An example restaurant! How friendly and helpful the service is, I have never experienced before. The extensive lunch was also delicious. A real recommendation!

If you want to enjoy the real authentic Italian kitchen, Dolce & Gusto is the place to be. We had the Deluxe plank and the surprise dessert to share. An absolute must. We will come back more often, that's for sure!

Even with a reservation weeks before had to wait 45 mins for a table and another hour for food which they blamed on my wife because she wanted her steak well done .. will not go back again .. I never leave bad reviews but this was a special kind of aggravation

Delicious food, nice atmosphere and super friendly staff. Enjoyed the homemade limoncello as a finish. It was our first visit but we will definitely come back.

Update May 2025: Had dinner here once this evening. We sat outside because of the nice weather and it was great. Opted for the 5 course menu, although the dishes were not entirely surprising because they came from the standard menu, the portions were good and tasty. They are therefore large portions. The downside is that rucalo is thrown on everything, if you have refined tastes then this green food is unnecessary. Drinks are not cheap, but there is a lot of diversity and what I can certainly appreciate are the Sicilian drinks. Homemade limoncello is a nice ending. The service was good this evening, we were greeted kindly at the bar and the employee serving was friendly and hospitable. And even though the voucher was a bit on the higher side €190/2p, we enjoyed the evening and certainly didn't skimp on what we ate and drank. 2023: Lunch was fine, fresh and surprising. We opted for the 12 hour. There were two tables occupied on a Saturday afternoon, which was far too low. As a result, you also missed atmosphere, there was Italian music, but an Italian experience was missing. The waiter was not enthusiastic and here too the Italian atmosphere was missing. It was all very bashful and reserved, not at all like Italy. When we left we were not given any information about their new menus etc. To attract customers I would be more enthusiastic about this. We will go back for dinner in a while, hopefully we will get a different impression. It is a beautiful building and the ideas are good, now it's time for further implementation.

DUUUUUUUURRRR!!! Had high tea with 1 adult and two children aged 10 and 14 because we had a voucher, €118 is charged, for the little we ate 5-star prices were charged by the owner, hello, what are we doing!? The waiter was a suitable guest!

We opted for a four-course surprise menu, between courses we were asked if we were ready for the next course. This personal attention does make a difference. Well-coordinated dishes and a nice range of wines that fall into an affordable price category. Our 1st time here was very enjoyable. Definitely worth repeating.

My mother and I had a very delicious meal. The atmosphere is cozy, the interior is beautiful and the atmospheric Italian music made the day complete. We were helped very well by Renee, who provided a welcoming and warm experience. The cuisine is delicious, and the chef really spoiled us with refined dishes. My mother enjoyed an excellent glass of wine, which paired perfectly with her meal and complemented the flavors beautifully. Dolce & Gusto gave my mother and me an unforgettable moment of pure pleasure. We will definitely come back!

Food is choice, of course. Wines were disappointing, unfortunately too many old regions and no top wines. Nice atmosphere. Design is fine, quality could be higher.

I have eaten in many restaurants, especially in my working life, including the better ones. But I have rarely experienced the level of food here. Absolutely great! Starter, main course and dessert are all equally special. And very pleasant service. I will definitely come back here more often...

Food is fine but not great, unfortunately a number of negatives. You only get the expensive menu. But they also have a pasta/pizza menu, but you really have to ask for it, not so politely, you prefer to sell the more expensive dishes. If you order pasta, pay 2.50 extra for permenan cheese! You also pay extra for a chocolate with your coffee. Cutlery is not very accurate, no spoon for pasta and a sharp carving knife. Ordering drinks is also difficult, after insisting 3 times we finally got a beer. Friendly and correct service, but certainly some points of attention. So price/quality does not yet match.

Instead of ordered white bread, lunch was served on dark brown bread. Otherwise enjoyed an excellent meal.

