Very nice service and very tasty food and the mini glow in the dark golf was a lot of fun, definitely recommended, very nice and cozy

We organized a team-building activity for 20 people with just one week’s notice! I emailed them, and they were very helpful in setting everything up. Esmee did a really great job reserving activities and planning the food. She was also excellent at adapting when things didn’t go according to plan—for example, when the food took a bit longer and activities needed to be delayed, everything was taken care of! She also helped us make sure we stayed within our budget. With 20 people, it can be hard to keep track of everything, so that was very much appreciated. The team had a blast! Each member was able to find an activity they liked: - Simulated racing, where you race against each other on an F1-style track - Mini golf - Mini bowling - Digital darts: real darts played on a board with a projector and mini-games - Pool tables Food Things to note: - Burgers already come with fries, so there’s no need for additional sides—and the base portions are big! - The chicken burger is a fried chicken burger It would be nice to have the drinks menu on the website! If there was one, we couldn’t find it. All in all, I would definitely recommend it!

Ikram was incredibly helpful. Great service, full of enthusiasm and conviviality. It's a shame we couldn't end our company party there because of an earlier reservation. Ikram and Luna were incredibly helpful. Ikram made sure we got a spot despite the crowd and was there to answer all our silly questions, and Luna makes the best cocktails I've ever had!

I regularly visit Hollywood Café Noord for drinks with friends, and every visit is a great experience. The staff are always polite, professional, and welcoming. What really stands out is the personal touch, they almost know my order without even asking, which makes you feel like a regular in the best way. Usually Luna takes care of us, and she’s absolutely amazing. The rest of the staff are great too. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and it’s become one of my go-to spots. Highly recommended.

I always find this restaurant very pleasant (partly because you can play games) and the service is good, but since the new bowling center opened, the music has been too loud. That's the only point of concern!

We'd eaten here before, and it was a success, but this time it was a disaster. My 11-year-old twins and their 11-year-old nephew celebrated their birthday here on Saturday, November 1st. We were a group of six adults and six children. Unfortunately, they forgot to prepare my meal and that of my son, who was celebrating his birthday. We received everything after everyone else had finished eating. My meal was still missing prawn crackers and salad, which I finally received after a long wait. The drinks we ordered weren't served, and we saw the boy simply walk past with his own drink to take a break. A female colleague eventually resolved the issue. The kitchen was busy, so a lot was forgotten or not served. We had ordered a birthday surprise (ice cream) for the three-year-olds. After 20 minutes, we asked where it was. It turned out the ice cream flavor we'd chosen was gone, so they hadn't brought it. We ended up choosing a different flavor, which was still a disappointment. We'd already pointed out to the boy who the birthday boy was, but he arrived with the ice creams and lit fountains. He placed them at the head of the table where the adults were sitting. By the time we'd put them in the right place for the children, they were already gone. The children, and especially my son, had a disappointing experience, and the guests we were with were flabbergasted. We received no compensation or apology, but we did receive a hefty bill of over €250, which included the incorrect drinks and incorrectly placed fries. Again, no apology. Such a shame, the children were really looking forward to eating here.

It takes 15 minutes just to order a drink even I asked the waitress that I would like to order. Under-staffed on weekends! Be careful when you choose this location.

We made a nice reservation for my father's 40th birthday. Glowgolf was fun, but when we arrived, we had to wait 20 minutes at the bar because the table still had to be prepared. Once at the table, we ordered a drinks platter, which took over an hour and a half to arrive. By the time the platter arrived, the fries were cold, and we received a total of 15 snacks for 40 euros. Then we ordered burgers, which did arrive on time (because we'd ordered them an hour earlier). They tasted fine, apart from the cold fries, which were again cold.

Manager Owen ruined our birthday party! He gave us a table that wasn't reserved and was actually free! Instead, he offered us a cold, uninviting corner! So unfriendly, rude, and unprofessional to treat a family celebrating their birthday! We had booked and paid for what we had! And let's not forget the woman with the only black hair who made the arrangements. She was also unsportsmanlike, uncooperative, and unprofessional! I advise you to avoid this unprofessional place, as there are plenty of places like this that are much more welcoming and have better staff! Such a shame, those two are ruining the place!

