This is the second time I've tried to make a reservation, and the website and Google search show the restaurant is open. Unfortunately, no one answers the phone. I tried to make a reservation at 4:00 PM, 4:30 PM, and 5:00 PM without success, and booking through the website wasn't possible either. So I assume they're closed again. It's a shame this isn't communicated on the website, Google, or Facebook page. It's a real shame, because I've eaten there once before, and the cheese fondue was good. Although I completely understand the negative reviews about the meat fondue.

We had a super delicious schnitzel, highly recommended. Compliments to the hostess, Maaike, for her super kind and welcoming welcome. A small team took excellent care of us. We'll be back soon.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is good. The cheese fondue was good, but the food was minimal. It's a shame, though, that the cheese burned quickly due to the burner underneath. The meat fondue was truly poor, especially for €39 per person. The meat was more like sliced ​​bread toppings. The second portion was still frozen. It didn't really have much flavor. This definitely needs some attention.

Great!!...a fondue restaurant in Oosterhout, I thought. We went with a group of 16 people to try it out. Some people went for the cheese fondue, but personally, I and two others at my table opted for the meat fondue. I didn't actually read the information properly, but it turned out to be a broth fondue instead of an oil fondue. Downsides: - Not everyone gets their food at the same time, so for some, it was cold before they could even start. Our group was "hidden" in the back of the restaurant. We were the only ones there, and from the street, the place looked empty. - Luckily, we were with a friendly group, because the atmosphere wasn't great. It felt like the whole place had been taken over from the previous owner and a new name had been given to the building. The music wasn't turned on until the end. At one point, the waiter decided I was done with my all-you-can-eat meal because he suddenly took my plate away. I asked the guy to put it back because I wasn't finished yet. The price is really high for what you get. At meat fondue, you pay 39 euros for unlimited... well... sandwich toppings. For the same price, you can get better food at ANY other restaurant in the area, in my opinion. The staff had clearly only been working in the hospitality industry for a few weeks, but that's something I'd like to point out, okay, they have to get some experience too, and that'll probably be fine. But when you've just opened a new place... and it's a Saturday night... and you know a group of 16 people is coming... put someone with experience in the place. I understood from the group that the cheese fondue was good, so if that's what you're after, go for it, but they won't be seeing me again. I'll be buying my sandwich toppings from Nettorama from now on.

Started with a very high step to enter, door that did not close properly and kept blowing open, rainwater flowed under the table from people sitting behind us. Location is nice, bad acoustics. 2 people sat at a small table, all kinds of things were placed on it, fondue pan, etagere, bowl of sauces, bowl of salad, bowl of fries, and our wine had to be added there, apart from the necessary cutlery we were able to eat a little, which was good, but definitely not worth 39 pp if it becomes the normal price. We also thought the drinks were quite expensive. In short, for us this try out was not worth repeating.

Little choice on the menu; many manually crossed out. Meat fondue very thin slices so you don't have the feeling of eating meat. With 4 adult men, so little meat, fries and salad, which makes you order again. Not good value for money. Too few staff (very hardworking), therefore few drinks, food not served at the same time, long waiting time, empty dishes and glasses on the table. In summary, a very disappointing experience.

Yesterday I ate at this restaurant for the first time. After I saw a message on Facebook that a new restaurant had opened here in Oosterhout, I immediately started researching what kind of restaurant this was. When I saw that in this restaurant they also served fondue in addition to an al a cart, I got really excited. I personally love fondue, barbecuing and gourmet dining, but there was no restaurant in this area where you can do this. When I saw that they also have a very nice promotion until October 15, 2023, I immediately made a reservation. There is a promotion: two people who come to eat only have to pay for one (drinks not included), this only applies to the fondue. Upon arrival I initially saw that there was a very tall step at the front door. But if you are in a wheelchair or come with a walker, you can also enter via the back door at the terrace. Here they have a double door that they can both open and there is a very low edge that you have to get over. When I arrived I was immediately escorted to my table. The decor of this restaurant is very unusual but very beautiful. It looks a bit like a western wooden barn. There are neck rests on the wall for a horse to pull a covered wagon, as well as posters of cows and they have made a low dividing wall from a stack of wooden blocks. There are also wooden chairs and tables. After we had taken a seat at our table, we were asked if we wanted something to drink and if we wanted to see the menu. Because in addition to fondue, you can also order from the menu. When you choose fondue, you can choose from two types of fondue. You can choose from a cheese and a meat fondue. You can also opt for an appetizer from the menu in advance. This is not included in the price of the fondue and must therefore be paid separately. We opted for a meat fondue without a starter. First, sauces, salad, fries and the pan with oil were placed on the table. When the pan with oil was on the table and turned on, a tower with 3 plates on it with different types of meat on it was brought. There was pork, beef and chicken meat on it. These are cut into thin slices. You then skewer this meat with a special fondue fork. Each plate of meat also comes with a separate fork so that you can use that fork to push the meat a little on your fondue fork. As soon as something had run out, you could indicate this and it would be replenished almost immediately or after a short wait of about 10 minutes. You can continue with both cheese and meat fondue for as long as you want. Adding or refilling meat, fries, salad and sauces is all included in the price. You only have to pay for the drinks separately. During the meal, we were also regularly asked whether everything was to your liking and whether they could add or refill anything for you. When you had finished eating, your table was neatly cleared and you were asked if you wanted dessert. This dessert is also included in the price. If you have an allergy, they can take this into account. Please indicate this clearly and clearly during the reservation. It is best to call so that you can pass this on. The restaurant is also spacious and you can move around fairly easily with your wheelchair. Tables are at a nice height and on 4 legs, making it easy to get under them with your wheelchair. There is no disabled toilet in this restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you have any questions, they give a very clear answer and/or explanation. Besides the fact that you can eat inside, they also have a spacious terrace outside. You can also sit down to eat here. The menu they now have includes various meat, vegetarian and fish dishes. You can view the menu on their website and see what they serve. This first time was really good for me. I am very happy that there is now a fondue restaurant here. I will definitely eat here more often

Amazing experience! Very nice restaurant with hospitable staff. Food was more than enough and very tasty! We will definitely come back more often to try out the rest of the menu!

What a nice place! Very friendly service, nice Swiss decor and good food. We had the summer salad with Swiss cheese and onion soup. As a main course, the meat fondue for two people with many extras. We were not short of anything and it tasted very good. Fairly large portions, good bread with the starters and a choice of Swiss varieties with the drinks. Next time we'll have the cheese fondue, because it smelled really good at the next table!
