Very overrated. €24 for a pizza that really wasn’t that great. I had the truffle pizza with egg yolk, but it was basically an omelette with way too many eggs on top of a pizza. It was so heavy and filling that I completely lost my appetite. The place felt like an overpriced tourist trap, with no particularly nice atmosphere. There were quite a few tiny flies around our table, and it was super warm inside. Glad we didn’t enjoy the pizza, because it meant we could leave quickly and get some fresh air.

Absolutely wonderful food and great service. The "Da Antonio " pizza is the best I've ever had, outside and inside Italy, absolute magic!

This place was incredible! It was like we were in Italy. The ingredients they use are key. We had the Bresaola & Parmigiano salad, Lasangna Bologonese, and Habemus Piccante Pizza - all equally superb for different reasons. Wine was excellent as well. Great service. Everyone was welcoming and nice. Highly Recommend!

As a Spanish tourist, I have to say the place is top-notch. The pizza was very good, great crust, the chef is probably Italian (and if not, the guy speaks Italian and adds to the atmosphere), and the waiter who served us was Argentinian, so we were able to speak Spanish. A very good experience. I ordered the pizza with eggplant and Parmesan...

Very tasty pizzas, wooden oven takes it to the next level. Spongey dough juicy topping, cooked at the right spot! Happy to find pizzas with breseola. Very friendly staff and also nice cocktails to pair with your pizza. Definitely recommended!!

I sit with my friends they safe all of them except me and I’m the third person to order my food among 14 people but they forgot about me until all my friends eat their food and then I asked them again ,they forgot about me but maybe I m the only black Man in that group that’s why they forget about my food but I have a very bad experience so I will never go back again

Always delicious pizza!! This is truly, downright, the best place in the Netherlands to go eat pizza. I’ve been so many times and their consistency is always so good. Every time it tastes just as good as the first time. I always order the Margarita Pizza because they always make something so simple so tasty.

Had dinner here last night. Pizza was really tasty. Good strong flavors and good puffy dough. Good amount of mozzarella on the ‘bench Marg’. All in all a very good pizza. Staff were friendly and attentive. We got asked to move twice so they could fit more people in. Which was fine as they offered something in return. And the way staff asked was apologetic so we didn’t mind. But after we moved for the second time it felt we were forgotten for a wee bit. As we weren’t in a rush this wasn’t a disaster either but would have been nice to be noticed a bit faster without asking. Desert was homemade tiramisu which was really tasty too. And not too big either but just the right amount to us. All in all a nice pizzeria with decent pizza’s.

Late dinner with a friend. We spoke in Italian: the staff is mostly Italian, which is generally a sign of quality. The waitress and the manager were very pleasant. As for the meal, we had a Neapolitan-style pizza, with a thin crust but generous toppings. Expect to pay around €20 for the pizza and €8 for a 50cl Moretti beer on tap! We ate outside the restaurant, next to a café with a great atmosphere. At the next table, six Dutch people were celebrating something. The weather was lovely. We had a fantastic time! In short, for two hours, I felt like I was back in my native Italy. I highly recommend it!

We ordered 2 pizzas and a tiramissou online and then walked to pick up our order. The owner was super nice and said he had just received it when I walked in. The pizza is italian style - thin crust, oven-fired. It was delicious! The tiramisu came in a small jar and was equally delicious. Hardly any wait for the food. We had the quattro formaggi and the marguerite pizzas.

I actually enjoyed pizza there, didn’t expect this because of the location on the busy street. But they even had a proper traditional pizza oven! The dough was tasty, and fillings were well balanced, juicy but not mushy. I liked Da Antonio the most. Tiramisu was also good! I would only improve their non alcoholic cocktails, they felt very watery and were lacking flavor. Service was fine, they gave as space to chat and didn’t disturb us as in some other places, but sometimes we needed to call them out loud when we needed something 😅 I can recommend the place!

Pizza’s good, but there’s a lot of pressure to order, very slow to come and to top it off they overcharged when we split the bill. Very dodgy.

Our pizza (Don Antonio) was a perfect 10/10 – highly recommended! The service was friendly and attentive. On a nice day, you can also sit outside. The prices are a bit high overall, especially for drinks. A 0.2-liter Coke Zero cost almost €5. Nevertheless, we would definitely come back.

Delicious and truly authentic Neapolitan pizza! We had the Margherita and it was perfectly prepared— on par with what you find in Naples. You can tell that they use high quality ingredients and put a lot of care into the art of pizza making.

The restrooms are clean, though unfortunately not fully wheelchair accessible. The restaurant is located on a fairly busy street, but I don't think that's a problem.

