The food at Isola Bella was fine, but the portions were on the small side. The food was served quickly, which was nice. However, the service varied per employee: some were very friendly, while others seemed less hospitable.

Me and my friends had a tonno and a pepperoni pizza. Cheese was not good, not soft all the way and very greasy. 4/5 stars is way to much. Service was good tho.

If you like Italian food, run away! It’s clearly not Italian and the salt shaker fell into the pan. The pizzas are bland and not cooked and the ragù vida is very hard. The prices are excessive for Domino’s Pizza.

The lasgna and pepperoni pizza were lively but the real stars of the show were the desserts! The tiramisu was one of the best I had and the Zapaione truffle was to die for!! The staff was so lovely as well

The experience was not very pleasant. The waiter was very friendly and the food was delicious. But the cook was smoking in the kitchen and there are mice in the restaurant.

I ordered the grilled chicken dinner, the chicken texture and amount of cooking time was perfect, absolutely no spices on the chicken and the broccoli was over cooked, all you could taste was onions, very disappointed.

On a quiet Friday, had the best carbonara that I can remember!! Quick, easy service

Very disappointed with the food and service. Myself and two friends found the food to be bland. I had ordered a large sprite which was flat, when I pointed this out the glass was topped up but still flat, when I complained again was told it was out of bottles but never had sprite like this. My mate was charges €7,50 for water - ok on the menu but still very expensive for water. The Pollo Pasta dish was very bland and tasteless and most was left. My friend’s pizza lacked any source and again most left. The service was lacking and as above, we was left surprised how a complaint was handled.

An average Italian restaurant in Amsterdam. Pizza is a very nice choice. The chef is a real Italian who knows how to cook. Give it a try. You will love it.

Isola Bella es un buen lugar para una gran pizza italiana o plato de pasta en el corazón de Amsterdam. Siempre nos sentábamos fuera, ya que las mesas están protegidas por un dosel por lo que estábamos muy cómodos incluso cuando llovía. En su mayoría comimos pizza y pasta en este restaurante, y nos pareció que era un lugar bastante fácil y cómodo para comer durante las vacaciones. La ubicación del restaurante es en una gran plaza de colores donde se puede ver la vida de la ciudad de Ámsterdam pasar mientras se come. La comida era generosa en porciones y de buen sabor. No para aquellos que están buscando una buena cena, pero este es para familias y cualquiera que quiera comer buena comida mientras está en movimiento sin recurrir a llevar.

Excellent pizzeria restaurant. Beautiful terrace overlooking a quiet, wooded square. The pizzas are very good and plentiful. The service is friendly and the prices are fair. We had a great time. I recommend.

La terrasse était accueillante, il restait une table pour deux, on avait faim et manger Italien nous tentait bien. Bon ben voilà. Le repas bof bof, pas vraiment mauvais (un petit citrate m'a quand même bien aidé à le digérer), mais pas vraiment bon non plus. Insipide, sans intérêt autre que de combler notre appétit. Vin du même niveau et je ne suis pas convaincu du coté maison du dessert. Tarif pas si bon marché compte tenu de la médiocrité de l'ensemble. L'exemple type du restaurant à touristes.

I was disappointed given the Google rating. The food was bland. The salmon was over-cooked. The vegetable and potato sides were very small. They outright refused to serve tap water and charged 7,50 for a bottle of water. That would be illegal in France.

Good little Italian in a tourist spot serving authentic Italian food with sensible prices. Staff are friendly and helpful but I do feel that they took the piss a bit when I ordered pineapple on my pepperoni pizza and destroyed good Italian food. I did deserve it!

Set just off Rembrandt Place, this is a well established authentic Italian. This was our last dinner in Amsterdam and we had established that it is quite pricey. This, however was probably the best value of the places we ate at. Plenty of outside seating, but we chose to eat inside which was fairly quiet. We shared a bruschetta and followed up with penne salmone and tagliatelle pollo and finished with tiramisu. Everything was typically Italian, the decor, service and food, with the past being especially good.

