We were able to sit outside and enjoy the setting sun. The pizzas were very tasty. We even ate the whole crust because it was delicious too. Small menu, which is good. In my opinion. Definitely recommended.

Amazing pizza, incredibly delicious, and the crust is nice and full and fluffy. The restaurant is lovely, and you can watch the pizza being made right from outside. The restrooms are clean, though unfortunately not fully wheelchair accessible. The restaurant is located on a fairly busy street, but I don't think that's a problem.

Good Neapolitan pizza, the dough is a little too hard for Neapolitan pizza and I would have liked scissors or a sharper knife to cut it. Other than that it was really tasty and had a bar atmosphere. Recommended

But this time I had to change my mind! I'll tell you why I think you should stop by "Mangia Pizza & Wine": The pizza isn't "just good for Amsterdam," here the pizza is simply good!!! Proper dough, homemade ingredients, and a cooking process that makes you forget you're just steps from the canals and not on Lungomare Caracciolo. The Atmosphere? Forget the cold Nordic atmosphere. Here the welcome is warm, familiar, and authentic. You feel like a guest, not just a number on the table. A friendly atmosphere where the energy is great. It's the kind of place where you come in for a Margherita and stay for the pleasure of being in good company. The Verdict.... If someone with pizza in their DNA says so, you can trust them. Top marks! I'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful experience at Mangia Pizza Centrum. We chose the classic Margherita, and it certainly did not disappoint. The pizza had a perfectly airy, soft Neapolitan crust with just the right balance between tomato sauce, mozzarella, and fresh basil. The food is delicious, and it's not the first time I've eaten here. I had a fond memory of it, so I decided to go back for my birthday with my sister and a couple of friends. The Tuscan woman was lovely, professional, and sweet. Everything was going great until we got to the cash register: there, an extremely rude guy (Lorenzo) decided to address us in a decidedly overly familiar tone. At the checkout, when he saw that we wanted to split the bill between four people and pay in cash, his expression changed, saying, "This is the bill, you guys can handle it; I don't accept cash because you'll ruin my fund," as if it were my problem. Clearly, in the end, my friend paid for everything by card because he was annoyed by cash. There are different ways of saying things. Furthermore, while my sister was in the bathroom before leaving, he had fun making off-color jokes like, "It's illegal to leave this restaurant at this hour." Rude and unprofessional; he probably just wanted to get home. I understand, I work in the restaurant business myself, but that's no excuse to approach a customer this way. Failed, I won't be back.

Title: Very unfriendly approach and bad food – not recommended We arrived here as tourists after a long journey. Because we really needed to use the restroom, we very politely asked if this was allowed before placing our order. We were with a large group and planning to have an elaborate meal, so we certainly weren't planning on just walking away. To our great surprise, we were bluntly refused. The staff refused us access to the restroom, even after we indicated that there was a pregnant woman in our party. This demonstrates a total lack of basic empathy and hospitality. We eventually did eat at this restaurant, but the entire experience was terrible. We had to wait an incredibly long time for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was absolutely not tasty. We felt completely unwelcome and are very dissatisfied with both the service and the quality of the food. No second time for us.

The server was fantastic and took great care of us. We had Pizza , lemonchello, and a great bottle of Italian red.

We went there for dinner and had a Margherita pizza, a salad caprese, foccacia and tiramisu. The pizza was very good. The tomato sauce, the mozzarella and the MIND-BLOWING board harmonized perfectly. So I would definitely recommend getting a pizza there. The tiramisu was also good. The service was good, our server didn't even need a paper to write our order down. Then again, at other tables she made mistakes and then proceeded to taking a block of post-its to take orders. They also have free wifi, you only need to scan a QR-Code. The price is also reasonable, you get good quality food! All being said, I recommend going there.

I went on Tuesday evening, February 13th. The atmosphere was very nice, but the negative review stems from the waiter's attitude (presumably Italian). He was friendly at first, but after I took off my sweatshirt and was wearing a Napoli jersey underneath, his attitude changed. First, he made us wait quite a while before taking our order, then when he deigned to come over, to a simple request for spicy salami on the Margherita, he responded in an annoyed manner, saying that if he wanted spicy salami, he'd have to order another pizza. The pizzas are good, in and of themselves, even though they were burnt on the bottom that night (but that can happen). When it came time to pay, the POS stopped working, and he blamed it on the card I wanted to use. Meanwhile, my friend asked him where he was from, and he replied that he was Dutch, born in Amsterdam (which I don't think is true, since I heard him speak Italian first). Once the POS started working again, he prevented me from paying with my card, demanding that my friend pay my share. In the end, I paid with the same card, but only in digital form; it seemed as if he was doing us a favor. That said, I could be wrong, but if not, I personally find it ridiculous and deplorable to have such an attitude towards two boys who could be his sons, especially if the Napoli shirt was the trigger.