A pitcher of dead beer is 22 euros? Bowling alley is a plastic fever dream. A thoroughly mediocre place.

Was not too busy. You. Can hang and have a nice conversation. Unfortunately they forgot to enter one of the dishes. Thet did made up by offering a free drink which was nice. The portions are big.

Updated 30/06/2025 My fav place to sit down and enjoy some bites and drinks. The cheese bacon fries are always on my mind, they even layer the cheese and bacon! Recently they also started doing terrace and the staff are friendly too! Love how retro it looks inside the restaurant! You can have a nice drink at the bar or the many tables and filling dishes on the menu. Good thing is they also serve non-alcoholic beverages and putting lots of cheese on the fries yummy! Therr is also a possibility to play glow in the dark mini-golf!

I wanted to use the restroom, nearly peed my pants, and had to pay €1. I really had to, I had no choice. Both restrooms were filthy! See the photos! If you charge a euro for using the restroom from anyone, the restrooms must be clean! I showed the photos to the staff, and they insisted I still had to pay. I did anyway, as I'm not a troublemaker, but I find it ridiculous, disgusting, and very unfriendly (since I paid, I'm a restroom user).

Eerst potje glowgolf gedaan. Daarna 5 fiches gekregen voor gratis drankjes. Bij thuiskomt de bon gecheckt maar 2 gratis drankjes gekregen, vreemd. American en Italian burgers besteld. Vlees was koud en droog. Salade was zuur. De patat smaakte alsof het 2x was gebakken dus taai. De milkshake smaakte naar siroop en veel te zoet. Kortom eens maar nooit weer!

Heerlijke lunch met twee gezinnne (9 in totaal). Kan niet anders zeggen als een top ervaring! Vriendelijk personeel, uitstekend eten, ruime indeling, schone toiletten. (oja de doorspoelknoppen van de urinoirs waren weg, maar desondanks prima in orde). Prijs/kwalitiet echt prima in orde, goede porties Gevolgd door een rondje glowgolf, dikke pret! Al met al een zondagmiddag prima besteed. Parkeren in omgeving overigens gratis op zondag, heel druk maar plekje kunnen scoren.

This was a one-time thing, and never again. First, no milkshake after asking several times. Then the chicken was cold. The schnitzels were overflowing with oil, apparently from the deep fryer. Coleslaw is apparently lettuce in their case. And the mac and cheese was terrible.

Albergo emociones encontradas para este establecimiento. Entramos a tomar un refresco, al pagar me di cuenta de que nos habían dado una fuerte tarifa de 31 € por tres míseras pintas. Eso ni siquiera son los precios de Londres. Esto era una carga financiera casi demasiado para soportar (lo siento Gran no calefacción para este mes). Después de castigarme con técnicas de respiración nativa americana (autodidacta, obviamente, después de ser atacado por lo que solo puede describirse como una abeja bastante grande) fui a pagar por el golf. Pregunté cuánto costaba, ‘€ 13 por el golf y una bebida’, excelente pensé. Los caballeros le hicieron un gesto a un refrigerador lleno de bebidas heladas, y yo olí algo sucio en el aire, una mentira tan cruel. En mi ingenuidad asumí que mi nariz me estaría jugando malas pasadas, por desgracia, este no fue el caso. Me informaron que cada bebida tenía un precio individual además de los 13. 50 para golf brillante. Al ser un hombre recién divorciado opté por el Duvel 6. 66 ya que era con mucho el más fuerte disponible. Al llevar esto a la caja me informaron de que serían 7 € adicionales, decir que estaba indignado era una exageración. Este establecimiento es tan sucio que huele a tejón muerto pudriéndose en la M5. La corrupción aquí abunda, al igual que la podredumbre seca en una casa victoriana, solo se puede eliminar demoliendo completamente y comenzando desde cero: matando la hierba en la raíz, la génesis. Dicho esto, el edificio en sí está bellamente amueblado, mientras que el glowgolf como actividad es una manera entretenida de perder algunas células cerebrales y matar una hora. La adición de las gafas 3D añadió una capa de emoción que no había sentido desde ‘esa’ noche en Estambul.

