You order a satay menu and it gets cold, and you order a special hamburger and only get curry on it.

I ordered fries and stew from Groningen, but I got regular fries and stew. It's really annoying that you can't simply place an order in Dutch. And when I call to report this, they don't answer. I've been a customer of "de sammy" since I was a child. This has happened before. It's a real shame.

My order took two hours, and they still weren't even preparing it. Then I called them, and when I answered, I said, "Hello," and they hung up. Worst cafeteria in Groningen, definitely not recommended.

Hamburger bun. The bun was old, cheap hamburger, disappointing.

We ordered a large "raspatat oorlog" (traditional fries) with extra onion, a hamburger, farmer's fries with stew, and a spicy "eierbal" (egg ball). What we got? An absolute disgrace. The "raspatat oorlog" (traditional fries) were regular fries with exactly three slivers of onion. The stew was a tasteless slurry of onions. The farmer's fries? Hard, dry chunks without any flavor or seasoning. The "eierbal" (egg ball) was stale, dry, and barely filled. That one star is for the hamburger bun. The staff apparently didn't understand us and seemed especially disinterested. No service. This isn't a cafeteria. This is a mistake.

Picked up some "kapsalon" chips and various snacks for our visit. They were quick to prepare and the food was excellent. Highly recommended.

Bah bah bah and again bah. I think the salt shaker fell into the fries. You could punch a hole in someone's head with the chicken corn. Not to mention the black edges on the hamburgers. The entire order went straight into the trash because they've never heard of communication here.

Really really the worst snack bar I have ever eaten at, since the snack bar was taken over by another owner the quality is no longer good, we ordered 2 fries with stew and there was literally 0 meat in it, only onion and sauce and the fries were overcooked, the hamburger bun was inedible, a 3 year old can do that even better. Definitely not worth repeating

The prices compared to other cafeterias are really extremely high! Daring to ask 5/6€ for a portion of fries… which are then either fried too long… or of course super salty! Or 1/2 products are missing as usual… was always a super good cafe…. Decided not to come here again if you want to make customers pay such an amount for substandard fries… super waste!

The most delicious Flemish fries ever eaten, delicious! Service could be a bit better, when we arrived the chip shop owner was relaxing and smoking a shag, fine of course, but without washing his hands he takes the snacks ... then you just hope that all bacteria die well in the hot fryer ;-). Wash your hands, so fresh when preparing other people's food! Friendliness could also use some work. Had ordered 2 bamischijfs; 1 normal and 1 vegetarian, they didn't tell which one was vegetarian. That is important for people who apparently don't want to eat 'animal suffering bamischijf', when I asked he answered a bit grumpy and I got the feeling that I was asking a very stupid question 🫢 but the Flemish fries were delicious 🙌🏻

Fast, quality and no hassle. Got another kapsalon today. Delicious, art. Tender shawarma, delicious vegetables, perfect proportions. Class!

The fries were cold and brown and according to the third time baked Mexicano was dried out and the bun was like a brick and the fries were specially forgotten and not brought by either. One of the worst cafeterias I have ever been to, not to be repeated.

Food is seriously below standard As a construction company we picked up snacks today, just called that they forgot a patat oorlog with extra sauce, so sloppy, and when asked can you bring it they say I don't have time for it. The croquette ball was just as hard as our hardened purr

Today I eat limp potato chips for the first time. Unfortunately I took it home to eat so I don't know if I would have gotten a new one.

Ordered fries, arrived nice and hot.

Tried again: regular fries, raspatat and frikandel speciaal. And still bad, can't say otherwise. Not fried properly, oil not the right temperature? Or fried too short? Frik spec didn't look like it. I advise everyone who works there to eat fries and frik spec somewhere else and then compare.

The fries were old, greasy, very rancid, the fries were almost brown, the fries also smelled, the staff hardly speaks Dutch, the fries were also very expensive, do not recommend it to anyone

Worst food had in my life, just some random mixed food.

I think that the finch nest is taking advantage of the fact that they have no competition in the neighborhood. That makes them expensive. A kika stick for more than 4 euros is out of proportion. I also don't understand why English is spoken among each other.

Tasty milkshakes, reasonable fries and a grumpy woman in the kitchen.

I waited almost 1 hour for 2 healthy sandwiches. 3 customers who came to me left with their food before I did. Cafeteria of nothing, waiting so long for 2 healthy sandwiches. I won't come here again.

Good, but it has become mega expensive since the Chinese took over. There isn't even a price list so they can make everything more expensive every time. Homemade hamburger sandwich is only 1/3 of the size of 3 years ago and even more expensive!.. ball of minced meat inedible, nasty bits of fat removed In. Berehap is good but pricey. A 'special' frikandel is not even cut in half as it should be. With 1 dash of mayonnaise and curry. Just like the amount of sauce with all other snacks and fries. The sauce is just enough for half the fries. Now go to shoppyland in Bedum, E 2'75 for an old-fashioned frikandel special with loads of sauce. And fries with more than enough sauce. Everything there is 30 to 40% cheaper and more generous portions and amount of sauce. No more finch's nest for me.

