfortunately each time I walked away without eating anything. Sometimes it is just incredibly busy and the staff doesn't seem to fully understand that chaos is happening and other times almost the entire range is sold out (which is not indicated earlier so you are actually wasting your time)

Nicely decorated and nice and warm, but otherwise not much positive. Doesn't fit in Efteling. Not the quality and friendliness you find elsewhere. Staff are actually the worst. And that usually starts with poor training and induction. Efteling really needs to enforce the same quality here; is fixed in the contracts concluded with LaPlace, right?!?

Nastiest flatbread ever (tzatziki, mushroom, meat) and very expensive, definitely don't order it!

Very nicely decorated and... that's it. I can't report whether the food tastes good. I'm just sitting here pissed off and drinking coke 😏 For self-service everything is MEGA chaotic, there is hardly any description of what you can combine with what, what belongs together, does flatbread belong with the paid salad or not and if not WHERE are the plates?? There are only tiny salad bowls here. Service is ZERO (which I'm not used to at all in Efteling), as a customer you are looked at stupidly and ignored. I'd rather take my nice money to McD 🤣🤣 Ah yes, prices are simply outrageous even for the Netherlands (e.g. mini no tomato soup €6 etc.)

Dirty terrace, lazy staff. Impersonal . Detonates violently with what you can wish for in the Efteling. Do something about it :(

My opinion concerns the burger menu with fries. Regarding this one, you shouldn't expect more than a soft sandwich with a low-end burger, to which I would give a maximum of 2/5 regarding quality. However, taking into account the price (17€!), I cannot decently give more than one star.

Staff very rude to customers. The meal was not good. Very long wait and very poorly organized service. I will never come back

Food and price are not bad. But not very good either. The problem is some of the staff doesn't seem well trained. Two students were at the grill taking orders sometimes on a paper and sometimes not. Somehow in the middle of that my order disappeared (they probably gave it to someone else) after I went to the bathroom. It doesn't seem difficult to me. You write the order, you pass it, you prepare it, etc. Also there were other staff in the kitchen and clearly they didn't help at the grill when there were like ten people queueing. Needs more team work. The park runs smoothly but la Place is apart. It doesn't reflect the quality of the staff at Efteling.

Schöner Ort mit viel Platz. Leider ist die Essensaugabe sehr chaotisch. Kindermenü muss man die Artikel selber zusammensuchen. Hamburger waren fertig und auf die Pasta musst man noch lange warten, da waren die Hamburger schon kalt. Essen war aber gut

Beetje te lang wachten op de burger, in een pretpark wil je het liefst zo snel mogelijk iets eten , en terug doorgaan, de hamburger en frietjes waren wel lekker, ook best wel prijzig, ook maar 1 kassa open waardoor je eten koud is voor je eigenlijk kan beginnen met eten, dit kan beter ,, ziet er gezellig en uitnodigend uit maar kan de verwachtingen niet inlossen

Drie kwartier wachten op een bestelde burger bij een buffet is niet oké. Uiteindelijk was alles ook nog lauw. Het eten was redelijk lekker, maar als je 60 euro betaalt voor twee maaltijden met soep, mag het echt wel beter.

Hoge verwachtingen van dit nieuwe restaurant, maar helaas wat een tegenvaller. Ziet er erg leuk uit, maar uiteindelijk kom je toch voor het eten en dit is een grote teleurstelling. Gaat hier voornamelijk om hamburgers, ok dat kan, maar past dit echt bij het thema? Zorg dan wel dat de kwaliteit van de burger en de opmaak ervan er wel is, maar nee hoor. Simpel huis en tuin burgertje zonder enige vorm van thema. Erg jammer. Zelfde geldt voor het kids assortiment...doe wat met het thema!!! Heel jammer

Expensive but delicious! Its only recently changed ownership to be La Place in April so just a heads up when you read the reviews. I dont know why its not been re-listed by Efteling so the reviews can be more accurate.

Fantastisch geregeld! In de ochtend kwamen wij met de vraag of we in de vroege avond met 160 kinderen en 40 begeleiders konden komen eten. Door het enorme noodweer kwamen we eerder dan gepland. Maar alles was top voor ons geregeld! Kindermenu met patatjes, snoepgroente, sapje en een ijsje toe. En alles werd ook nog super snel gebracht. Geweldige service en super klantvriendelijk personeel

Leuk zonneterras, waar je heerlijk buiten kunt zitten, vriendelijk personeel, eten en drinken is wat prijzig, maar waar is dat niet tegenwoordig. Veel variatie in eten en drinken, gezonde dingen zijn er voldoende.