Amazing how a place with so much potential ruin all its qualities with little, but unbearable things. The atmosphere is great, nice music and vibe. But ever 5 minutes they turn on a loud blender, so loud that you can hear anything when its on! I can't express enough how terrible it was! Food was good. But took so much time to come out, we were starving. They got 3 items wrong. I suggest searching alternatives

It's a very slow service with just a few people in the restaurant. Just ordered one hot dog and one salmon and it took more than one hour to serve it. If you don't mind waiting 2 hours for a snack it's your place.

Delicious food at Hollywood Cafe! You can really make a whole evening here, for example by combining a dinner with golf. There are plenty of vegetarian options, and they serve halal snacks.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was good, but the staff looked like they didn't feel like it. We then had to wait an hour and fifteen minutes for the food. 2 people got their main course 45 minutes earlier than the rest. They kept saying the food would actually arrive, but we were given no indication of how long this would take. It was quite quiet in the restaurant. The food was lukewarm. We had indicated several times that we were missing 2 fries and then after 20 minutes we only received 1 bowl of fries. In the end we did get a 15% discount on our main courses and a free round of drinks, so it was resolved nicely! The glow golfing was a lot of fun, so I would definitely recommend doing this and then going through the McDrive!

Cozy atmosphere reminds me and my sisters of the Apple Bee restaurant from the 90s in Scheveningen... the four of us had a nice drink 💪🏿😎

We went here for dinner with a group, made a reservation. 3 planks of sandwiches in advance. That lasted forever. Board has 6 breakable bread pieces and enough spreads for at least double that amount. Not really value for money. At home in 8 to 10 minutes from the oven, at least half an hour if not longer. Service (plenty present, the rest of the tent was 20% full) does not know who has which drink, or which dish. Has no idea the food takes a long time. Main courses took much longer (no starters had been ordered), no communication at all until the end after we had already been reminded twice. Then there were two nice gentlemen who took up some coordination and also offered a drink to the last person who had nothing for the main course. But here again, no memory whatsoever about who ordered what, fries that were missing, etc. Ordered some desserts after the main course, but the waitress did not ask for part of the table, which made it even more chaotic. Ultimately we were seated from 5:30 PM to 8:15 PM, which is way too long for a group with young children and in fact only a main course with a few desserts. Some of the food was good, most of the burgers were way overcooked. Which was interesting since they were specifically asked if they should be a little red or well done. Those who indicated 'a little red' received fully cooked burgers. Long story short, beautiful tent, great appearance, but service very mediocre and kitchen much too slow. These are solvable issues, but they really need to be looked at carefully. I haven't received the tip for the dinner yet, but I fear that the prices are not in line with the quality offered.

We first played a round of glow golf and then had a bite to eat. The girls at the service were very enthusiastic and made the service run smoothly. The burger that was served was delicious and enough for a meal. The round of mini golf was surprising and fun. In short, a great restaurant for an evening of activity and dining out.

Delicious food, I've been there before. Cocktails are tasty and not too expensive. American burger is also deliciously juicy and full of flavor. The star of the show is really the mac n cheese with piri piri chicken. Best mac n cheese yet!

The restaurant is next to the cinema… At 19 agreed upon dinner before 20u. At 20 the kitchen starts preparing… we left without dinner to see the movie.

If you want something different than usual, this is highly recommended! Very nicely decorated restaurant, completely in film style. Plus points for the reasonable prices, the wonderfully presented children's menu and the friendly staff. The meat of the Philly cheese steak could have been cut thinner, that's the whole experience of such a sandwich. Portions are large, unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert anymore, we were very curious about the milkshakes!

