I went here for dinner. The service was friendly, but every time you ordered something, you had to pay for it immediately. The pizza was good, but very bland. Still, it was a nice little restaurant.

A very good place, in all simplicity

Really great pizzeria we found here. The restaurant has only a few places to sit, but if you are lucky to find a place for you, that only adds to the experience, as it gives this familiar and cozy feeling. I also love it when you can see the people cooking and preparing your meal. All three pizzas were delicious, with a nice crispy and thin dough. For me, the anchovies pizza was the clear winner here, but this can be a little biased, as it was the pizza I ordered myself 😁

Authentic Italian pizza. I had real pizza at your place for the first time in my life. Unfortunately, I have to drive 30 minutes to eat there, but it's definitely worth it!

I can’t believe I’ve lived here so long and never been to this gem of a restaurant. The atmosphere is so cozy! The service was incredible. The owner was willing to accommodate our dietary needs. We ordered a second pie after inhaling the first. My eldest said “compliments to the chef”! If you are vegan, you should absolutely go here. A new family favorite.

The staff are very polite, very upbeat and welcoming. The atmosphere I liked very much, it was very vibey and fit the theme of the restaurant. I enjoyed the pizza as well, although I have to admit I’ve had better, but it was still very very nice nonetheless, no actual complaints here, and I would go again.

Small pizza place. You order at the counter then pick up your food. They have some tables for dining indoors and outdoors. They do not have WiFi. Several of the cooks were eating food between preparing the food. I found it to be unhygienic.

Tasty pizza at an affordable price

We arrived with eight people and were well received (given the quality of hospitality in the capital's restaurants). The pizzas are good, the drinks are affordable, and the tiramisu is excellent. You'll also find some Italian products for sale. Very good value for money, and the setting is charming. The only downside: you can't drink alcohol on site, but the experience is still excellent.

If you’re looking for a flawless pizza place go to Il sogno! Carlos and Carlos are outstanding pizza chefs! The flavour of the pizzas were out of this world and I would highly recommend this place and the cannolis were delicious great little shop inside very friendly place I will be back hungry for more.

We were very close to the Jolly Joker for a quiet afternoon sheltered from the rain. Chat gpt attached the result "affordable pizzeria for true Italians abroad." It was spot on: fair prices, GOOD food, super easy and relaxed atmosphere. I recommend all Italians to stop by if they want a pizza without disappointment.

A very interesting place with unusually arranged tables. The service was pleasant and the staff was friendly. There were hardly any people there, so it was very quiet and cozy. The pizza was superb, the crust was incredibly thin, and their tomato paste was simply amazing, fresh and delicious. We also tried the tiramisu; everything was fresh and delicious. The only thing I found odd, keep this in mind: they sell alcohol—wine and beer—but you can't drink it there, only takeaway. But maybe that's for the best; there were no drunks, which Amsterdam is already full of.

I regularly come here for pizza and find them very tasty, although I have to say that the last few times the middle has been too soft, making it almost impossible to fold a slice. Cutting it could also be a bit better. I often still have to use a knife. But despite that, the taste is always perfect!

Their pizza might be not that bad but it is everything but Italian pizza. The cheese used on the pizza was gouda and the cured meat was smoked meat you cannot find in italian ingredients for pizza.

Both the pizza dough and the toppings were delicious. The preparation area was open and spotless. The restroom was also very clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. We will be back.

The pizza was very good. I went there twice during my vacation and ate the Il Sogno pizza each time. I also tried two sweet cannelloni, and they were also good. Since it's a shop, the atmosphere isn't great, but you can eat outside at four small tables on the street.

After a day spent exploring Amsterdam, it was nice to enjoy a good Italian pizza in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. Fast service, also available for takeout.

Was here for the free pizza during de Wallen event. Now I realized their pizza is great, and would love to come again

Were here during the Red Light District festival, because there would be pizza and wine tasting between three and five. When we walked in and asked on Sunday we only got a curt “its cancelled” and that was that. It didn’t seem extremely busy so the reason why is unclear. By the way, I think this chain used to be on IJburg and they had a nice play corner etc. there, but I didn’t see that here either. Too bad. EDIT (addition based on owner’s message): for me it’s about the total picture I get when I enter, the empathy was not there and this was not mentioned at the Red Light District festival stall or on their socials either. We didn’t come for the choir, but for a look in your kitchen.

Really nice concept store with loads of Italian goodies you can also buy to take home. Just a heads-up — they don’t serve alcohol by the glass, only bottled options. We had the Vegetariana pizza, which came out super quickly. The dough was fresh and really tasty. The only downside was that some of the veggies seemed to be canned instead of fresh, which was a bit disappointing.

This was the best. As an Italian I tried many places in Amsterdam, while I was there with my family and this one was BY FAR the best. Perfect location, good atmosphere; you can even see the chef preparing the pizzas in the wooden oven. Prices are modest and the pizzas are close to perfection for a place like Amsterdam, separated by hundreds of kilometers from the birth place of the pizza. If you want pizza in Amsterdam, this is the place.

(+) The pizzas are very delicious, we went there twice and tried different pizzas. All of them were very good. In addition, the staff is very friendly and the place is very clean.

Very informal and cozy place with delicious pizzas with thin base and well filled. Atmosphere very good and service very personal. We were even offered a glass of nice white wine. And then there was also a double bass player and an Italian singer who played great Italian and international jazz numbers. In one word: magnifico!