Service was quick and didn't make any mistakes, but we felt they were too agressive in trying to get us to spend more money instead of listening to what we wanted.

Four friends on vacation in Amsterdam who, after four days of foreign food, were longing for home. We couldn't have ended up in a better place. As a Neapolitan, I can say I ate "na pizz veramente" (excessive pizza), they were excellent. Kindness and courtesy that I haven't even found in Italy... They offered us cicchetti to finish, entertained us with pleasant conversations about life in Amsterdam, and despite our limited time, they still gave us lots of valuable tips about the city. Congratulations again, guys, who, with sacrifice, given your young age, have created an intimate, friendly atmosphere, but above all, "Na grande pizza" (a great pizza like they make in Naples). Well done ❤️

Food and service was great! Friendly staff and very attentive to sit us down as soon as we walked in the door. The only thing I want to mention is the bathroom door which slams every time someone walks in. Ideally that would get fixed. The pizza was a decent size with good flavour, very well cooked, not a soft and soggy middle.

I went there based on TikTok's hype, but I don't recommend it at all. The order took an hour, and then I ordered a truffle pizza, which was similar to everything except the truffle. It wasn't worth the wait. Plus, they have two branches next to each other, one new and one old.

I think this is one of the best pizzas you can eat in Amsterdam. The dough is in a league of its own, the ingredients are truly fresh and of the highest quality. Besides the classics, they also offer fantastic new creations – absolute taste sensations. The place is very popular, so it can get crowded quickly. But the service team does their best to make the guests happy.

Will start that the pizza we had was ok and with very good ingredients. The experience was… interesting. We live in Amsterdam for a few years and one thing that is missing is good vegan pizza. Yesterday out of desperation was searching maybe something new appeared and came across this article https://mangiapizzagroup.nl/blogs/news/vegan-pizza-amsterdam Was like wow, how did we not know, live nearby Vijzelgracht. Once we’re there, the waiter is very puzzled when we ask for vegan option and there’s noooo sign about it on the menu. He is sure they have NO vegan pizza. So I show him the website on my phone. He obviously has strong attitude but shouts down to the chef at the kitchen asking about it. He comes back saying it’s ok, they can make it. We ask what can they make, he says any pizza. So we go for piccante. He says ok I’ll bring spicy oil too. When the pizza arrives it’s covered with mushrooms and olives, which is fine with me but my partner doesn’t like both of the ingredients AND they were not supposed to be on the piccante… and of course, no spicy oil in sight. We push mushrooms from one side and quickly eat cause we need to catch a film in the cinema. I didn’t finish my beer and they removed it from the bill, but it didn’t save the experience. Was a bit comic and rather uncomfortable.

This place is undoubtedly the best pizza spot in Amsterdam. During my visit, I tried their classic Margherita pizza, and every aspect—crust, flavor, and texture was simply perfect. For dessert, I indulged in their heavenly Tiramisu, which was an absolute must-try. If you’re living or visiting Amsterdam, this place is highly recommended. Since I had a reservation, I didn’t have to wait for a table.

The pizzas are very good, but you need to come dressed in ski gear! It must be 12 or 13 degrees Celsius in the dining room. One couple couldn't even finish their meal, and I quickly finished so I could leave before I caught a cold. Please pay for the heating! Thank you

Everything was great until we had a small conflict with the waiter because we were charged for the shots that were theoretically on the house and we had to keep them, but they still ended up treating us to a shot.

Friendly staff, spoke English well. Atmosphere a bit noisy (Italian). Pizzas were served quickly and were Italian style. The price is on the high side for what you get. We went there on a 20 people group and it was planned well by the staff. They also have tables outside with heaters, nice to have drinks.

The best pizza I've ever had in Amsterdam!

We were craving pasta and while wandering around Amsterdam I saw this place. We walked in at 3:15 PM, and even though they opened at 4 PM, they still seated us. This gesture immediately made us feel at home. Antonio is incredibly kind and hospitable, typical of southern Italians. The pizza and pasta, along with the croquettes, were delicious, made with quality ingredients. I was truly impressed and will be back as soon as possible.

Everything was great except the knives. It’s not possible to cut your pizza with butter knife! We asked them for a different knife and they didn’t have any. I don’t think if we are the only ones having trouble cutting the pizza though. Please change your knives!