Muy decepcionado. Mini Golf no fue el esperado, necesita ser renovado. Nuestra mesa estaba sucia y tuvimos que pedir dos veces que se limpiara. Esperamos unos 10 minutos a que se limpiara la mesa. La chica que nos sirvió nuestras bebidas vio la mesa sucia y no hizo nada al respecto. Cuando nuestra mesa fue finalmente limpiada tuvimos que movernos ya que el olor del trapo que el chico usó para limpiar nuestra mesa olía horrible y dejó un olor húmedo desagradable en la mesa. Los juegos se están desmoronando, faltan piezas y no es agradable jugar en absoluto.

A nice afternoon at Hollywood Café. Have fun with Glowgolf with the kids and then play nachos, snacks, drinks and games. All this for a nice budget. Average Euro 15.00 p.p. An afternoon of entertainment for the family. The film environment and atmosphere complete it.

It is a nice place, nicely decorated and there is a good atmosphere. The glow wave was also really fun! The bar staff is friendly and the menu offers a nice range of drinks. However, I would stick to a nice drink, for which we later paid two too many, but not order any food. My company and I were both ill after this evening; stomach ache, vomiting and shitting. This is not a nice review, but it is an honest one ✌🏻

Had a very nice evening at Hollywood Café Amsterdam. The glow golfing was completely different from what you are normally used to and it was very nice to see everything light up like that, this is a truly unique experience for the kids. After playing golf we had a delicious snack and there was nothing to complain about. The service was fast and the food was tasty. Definitely recommended to go!

Ordered two burgers and two milkshakes. Milkshakes were delicious and came quickly. After 40 minutes we asked where the food was. Answer: we haven't started yet because the cook is just coming in. Canceled food immediately. There is no excuse for asking why this is not told when ordering, but we alone cannot do anything about it. When ordering, please tell us immediately that the chef is not there yet (at a quarter past 6). No chance.

This is becoming sort of a tradition :) My son simply can't get enough of this place. And I don't blame him. We got welcome by the friendly staff and that makes all the difference! After playing a game of mini gold, which my son won, we had burgers and fries and OF COURSE a few rounds of fun board games. What a lovely place! Took my little 5 y/o boy to this wonderful place. You should’ve seen his face when we got there. The staff was so friendly and really showed him great time. We decided to stay for some dinner, while we were waiting on our food the waiter brought us board games to play. Glow in the dark Mini golf, Burger & fries, a shake and board games. This was nostalgia & the PERFECT way to spend your Sunday. I went a second time!!! Whoooppssss same amazing experience. 10 out of 10!!

At Hollywood Café you feel like you are in a film set or American diner, it is a truly unique experience! The cocktails are delicious and the food definitely deserves a 10. The service is top notch, the staff is friendly and attentive. I can't wait to go back and enjoy the great atmosphere and delicious food at Hollywood Café even more. It really is a must-visit!

I give three stars, everything from glow golf to a drink afterwards with a good friend of mine, I suddenly saw a mouse darting across the ground in the restaurant area. 🧐☹️ that's not something you want in a new fantastic business and don't want to see as a guest. Despite that moment of surprise, I had a great time the entire afternoon, hoping that they can also do something about the vermin.

Fantastic evening! We started with a drink at the bar, followed by glow golf and then had a bite to eat. A really top location, the whole look and feel is great. From the moment you step inside you immediately feel like you are in America. The glow wave is also well set up, tip wear a white t-shirt. My son (7) thought it was amazing, just like the children's menu served in an American taxi and for dessert he went for the cotton candy milkshake! We went for the nachos as a starter and as a main course the chicken satay (really super tender) and the carpaccio XXL nom nommm! The food was great, the atmosphere but also the staff! Nice and smooth service. We will definitely come back, thank you! 🤗🙌🏼

Overpriced and bad service. Last time we went there an old man approached saying “only customers could sit”. What?! I guess he thought we were beggars? We decided to ignore him, and he decided to show us the menu. We ordered, and a nice guy started serving us. But the first impression still was haunting us. I never ever faced this kind of situation before. So, I doubt i will return there.

The glow golf course is set up super fun! You will also find many cool details in the restaurant. The burgers were super tasty and the staff made us feel completely at ease!