When the owner is working the food is always excellent. If he's not there, it's always a bit disorganized and the fun doesn't exactly radiate, apart from the fact that I have the feeling that they are doing their best. But especially for the owner, I give a big pass.

Last Saturday's fries were not good. Really dirty. Half of it was limp and full of dirty oil. However, the young man at the chip shop was very friendly and funny.

Delicious food. I had the kapsalon pullen park and it was very tasty. Highly recommended. By the way, their other dishes are also incredibly good. And nice staff. If you can't make it, you can also have it delivered to your home by Thuisbezorgd.

Wanted a good hamburger with some fries and a kapsalon. When I initially tried to order the chicken burger, I got a rude response as if I had to leave buy asking for food. Ordered two plain hamburgers with a pulled pork kapsalon, never been so disappointed by food that should be so simple. Hamburgers were €6 each, really overpriced for what it turned out to be, just a plain hamburger but with tomato slices. The pulled pork kapsalon was even worse, the type of meat felt like “draadjes vlees” and tasted like a big bag of elastic bands. TLDR; Rude owner and bad overpriced food. Won’t come or order here again.

Maybe this guy should start a little earlier. Opening hours on Wednesdays from 12 noon. The gentleman only takes orders from 12:15 pm and still has to put the plates outside. This is already the 2nd time in a short time. Fries are generally good. Update: Since a new gentleman works much better!

Takes way too long to get it. It's stuffy inside. It tastes ok.

Altijd lekker. En royale porties. Enige dingetje wat ik kan bedenken dat ze zouden kunnen verbeteren is dat de milkshake niet (bijna) altijd op is. Want ze zijn zo lekker!

vlotte snackbar met heel veel keus

Iets vaker glimlachen?Of op zn minst niet laten doorschemeren dat je vint dat elke klant mede oorzaak is van het feit dat je je werk haat....

Erg achteruit gegaan word er ook niet schoner op.

Jammer genoeg waren de medewerkers overbelast, hoewel ze wel goed hun best deden. De management mag wel iets aangepast worden dus. Het eten was redelijk ondanks de drukte was de sfeer ook redelijk. Maar de medewerkers werkten onder hoge druk. Toch mijn complimenten aan deze mensen.

Erg wisselend. De ene keer is alles perfect. De andere keer is de patat zo vet dat het er bijna uit drupt. Het personeel doet z'n best, maar we hebben het idee dat ze er niet echt met plezier werken. Het eten is dus eigenlijk net Russisch roulette: de ene keer goed, de andere keer slecht.

De Groningse bal was heel lekker een aanrader.

Goed eten veel keuze. Heel veel keuze. En niet alleen patat en snacks. Salades en vis en nog veel meer. Alleen mag het personeel wel wat vriendelijker en spraakzamer zijn.

Slappe patat en de kikastick niet gaar

De laatste paar keer geregeld niet gare patat gehad, hard van binnen, zacht van buiten, soms druipt het vet er nog uit Absoluut niet krokant. maakte niet uit op welke dag ik het afhield, zowel op donderdag, zaterdag en maandag. Vaak enorm druk. Is niet de goedkoopste in de buurt, dus dan verwacht je tenminste wat betere kwaliteit. Vergeet ook geregeld iets mee te geven zoals een frikandel of kroket.

Ik vond het vroeger een goede cafetaria maar sinds er buitenlandse eigenaar erop zit is het erg veranderd sommige personeel en baas komen regelmatig chagrijnig over straalt het erg uit worden veel fouten gemaakt raken bonnen kwijt rondom slecht nu

Patat is prima en je krijgt meer dan genoeg, de kroket was niet zo lekker

Hier een kapsalon besteld, komt niet in de buurt van wat het moet zijn. Wel het vlees was goed te eten maar daar is alles mee gezegd.

J'aime bien mais très cher pour le poisson. Beaucoup de personnes sinon c'est bon

Lange wachttijden en te vaak nieuw personeel

Wij eten hier regelmatig maar sinds de laatste paar keren is het net meer te eten. Patat is echt slap. Bijna bij elke bestelling wordt er wel IETS vergeten. De papieren bakjes zijn ook niet echt ideaal, maar goed dat snap ik nog. Maar patat is slap en half gebakken. brrrrr

De twee eierballen die ik had waren uitstekend, echter de crunchy chicken burger liet zeer te wensen over... Een broodje, een krokante kipburger en een blaadje sla... Als ik er saus bij had gewild, dan had ik daarnaar moeten vragen... Niet heel erg logisch als je het mij vraagt. De kipburger was dan ook veel te droog en zonder enige smaak sensatie. Daarom ook niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Had een berehap met pindasaus, maar die uien ertussen waren bijna zwart en hard. Het kraakte gewoon tussen mijn tanden. Jammer want ze zijn meestal wel goed

Komen hier al jaren, altijd heerlijke patat en snacks. Personeel is vriendelijk en heeft er vrijwel altijd echt zin in. Klasse🙏🏽

Nette schone cafetaria, zeer uitgebreid assortiment, waaronder patat shorma of stoofvlees, en hebben ook een lekkerbekje of een kibbeling. snelle bediening Mevrouw die meestal helpt kijkt misschien niet altijd vriendelijk maar is dat best wel👍
