Both the pizzeria and the snack bar are terribly bad. The pizzas are the size of piccolinis and are tasteless. With the "normal" portion of fries, you get a whopping 11 fries in the container. Besides that, there's only one menu, and if it's not nearby, you have to guess at the prices and the selection...

Too expensive for what you get, you have to wait a very long time for your food and very bad service

Long wait. You get a child's portion, but pay for an adult portion. Very expensive. Unfriendly waiter. He has an explanation for everything.

What a dramatic mess here. Extremely long wait and disinterested terrace staff. Only 1 man from the kitchen did his best to serve. Rightly gave his colleagues a dressing down. Food in itself ok. But because of this experience and the associated high price a downright disappointment. Skip this place...

Expensive, small portions, terrible service

The food was terrible. Reheated schnitzel. No explanation given during the beer tasting. In short, very mediocre.

No attention for the customer. You can wait a long time for being able to place your order. Once you placed your order you are waiting for a long time for cold food to arrive. The food delivered does not match the details indicated in the menu (got bad shrimps instead of salmon, without any notification). The food seems to be mostly prepackaged, and just fried or reheated. You might think that it might have been very busy for lunch, but the place was only serving 3/4 tables. I came aware here aware that holiday parks like this do not provide quality experiences or food, but was still negatively surprised. The kids enjoyed the playroom though so there is that.

We had dinner with our kids in the restaurant of Roompot De Katjeskelder. The food was very tasty and was served quickly at our request, starter, main course and dessert. The tomato soup was delicious and very warm as soup should be. Chicken satay was very tasty with super satay sauce. The children also loved the chicken skewer with fries and ate everything. Nice that they were allowed to take the dinner plate with a print of Koos Konijn home with them afterwards. The people who work there are all very enthusiastic and hospitable, the atmosphere was great! We will definitely come back! Warm regards, Family de Blieck

When we left, we reserved breakfast for 14 people. This was downright bad. The rolls were overbaked, the eggs were blue and to make matters worse, the butter was out of date. We have been going on holiday with this group for a week for 30 years, but we have never had such a bad breakfast

We wanted to come and eat with our group of seven friends without making a reservation. A group of friends just came in ahead of us, so our arrival was actually too busy for the kitchen. After some consultation we were made welcome and we were helped super friendly and quickly. The food was really just fine. You shouldn't expect culinary delights in the catering industry at the holiday park, but that seems logical to me. In short, super friendly staff, great service!

Never had such bad fries or hamburgers before. The paywall didn't work. You had to join the back again. Waited an extra 1.5 hours. No excuse. It's better to bring an air fryer. Great atmosphere Harry was building up.

Food was downright bad! I had chicken satay which had a slightly spicier taste, then had diarrhea for 2 days, my wife had schnitzel with mushroom sauce, the sauce was dark brown and therefore looked more like thick-fat gravy. Things also always go wrong with drinks on the terrace. During our stay we had several times where the bill was more than what we ordered. TIP: Ask guests to show a key card when placing orders on house number, as some people abuse this.

A few days ago I ordered a coffee on the terrace of the restaurant, an hour and a half later the coffee was still not there. I couldn't pursue this earlier because my daughter was participating in a bingo event. Today my wife received a call from the restaurant asking if we had forgotten to pay for drinks? We didn't spend a second at the restaurant yesterday!!! I've never experienced anything like this before and I really wonder how they come to call us about this. I can't stand it when people falsely accuse you. We never gave our telephone number to the restaurant, so I don't know what's going on here.

It is better to find another restaurant nearby to have a nice meal, you can wait 45 minutes for your food, which unfortunately has little taste.... We won't do that again

Ordered food online today from the snack bar, which had been temporarily moved after a cart was removed due to renovations. The food will only be ready after 1 hour and 36 minutes later than the entered pick-up time. Employees did their best but could not cope with the amount of work. It was unclear why they are still taking orders if you know you are so behind. Fries and snacks were tasty and hot. Only the croquettes were limp and fell apart.

Ordered in advance, message was that there was a half hour delay. After an hour and a half and several 'yes, it won't take long', I finally received the order. In the meantime, the kids had already received a sandwich and had already been put to bed, without fries. Very disappointed, if they had been honest we would have ordered somewhere else and canceled this order.

Saturday 3/2/24 we went to eat at the restaurant of Roompot Katjeskelder. When booking I asked if there were gluten-free alternatives as I have a gluten allergy. The chicken stick with peanut sauce on the menu turned out to be gluten-free and I therefore chose this dish. I honestly didn't think the chicken stick tasted like chicken and didn't like it that much either. I didn't eat everything because of this. My friend sacrificed himself to eat the rest of my chicken stick. On Sunday 4/2/24 my friend started not feeling well in the afternoon. I also started not feeling well in the evening. The result of that evening was that we ended up in the hospital, diagnosed with food poisoning. I myself had to be admitted to the hospital in Breda on my birthday. Our weekend away ended on anything but a good note.

Took a long time for service, food was okay, the schnitzels were rock hard and the fish and chips were little. Furthermore, it was nice and the children received a clean children's plate afterwards as a souvenir.

Best burger I've had in a long time! Absolute value for money that a chain like De Beren can learn from👍

My daughter has a gluten allergy, so the choice is very limited. In the end she had fries and a croquette, but afterwards she had a lot of stomach pain. They do not get along well with this allergy. Other food was just fine. Service in the morning is also not good, you wait a very long time for your drinks and when they come they are just cold. Maybe some more staff?

We had dinner there on the first day of our stay 6/26/2923. I have a gluten allergy and lactose intolerance, which means I am not allowed to have a number of things. They recently had a new menu that didn't include anything I could eat. The service (very nice Man) although the previous card did contain some things that were suitable for me, but not anymore. Just whatever. I guess it is great for families with kids. The fact they try to upsl everything (the trampolines?!) is beyond me. The fact that you have to make your bed yourself is also beyond me. The towels are thinner than paper. When paying over 1.300 euros you’d expect them to at least make the bed for you. But no, you are expected to do it yourself and also to take the linens off again when leaving. The location is great. That’s about it.

Eating with the 4 of us was very quiet, more staff than visitors, and still poor service, the table was not cleared. And drinks took a very long time, food was nothing special. And finally, there was another leak.

I thought the food in the Katjeskelder restaurant was bad. The price/quality ratio in particular was hard to find.

Went for dinner with a group of 9 with 2 children. Nice coloring page for the little ones. Fries were tasty, schnitzels were fried to death in the fryer, I think. Price on the high side.

After a friendly welcome, we had a delicious lunch in the Katjeskelder restaurant. Drank a delicious cappuccino and ate a delicious sandwich.

Various nice facilities. Darts, bowling (4 lanes). An extensive bar and the option to have a drink or meal indoors and outdoors. Also a takeaway counter for pizza or fries snacks and various drinks. In short, plenty of options and entertainment.
