Delicious food truck! The chai (2 euros) is small but tasty, not sweetened at all but they offer sugar. The dosa is cheap and very delicious, but can take 30 minutes to get even after ordering (they only have 2 small griddles).

The dosa and Indian tea tasted good. Since it's a food truck, there's no place to sit and eat. They do have 2–3 high tables, but no chairs or awning to provide shelter and comfort for customers to stand during rain(It was drizzling when we visited, so we couldn't really enjoy the food or the tea).

Nice Indian food pantry car. They have created a little shred of India here. With good food and feel of street food, people eating while standing etc. Have tried the mysore masala dosa. It takes a bit of waiting time,expected because of their small kitchen and the high number rof orders they have. But it is really worth the wait. Better than masala dosa served in most of the Indian restaurants here. So plan accordingly. Also tried pav bhaji, I liked it. That's served fairly fast. Tea is one topic which needs improvement. The prices are decent!

We tried their kadapa karam dosa, sambar idli and ghee dosa. All the dishes were pretty good and price friendly. Waiting times are longer, but rest - the taste and service was decent.

It's a good truck in a market so of course the atmosphere is different. Anyhow excellent food and freshly prepared with a smile. The staff and owner were very courteous and served with pride. Perhaps the only recommendation is to add one or more tables! I'd definitely go there again despite the wait. It was well worth it!

Best place to try authentic Tamil/South Indian food like dosa idli in Utrecht. It’s only available on Saturday market. We come here often from Eindhoven just to get the dosa. Prices are very reasonable and portions are good. Service is quick.

Authentic South Indian Delights in Utrecht This Indian restaurant in Utrecht specializes in South Indian cuisine and truly excels at it. Offering some of the best dosas and idlis I've encountered in the Netherlands, their mastery of these dishes is evident with every bite. While I also tried some chaats, which were decent, the dosas and other South Indian specialties are the stars here and highly recommended. The only drawback is the branding and ambiance, which could use a more aesthetic touch to match the quality of the food. With a few improvements in its presentation, this place could really shine even brighter. If you're craving authentic South Indian fare, this spot is a must-visit!

For all the hype, this place is not worth it. My wife saw this place on Instagram and it was recommended to her by family members in Dubai and Hong Kong, so on a Saturday morning we drove from Amstelveen to Utrecht just for this experience. Location: If there was an option for location I would highly rate it, you dont have to search this place at all. As you enter the farmers market from the Hoog Catherijne main entrance - this foodstall is right in the beginning. Food: The food is blandish and is in essence the Netherlands version of the Indian menu being served, mildly spiced and salted so that the Dutch taste buds do not get stretched. The exception being the sambar which is per Indian standards, also do try the tea - they serve it without sugar and its quite good. Service: Unfortunately for the 3 ladies who are managing the food truck the spate of publicity (via social media) has left them stretched and unable to manage their menu. Service should be 0 stars but there is no option, there is a minimum wait time of 20 to 30 minutes, their token number system is prone to error - we waited for our number (for a good 35 minutes) only to see food being served (by the ladies) to other people (of higher number tokens), we had to then remind them to serve us and got our food. They appeared quite stressed as well, as the distribution of tasks was a bit over lapping and I could see them struggling to manage the crowd. Through the day the crowd is consistent - so possibly if you go early, when they just open up, maybe the service might be better. Lastly, they ran out of napkins so had to resort to box tissues which was mildly inconvenient. Atmosphere: People are patient, polite, but its a mess. An Indian couple with a little child dirtied the table by spilling sambar and did not have the courtesy to even clean it up, while my wife and I were discussing how to clean it up (and looking for napkins) - a dutch man simply embarrssed the entire lot of Indians there by cleaning it himself. Further, there are only 2 tables - and usually you have upto 25 to 30 people in queue, so it is going to be crowded, go prepared and take water with yourself. The ambience overall is good, if not for the wait time and the unwanted pressure of crowds due to social media which now is affecting their service.

Lucky enough to passing by Utrecht and its market on a Saturday afternoon to experience the wonderful dosas made by two equally wonderful ladies. Get your dosas crispy and spicy Highly recommended!

Omg ! Exactly the dosa AND Chutney I was looking for ! All the items are soo authentic and tasty ! Loved it ! PS: don't get there when you are hungry, there'll be a big line with huge waiting time. So go before you feel hungry!

And the Masala in the Masala dosa ACTUALLY has flavour! BEST PART: YOU GET PEANUT CHUTNEY!! So all fans of Andhra Palli Chutney - don't miss! IDK has the best quality and best taste served with the superb level and speed!! I had Kadapa Karam Masala Dosa (my fav), Masala Dosa, Onion dosa, Idli and Podi Idly (2nd fav) and HOT TEA.. WOW! It was a GASTRO delight that took me back to my college days in Andhra! Long lines and people coming from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Hague, Hilversum, Almere! Imagine the craze! Go there on Saturday morning at 20 am and get piping hot dosas to satiate your tummy!! I'm DEFINITELY going again and again and again!

Yes!!! One of my top 3 places to eat in Utrecht. Quality, flavorful, friendly service, reasonably priced. They keep the menu simple and focus on making what they make good (which I appreciate!). Highly recommend!

Only on Saturdays, close to the central station. Spicy podi dosa and idli are awesome. Prices are good.

I had been craving for the Authentic Indian Taste Dosa and authentic Sambhar for a year!! Today at Indian Dosa Kadai, I had the "THIS IS IT" feeling. ❤️ Please do visit, you will not regret. I had Mysore Masala Dosa, Idli Sambhar so I totally recommend that. Price wise they are super reasonable! 🌻 P.S: it reminded me of local dosa and idli medu vada stalls in Mumbai 🥹

Nice dosa…same like what you get in india on roadside stalls.Ladies operating the food truck are always welcome you with smile and very fast with preparation.Dont wait for 4PM they gets sold out pretty fast.Would visit again 😀

Incredible tasty fresh cooked Indian food. Half the customers were Indian people which is always a good sign. The flavors were still bouncing around my palate for some hours. We give them 5 stars +de luxe. Vegan and vegetarian, a super find for us.

We were curious when enter the market we smell the good foods and saw the long cue. And it was very delicious! it was our first time Dosa. The ladies explains us and give us a advice which one we should choose. We had a Dosa with the butter. We are happy that we had discovered this place. Next time will come again and try the others Dosa. Thanks for the delicious food!!!

Excellent home-like Indian food. In particular, if you love South Indian food, you should not miss this place. Dosas were awesome and also served with very good amount of sambar and chutney. The shop owners were very friendly and didn't hesitate to offer extra sambar or chutney. If you are interested in North Indian cuisine, Pav Bhaji is an excellent choice.

Cute Indian couple serve amazing dosa and idlis at very affordable price . Mysore masala dosa and pudi idli were the best . They also provide an option of making the Dosa spicy 🌶..Not to forget there Sambar and chutney was also very yummy .. Wish I stayed in Utrecht to enjoy this delicious breakfast more often .

We had a tasty experience of Indian street food! We had idle sambar and podi idli. Dosa options were finished as we were late. Of course like street food it is affordable compared to Indian restaurants around Utrecht.
