Had lunch outside on the terrace, very tasty and nice, friendly and smooth service.

We enjoyed another delicious lunch! There's plenty of seating inside and outside. There's so much to enjoy on the menu, so we'll definitely be back.

Super delicious food! First, I ordered a salad, which was delicious! Then I had pasta, also super delicious and flavorful. And the dessert was great too. The service was also super good and friendly!

One of my favourite cafes in Helmond. The presentation of their food is so nice and cute and the taste is yummy. The ice-cream, cappuccino and the pies are so creamy and fresh that you will want it more and more. The quality of the cream and milk is best. The place is right in the centre of the city with a pleasant ambience. Pet friendly. Dog friendly. The sitting is present inside as well as the outside sitting area. The area is windy and breezy and best to spend the weekend there just sitting alone, or having a chit chat with someone. You can also have takeaways from this place and enjoy at home. It has always been a great experience for me. I always visit this place often in the evenings.

Vandaag Caffè Freddo gedronken en Anti Pasti Il Borgo. -Caffè Freddo Kregen we direct last van onze maag. -Anti Pasti Il Borgo was karig en slecht. Bepaalde stukken vlees waren ondefinieerbaar en smerig. Salade was zeer slecht opgemaakt. Het leek erop dat het de restanten van de vorige klanten die ze erop hadden gekwakt.. We hebben de menukaart nog bekeken: alles is zeer prijzig. Een broodje voor slechts € 15 ??? Nee, wij komen hier niet meer, zonde geld.

We hebben catering besteld bij Il Borgo en het was echt super goed! Vooraf hebben ze goed meegedacht over de opties, het eten was op tijd geleverd en iedereen vond het eten erg lekker. Het zag er piekfijn uit en alles vers. Zeker een aanrader!

Great restaurant for a tasty Italian lunch. Sufficient variety of lunch dishes, fair prices and friendly staff. In the front of the building you can buy all kinds of tasty things, such as chocolate, pastries, coffee, wines, etc. Not cheap, but quality. Minus point: the restaurant is quite dark. A bit more mood lighting would not be an unnecessary luxury.

It’s a cute restaurant with plenty of space to sit outside as well. Prices are good, I had yummy bruschetta trio, it was fresh. They have also nice tea selection - perfect for tea lovers, was really good

We hadden met zijn tweeën een lunchplankje besteld een met zalm een met kip Soep koud , spaghetti smaakte helemaal nergens naar, en we vroegen om wat stokbrood ..kregen we 4 stukjes brood met ijskoude kruidenboter die niet te smeren was, daar moesten we ook nog 4,50 extra voor betalen..schandalig slecht

Zeer slecht , soep koud en de spaghetti olio kun je geen knoflook proeven ..eens naar nooit meer gaan wij hier baar toe ,,echt slecht

Very friendly service and the extensive lunch was delicious.

We often stopby here for a cup of tea or coffee. They have quite unique special tea every month. They also have a Corner of chocolate and imported Italian spices and oil. Great place for buying Italian food ingredients.

You can have a nice lunch here. Dinner not done yet. The wrong coffee was accidentally delivered. I didn't even realize it yet and the server immediately arranged the right one when he saw it. Very friendly staff. You can buy lots of delicious food and drinks, including canollis, chocolates, wines, beer, surprise packages and much more. Definitely worth a visit.

The products are good, there is also a shop that is great and I found the service very pleasant, we had something to eat there once and bought something.

The restaurant was full but we received our food very quickly after ordering. Very nicely dressed. The carpaccio was a little less, but the cheese and truffle sauce made it better

High wine geboekt voor 4 personen. Ruim 4 uur daar gezeten, 14.00-16.00, dus ongelofelijk lang wachten en dus met de drankjes die we gebruikt hebben om de tijd te overbruggen kom je op een belachelijk bedrag uit wat we moesten betalen. De porties waren zo klein dat we met honger daar weggingen. Alles was lekker maar de aanfluiting is zo groot dat we hier niet meer naar toe gaa.

Quality has deteriorated considerably. Previously, you would get a big bowl at lunch that would really fill you up. This has changed considerably, and prices have also risen considerably. So eat less for more money and also less tasty. Mediocre experience all in all.

Nice big outdoor area with umbrellas for sunny days. The seated indoor area is rustic and even prettier! Love the selection of pralines n cute patterned chocolate for taking away. Desserts are also to die for!

