Nice place and friendly staff. We only had a drink.

It takes a bit of searching to find the entrance, but once you do, you'll climb a few stairs to a lovely terrace with a beautiful view. The service was friendly and attentive. I had lunch there, and the price-quality ratio was excellent, with no long waits.

For coffee, apple pie and a wonderful view, you must be here in Wijk bij Duurstede!

A very nice spot with a view of the harbor. But the lunch isn't very high-quality. Two croquettes with bread are literally two croquettes with bread. There's also cheap mustard and cutlery, but nothing else. 11 euros.

Forgotten control Reasonably slow

Beautiful elevated terrace with views over the harbour. Wonderful on sunny days. Difficult for people who have difficulty walking.

Delicious coffee with apple pie. The dog was also allowed to come along. Nice terrace with great views. We will be back soon

We had a copious, tasty lunch. The service was good and friendly. Too bad that a Hanos truck spoiled the view for a long time.

Always a wonderful trip from Utrecht. I come there many times every year, but apparently the owner has changed. The new crew has no ties or catering experience whatsoever. Only 3 wines left on the menu, 1 red, 1 white and 1 rose of the cycle-through type. I was there on Saturday, July 19, 27 degrees and the terrace was half occupied. Something that surprised me. This place deserves class where you would like to pay a little more for your drink. It's a pity that this new manager has opted for young, uninterested staff who do not yet know what the boss has to offer (dry rose,,, I don't know sir . Too bad I'll have to continue cycling from now on. The reviews are probably from the previous owner.

The location is great. Unfortunately something went wrong with the order twice. The cakes were tasty, but it was a shame that the whipped cream came from a spray can.

Nice place to visit after a day of driving. Nice along a small harbour, the view is pleasant and the restaurant is spacious. The staff is nice and the food tasty. There is something for people with small and large appetites. Shared fish and chips once with a traveling group. Please note: visiting the toilet is not possible and/or easy for less mobile people. The sanitary facilities are located in a basement for which you have to go up and down a narrow winding staircase.

We ordered nachos. I have honestly never had such bad nachos. It was very little, there was only a small layer of cheese on top. All the tortilla chips at the bottom were crumbs

Fantastic location, good menu and something for everyone. Too bad that this year they only put picnic tables on one side. This does not improve the atmosphere and is not convenient for everyone to sit at.

Mooi terras op de stadswal met uitzicht over de haven en de Lek. Lekkere uitsmijter gegeten. Vriendelijke bediening

De kroket en patat waren erg lekker moet je echt proberen als je er bent

Heerlijk om huer tijdens onze toertocht met de 2cv even te kunnen zitten voor een drankje en een bittergarnituur. En ik heb nog nooit zulke lekkere zoete aardappel frietjes gegeten!!!

Prima plek om naar de bootjes te turen, snelle bediening en prima eten. Beetje te sterk gekruid patat, maar op een goed terras in de zon moet je ook drinken. Prima plekkie!

Heerlijk geluncht, vriendelijke bediening en een super mooi uitzicht

Vrijdag 12 aug 2022. Zeer gastvrije en enthousiaste ontvangst om 18.15 uur zonder dat we gereserveerd hadden. Super zorgzame, snelle en zeer vriendelijke en flexibele bediening 👍 Heerlijke wraps (zelfs veganistisch 💚👌) met overheerlijke frietjes, een fantastische locatie, wat wil een mens nog meer ... Wij komen zeker terug. Lieve groetjes, moeder en dochter van tafel 13 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️

De ligging is op de eerste plaats super,fijn om over het water kijken daar! Maar och jee wat gaat het er hier vreemd aan toe ,we streken hier rond 16,15 uur voor een hapje en drankje 2 rose en we wilde een2 x een salade( of iets anders) bestellen,maar helaas die lunch kaart gaat om 16.00 uur dicht! Wat overbleef was de bitter garnituur, en dan pas om 17.00 uur een diner kaart! Nog nooit ergens meegemaakt je kan hier dus niet eten bestellen tussen 16.00 en 17.00 uur! Mag ik dit vreemd vinden? Trouwens de bediening erg rommelig de meisjes vergeten de laatste tafeltjes bestelling op te nemen! Maar hahaha tussen 16.00 en 17.00 uur valt er niks op te nemen behalve drankjes en bitterballen!

Ook super gezellig,diverse restaurants, heerlijk wandel gebied prachtige kerken.

Leuke plek om bij mooi even wat te drinken.

Lekker toeven na een lange motor rit

Als we in Wijk zijn, is dit meestal toch wel de plek om even wat te gebruiken. Omdat je hier mooi uitzicht hebt op de NederRijn, en het niet zo enorm druk is als in het centrum. Vooropgesteld dat het mooi en weer is. De locatie zelf zit bovenop de buitenmuren van de stad, wat de plek best uniek maakt. Ze hebben een aantal bieren op de kaart van de brouwerij De Gele Kanarie, wat weer eens wat anders is. Verder alles tussen bitterbal en maaltijd.

Leuke locatie om even te stoppen voor een heerlijke appeltaart ☺️
