I've been here so many times and have never had anything other than the 4-cheese pasta. Simply because it's so good.

Running a restaurant for 54 years and still going strong? It has to be good. Friendly, authentic, and even the pre-teen loved it.

Hello! I don't usually leave reviews but this time I ordered an Italian carbonara, I mean I specified this, I said, if it's not carbonara, don't do anything..but there were spaghetti with butter..carbonara is made with egg, pecorino, guacialle. In a word, AWFUL, I threw everything out the window, I don't recommend it!

Had dinner with family yesterday in honor of my wife's birthday. What a disappointment. It all started with the order, which took a very long time to process. Then an ordered main course is brought as a starter. They "accidentally" forgot two people for the main course. Pizza was hard, dry and the extra cheese for €5 extra could not be found. A bottle of water had to cost no less than €7.50 and out of misery we took the plates etc from the starter to the bar ourselves because we couldn't pick it up. No, as good as it was with the old owner, it is now very bad. This was the last time we set foot in there.

I ordered the onion soup as a main course and the shrimps with garlic and cream sauce as a main course. I got the shrimps without cream sauce as a starter and the owner forgot what I had as a main course. I received a glass of coke with the previous users' lipstick on it, but I had to go to the counter for a new glass. We put our plates and cups of soup on the counter ourselves, but they had not been picked up after 30 minutes. There was a lot of time between the main courses and the owner did not remember exactly what everyone had ordered as a main course, so he came to ask. The food was not tasty and way too expensive. The moment we paid and got up, the owner played really loud music "long may she live" for my mother's birthday, this was clearly the wrong time. All in all it was a big disappointment.

I had ravioli with salmon and shrimp. Very satisfied with the number of shrimp! Not at all satisfied with the ravioli. Besides the fact that I didn't find it very tasty/tasty, the pasta was too hard. Especially the pieces that were stuck together were still very hard. For dessert I had tiramisu. I thought we had to wait quite a long time, but I don't mind. The cake was very dry and the rest was still half frozen. I assume it wasn't fresh. Not recommended unfortunately! I don't understand why this restaurant has more than 4 stars.

The quality here has deteriorated dramatically. This cannot call itself Italian. I'm really a risotto fan but this was the worst I've ever had. It looks like plain rice soaked in pasta sauce with some seafood. And the cannelloni is also so bad, it looks like a goat has been ground instead of minced. Very unfortunate, it could have been done well years ago, but this is really below par! Unfortunately La Sicilia was on holiday, but next time we will definitely go there.

Had dinner at la perla tonight, but you can only pay for the entire table. Then you have to settle it yourself. There was nothing more to talk about because it took up too much time. We have been coming here during carnival for years, but this was the last time, what poor service.

The waitress was very friendly, even though we had a language barrier (no German, little English). We both ordered the carbonara, although it wasn't possible to get it with tagliatelle (which is also on the menu), only with spaghetti or maceroni. The reason given to us was that this was too strenuous for the kitchen. Instead of maceroni, penne rigatte was delivered at the end. As a starter there were free rolls with herb butter that came fresh from the oven. Before we had finished eating it, less than 8 minutes after ordering, the pasta arrived. (Very quick for freshly cooked pasta) the Carbonare tasted OK, not the best, not the worst. (With cream, therefore not an original carbonara). The drinks came in a 0.2L glass with ice cubes, so we paid just under €3.50 for four sips of cola. When we wanted to pay at the end, I had asked at the beginning whether card payment was possible, but we were told that Visa cards were not accepted... Finally I had to pay via bank transfer from my cell phone.

Super gezellig restaurant, het was wel erg warm binnen maar dat was niet gek met 20 graden. Niet heel druk dus we kregen de volle aandacht. Lekker eten en goede wijn.

Al jaren kom ik hier regelmatig om te genieten van heerlijk eten. De pizza’s en pasta’s zijn echt heerlijk! En niet te vergeten de kleine broodjes met kruidenboter die La Perla tekent. En wat een fantastisch lief personeel. Ik zal nog vele malen terug komen, om er te eten maar zeker ook om af te halen!

Het was heerlijk! De Insalata Caprese als voorgerecht was verukkelijk, verse tomaten, romige mozzarella en basilicum. Als hoofdgerecht koos ik voor de Filleto die Pepe en mijn vrouw ging voor de Filleto Barolo. Ze waren perfect. Ook zaten hier frietjes en een frisse salade bij. klasse eten voor zo een prijs. Het personeel was ook erg vriendelijk, ik mocht ook een van hun huiswijnen proeven. Het is absoluut een plek waar we graag terugkeren!

Super gastvrij en bijzonder lekker eten. Gewoon zoals je verwacht !!!

Eerst het goede, de broodjes met kruidenboter zijn lekker en de bediening is goed. Na 1 uur wachten vroeg ik of de antipasto eindelijk kon komen. Nou die kwam en was verschrikkelijk, supermarkt salami, een van de meest smerigste mortadella, 1 plak vreselijke nederlandse ham en 2 olijven op een bord met sla gedonderd. Inktvisringen gefrituurd waren oké, maar je kon aan de slappe friet proeven dat dit in 1 pan gefrituurd is. Pizza's waren oké maar zeker niet Italiaans maar meer van een shoarma tent kaliber. De hoofdgerechten kwamen na anderhalfuur nadat we het wederom moesten vragen. Het interieur dateert uit de jaren 80 en is een sprong terug in de tijd. Ik denk dat de eigenaren Arabieren of egyptenaren zijn, en dan geef ik de tip "schoenmaker houd je bij je leest" dus stop met Italiaans eten bereiden, je beledigd op deze.manier het lekkere eten uit Italië.

Eten was koud toen het geserveerd werd. Stukjes bot in mn eten. Mixed grill was smakeloos. Als je lekker wil eten ga je niet hier heen. Spijt dat we hiervoor gekozen hebben met 2e kerstdag.

We waren voor de eerste keer in Helond en gingen iets te laat op zoek naar een restaurant. We gaan bijna sluiten hoorden we overal. Bij La Perla aangekomen vroegen we ogen we nog snel iets kleins mochten eten. We mochten uit de hele kaart kiezen en de eigenaar bleef langer en kookte voor ons. Super lief en lekker gegeten. 2 dagen later terug gegaan op een normale tijd en toen ook een lekker dessert genomen. Gastvrijheid ten top hier.

Lang geleden dat wij zo lekker hebben gegeten echt top 👌en gezellig sfeer met vriendelijke personeels , echt familie restaurant.

Op een maandagavond met mijn 3 dochters geweest. Goed gegeten en redelijke prijzen. Jammer dat je geen glaasje water bij je koffie kunt krijgen en alleen tegen betaling.

Lekker gegeten. Zeker voldoende. Personeel erg vriendelijk. Ook de eigenaar kwam nog even een praatje maken. Lang geleden dat we er geweest waren. Restaurant niets veranderd. Straalt nog altijd een warme Italiaanse sfeer uit. Komen zeker terug.
