We had a summer package. It was done so nicely and the menu was delicious. The service is really top-notch. Nice young people who you don't really have to ask anything; they just do it on their own initiative. So, well-trained.

What a fantastic experience on the Honingerdijk. Every dish was a little work of art in itself, but the refined amuse-bouches on the white plates really stood out. The meticulous presentation and pure flavors made the dinner complete. The eye for detail is truly evident everywhere here, even in the beautiful texture of the deep white plate on which the fish dish was served. Highly recommended for anyone who loves gastronomic delights.

We had a delicious meal! The staff is friendly and added a nice touch to the dessert when they knew we had something to celebrate. We had an aperitif, a 4-course dinner (with wine pairing), and coffee afterwards. We finished in just under 2.5 hours (from 18:25 to 20:45). As far as we are concerned, the pace was a bit fast; there could have been a little more rest between courses. However, all in all, we had a delicious meal and it is highly recommended!

We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed dining outside. The food was delicious – for the first time in ages, we were so surprised by the great flavor combinations and quality dishes. And what really topped it all off was the extremely fine, friendly, and charismatic service from the three waiters tonight! Hats off to them, and thanks for the good service and care (and the delicious food, of course). Highly recommended.

Upon arrival, the door was opened politely, so that started well in our experience. Once seated, we each ordered a wine. It was poured, but without any mention or tasting; not even showing the bottle was done. In our view, a bit odd, but okay. We asked to see the bottle briefly and received a short explanation. The wine tasted good, by the way. Then the amuse-bouches arrived; the first two tasted good, so that promised something for the rest of the evening. Unfortunately, the taste of the third one was not really to our liking, but that can always happen, of course. After this, the five courses passed the table in record time. No, the food wasn't bad, but it was very bland in terms of taste, and there were no standouts among them. From entering to leaving, we were back outside within 1.5 hours. It actually felt like a quick bite in between, rather than something from a better restaurant. The service was good, but there was no attention paid to a potential glass of wine or another drink. We really don't feel superior to anyone, but we have been dining at many different restaurants at least once a week for years, ranging from good to multi-star (so I think we know a little bit about how it works); however, this experience was unfortunately disappointing. It's a shame, because we had heard good things.

And then after 9 years, a reaction? A bit strange, isn't it?

The food was excellent, as expected. Unfortunately, a staff member interrupted the ongoing table talk with a menu announcement without any hesitation. We also missed the warm, friendly service from the staff: they were polite but businesslike. A shame, considering the celebration.

It's wonderful to dine here. The food is fantastic. The accompanying wines are perfectly chosen. The service is fantastic! I love that slightly different atmosphere. We've been here several times and will definitely return.

Because of my allergies and my health condition, I was offered vegetarian dishes. They were delicious and well-seasoned. The staff was very efficient and attentive despite the language barrier. One of the waiters made the effort to speak to us in French and even gave us tips for visiting the city at the end of the meal. Everything was perfect for a wonderful evening, a great find.

Our favorite restaurant in Rotterdam! After two visits, we've never been disappointed, from the quality of the food to the attentive service (a special mention to Ferry, who always greets us so warmly). This charming little house, tucked away in a garden, has become our go-to spot for fine dining. The modern cuisine is based on fresh, European-inspired ingredients with a few Asian touches. We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful dinner with beautifully paired wines. The location is lovely and easily accessible by public transport (tram 300 meters away) and car.

Delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere

Een fantastische vegetarische lunch, met verrassend lekkere gerechten en lekker bijpassende wijnen. Vanwege t lekkere weer buiten gezeten, heerlijk. We zijn geen vegetariërs maar eten wel regelmatig vegetarisch. Deze ervaring is voor ons een aanleiding om wat vaker te kiezen voor een vegetarisch menu

My experience is now more than 30 years ago and if I am not mistaken Marcel was already the chef then and I do not know the name of the owners at that time but they are now resting a bit. I remember except the ranting of the chef (without illnesses) but with passion for the profession and the guests. I hope to be able to sit there again one day. Did quite a few table preparations: slicing chicken, crepes suzette, filleting sole. Tough to work there but you could see and taste that.

I love round tables and there are plenty of them at IDRW. That was already good. Immediately a stool for your bag, the checkbox was ticked again. Immediately a very nice relaxed atmosphere and good chemistry between both staff and guests. Marcel let us taste a very special tomato with great umami beforehand! A hard-working professional with a real love for all details, he was very proud to introduce us to his taste palette! Our lunch couldn't have been worse. Delicious bites, excellent wines, clear explanations and top service. The avocado is really very special! And the first spring sun made the final coffee outside extra festive! Be surprised! This restaurant can easily compete among the stars. And I've already been to JB 3*!

We dined at IDRW again on Friday night, and two tables away were three renowned chefs and their wives, holding six Michelin stars between them. Draw your own conclusions. And IDRW chef/owner Marcel van Zomeren himself? We found him cleaning the kitchen at the end of the evening. That's another reason we love Rotterdam.

Wow, what a fantastic restaurant! Everything was perfect: the food, the service, and the atmosphere were fantastic. The service is excellent and super friendly, and what's also great is that they have such young and passionate people on their team. Personally, I'm surprised this place didn't win a Michelin star at the last awards ceremony, because they more than deserve it. The restaurant is also incredibly beautiful and has a great story behind it. I would honestly recommend it to everyone!

The staff are fantastic and the food is exceptional. Very helpful when booking a table and after informing them of a food allergy in advance, the evening's menu was tweaked without fuss, wines paired to fit different courses and it was a delight to dine without concern. A charming old building was the icing on the cake. Make time to visit if you're in Rotterdam.