I ordered a very tasty ice cream on a cone, but unfortunately it fell off, so I went in to buy a new one, but that wasn't necessary, I just got a new one, they are so nice here! 😊🥹Really a great store to get an ice cream

Altijd lekker en goed. Goede producten en aardige bediening. Pluim voor Mara 👍 Prijs- kwaliteit ook prima. En vergeet niet een lekkere bonbon of cannelloni mee naar huis te nemen voor bij de koffie. Heerlijk!

Mijn echtgenoot en ik hadden vandaag voor de eerste en meteen voor de laatste keer hier gegeten. We hadden een lunch van vlees en een van vis. Vlees bestond uit 1 bospaddenstoelensoepje (smaakloos) kl.portie spaghetti met 4 schilfertjes Parmezaanse kaas doordrenkt in olijfolie (smaakloos) en een heel klein beetje salade (dat was redelijk). Ik zelf had bosuiensoep met een heel klein stukje vis erin ( smaakte een beetje naar erwtensoep) ook de smakeloze kl.spaghetti, een klein stukje vis en dezelfde redelijke salade. 2 frisdrank voor de prijs van nog net geen € 40. SCHANDALIG We zouden een ander soepje mogen, maar die hebben we niet geaccepteerd. Dat was alles.

Wij kwamen hier altijd met plezier. Echter zijn de prijzen, de service en de kwaliteit de afgelopen tijd zóver achteruit gegaan dat we hier geen plezier meer aan beleven. €34 voor een karige borrelplank, €8,50 voor een Aperol Spritz en bijvoorbeeld €4,50 voor 2 lullige sneetjes brood met een kladje kruidenboter. Schandalig. En dan ook nog overal superlang op moeten wachten. Dan lopen we liever naar de haven, waar alles minstens 20% goedkoper is. Jammer hoor…

Delicious and in the heart of Helmond!

Last Friday we had a very good meal there, with each course accompanied by a surprisingly delicious glass of wine. Of course an espresso with Grappa afterwards. Until next time

I'm now having a high tea at Il Borgo, after 45 minutes I had 1 cup of tea... Delicious tea & got some chocolates. Unfortunately no staff, waiting times are absurd as is the lack of knowledge. Shame! We are hungry and thirsty... curious when there will be a second course. 2nd course was very tasty! A salmon soup. Unfortunately they forgot the tea (part of our high tea). Curious about the next round. This one was tasty! A plate with all kinds of delicacies. However, the 4th round remains behind again. Unfortunately, the service is not getting any friendlier either. Only 30 minutes before they close and we're still missing the entire hallway.

Delicious vegetarian lunch dish. Upstairs, in a cozy room. The toilet is in the basement, you must be able to climb stairs well.

Delicious pastry in the shop. A restaurant at the back. Delicious penne. Excellent and smooth operation. Nice interior too.

The place is beautiful, traditional and cosy. Great atmosphere. Good service also. Clean bathroom. Although the food wasn’t as expected. A LOT of garlic (too much!!) in the salad (we ordered the insalata di manzo). I couldn’t even finish the dish. (And, for the description in the menu, there wasn’t ANYTHING that mentioned garlic). Not only that, the color of the meat didn’t seem normal for me. It was too purple; not red. Not fresh.

Had another delicious lunch. The fish lunch trio is so delicious with a spring onion soup with smoked salmon, salad with baked salmon and delicious spaghetti. For dessert the great cappuccino, mmmmmm!

Goede service, heerlijk gegeten

I liked the food and the staff was very kind, the interior is attractive with its originality. By and large, everything was not bad, exactly until a few more tables sat around us. If you want to eat and socialize in peace, then this place is not worth choosing, as the noise was so loud that I had to practically shout for my boyfriend to hear me, sitting opposite me. Maybe it’s the acoustics of the building or the too dense arrangement of tables, I don’t know, but I find it a great discomfort not to be able to just communicate calmly.

Hier waan je je even in Italië. Heerlijk eten, geen poespas gewoon goede kwaliteit en zoals het hoort. Daar wordt een mens blij van, ga zo door!!

Lekker eten, heerlijke bonbons en koekjes, ook in de winkel. Terras zou iets gezelliger kunnen.

Een goede kop cappuccino en heerlijke zoetwaren en gebak. Echt kwaliteit!

Op een zondagmiddag, 32 graden, op het terras gezeten, vriendelijk personeel, goede, snelle bediening, fantastische pasta arabiata!

