The food was so salty that we couldn't eat it…

I see this restaurant appear on a well-known website for ordering meals. The first thing that stands out is the minimum order amount. For me, as the single person in my household, an amount of €35.00 is far above my intended budget. Moreover, for orders under €50.00, I also have to deal with €3.95 in delivery costs. So, on to look for another restaurant.

I ordered a month ago but forgot to write a review. Honestly the best pizza in Leiden. The fact that this pizza is reasonably priced should be illegal. The delivery person was quick and super friendly. A quick shout-out to the delivery person with the black Daily Papers jacket, he was super nice!

They are very kind people in their dealings with others and have a great ability to fulfill requests very quickly and efficiently. Thank you all so much, and I hope you continue to provide this level of service, speed, and accuracy in delivering orders. ❤️❤️

The restaurant, staff, food, and atmosphere are all in perfect harmony; the food is healthy and very delicious.

Fast and friendly delivery, tasty pizza.

What a great experience at Happy Italiano! It was super cozy, the food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I ate inside with my family and we enjoyed a Pizza Margherita, pasta scampi, and half a chicken. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Definitely recommended!!

I ordered but didn't receive anything and I called and no one answered

Ordered and paid for food through their website, but never received it. When I called them, I was told, flatly, that they no longer use their website. I asked how they were going to get my money back, and the boss said they would call me back within 15 minutes. Now, a day later, they still haven't called.

Ordered a pizza with a promised 25-minute wait. Adorable. What they meant, apparently, was 2 hours and 25 minutes because nothing says "fresh hot pizza" like receiving it at 11pm when your will to live has already been delivered and eaten. I tried calling to cancel, but shockingly, no one picked up. The pizza itself arrived cold, undercooked, and looking like it had also given up on life during the journey.

The food is very healthy, very nutritious, and fresh. I recommend trying it; it's clean, delicious, and has a wonderfully sweet taste.

I never got any food. Everything took two hours. Extremely disappointing. Never again. How is this possible? I'm even amazed by everything. How can they take two hours to make three pizzas when they say they'll be delivered within 25 minutes? This is extremely bizarre. I had an appointment, but they're doing nothing. They're doing absolutely nothing to help. Never picking up or ordering food again!!! I feel ripped off and ridiculed. This shouldn't be the case.

Dirty local, 45 minutes to closing they tell me it’s already closed even though it’s not and there’s delivery guy sitting in.

I ordered spaghetti from this store via Thuisbezorgd, but I never received my order and I didn't get my money back either.

Ordered food via home delivery, it made me feel nauseous. I had salmon pasta. But the pasta was not cooked enough and there were hard pieces in it. The salmon did not taste fresh and the food was terribly greasy and salty.

Live 3 minutes away by scooter. It takes a long time to call you with no answer. Don't try to order something extra or a pizza that is a little well done because it simply doesn't work because they can't speak Dutch. Very sad with the new owners

Pasta floats in the fat, even vegetables and carpacio are added to your hot food. Whole bag full of grease. Really gross! If you call them, they are not available by phone. You will be called back with a 06 number. We will deliver new food within 20 minutes but we have not been.

Nice people and super tasty food

Best pasta in town. A lot of sauce as it should be, what we are missing in other places. Especially the pasta carbonarra and spinazie are our very favourite. Highly recomended.

If I can put 0 start i would give -10 stars. I just ordered for the first time via Thuisbezorgd, I’ve got my carbonara pasta (which is the easiest pasta if you want to have a Italian restaurant name) and I’ve got completely burned onion in it, pasta is quite burned also which the whole pasta is not edible. I’m trying to call them , 0 response. I also get baguette with the pasta, I guess it’s from grocery stores from fridge the garlic and herbs one which I have in my fridge so I could just take and bake by myself (😂) and the one I get from them is pretty chewy which it makes even more disgusting. I do not recommend eat pasta there for 100%.

They will "happy"ly take your money and deliver a very un"happy" pathetic, disgusting, and repulsive product in return. It feels like I am still living in Africa, with the type of customer service they seem to think is acceptable in 2024. What a shame. I will certainly mention this establishment to the respective food service authorities immediately

They pretend via the app that they will be at your door at some point, but in reality you have to wait more than an hour and fifteen minutes extra. No communication, nothing. Been waiting for 1.45 hours now, nothing yet. Then be fair and do not give fake delivery times.

Ordered a pasta carbonara with penne last evening. Seriously, I've never had such a delicious carbonara before. Too delicious👌🏻 I don't normally eat this often, but I suspect it will become more often 😜

Good place for a late night snack. We ordered a pizza and some ice cream for late night delivery. The delivery was super fast (20 minutes after the order was placed) and the food was in perfect condition. The pizza was good texture wise, but could have been more flavourful. I definitely recommend this place if you want something to eat at 1 AM.

Lekker pizza’s, maar organisatorisch een drama. Bij afhalen sta je ondanks een afgesproken tijd alsnog 15 minuten te wachten of is je pizza alweer lauw als je aankomt. Mijn oplossing: ik laat ze bezorgen terwijl ik om de hoek woon. Duurt alsnog lang, maar goed.

Nadat onbekende mensen mijn bestelling in ontvangst hadden genomen kwam Happy Italiano met de fijne oplossing dat ik toch een nieuwe bestelling kon plaatsen.

We had a misunderstanding with the order because of the menu layout. Fortunately I live nearby and could go back to the place and ask about the mixup. Everything was resolved in a very friendly manner. And most importantly, the pizza was extremely tasty!

Problems with delivery which sadly resulted in a cold pizza. The restaurant apologized sincerely and we came to a solution for next time

Lekkerste pizza en kip van Leiden. Bestel een keer de kip echt een aanrader. Verder zijn ze meestal erg snel met bezorgen.