Had lunch here; absolutely nothing to complain about

Servicio muy atento que era elegante pero no relleno. Las bebidas eran fuertes y buenas. Escribo muy pocas reseñas. Disfrutamos cenando en restaurantes de alta calidad. Esto fue excepcional.

Absoluut overpriced sfeerloos tijdens de feestdagen met als toetje een bekeuring. Achteraf bleek betaald parkeren op de parkeerplaats wat ons niet werd verteld. Al ingrediënten zijn er maar worden niet benut .

Het was wederom een culinair feest. Heerlijk gegeten 7 gangen lang. Vlotte en vriendelijke bediening. Heerlijke bijpassende wijnen. Je vraagt je af waarom dit restaurant minimaal niet in de top 100 van de Lekker staat en eerlijk gezegd ik heb bij een Michelin ster wel eens minder goed gegeten !

Wonderful experience. Slightly outside the center, in an excellently maintained and furnished rustic house, we had this great value culinary experience. Accurate service. Smiles, kindness, patience. And excellent dishes.

Delicious food on the terrace in front of the restaurant. We had the 4 course lunch and a bottle of wine from the well stocked wine list. Really enjoyed it at one of the nicer locations in Rotterdam.

I have known IDRW for several years now. But they still manage to reach a huge level every time. Had an exceptionally good lunch last Thursday (4 courses). But also the details (service places the plates on the table of two guests at the same time). Fantastic wine selection too. We are already looking forward to the next time. PS: Glad you found my bag! Wij hebben hier met een groep van ruim 30 mensen een Nieuwjaarsdiner gegeten en het was op alle fronten fantastisch. Het eten, de bediening en de entourage, het is meer dan voor herhaling vatbaar!

Top restaurant met heerlijk eten en geweldige bediening. Wij troffen een prachtige avond, zodat wij met een select gezelschap buiten konden dineren in de beeldschone tuin. Marcel is een fantastische chef met een team dat allerliefst, behulpzaam en kundig is. Voor ons was het een avond met een “ gouden” randje…

Zeer goede lunch gehad. We hadden een 4 gangen lunch gereserveerd waarbij we nog een bite van te voren hebben genomen. Daarnaast zaten er nog 2 amuses en een uitgebreide collectie aan zoetigheden bij de koffie en thee. Dus was meer dan genoeg en zeer lekker. Service was goed en zeer vriendelijk al kwam het soms wat knullig over maar dat stoorde niet. Mooie tuin en van binnen mooi ingericht. Toilet is wat klein.

Wat een heerlijke avond vol met lekkernijen! Een zeer hartelijk ontvangst door de gastheer, mooi gedekte tafel en een bubbeltje om mee te beginnen. Vooraf is aangegeven hoeveel gangen er gewenst waren, maar eenmaal aan tafel kunnen er ook nog heerlijke kleine gerechtjes bijbesteld worden. Een aanrader! Wat te denken van een stukje brioche met paling? Of een paar overheerlijke oesters?.... Prachtige, zeer smaakvolle gerechten en daar hoorde ook het mooi gegaarde stukje iberico bij... wat een heerlijkheid. De wijnkaart biedt prachtige wijnen uit veel landen. Top! Echt een aanrader!

Graag deel ik mijn positieve ervaring bij Restaurant In den Rustwat. Het was een aangename verrassing om hier te lunchen. Het was mijn eerste keer en ik had geen idee wat ik kon verwachten. Ferry, de ober, heeft goed zijn best gedaan om mij op mijn gemak te laten voelen en de service was uitstekend. Ik had een vier gangen lunch met twee voorgerechten en ik was bang dat ik niet vol zou zitten met de porties, maar dit viel reuze mee. De gerechten waren niet alleen mooi gepresenteerd, maar ook overheerlijk. Het was duidelijk te proeven dat de ingrediënten van hoge kwaliteit zijn en dat er veel aandacht werd besteed aan elk klein detail. Al met al kan ik zeggen dat het een fantastische ervaring was en ik kan dit restaurant zeker aanraden. Dank je wel voor de geweldige lunch!

Smaak is niet objectief, ik had zelf wat bedenkingen maar mijn partner absoluut niet. Dus voor wat het waard is. Prima uitgaan geweest.

In 1 woord fantastisch, arrangement genomen met mainport hotel in hartje Rotterdam. dat je lekker kon eten hier wisten we al maar in combinatie met het hotel heb je een top weekend !!! Marcel en team een dikke 10 ,wat was het eten weer bizar lekker en wat een goede wijnen en verassend een bier ook bij de gerechten. Wij komen weer terug .

Wat een oase van rust, gezelligheid en elke gang is een verrassing op je bord.

Super mooie locatie nabij de Erasmus Universiteit. Heerlijke lunch gehad na een promotie. Het eten ziet er niet alleen gaaf uit, het is ook echt heerlijk. Fijne ondersteuning gehad bij het plannen en op de dag zelf was het top geregeld. Maakt een mooie dag nog mooier!

Vorige week heb ik heerlijk gegeten bij de @idrwrotterdam in Rotterdam ❤️ een echte aanrader ❤️ Fine dining in een eeuwenoude herberg in een groene oase. Mooie gerechten die perfect op smaak zijn en een top service maken hier uit eten gaan tot een culinair feest. De vier gangen lunch was zeer smakelijk. Van mij mogen ze een sterretje krijgen.

Wederom een fantastische gastronomische kerst omringd door een 5 sterren team, dankjullie wel IDRW

Die Michelin sterren aspiraties zijn te proeven hoor, het was heerlijk en bijzonder!