Delicious food for a price that was just too high. The food was fine, but the owner/cook had said €0.50 extra on the €120 bill for a little bit of oregano on the starter. I have never experienced this before, so you don't understand what it is. Italian hospitality is and €10.50 for two limocello is also well paid, the boy with glasses knows how it should be done and is super friendly and knows what working in the catering industry is like

Quite disappointing, poor (not trained) service kept talking to us mumbling and made one mistake after another..... Asked for olive oil/vinegar salt and pepper. They put a tray on which everything was sticky with dirt. We had a 6 course surprise menu, but after 2 rather ordinary, unrefined dishes we asked for the bill and left. The waiter was willing to offer a modest bill and apologized, but understood our comment. Really missed opportunity, we were so looking forward to tasting Italian cuisine... And serving bread with 2 plastic tubs containing butter and a spread is really not possible in my opinion, it feels very cheap.

Had dinner here tonight; provided that the main menu (ravioli filled with rhubarb in a truffle sauce with diamond tenderloin) was especially delicious, but a bitter aftertaste, the service asks if we want Parmigiano with the main menu and then charges €2.50 per bowl (2 bowls). while one bowl was enough). When we asked for the bill, the waiter asked if he could offer us another glass of Limoncello and then charge €5.25 each for it... Too bad, but a letdown for us as far as this restaurant is concerned.

Portobello could have been a little more seasoned. Garnish was very good. Pizza carpacia was very tasty. Place the piza on a lukewarm plate to avoid cooling. Penne diamond hare was very tasty. Very tasty cheese. So without the nitpicking, it is highly recommended. Throw in some Italian atmosphere and it's perfect!

We arrived at 6:00 PM to have a nice dinner. We had the Dinningcity voucher with us for this reservation (received from our daughter). Upon arrival, my wife kindly asked if we could also use a menu, knowing that in accordance with the conditions we would only receive a 'discount' on the total amount. By the way, we are not 'cheap' eaters, because the last time we paid 185 euros in this same restaurant. However, the lady behind the bar kept telling me repeatedly that this was not possible. What do you mean, flexible and willing to listen to what the customer would like? We first asked if the manager/boss could come over, but that was not possible because he was busy. That really rubbed us the wrong way and we indicated that we would just leave. After asking one more time if we could discuss this with the 'boss', we were again told that the 'boss' was busy. We then left, annoyed. My wife stayed outside and I went back inside to ask for the 'boss' one more time. But again not possible, until a friendly young man came along. service did go to the kitchen. Then we were 'kind of told' that it was possible (note: in accordance with the conditions as can be read on the site). When we got home it now says on the website that we did not show up (no show). What a brat ('cheeky') to say that. I called later that evening and was now able to speak to the owner/boss. The owner stated that I should apparently have sent an email first to indicate that we would like to be able to choose from the various starters, main courses and desserts (in accordance with Dinningcity's terms and conditions). Subsequently, it appears from the argument v.d. owner that he received a completely different story from his staff, as if 'requirements' had already been made upon arrival and that we also treated the staff unfairly. The only thing I can say is that this was certainly not the case, because that's not how you come in if you want to have a nice evening out for dinner. Anyway, the owner has to believe what he wants. In any case, we will never return there.

Nice menu with a wide choice of real fresh Italian dishes and many types of wines. The restaurant is very attractively decorated, especially on the first floor! I had a really delicious meal! Thanks Cos! I will definitely come back again.

Had a nice meal with a bunch of colleagues in a cozy room on the first floor. The chef/owner had done his utmost to put various tasty dishes on the table. Staff also did their utmost to make us happy.

Nice place with an eye for detail

Amateurish staff, had to ask for bread in advance, after which we had to wait 25 minutes and the starter came straight away. While we were eating, home delivery couriers came to collect the orders 2 meters from our table and that also took about 10 minutes. The starter was fine, but my duck fillet was served without the fat edge over the skin, so it was very soggy. We definitely won't be back there again. Otto from Helmond

Ate here for the first time. Reservations are recommended if you want to be sure of a table. Owner is a friendly woman. The guys at the service are very neat and correct and can also make a joke and appreciate it. Food is also good and the choice is great 😃 I was surprised with a 4-course menu with wine pairing. All very tasty. We went home satisfied at half past eight. We will definitely go back someday. Italian restaurant where you should definitely eat at least once.