Zeer mooi interieur en super lief personeel

14 euro voor een hamburger niet groter dan je handpalm en 10 frietjes kan echt niet.

Uitgebreide keuze voor gezond en kwalitatief goed voedsel.

Duur, maar dat is te verwachten gezien de locatie. Eten is geen hoogstandje, maar er zijn smakelijke gerechten te krijgen en er is best wat variatie.

Kwalitatief goed eten en drinken wel een beetje prijzig

Sehr sehr hübsch gestaltet und schön aufgebautes Buffet.

Een drukke dag maakt hongerig en je wilt even wat uitrusten. Gewoon even iets normaals nuttigen, gewoon een lekkere kop koffie, een gewoon een kommetje soep, je kan er soms zo van opknappen. Dit hoekje is wel vaker een succes gebleken als men daar naar op zoek was. Het buitenterras (beschut achter glas) is een fijne plek om buiten te zitten ook als het zonnig maar nog net een beetje fris door wat wind is. En gelukkig, gewoon een kop koffie of wat te eten staat toch redelijk snel al op tafel. De soep is heerlijk, kommetje met een boterhammetje met wat beleg erbij. Die eenvoud is veel waard, een dag op een attractiepark is best lang en vermoeiend en leuk genoeg om het tot de laaste minuut vol te houden. Ieder weet best dat een hele dag vol met fastfood, zoetigheid, zout, vet, alcohol en meer niet echt een feest is. Zeker kinderen voelen zich een stuk beter met gewoon wat gezonds te eten en te drinken. Wellicht is dat wel dat stukje extra magic wat een dagje Efteling voor iedereen tot een echt succes maakt. Grappig: we dachten dat de koffie in Efteling servies werd geserveerd, een rood logo met de letters D en E...

La Place in de Efteling is verplaatst naar het restaurant naast Vogelrok. Een goede zet. De producten van La Place met het accent op vers is hier terug te vinden. De inrichting is herkenbaar van de traditionele La Places buiten het pretpark. De verse sappen lonken naar de bezoeker. De appeltaart met noten is te verleidelijk om te laten liggen. Dat geldt eveneens voor traditionele, Brabantse, goed gevulde worstenbroodjes. De espresso viel tegen te sterk. Prijs-kwaliteit prima. Goede zet van de Efteling.

Slecht eten en ook duur in La Place, overige restaurants zijn allen goed, La place slopen niet Efteling waardig .

Vriendelijk bediening. Heerlijk gegeten.

Veel te duur voor wat het is. 5 euro voor een kop tomatensoep die letterlijk in de supermarkt ligt voor nog geen kwart van de prijs. 25 cl wijn voor 6 euro en nog geen glas aanwezig, alleen plastic bekertjes. Dit is verre van 9+.

Lekker eten, verse producten, gezellige zitjes

Salade heerlijk en broodjes goed. Alleen erg prijzig. Thee met kurkuma is een echte aanrader. En tussen al het fast food aanbod is dit heel welkom

Passt schon. Die Sandwiches sind reichlich belegt und machen auch sehr satt. Die Kindermenüs sind mir kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten für die Kinder und Eis ausgestattet. Die Getränke sind leider sehr klein, was wirklich schade ist.

Een taai beenhammetje, was niet zo lekker en dat moet je dan ook nog eten met houten bestek. Gaat niet. Jammer ook dat al het bestek en servies wordt weg geworpen. Zonde.

Geen aanwinst. Het eten van Efteling zelf is prima, maar deze tent van La Place scoort niet goed. Slappe frites, geen gesmolten kaas op de cheesburgers en in het vlees harde taaie knarren (bot)? Hier komen we niet meer. Jammer, andere locaties van La Place zijn echt veel beter.

Het La Place eten is goed. Maar een simpel broodje eiersalade voor 7 euro is mij toch net wat te duur. Normaal gesproken ca. 3 euro en nu het dubbele. Smoothie voor 5 euro.. Wat aardbeien en yoghurt gemengd. Hier verdienen ze hun zakcentje wel. Zo is gelijk mijn maandloon in 1x op. En had daarna nog steeds honger.. maar dan weer een broodje kopen voor 5 euro.. als je bij een normale La Place komt krijg je ook prima prijzen voor goed eten. Ben echt geen meenemer, maar zo word je een beetje gedwongen.. hoe lekker het er ook mag uitzien.
