Lovely small restaurant, went here for dinner with my partner whilst on holiday in Amsterdam and was very impressed with the meal and service. It was very relaxed and had a lovely atmosphere 🙂

Poached eggs were overcooked, and the chocolate milk was not appetizing at all. The other dishes were quite good.

Nice staff, Didn't eat so can't rate the food, it looked good. The coffee was good.

The food was good, but the waiters were eating at 8pm in their corner instead of serving us, so after a 30-minute wait, we preferred not to have dessert.

Delicious food for an affordable price

We had three different pasta dishes, all excellent. (Carbonara, Chicken & Mushrooms and Tortellini (cheese and spinach). Although the carbonara uses some cream, you’ll forget about that after the first bite. Sooooooo good!

Good pasta, good pizza, good prices

Today we had lunch there. Tosti for my son, spaghetti with gamba's for my wife and I had Ossobuco with spaghetti. The food was prepared with fresh ingredients and it tasted delicious. The service was very friendly and fast. We certainly will return here when I am back in Amsterdam.

Il Panorama is a wonderful spot that combines great food with a stunning setting overlooking the water. The service was both speedy and friendly, making us feel welcome right away. We were lucky to be seated in a beautiful spot overlooking the canals, which added so much charm to the experience. I ordered the spaghetti salmon and absolutely loved it—it was fresh, flavourful, and perfectly tender. Honestly, had I known how good it would be, I would have returned every day during our stay. The whole experience felt warm and genuine, thanks to the attentive staff and the inviting atmosphere. Many thanks to everyone at Il Panorama for a memorable meal. We look forward to returning the next time we visit.

Wow, what a delicious meal we had here! I had the spaghetti with chicken and my wife had ravioli. Both were delicious. I don't think I've ever had such delicious spaghetti. A nice, large wheat beer and it was complete. Friendly staff too. Definitely recommended, and I'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, these fries weren’t quite to my taste. They were very thick, lacked salt, and felt quite plain overall. At €7 for a small portion, with additional charges for basic sauces like ketchup or mayonnaise, the pricing felt steep for what was offered. The outlet is right on the main road, which is a plus. The ambience looked nice and welcoming, but the overall experience didn’t quite match the expectations. Not a bad spot, but there might be better options nearby.

Pasta is freshly made to order and it’s delicious. The pizza called Pastel pizza was epic. The truffle oil and buffalo cheese was so good. The pasta Carbonara was excellent. The canal nearby is under construction right now, which means that it may be less busy than usual, but the service was great and the food is divine. As an added bonus just above the doors of the restaurant a cat lives and it is pretty adorable.

Average food, the glass with which water was served was smelling of raw chicken. Green omelette was no where green, 2 pieces of leaves were thrown in and it was overral pretty oily.

The restaurant is located on the corner of an already exciting building. There are a few tables by the river, a few on the street, and a few inside. I was impressed by the large number of staff members, who were super attentive. I ordered the Pasta Funghi, which I highly recommend, and paid a fair €20 for it along with a drink.

The place offers outside seating with a great view. The atmosphere is great and the staff is kind. We ordered the vegetables pizza which is okay, but the pasta was good. The espresso martini was great! The cocktails are worth trying.

We came across this restaurant spontaneously because the shop is rather inconspicuous due to the construction site. We were still impressed by the food, drink and service. Although the theme is Italian food and the pizza and pasta are awesome, the spare ribs and the burger have absolutely nothing to hide...amazing. Would come back at any time.

We stopped there by chance because we wanted to have a hot drink to warm up, and we were not disappointed! The place upstairs is chic, cozy and elegant, with a comforting vintage Italian feel. The waiters are very friendly, we didn't order just a coffee, a ginger infusion and a caramel tartlet, it was a good snack break in winter!

We were really happy about the nice gesture from the pizza maker. He made our day. In addition, the pizza was delicious and the service was quick😊 The ambience could still be worked on. The location is great!

