You walk into a beautiful restaurant, it looks really nice and chic. The service is very friendly and explains the concept well. The food we ordered was so delicious, that we ordered a dish (the baked feta) again! Enjoyed it so much. And the cocktails were delicious too. We will definitely come back here!

We love coming here. One of the few quiet, atmospheric places where you can try different dishes together. The menu changes (I think) once every 3 months, and always with tasty surprises. Octopus was very well prepared, but the meat and vegetarian dishes are also absolutely worth it. Cozy atmosphere, made possible by the friendly service. Thank you again, and until next time 🙏

How can there be a Greek restaurant without Tsipura fish plate?

Because we couldn't choose, we went for the Chef's Choice, an excellent choice! All delicious dishes. We were so full that we skipped dessert and we don't do that often. Finished with a nice cup of coffee. The service was very pleasant.

Had dinner at OLI MAZÍ last Friday. It was our first time, but certainly not the last! The dishes were incredibly tasty and there were many surprising combinations on the menu that went very well together. The staff was very friendly and you notice that they do everything they can to ensure you have a pleasant evening! This restaurant is absolutely recommended and a real asset to Utrecht.

Had a delicious meal at this Greek restaurant with a twist. Don't expect Pita Gyros with Fries, but do expect special dishes that unmistakably come from a Greek kitchen. Definitely recommended for those who love good food. Thank you Giorgos and team for the nice evening!

What a pleasant surprise! Was advised and really great to try Greek food differently, but with incredible taste and atmosphere. Ambiance is perfect. Chefs menu 7 courses Lots of different things to try I would have enjoyed more meat dishes

The first time but also the last... selected the chef's menu. Part of our group took the fish dishes, the others went for the meat menu. Not recommended and very little meat and lots of vegetables. While the fish menu was served full of fish dishes.

Outstanding food and great service in a modern restaurant (no kitschy faux Greek statues hete). We were a group of five and shared the Chefs surprise menu. Delicious food and fun to taste different Greek wines. We had the chef's menu. Lots of variety in the dishes, often beautifully prepared. I thought it was a special choice to start with the souflaki instead of one of the cold dishes. This sign was a bit out of place in terms of layout. The risotto was perfectly prepared and the Jerusalem artichoke was original. Falafel was another favorite. Service was very attentive. Have a nice evening :)

Kudos. Didn't try meat this time but will definitely do it next time. Nicely cared for. Take allergies into account. Lots of choice of Greek wines. Special interior with nice details, beautifully renovated. Comfortable seats. Highly recommended. Addition: ate again at Oli Mazi. This time meat with an allergy to lactose. The restaurant has done a great job. Food was delicious. Intolerance has been continuously taken into account and everything has been adjusted. Great experience and top food.

Visited Oli Mazi during restaurant week. Greek cuisine is generally not our favorite, but we were positively surprised at Oli Mazi! It starts with the service, which is incredibly hospitable, attentive and friendly. The dishes (shared dining) are refined, varied and have a good portion size. A very nice dining experience!

This is a nice restaurant for a nice date. The food has little to do with Greek, but was very tasty. We had the chef's choice. The first six dishes were delicious. We then had to wait a relatively long time for the last dish, which was the black chicken and unfortunately it was very dry. The sauce that came with it was tasty. As said, a nice place for a date. I give price-quality a maximum of 7.5 I may try it again soon and who knows, maybe it will be better.

Excellent modern Greek food, similar to modern restaurants in Athens. Most Greek restaurants in Utrecht offer the usual stereotypical dishes: gyros, greek salad, moussaka etc. Oli Mazi uses very good ingredients and experiments with them, so go there with an open mind! We tried almost all dishes and they were excellent, and comparable to what we used to eat in Athens. This is one of the 2 Greek restaurants I recommend to people, the other one is Nefeli Deli in the Hague.

Had a tasty meal in February at this restaurant, which is originally Greek. However, you could rather describe the dishes as more broadly Mediterranean, which certainly does not mean a degradation of what is offered. On the contrary. We took the Chef's Choice menu and the pleasant service served us dishes for two hours that were beautifully presented and excellent in taste. The risotto was even incredibly delicious. But so did the ceviche. In short, I highly recommend this restaurant! Small bonus: where in Utrecht can you find a restaurant where you can park for free in front of the door? So this restaurant! :-) Therefore on a repeat visit in August. It turned out it could be even better! The flavors got better and better over the course of 7 courses, while very daring combinations were made. Kudos to the chef's creativity. I'll be back soon to check if it can be even tastier. :-)

We were so pleasantly surprised when we accidentally came across this Greek restaurant! We love the shared-dining concept anyway, but these were definitely not standard Greek dishes! Congratulations to the chef and the friendly staff, we will definitely come back (despite 1.5 hours of travel time) 😊

I would like to start by stating that this is not your typical Greek restaurant. From the moment you're seated, if it's your first visit, they make a point to explain the concept to you. The concept in question is presented under the name of "shared dinner," where each person is encouraged to choose three dishes, and it’s shared that the restaurant chef will prepare and serve these dishes in the order and timing of their choosing. As frequent visitors to Greek and Turkish restaurants, and having traveled to Greece numerous times, we initially thought this service style was inspired by the meze culture. In traditional Greek cuisine, mezes are typically served in large portions and are meant to be shared among the table. However, we quickly realized that this was not the case here. The meze portions we received were very small, and the flavors fell far short of the gastronomic experience the restaurant's concept seemed to promise. The idea of serving the dishes according to the chef's discretion appeared to be more a result of the restaurant's busy pace rather than a deliberate culinary choice, which became evident when our orders took nearly an hour to be served. We continued our meal, hoping that the familiar seafood dishes like calamari and shrimp, presented in new ways, would offer flavors we hadn’t experienced before. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in this regard as well. While we respect the service, the concept, and the effort involved, when we evaluate the experience in terms of value for money, portion sizes, service, and taste, we believe that you could leave much more satisfied from a traditional Greek restaurant.

The food was delicious and well prepared. You can see and taste the expertise and love that the chefs are putting into in every dish. The staff was kind and helpful. This was my second time, definitely will be coming back.

The kitchen closes on Sundays at 9 p.m. (previously 9:30 p.m. was communicated via email). We had to place our entire order at 8.15 pm instead of ordering dishes in rounds. Got a somewhat rushed feeling. The food was very tasty, but we did not really feel welcome due to the time pressure. That's why I wouldn't come again so quickly.

Ate at Oli Mazi for the first time today. You can immediately throw the clichés that exist about Greek restaurants overboard upon entering. The restaurant is decorated with lounge influences and looks modern. Maybe not exactly my taste, but well executed. The shared dining concept ensures that a lot can be tasted and enjoyed. We had the Chef's choice menu, which was very tasty. Recommended were the fried artichoke, scallop ceviche and the 42 degree salmon. Dessert was also delicious. Nice to have such a restaurant nearby!

Went on a Saturday night with students and friends. It was a pleasant surprise. Greek food served in a modern way. The food was great, the portions look small but they are actually enough, we shared all the dishes. The waiters speak Greek and English and they explain the dishes thoroughly. They took great care of us, in case we wanted something extra or to check if everything was to our liking. We would definitely go again, and maybe try to be there a day that there is also live music

Given the name of the restaurant we expected a Greek restaurant. That is certainly not. Resitto with truffle which was just junk that was ristoo with truffle mayonnaise. greetings were fresh . We ordered different dishes but unfortunately all dishes had almost the same taste.
