Unfriendly staff, coffee (espresso) not good

After checking into our B&B, we enjoyed a delicious lunch here. A nice spot near the church. After studying the menu, we all ordered the same thing. It took a little while for it to be served. Fortunately, they have delicious beers here. It is a pity that the staff all have their own tasks. You could only order from one staff member!

What a nice spot, always a relaxed place to sit. My compliments to the friendly staff. The "big" gentleman, among others, knows exactly how to treat his guests in a nice way. We wish you a wonderful season!

⭐☆☆☆☆ We stopped by with a group of teachers for coffee and cake. Initially, we were received in a friendly manner and the service seemed welcoming. However, that impression changed quickly when one of our students asked if she could use the toilet. This was resolutely refused. When we, as teachers, explained that it concerned one of our students and that we were simply sitting on the terrace as paying guests, the answer remained no. According to the employee, he “couldn't do that” and would face problems if the owner heard about it. What disappointed us most was the lack of humanity and flexibility. It wasn't a large group all wanting to use the toilet, but just one girl who urgently needed to use the restroom. A little hospitality and understanding would have been appropriate here. Unfortunately, the friendly welcome turned out to be mostly superficial for us. Due to this unwelcoming attitude, we finished our coffee quickly and left. As far as we are concerned, a disappointing experience, and therefore only one star. ⭐☆☆☆☆

The mustard soup with brie remains unrivaled.

It was absolutely nothing! Only the waiter tried his best, but otherwise: terrible atmosphere (the Christmas decorations still in full glory in the spring), food with a very poor price-quality ratio. Unfortunately, not recommended.

The food was super basic: fried eggs on bread with a sad slice of cucumber. The only bright spot is the waiter; he is very friendly and really tries his best.

It has become a regular spot for us.

We enjoyed the evening sun on the terrace, overlooking the church and cemetery. The service was fast and friendly. The dog even got a treat. The cranberry beer is worth trying, in my opinion.

Yeah, listen up, what I was experiencing here was outrageous. I asked the staff for fries and got a grilled cheese sandwich. How is that even possible? In a ski hut! What ski hut doesn't have fries?🍟

We quickly enjoyed a Doppio and a Cappuccino on our walk through Midsland. The Doppio had the right depth and a good crema. Luckily, we didn't miss a glass of water.

Don't miss the white HUUSKE! The house rosé is highly recommended. They have a good Dutch bitterbal, bread platter, etc. The German 2.5 malt is also delicious. Friendly, personal service. It overlooks a cemetery, but all in all, it's a nice place...

Best service on Terschelling, top

A fantastic, cozy spot for a cup of coffee, beer, or drink. The friendly service is the icing on the cake.

Ordered two Hawaiian sandwiches. The pineapple had a nasty flavor. It was dismissed with "more people ate today." No apology whatsoever.

The waitresses barely came by, and it took a while to get served. The sandwich couldn't be heated because "the chef was very busy," even though only two other tables were occupied. The price was reasonable, and the food wasn't bad, but it could definitely have been better.

The beer was good - unfortunately the Tosti I ate was far too expensive for what it was. It was just a slice of cheap cheese with a bit of pepper. I can recommend looking around left and right first.

We had a lovely time on the terrace, it was very cozy! Delicious drinks, snacks, and great service! Pleasantly surprised, we'll definitely be back!

Looks like a cozy place, but at the moment we want to sit with eight people the boss gets very angry with us. Fortunately the friendly man wanted to help us and we succeeded. For the rest there was a cozy atmosphere. Nice that the boss had the same haircut as Eminem.

Coffee and pastries ok, but you have to order again after 15 minutes, otherwise you have to leave. Annoying that they ask every 5 minutes if you want something else. It was not busy on the terrace, so incomprehensible.

With your face still in the last evening sun. Enjoy a beer. Nothing to complain about. Staff very friendly and helpful. Please note, only open until 6pm!

Nice place to enjoy a nice latte with a really tasty brownie 😁, and if you will go inside you will discover the beautiful ,,Austrian -Bavarian ‘’ atmosphere, it’s feeling like you are in Alpine mountains in a remote area, and the biggest plus from here ,is the most friendly stuff that you ever meet, that always makes you feel comfortable

I was not allowed to use the toilet last year despite my offer to pay 1 euro. He told me to order at least a cup of coffee, so the answer was no. The law states that you are obliged to let a woman go to the toilet if necessary, but the gentleman didn't care about that. He preferred to send me to the bushes... I also regularly came there as a guest, but since last year never again.

Vriendelijke lange man, lekker gebak met veenbessen . het weer zat mee een erg zonnige dag. Eethuis ligt in het centrum tov de kerk. Er wordt hier geleefd van het toerisme.