This restaurant made our Amsterdam visit experience more memorable🥰 Such a lovely place, with pleasant atmosphere & aesthetics, joyful & helpful staff and AMAZING food. The price was average to low for Amsterdam, but the quality of the food was incredible! Especially the carbonara👌 one of the best I've had. Our waiter Aberto was lovely and kind, and even the playlist of the music that was playing in the background was tasteful. I definitely recommend it if you happen to pass by that area💟

Gret place. We visited twice during our for days stay. It’s located in a quite busy intersection with a lot of things happening. If you don’t like the traffic and pedestrians then don’t. But for me it was perfect. Lovely beers and delicius food 👌🏼

We stopped by for coffee. A sweet 2-storey cafe by the canal. The employee from Uzbekistan was very friendly and a very good person. He was helpful and hard-working. We thank him. We sat upstairs, it wasn't crowded when we went, we had a pleasant time.

The food was quite good, honorable mention to the soup, the service was terrible, we received the food but not the cuttlery and when we asked for it the waitress just grumbled and we had to wait around ten minutes while she played around with the spoons and scrolled through tik tok. Then another waiter replaced her and he was ok.

We discovered this restaurant by chance during our stroll through the streets of the city. Everything was perfect. We had a great time and will not hesitate to come back for an English breakfast.

We spontaneously stopped in for a pizza. It was busy, the service was unobtrusive and not Italian. The pizza was okay, not an exceptional selection in general but simple dishes. Soft drinks are too conventional for me. The prices are a bit too high. Still ok in the area because there is little choice at this place. Atmosphere was very loud and stuffy. Ambiance upstairs is seemingly renovated compared to downstairs. Very steep stairs to the top where the toilets are. Unfortunately the latter were very dirty.

The food was very nice and prices are fairly decent for Amsterdam. We spent just over €80 for two main courses with two mimosas and two desserts and two coffees which I think is a very fair price for good food. I sadly did not get any pasta but the pasta dishes all looked very delicious so if I came back I’d have to try the pasta. I got a pizza which was good and my partner got the spare ribs which he said were excellent. The cheesecake was lovely, my brownie wasn’t the best it was a bit bland but that’s okay not everything can be great. The service was also good the waiters and waitresses are lovely and polite.

We came back to this place because we spent a wonderful afternoon there a few years ago. Unfortunately, we were deeply shocked at how drastically the quality had deteriorated in all respects. The staff is by far the worst and most unprofessional we have ever seen, except for one young woman. We sat upstairs. A young man did not welcome us, took our orders incorrectly several times and brought us the wrong thing without apologizing. It took ages until we received something new. If I were the owner I would fire him immediately, he seemed like he had zero interest in his job and unfortunately also zero competence. Definitely in the wrong place. To make matters worse, unfortunately the drinks and food we ordered were a failure. The mulled wine was served to us in sticky glasses, half full and cold, which we then complained about. They probably only put the glasses in the microwave for a short time because then they were boiling hot and the taste was unfortunately so bitter that you couldn't drink them with the best will in the world. The wrong beers were served and then the wrong size. The food was bone dry, stale and old. The worst thing of all was the way we handled our experience, neither the waiter nor his so-called "supervisor" (who came after half an hour when we had already finished) showed no interest in us or apologized in any way, but only pointed out that that we should have understanding because there was so much to do. We all work in the catering industry ourselves and can therefore clearly differentiate between stressful situations and poor quality/lack of competence. Since the location is great and we had a good experience, I would like it to improve, but the staff should be replaced. We won't be coming back. Very unfortunate.

There were six of us and we all had a great time in this restaurant!! The pasta dishes are copious and really delicious, the pizzas well garnished: I recommend, the food is worth its price

Went here for dinner last night. After taking our drinks order, the waitress immediately went on her break without properly handing us over to the waiter who was totally confused what we ordered. The pizza oven is too hot so while it’s cooked on the outside, it’s still raw & not cooked properly on the inside. Very cute heart-shaped pizzas so it’s a pity it wasn’t cooked through. The spaghetti is a nice pasta but the bolognese was a bit bland as was the chicken with spaghetti. Chef needs some work … Pricy for very average food.

We visited this restaurant during the holidays. The atmosphere was pleasant. Special thanks to all the staff, the waiters were polite, active, positive. We received maximum attention. The guy who made the pizza, you can see him from the hall, he worked great! The pizza was delicious! Soup of the day was soup with potatoes and beans, what you need on a cold day. Pizza papperoni 17€, a portion of soup 7-9€.
