Unfortunately, lunch didn't meet our expectations. First, the waitress informed us that they were out of croissants at the Italian breakfast, so I suggested she offer something instead. After a while, it became clear that the waitress had been sent to a nearby supermarket, so the croissant ended up on the plate. When, after a long wait, we finally received our breakfast, unfortunately, only two people were served. The third person waited a very long time for their pesto pannini. Finally, the third meal was served after the other two people had finished their meal. The pannini order looked like a burger, but not quite like one, but it tasted okay. Another thing that really irritated us was the information that the drinks that were supposed to be included in the price weren't, because they were served after 2:00 PM, even though the order was made at 1:40 PM. It's a shame the drinks weren't served until after breakfast. The waitress was ultimately apologetic about these various issues, hence the 3-star rating.

Haarlemmerdijk 176I didn't eat there, but the two young employees on August 30, 2026, a boy and a girl, were incredibly kind to us. Since we didn't have much time to spend in Amsterdam, we had to go pick something up at a shop, and they were very welcoming. We also needed to charge our phones, and they provided us with the necessary equipment. If the owner reads this, know that you have fantastic employees!

Van der Helstplein 17hThis restaurant is located on a corner of an Amsterdam School-style building on a square with beautiful trees. As if that weren't enough (I can't imagine it was), it is also a very nice restaurant with welcoming service and delicious food. The various pastas, in particular, are highly recommended. The downside, however, is that I actually came to see what spaghetti carbonara looked like in practice so I could make it better, and I have since thrown in the towel. So I will have to go back.
