The pizzas were delicious, but we weren't very happy with the burrata salad, although I think it was worth the price. We tried the local beer and it was very enjoyable. I definitely recommend it.

5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fantastic Neapolitan-style pizza! You can immediately tell that they really care about quality and fresh ingredients. The dough is exactly what you would expect from a proper Neapolitan pizza: light, soft and airy, with a beautifully risen crust and just the right amount of char. A real highlight is the tomato sauce. It tastes incredibly fresh and clearly homemade, which makes a big difference. All the other ingredients were fresh and high quality as well. The mozzarella, prosciutto and mushrooms worked perfectly together, and the pizzas were very well balanced without feeling overloaded. For me, this is definitely one of the better Neapolitan pizzas I’ve had – an easy 5/5. The only small downside is that the restaurant itself is quite small and cozy. It’s perfect for two to four people, but for groups larger than four it might be a little inconvenient. If you’re looking for authentic Neapolitan pizza with fresh ingredients, homemade tomato sauce and great flavor, this place is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

A tiny hole-in-the-wall place with very few seats, we only saw Italians eating there... why? Because only true Italians can understand the value of this pizzeria. FANTASTIC. Excellent ingredients, perfect dough and cooking! Few pizzerias in Florence make it this good. The waiters, one Neapolitan and one Florentine, are very friendly and kind. This place is a little gem in Amsterdam. It's absolutely worth even waiting a bit for a table. 10 out of 10.

We had heard about this place so many times but never actually made it here until today. It is a small pizzeria run by Italians, tucked right in the city centre practically behind Dam square. We went with three adults and two little girls. We had not booked, since it is not possible to reserve online and I did not try calling either. When we arrived there was a free table outside, so we sat there. There is only room for one table of four outside, so with three adults and two kids we were basically at full capacity for the outdoor space. Inside it is quite tiny too, I did not count the seats but it is a small setup overall. We ordered a capricciosa, a calzone, a margherita and a salsiccia e friarielli. The service was fast, within a few minutes our pizzas were already on the table, and the waiter was friendly and kind. The pizzas were good. I would not personally call it the best pizzeria in Amsterdam, and I have tried quite a few, but it is definitely a solid pizza, tasty and enjoyable. We spent ninety five euros in total for the four pizzas, four Cokes and two juices. Overall a nice little spot that I have noted down

The gentleman who showed us to our seats was very kind.😁 We ordered a Margherita, and for the third one, we were recommended a Burrata pizza! The Margherita was especially delicious because the tomato sauce was light and refreshing! Two pizzas were the perfect portion for three people! The restroom is clean, too!

A very small restaurant, but with very fast service, so even though it was full when we arrived, we didn't wait more than 10-15 minutes. The pizza dough is very good, the prices are great, and the pizzas are delicious. There were many Italians dining there, which is a good sign. We were served very well, and they were very helpful in informing us about my allergies (nuts). Highly recommended.

Google suggested this for dinner, didn't even eat, just passed straight in front of the restaurant. Located in a very dark and dangerous street, it was as small as a doghouse and smelled AWFUL. Decided to skip and ate in another restaurant instead.

Amazing pizzas, but timing is everything!This is a fantastic spot in Amsterdam for authentic Neapolitan pizza. The flavor, dough, and ingredient quality are top-notch—truly impressive. However, the venue is quite small and seating is very limited. Since I went right during peak dinner hours, it was incredibly crowded. It takes a good while to both get a table and wait for your order to come out of the oven. Because they operate with a small staff, the service can slow down when it gets that busy. If you want to enjoy these delicious pizzas without the wait and in a more relaxed atmosphere, I highly recommend going before the evening rush kicks in (between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM). Aside from the wait time during peak hours, everything was great!

We decided to go here because it's said to be the best pizza place in Amsterdam. There was a queue when we arrived, but we were only able to get a table after 10 minutes. We paid 18 euros for a Margherita pizza and a drink; the price was neither good nor bad. The pizza was truly delicious, with plenty of toppings and a very thin crust. It was just like the pizzas I've eaten in Rome. I definitely recommend it.

Very nice pizzeria It is famous as the best in Amsterdam. Very small space, one table literally next to another. Not recommended for someone who wants to enjoy a dinner or their meal in general. The philosophy is to eat and leave. Relatively normal prices from 14€ to 18€ per pizza. All ingredients fresh! Polite staff. The toilet is not so clean for a shop that serves so many people!

Among the best pizza I've ever had. This is the only time I've had bad wine at a restaurant but they changed it quickly. But even the not bad wine was so-so. Come here for the pizza not the wine.

Authentic Italian pizzeria in the heart of Amsterdam. Quick and efficient service. The pizza toppings were excellent, although I found the dough a bit sticky and hard to digest.

Small place, but quick service. The best thing is the dough (excellent), cooked in a wood-fired oven (!!). It's obvious that the toppings could be better prepared (e.g., the potatoes are a bit tasteless; they could be baked or sautéed), but the end result is more than satisfactory. Pricey by Italian standards (I think normal for Dutch people). The Hawaii sign on the platter is a must.

Spectacular pizzas in Amsterdam, the restaurant is very small and can go unnoticed but it's worth trying the food, they are made in a wood oven, you can tell they are homemade and with typical Neapolitan dough.

This hole inthe wall place is just awesome. We ordered a veg pizza and cherry tomato with boorata salad. Have to say this was my best pizza in a long time time. Fresh off the oven, hot and the cheese in just the right amount and loaded with vegetables. Just loved it. The sala was another out of world experience. Of you like pizza and want to taste a good no, great pizza, this is the place.

The price, although it may seem high, is in line with what they offer. You can find many other pizzerias nearby that are cheaper and also offer hamburgers and grilled food; THOSE ARE NOT PIZZERIAS. If you look at the dough of all the other options around here, it's uniform, smooth, and has a dry appearance; it's probably frozen dough. Here, you can see the fermentation boxes, which gives you an idea that it's more homemade. The cheese; you can see the pieces, WHICH IS A GOOD SIGN. It's not completely covered, but rather uniformly. Some people in the comments think this is a bad sign. The cherry tomatoes are very different from what you'll find elsewhere; they're really sweet. As pizza lovers, this is a highly recommended place.

We stopped here late one night for dinner and I’m so glad we did! The service was great and the staff were very nice, the pizza was delicious, and the tiramisu was fantastic! Most people here ordered their own pizzas but we weren’t super hungry so my husband and I shared the hot salami and they brought us an extra plate so we could split it. The pineapple pizza on the menu also gave us a laugh…make sure to take a look when you stop in 😂