Lekker koffie en taartjes. Al kan de bediening wel iets netter, vriendelijker en beter. Wel hadden we de laatste keer fijne bediening, bood netjes haar excuses aan voor het lange wachten en was vriendelijk :)

Lekkere ijscappuccino. De lunchgerechten zagen er goed uit en smaakten prima.

Op het gezellige en sfeervolle Italiaans aangeklede terras van Il Borgo een heerlijke scropinno gedronken. Met het warme weer zeer welkom! Er zat in mijn glas per ongeluk een barst, even aangegeven en binnen een paar minuten kreeg ik al een nieuwe op een overvol terras! Goede en snelle service dus en lieve bediening. Voor het eten komen we nog eens terug!

Il Borgo is gehuisvest in een prachtig pand. Een grote diversiteit aan gebak, chocolade etcetera. Hebben op het terras heerlijke koffie met gebak genuttigd.

Lekker ice koffie. 👌Cannoli and ice cream wasn’t as tasty as I expected. It is possible to find cute gift packages for special occasions.

Waiting for a long time, for the perfect moment, to visit this place. Didn't go quite as I was expecting. Coffee was ok, nothing much to say about it. Same goes for the service, even though new staff was being trained at that moment and we got only one separate plate (we were 2), but they do have to learn - so it's understandable. Everyone was friendly and fast. Went for lunch and ordered one of those meals to share "get the Italian culinary experience". Not impressed - is an understatement. The tomato soup was quite difficult to eat, the "hot" food was barely warm, the grilled vegetables were soggy, cold, and had that "fridge" after taste. The meat and cheese were... let's say I've had much better. The bruschetti let me down as well - the tomatos lacked quality and the topping mix was generally bland. The mini sandwiches were ok - the only items we have actually finished. Before going in, I was planning to go all the way through dessert too. Unfortunately, the less than average experience changed my mind. Having said that, I still want to give them another chance. Maybe they were just having "one of those days", and judging by the reviews - my experience should've been completely different. So I'll return and give it another go.

We hadden een 4 gangen high tea Dat viel erg tegen zeker voor die prijs

Moederdagbrunch was een tegenvaller. Kosten 29,50 pp. Hiervoor kreeg je n soepje , een schaal met koude halve krieltjes met spekjes, 3 half afgebakken koude en n beetje taaie minibroodjes , n mini chocoladebroodje (dezelfde die ik in een afbakzakje minibroodjes gemengd bij Jan Linders koop) en 'n al oudere sandwich. Het toetje was een grote lange vinger die in witte chocolade was gedoopt en n aantal stukjes aardbei in balsamicosaus(?) Met n beetje hangop. Drankjes waren voor eigen rekening. IL BORGO GEEN BRUNCH MEER ORGANISEREN. Jammer. Wel lief personeel.

Heerlijke lunch, Fijne sfeer, wel wat aan de prijzige kant voor wat je krijgt, porties zijn minimaal. Voor mij voldoende, maar kan begrijpen dat het voor een ander te weinig zal zijn.

Alles is hier lekker! De pasta, de thee, de koffie, het gebak, de chocola, de nootjes. Een mooie sfeer, goede service en een prachtig pand.

Vandaag een ijsje gegeten. 1.70 euro voor een hoorntje met 1 bolletje, maar het bolletje was echt te klein. Leek meer op een half bolletje. Ijs was wel echt lekker, maar echt te weinig. Ijssalon Il Circo in Mierlo heeft ongeveer dezelfde prijs danwel niet lager, even lekker maar je krijgt veel meer ijs. Geldt ook voor ijssalon Bacio in Mierlo-Hout. Die heeft ook ongeveer dezelfde prijs danwel niet lager, even lekker maar ook veel meer ijs. Ook ijssalon Kees in Brandevoort heeft lekkere ijs met een vergelijkbare prijs, maar krijg je meer ijs. Dus ik hoop dat Il Borgo iets met mijn advies gaat doen. Dan wil ik best nog wel eens keer jullie ijs proberen.

Mooie locatie, prettig en vriendelijk personeel. Goede wijnen, spijs redelijk, niet vers gemaakt daar waar het wel zou kunnen. Pesto, ontdooide carpaccio, fabrieksbrood. Personeel top en dat in deze tijd zegt ook iets over het management.

Wat een geweldige gerechten vooral het verrassing menu. Ik heb echt heerlijk gesmuld.

Vandaag geluncht bij il Borgo. Heerlijk gegeten en goede service!

What a find.. our go to when in Eindhoven or Helmond. Fantastic staff and really delicious food .. An amazing shop filled with Canapés and treats .. the sandwiches are top notch