My pizza was delivered in an open box. There was something spilled inside and half of my pizza was wet. I ordered pizza with prosciutto but instead the pizza was with ham.

Nice little restaurant. The food and staff were great! What is on the board is also clearly explained to the children.

For the 1st time at Dolce Gusto, 31-01-2024 nice restaurant, good menu, lots of wines. Had a nice lunch of individual dishes. But what a disappointment when we got the bill. Half of the bill was for the wine from the tasting table alone. Of which 1 wine cost €16.50 The other wine 5x was €9.90 So a total of €65 for 6 wines. I said something about it, but the answer I got was that the boss is not allowed to mention the prices of the wines. Very strange, I believe that you can and should be somewhat open with wines from a tasting table according to the rules that a customer must be able to clearly see what the prices are. Sour aftertaste of a nice afternoon. Which I then give a score of 2…this is because of the conscious withholding of information. Shame Furthermore, the staff is friendly and helpful

Even vergeten mijn oude account te activeren voor de review. Heerlijk eten, bijzondere drankjes uit Italië. Vriendelijke mensen. 2x geweest voor lunch, maar het volgende bezoek wordt een diner. Verrassingsmenu met tót 10 gangen, wat wijn en water erbij, klinkt fantastisch.

Goede kwaliteit eten. Breed aanbod aan bijzondere drankjes. Italiaanse frisdrank van bijvoorbeeld bloedsinaasappel, verschillende tonics en Italiaanse likeuren. Ik ben een grote eter, dus de lunch plank is wat mij betreft nét te weinig. Prijs kwaliteit hoeveelheid is echter wel meer dan redelijk. Binnenkort eens het diner gaan proberen.

We hebben een heerlijke avond gehad. Door de wonderbox hier gekomen en zeker niet de laatste keer. Leuke mensen, goed eten en een top sfeer! Bedankt voor de top avond!!

Het was gewoon niet goed. Wij hadden ons erg verheugd om hier te eten zeker na het lezen van de recensies. Ik neem dus aan dat zeker beter kunnen. We hadden een 4 gangen menu besteld. De afzonderlijke gerechten pasten niet bij elkaar maar waren ook niet goed bereid. Het tussengerecht, truffelrisotto, smaakte naar suiker en niet naar truffel. Het menu was dit restaurant onwaardig. Het bijpassende wijnarrangement was goed en ruim geschonken.

We aten met bon en daarbij nog afgerekend. In totaal bijna 90 euro. Ik vond het teveel voor wat we gehad hebben. Maar het was leuk en gezellig.

Heerlijk gegeten! De carpaccio met truffel, focaccia, diamanthaas, pizza carpaccio, tiramisu. Alles was even lekker! Week later: pizza parma afgehaald, heeeerlijk!

Slow inefficient personel. One hour until first bite. By phone the outside terrace was closed. At arrival it appeared to be open. We could sit there. Were asked to move to fit more people while restaurant was not even half full. Food is medioker and relatively expensive.

Zo gezellig restaurant. Je hebt het gevoel dat je in de huiskamer zit. Voorgerecht de luxe besteld en dat was zo lekker en een grote portie. We hebben nog een nagerechtje besteld. Goede uitleg van de bediening voor wijn en eten en super vriendelijk. Het was ons erg goed bevallen en de volgende keer gaan wij op de fiets, zodat we wat meer lekkers kunnen bestellen. Het is zeker een aanrader

Prima gegeten bij dolce en gusto. De chef heeft passie en verstand van Italiaanse etensbereiding. Personeel is wel goed getraind in bij verkoop ;-). Maar ook dat is smaakvol opgegeten!! Het is dat het niet netjes is om de borden af te likken anders had ik dat gedaan :-). Aanrader!!!

Nadat wij om 21.30 nog iets zochten om te eten kwamen we terecht bij Dolce&Gusto. Dat dit zo mooi had kunnen uitpakken was voor ons een enorme verassing. Erg gastvrije en lieve gepassioneerde eigenaars, heerlijk eten (tournedos met gorgonzola saus is een aanrader) en wat een mega knaller van een Amarone. Aanrader als je in de buurt van Helmond bent.
