Italiaans Restaurant Sorrento in Amsterdamsewijk

Just ate here, truly terrible, just a waste of money from starter to dessert, inedible.

Unfortunately, the food was not tasty. It was so bad that my husband felt nauseous. And they forgot to serve half of the food: vegetables, fries, potatoes, etc., but there was no compensation for this. All in all, 81.50 wasted and I still haven't eaten.

We had an incredibly delicious meal; you can eat truly authentic Italian pizza here. Welcoming and cozy restaurant. Highly recommended!

Modest neighborhood restaurant with matching prices. Tasty food with cheerful service.

I almost never write a review, but I am happy to make an exception for Sorrento. What a warm welcome, followed by truly delicious food. All of this, accompanied by personal, sincere expertise, means we will be back soon.

The food here is super tasty. The service and ambiance are rather simple and dated. But that is exactly what we like when traveling with children. All the dishes (there were 9 of us) were delicious.

Wow! Really good. We called for calzone and pizza Ed. Very friendly service and delicious pizza. Tip: give them a call to order, believe me, it's worth it ;)

Delicious food, super sweet people, always a good time! The pizzas have a perfectly crispy thin crust! 🍕

The food was great, delicious and hot! The service was excellent!

We had a super delicious meal! And I was so stupid to pay via Thuisbezorgd and then also settle the bill with the delivery person. I was called immediately by the restaurant, my mistake was pointed out to me, and they neatly returned my money in an envelope!! Super service and I will definitely order here more often and probably eat there sometime too!!

My regular Italian restaurant in Haarlem since I was a kid. Delicious food at a good price. Service is a bit lacking, but everyone is friendly!

Delicious food for a good price, living room feeling, very friendly service

Nice people with good food at a more than fair price

The best restaurant in Haarlem, delicious dishes and friendly staff!

Very cosy and quiet pizza restaurant in city south. Great food at good prices, all these years.

The 80s still linger. The Christmas spirit lasts all year round. The food, especially the pizza, is delicious.

A cozy family restaurant serving classic Italian food. Pizza, pasta, and salad in generous portions. A place to enjoy good food, conversation, and laughter.

Incredibly friendly staff. We ate with a group of 10, and everyone loved the food and service.

Terrible place, I went in to order a pizza, I stood near the cash register for 15 minutes to order and no one came, I started attracting attention and still no one came, as soon as I went outside I discovered that the staff was behind the place drinking and smoking.

Great restaurant. We had an unexpected and delicious meal. We'll definitely come back when we're in the area.

Ordered delicious pizzas through Thuisbezorgd. Super fast delivery for a Saturday night.

Toppers, delicious food and they work together with the grill room next door, which results in top meat on your plate and it shows!!! And as for some of the reviews here...what nonsense man. They work together, don't deny and are completely honest. We have been coming here for years with great pleasure! Keep up the good work dear people of Sorrento! -mel

What a nice discovery this restaurant was! Delicious authentic Italian pizzas, richly toppings and delicious crispy bases. Very friendly service (owner?) who served the food with a lot of personal attention. Somewhat old-fashioned surroundings (the decor is a bit dated), but that added to the atmosphere :) We will definitely come again!

Excellent Italian flavor restaurant

My husband and I often order here. By accident I had the pizza with tomato today instead of without. When I called the case it was resolved quickly. The pizzas were already on their way, but the good pizza was delivered without extra costs. Awesome!!!! Such lovely people and delicious pizzas.

It was a great meal for little money, what do you do with that?

Italian restaurant with Greeks in the kitchen... waiters are not allowed to keep tips. And they get barked at when they ask where the food is... she did her best for us... Waited 30 minutes for starter, then waited 45 minutes for main course. What floated in... don't know what it is yet Sauces are bought from the pizzeria next door... just like the pizzas you order in the restaurant. And they don't have to deny anything, because I sat by the window and saw it happen in front of me.

YOU GET A LARGE PORTION OF FOOD, IT IS VERY TASTY

It's a very cozy place, with really good plates and not at all expensive. We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

The food was really delicious. Prices are right too. Every time we are here.

Cozy tent and good food for a nice price.

Very kind staff, they accepted us even though it was the end of the working day!

Pizza was dirty, low quality and did not match the photos on home delivery at all. Not recommended at all

Nice food, very friendly service!

Nice food, very friendly service!

very friendly male service!!! food was fine. my girlfriend was not used to eating tuna with tomato sauce, but it was handled very politely. very nicely compensated while it was still a typical Sicilian dish. I really recommend this restaurant!!!!

A lovely little Italian gem hidden away. Wonderful service and atmosphere serving tasty food.

We had a delicious meal and the service was excellent. Just outside the center today was better in terms of crowds. Cozy neighborhood restaurant with a committed hostess.

The nicest people work here, the atmosphere is nice, sit down and have a good glass filled. A great evening anyway!

Us knows us in the city (Haarlem) pizza is perfect, service too. You are part of the atmosphere. The only downside is that the interior is outdated.

Heerlijk gegeten.

Stumbled upon this place as staying nearby & wanted some pasta. Cosy & charming restaurant by the corner. Friendly service. Quite affordable. Started with their complimentary warm bread with garlic butter & marinara olives which were yummy. Ordered the smoked salmon pasta with a glass of sweet white wine. Pasta was freshly made loaded with salmon. Love the flavors. Not too cloying. Good portion size. The house wine went well with the dish. Sadly didn't have space for dessert. Overall I enjoyed my dinner. It was my last in the Netherlands before heading back. Definitely recommended.

Bestelling snel geleverd, vriendelijke bezorger en super lekkere pizza

Geweldige heerlijke verse authentieke pizza’s 🍕👍🏻

Authentiek! En een lieve eigenaar.

Very cozy corner restaurant with near authentic italian taste. and still it was reasonably priced. The italian waiter adds to the experience. he is a fine guy making good conversation with all.

Si mangia benissimo, consigliato 100%

Wat een heerlijke pizza. Brosse dunne bodem met heerlijke toppings. Heel zorgvuldig klaargemaakt. Vriendelijke dame die heel behulpzaam is. Een aanrader.

Not good taste at all, unfortunately not Italian food, dry and tasteless

Heerlijk eten, gezellige huiskamer sfeer. Grote porties!
