Delicious, unlimited prawns, unlimited really is unlimited. Highly recommended. Beautiful place, very friendly staff. Nothing but praise!

Is such an amazing restaurant with lovely staff and delicious food!!

After two years, it has not improved. More and more 'regular' cafe food. The youngest waitress has no eye for the customers. The older waitress knows how it should be done. Unfortunately, the small soles taste like nothing. Two years ago it was as described below. Nice old-fashioned cafe-restaurant with the atmosphere of eating out with your family and grandpa and grandma. Good hospitable reception and service as it should be. Snails may be served with herb butter, lobster sauce with the fish could certainly be richer in taste and structure, calf's liver ditto, but the whole experience is nice. Where else can you find that classic cuisine and cosiness? Dot the i's and cross the t's and we will be back.

A neat eatery with a reasonably extensive menu. It is possible to eat fish, meat and vegetarian. I don't know if it's even vegan!? I am somewhat spoiled with wines, so I find it difficult to appreciate the quality of the wines. Book for a somewhat larger group (6 people or more); that will probably give a better result or pleasure.

Delicious food, fish pot is highly recommended! What I especially like about the place is that the acoustics are good, no loud music, so you can have a nice conversation.

Nice meal. Good service, but very slow. Tables are also far too close together. Also expensive.

We were here with a group. Good food, but an hour always passed before the next course was served. So exercise patience.

We were invited to eat Gamba's... unlimited. It was delicious and was served with a fresh salad and some fries as standard. Some baguette beforehand, the herb butter was divine (you don't get it that good elsewhere) and in the photo it was almost gone. You have to peel the prawns yourself, but the chef will make it a bit easier for you. We didn't get further than 2 plates, but that was more than enough. Then a small ice cream 🤣

Food fine but had to ask twice where the food was. Ice cream coupe with pieces of ice not tasty.

Could easily have been 4 stars or higher. Unfortunately, they still don't have the entrance to the restaurant in order. If you have a table close to the entrance, you are constantly in the cold draft, which unfortunately hinders a pleasant stay. Very unfortunate, because the food is excellent.

Meat, fish, vegetarian menu that is difficult to choose from. We chose the venison steak with a beautiful Montepulciano. Very generous portion. Glass poured generously. Very friendly service. Rises above an average cafe. Many regular customers. Recommended.

Later op de avond hartelijk ontvangen worden èn heerlijk eten. Fijne ervaring en een tip als je op zoek bent voor lekker eten in een goede kwaliteit-prijsverhouding.

Wij hebben hier vanavond gegeten met 3 volwassenen en twee kinderen (8&10). Wat hebben wij heerlijk gegeten! Echt nergens iets op aan te merken: Fijn die gerechten die je bijna nergens meer tegen komt; zwezerik, bloedworst, slakken etc. De gastvrouw daar mogen ze echt onwijs blij mee zijn, chapeau! Wij kunnen niet wachten om hier weer naar toe gaan. Bedankt voor deze voortreffelijke avond, mooie afsluiting van de vakantie.

Heerlijke kreeftensoep en ribeye gegeten. Kom hier al eigenlijk zo'n 15 jaar eten en het is nooit slecht geweest. Altijd lekker gegeten met fijne vriendelijke service. Eens in de 4 maanden bij van Stralen eten voor het wisselende menu 😉 Heerlijk op het menu tijdelijke onbeperkt gamba 's eten!

Gezellig restaurant met hele vriendelijke bediening. Zo kom je het niet vaak meer tegen. De lamskotelet raad ik zeer aan. Maar eigenlijk was het allemaal erg goed aan onze tafel.

Niets op aan te merken, eten top, bediening top. Sfeer moet je van houden. Enfin tot de volgende keer.

Super lekker gegeten 2de Kerstdag zeker een aanrader gezellige sfeer met vriendelijke medewerkers

"Simpel" sateetje gegeten. Het simpele sateetje bleek echter ergens tussen een fantastische combi van Hollands draadjesvlees, sate en daging smoor te zitten. Top!

Heerlijk gegeten. Gezellige mensen & ontzettend fijn dat er rekening gehouden kon worden met allergieën. Toppers! Bedankt.

I really enjoyed my evening with Eetcafé Van Stralen. Interesting and varied menu, great food and reasonable prices. I had a tuna steak cooked rare with a selection of vegetables and a mustard based sauce, delicious. Service was good, friendly, and knowledgeable about the local area.

Heerlijk eten voor schappelijke prijzen.

Heerlijk, in een ongedwongen sfeer) gegeten. Prima eten en bediening. Goede prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding. Een plek om nogmaals te bezoeken.

Leuk Eetcafe. Aparte kaart. Heerlijke kalfswangen gegeten met een goed glas rood uit Portugal erbij. Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Smakelijk..vriendelijk..hier en daar wat ruimte voor verbetering..maar gezellig en zal zeker nog eens aanschuiven.
