Visited you for the first time yesterday and what a lovely restaurant! Good and fast service. Your Rebel Weizen tasted good and the food was delicious! They also thought of my raw tomato allergy, which was nice!

Very nice place! The water melon starter was a very cool surprise and the salmon was delicious. It can be a bit noisy when fully booked.

We come here often for dinner or a drink. A cozy place with plenty of buzz. Very friendly service and they often have nice special offers. Last week, however, I was severely disappointed. I had ordered leg of lamb. When it was served, it didn't smell good. I tried the first bite but immediately spat it out. The meat was spoiled. I returned it and the staff and kitchen confirmed the same. As an alternative, I ordered steak for an extra charge. That was fine, as expected. I received an apology and a free cup of espresso. The extra charge for the steak was simply listed on the bill. All in all, I found that rather meager. Serving spoiled meat is a mortal sin for a restaurant. We will certainly come back, but I am writing this review to keep the kitchen and service on their toes.

This was the only restaurant we encountered during our trip with such a cold attitude from the staff – no greetings, we had to get our own menus, and the staff even made a mistake with one of our tea cups (they served coffee instead). However, the waiter remembered which person ordered which dish, the lunch was decent, the price was reasonable, and the restrooms weren't as dirty as some reviews suggested. I really like Leiden; during my week-long vacation in the Netherlands, the people here were consistently friendly and welcoming, but today's lunch was a bit disappointing.

Bus day trip from Eindhoven to Leiden. Lunch at Het Pakhuis. Delicious glass of orange juice, mustard soup, bread with toppings, and coffee or tea afterwards. Excellent and more than enough. Friendly service. We didn't have to pay, as it was included in the price of the day trip.8

High cocktail on Easter Monday... drinks okay but food so-so... finger food a bit "stale". I had also expected a bit more Easter atmosphere... there were a few pieces of butter letters and 1 cinnamon bun for 6 people! An Easter stollen and a few deviled eggs would have been nice.

We went to eat at Pakhuis again after a long time because we wanted to eat out without spending too much. We were surprised by the food; it was really tasty. Service was okay; it was very busy and you could definitely tell. But everyone was very friendly. There were two drinks listed on our bill that we hadn't had, and that was quickly taken care of.

Terrible, first course appetizers ice cold as if they came straight out of the freezer. Had to wait 50 minutes for the second course because they forgot to pass it on to the kitchen, and this with 4 guests in the restaurant and a lot of staff. Next, overcooked shrimp and deep-fried food: fries, a hamburger, and a greasy chicken leg. The fries and hamburgers were also overcooked. A nasty, greasy choice for a High Wine! The third course consisted of pastries, also not something that fits a high wine! Pakhuis Leiden, you completely miss the mark with your appetizers at a high wine and the rest of your disgrace!

I came for dinner with my sisters yesterday; it was cozy and atmospheric, and the food was super tasty. The service was perfect. The price was also great.

We ate here for the second time and I must say it was better than the first time. The first time was quite a while ago, so we thought let's give it a try again and we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was really good value for money. Friendly staff. It was a very enjoyable and successful evening.

The cappuccino was lukewarm :( The lunch menu was suddenly limited due to the crowds, so no soup or fried eggs :( The spot next to the patio door is uncomfortable because people (and staff) don't close the door behind them :( The wooden chairs are uncomfortable :( The croquettes were delicious :)

The staff was unhelpful, we had to grab our own menus. They got the order wrong twice. We waited for dessert for 30min after the main dish was done and table cleared. The staff was unhelpful and borderline rude on the issue of meal reimbursement for university booking purposes (their own system). The staff had no sense of decorum and kept coming up and interrupting as we were speaking. The waiter (male) invited himself to our group picture and put his arm around one of us in the picture without asking. Extremely, extremely simple food, basically unseasoned, unimaginative menu, uninspired presentation. Decent selection of beer.