Restaurant with decent cuisine, however the prices are excluding tax (not indicated) and the waiters are extremely unpleasant.

You should try Isola Bella pizza. Every pizza person knows that the secret of the pizzas is the sauce with natural tomato sauce. Really appreciated.

We got a table for four at short notice without a reservation. The mozzarella caprese as a starter was okay. Served and garnished a bit carelessly - but could be eaten as usual. Pasta was ordered four times as the main course. Unfortunately, all four pasta dishes were very bland and tasteless. Unfortunately the quality of the food is too low for the price.

It is the best Italian restaurant to visit in Amsterdam. Its pizza dough is very thin and delicious. If you come to Amsterdam, you can visit this place with your eyes closed.

The shop is always very full, even though we hadn't made a reservation, the waiter arranged a seat for us. In general, the staff was very friendly, the cards, drinks and food all came very quickly, almost a little too quickly. The food was a bit disappointing, the salami pizza was a bit soggy and very salty, the pasta, on the other hand, was extremely bland and tasted like nothing. Unfortunately a bit expensive for the quality. Overall it was OK, but not recommended.

Terrible service, perhaps because we are foreigners. No smiles from the waiters, don’t hesitate to be jovial. Except the brunette waitress, thanks to her. The pasta was okay. 14 euros for 2 bottles of water… that says it all

Pepperoni and cheese pizza. Spaghetti Bolognese and Penne all’Arrrabiata. The pasta came out steaming hot and was so delicious. The pizza was also very good but they don’t cut it for you which I didn’t like. Service was very quick and nice and would definitely recommend and visit again.

Het restaurant is gelegen op een zeer toeristische plek. Desondanks kun je hier een prima ervaring hebben. De service is snel; ik had persoonlijk graag wat tijd gehad tussen mijn voor- en hoofdgerecht, maar ik had mijn soep net op en toen kwam de pasta al. De minestrone was prima qua smaak en goed gevuld met groenten die nog net een beetje knapperig waren. De panzerotti funghi porcini waren voorzien van een dikke roomsaus en grove stukken champignon. De smaak was wat vlak en het gerecht behoefde dus ook zout, peper en parmezaan. Gelukkig stonden alle drie op tafel. Lekkere prosecco en hetzelfde geldt voor het dessert: een klassieke tiramisu. Het interieur verwacht je niet zo snel in een Italiaans restaurant. Door de decoraties, houten bankjes en kozijnen waan je je een beetje in een sprookjesachtig elfenbos. De ruimte is wel wat gehorig als die vol zit.

Sehr gut gegessen. Preis-Leistung auch prima.

Prachtig sfeervol restaurant, met combinatie van strak en speelse inrichting. Mooi, indirect licht! Alleen het beeld in het midden verdient een betere lichtfocus, vandaar 4 van de 5 sterren. De Pizza Vegetariana, die ik er afgelopen week diverse keren gegeten heb, behoort tot de beste die ik ooit op mijn bord kreeg! Verder prima attent personeel. Dit is een topper!

Heerlijk gegeten, vriendelijke bediening, open keuken is extra toevoeging, gezellige sfeer, lekker druk en toch vlot allemaal. Prima prijzen voor Amsterdam dat is echt heel fijn. Kom zeker terug.

Heureusement que le goût était plus là que le service ! Si vous êtes étranger passez votre chemin. C'est très désagréable d'être mal reçu sachez le. Vous ne pouvez pas vous prétendre serveur quand même un bonjour vous demande un effort. Le sourire est payant chez vous ? Ou faudrait peut être avoir une augmentation pour une sympathie affichée sur le visage. Bref sur nos prochaines visites à Amsterdam nous ne reviendrons pas et déconseillons cet endroit à qui conque. Had pasta absolutely flavoursome and cooked to perfection and fresh. Also tryed pizza and was freshly made a real hidden gem in amsterdam and will come again when i go to amsterdam.pricing is underpriced for the food quality and for the nice original Italian vibe this restaurant offers.