Good Neapolitan pizza, the dough is a little too hard for Neapolitan pizza and I would have liked scissors or a sharper knife to cut it. Other than that it was really tasty and had a bar atmosphere. Recommended

But this time I had to change my mind! I'll tell you why I think you should stop by "Mangia Pizza & Wine": The pizza isn't "just good for Amsterdam," here the pizza is simply good!!! Proper dough, homemade ingredients, and a cooking process that makes you forget you're just steps from the canals and not on Lungomare Caracciolo. The Atmosphere? Forget the cold Nordic atmosphere. Here the welcome is warm, familiar, and authentic. You feel like a guest, not just a number on the table. A friendly atmosphere where the energy is great. It's the kind of place where you come in for a Margherita and stay for the pleasure of being in good company. The Verdict.... If someone with pizza in their DNA says so, you can trust them. Top marks! I'll definitely be back.

The food is delicious, and it's not the first time I've eaten here. I had a fond memory of it, so I decided to go back for my birthday with my sister and a couple of friends. The Tuscan woman was lovely, professional, and sweet. Everything was going great until we got to the cash register: there, an extremely rude guy (Lorenzo) decided to address us in a decidedly overly familiar tone. At the checkout, when he saw that we wanted to split the bill between four people and pay in cash, his expression changed, saying, "This is the bill, you guys can handle it; I don't accept cash because you'll ruin my fund," as if it were my problem. Clearly, in the end, my friend paid for everything by card because he was annoyed by cash. There are different ways of saying things. Furthermore, while my sister was in the bathroom before leaving, he had fun making off-color jokes like, "It's illegal to leave this restaurant at this hour." Rude and unprofessional; he probably just wanted to get home. I understand, I work in the restaurant business myself, but that's no excuse to approach a customer this way. Failed, I won't be back.

Title: Very unfriendly approach and bad food – not recommended We arrived here as tourists after a long journey. Because we really needed to use the restroom, we very politely asked if this was allowed before placing our order. We were with a large group and planning to have an elaborate meal, so we certainly weren't planning on just walking away. To our great surprise, we were bluntly refused. The staff refused us access to the restroom, even after we indicated that there was a pregnant woman in our party. This demonstrates a total lack of basic empathy and hospitality. We eventually did eat at this restaurant, but the entire experience was terrible. We had to wait an incredibly long time for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was absolutely not tasty. We felt completely unwelcome and are very dissatisfied with both the service and the quality of the food. No second time for us.

The server was fantastic and took great care of us. We had Pizza , lemonchello, and a great bottle of Italian red.

We went there for dinner and had a Margherita pizza, a salad caprese, foccacia and tiramisu. The pizza was very good. The tomato sauce, the mozzarella and the MIND-BLOWING board harmonized perfectly. So I would definitely recommend getting a pizza there. The tiramisu was also good. The service was good, our server didn't even need a paper to write our order down. Then again, at other tables she made mistakes and then proceeded to taking a block of post-its to take orders. They also have free wifi, you only need to scan a QR-Code. The price is also reasonable, you get good quality food! All being said, I recommend going there.

I went on Tuesday evening, February 13th. The atmosphere was very nice, but the negative review stems from the waiter's attitude (presumably Italian). He was friendly at first, but after I took off my sweatshirt and was wearing a Napoli jersey underneath, his attitude changed. First, he made us wait quite a while before taking our order, then when he deigned to come over, to a simple request for spicy salami on the Margherita, he responded in an annoyed manner, saying that if he wanted spicy salami, he'd have to order another pizza. The pizzas are good, in and of themselves, even though they were burnt on the bottom that night (but that can happen). When it came time to pay, the POS stopped working, and he blamed it on the card I wanted to use. Meanwhile, my friend asked him where he was from, and he replied that he was Dutch, born in Amsterdam (which I don't think is true, since I heard him speak Italian first). Once the POS started working again, he prevented me from paying with my card, demanding that my friend pay my share. In the end, I paid with the same card, but only in digital form; it seemed as if he was doing us a favor. That said, I could be wrong, but if not, I personally find it ridiculous and deplorable to have such an attitude towards two boys who could be his sons, especially if the Napoli shirt was the trigger.

A must-visit in Amsterdam, the best Italian restaurant I've had in a long time. Extraordinary, wonderful people, super clean… Don't leave without trying their tiramisu, it's amazing!

Pizza tasted very nice. Price of the pizza was ok though definitely not great value for money. The bites felt a bit on the expensive side. Service was quick and didn't make any mistakes, but we felt they were too agressive in trying to get us to spend more money instead of listening to what we wanted.

Four friends on vacation in Amsterdam who, after four days of foreign food, were longing for home. We couldn't have ended up in a better place. As a Neapolitan, I can say I ate "na pizz veramente" (excessive pizza), they were excellent. Kindness and courtesy that I haven't even found in Italy... They offered us cicchetti to finish, entertained us with pleasant conversations about life in Amsterdam, and despite our limited time, they still gave us lots of valuable tips about the city. Congratulations again, guys, who, with sacrifice, given your young age, have created an intimate, friendly atmosphere, but above all, "Na grande pizza" (a great pizza like they make in Naples). Well done ❤️