Very cozy place, relaxed atmosphere and friendly service, especially the man, sometimes a bit busy but very cozy, will definitely come back there when we are back on Terschelling

Cozy terrace with very enthusiastic service. Good coffee. Sandwich with Terschelling herb cheese, is simple but delicious. Extensive menu with dishes and snacks. Beer menu is also excellent.

I didn't eat there, just a cappuccino with apple pie. Can't go wrong with much. But I think he is an enthusiastic Rotterdam guy (I think the owner), but I can imagine that if you have him around you all day, it will make you very tired😩 But much better than a dead bird in the waiter . We'll come again!

A child in dire need who is not even allowed to go to the toilet... wow. Inappropriate. Our first time on Terschelling, and hearing from everyone that it is so hospitable here 🤣

Heerlijk gegeten bij deze hardwerkende dames in de bediening! Respect! Goeie schnitzel in het late avond zonnetje!:)

Nice place in the sun with friendly and competent staff.

Na een lange fietstocht, even aan geschoten voor een bakkie met cheese cake.Smaakte prima en we konden er weer tegen aan! Vriendelijke mevrouw.

Erg gezellig plekje om te zitten; de service is uitmuntend met een hele sociale en amicale bediening. Eten en drinken is goed, al is het bij een theetje gebleven op de ochtend.

Top locatie maar de uitsmijter Terschelling is de meest karige uitsmijter die ik ook gezien heb!!Blijkbaar moet 't borreltje de boel wat opleuken. Twee stukken broodje, twee eitjes, droge bieslook en wat kaas dat is 't. Sneue vertoning. De tostie Italië smaakte goed maar meer als 'n simpele tostie is 't ook niet. Qua eten kom ik niet meer hier.

Super lekkere (en hete!) chocolademelk met slagroom. Met of zonder neut. Heeeerlijk!

Lekker even zitten naar flink tegen de wind in te hebben gefietst en geholpen door hele aardige mensen.

Voor, tijdens en na het Rock and Roll weekend veel gebruik gemaakt van het terras. Gezellig, snel, lekker en zeer zeker gastvrij!

Eten en ligging lekker en gezellig. Maar de bediening star. We waren met een groep van 9 en mochten niet twee tafels aan elkaar schuiven. ‘We gaan niet de hele boel verbouwen’ krijg je dan als antwoord. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Voor ons tenminste.

Wilden hier lunchen, maar we hebben het bij drinken gehouden. De eigenaar (? lange man) veinst vriendelijkheid en vrolijkheid, maar duidelijk met een masker. Wij proefden geen zin om ons met gastvrijheid te bedienen. Zijn vrouwelijk collega (bleek haar eerste dag) deed dat een stuk beter, maar het leed was voor ons al geschied. Mooi plekje, maar de vent maakt toch echt de tent…

Hier afgelopen 2 dagen gegeten. Wat een feestje. De zeebaars en de mosselen zijn verrukkelijk en mijn vader was helemaal blij met zijn schnitzel. En vergeet de brander mayonaise niet!! Door het gehoorprobleem van mijn moeder door ons omgedoopt tot brandewijnmayonaise. De zeer vriendelijke bediening maakte het voor ons echt compleet!!!!

Goudstaafje met koffie, deze moet je geproefd hebben. Gezellige, vriendelijke bediening.

Knus café-restaurant gelegen in het centrum van Midsland, naast de kerk en tegenover de Coop. Als je aankomt valt de après-ski stijl op. Ski's voor de deur en ook binnen attributen en muziek die een wintersportsfeer oproept. We hebben er een Terschellinger schnitzel gegeten en vooraf een heerlijk verse currysoep en als toetje ijs met cranberries en koffie met jutterslikeurtje. Een meer dan goede afsluiting van een short break op het eiland. O ja zeer fijne bediening moet nog genoemd. We hadden niet gereserveerd maar voor een vakantieperiode of feestdagen zou ik dat gezien de beperkte zitcapaciteit wel doen.

Het Witte Huuske is een klein, gezellig eetcafe in Midsland. De kaart is redelijk standaard, maar wat dit cafe maakt tot wat het is, is de ontzettend leuke bediening. Vriendelijk, grappig en enthousiast. Ik werd er helemaal blij van!

Gezellig oud. Let wel op dat het een schnitzel restaurant is. Brood plankje zag er netjes uit. Eten is lekker en het bord is goed gevuld. Bij een volgend bezoekje aan Terschelling zeker weer een bezoekje waard.

Vrolijke bediening en het goudstaafje (cake met cranberry compote) is zeer aan te bevelen.

Fijne zaak , personeel heeft vaak tijd voor een babbel. Ze hebben ook lekkere koffie.