We had high tea for five of us... for that price per person, you'd expect a bit more than what we got. The scones were very hard and had a kind of liquid whipped cream (instead of clotted cream) that wasn't spreadable, and the rolls were a bit stale. The service was "good enough," as were the restrooms. Unfortunately, definitely not worth the money and won't be returning.

I thought the restaurant was nicely decorated, but it was a bit chaotic, and the restrooms were barely clean, so to speak. In short, it's nice, but next time I'll try something else. There's plenty of choice in Leiden!

A lovely restaurant with an industrial-chic decor. The dishes we ordered were served in generous portions. Customizing dishes was easy. If you're in Leiden, I definitely recommend Pakhuis.

The food here is delicious. The mustard soup and the bread and croquettes are wonderful. But I'm not sure I'll go back, because I don't quite feel the vibe of Het Pakhuis. It's very dark and cramped, and the restrooms smell terribly of sewage. It's really not healthy anymore. And the tables weren't clean; they were completely sticky when we sat down.

Good food, friendly waitresses. The main course took a bit longer than expected, but the waitresses were very helpful in communicating this. The waitress also offered everyone a drink, on behalf of Pakhuis, due to the long wait! Excellent service!

Great place for a beer, but absolutely unacceptable as far as the food goes. The tuna steak smelled so bad that we sent it back without tasting it. When we pointed it out, the waiter returned with the explanation that "their tuna always smells like this." Fresh tuna doesn't smell like fish. That's basic knowledge for anyone who works in a restaurant. I'm not going to risk food poisoning from raw fish that smells a week old. The dish was served with a sauce that resembled tomato paste diluted with water. There was a single random kumquat slice (I think) floating in it, which seemed to have been accidentally added, perhaps from a dessert. Or was it a creative choice? There were black sprinkles as a garnish, which, combined with the sauce, were so bitter that the dish would have been rejected even as a school lunch. The presentation bore no resemblance to the photos. The waiter did remove the dish, which I appreciated, but the solution felt perfunctory rather than genuinely concerned about food safety. I ordered a Caesar salad instead, which was clearly covered in a massive amount of pure mayonnaise. No trace of culinary authenticity. The chicken didn't look fresh either, but it was well-cooked and edible. This restaurant operates without basic culinary standards or genuine concern for food safety.

The sandwich wasn't very creative. I had steak tartare, which looked more like beef sausage, but there wasn't much on it, so the sandwich was quite dry.

Cozy place, nice location, beautiful building. Only had dinner here once, with a bavette that was impossible to chew through. I had to leave half of it. I gave it another try for lunch, but it just wasn't fresh. A much-too-thick mustard soup, a kind of thick and rich sauce. With a club sandwich with dried tomatoes that wasn't fresh. And a salad for 18.50 (!), which consisted of a bit of pumpkin and feta on a bed of limp arugula. Clearly overpriced; I was really disappointed, because for that price you just expect a meal-sized salad. So, unfortunately, I won't be going back again, only for coffee and drinks...

We had high tea here today (€27.50 per person) for three of us. It took fifteen minutes before someone came to us with the tea. We then had to wait a long time for the food. A single tiered stand was placed on the table with some savory and sweet snacks. I felt like half of it came from a supermarket. It was also far too small. We left hungry. Refilling the tea also took 10 minutes. Considering the price, we were surprised that there was only a simple tiered stand on the table, so the value for money was poor. The website also stated that the high tea would last two hours, but with so few people, we only spent an hour there. I won't be back anytime soon.

What a fantastic place this is! We booked a high wine. The staff is knowledgeable, relaxed, and friendly. The dishes with the high wine were delicious, perfectly prepared, and varied. There's a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, and the decor is just as inviting. We'll definitely go back, but this time for dinner.

We showed up around lunch-time with 5 babies and strollers without a reservation, and the staff was very nice and accommodating. We sat in the garden, had lunch and some drinks, it was a perfect place for a warm summer day. They also have a baby changing table, which was a big plus for us.

Amazing amazing spot. Arrived without disclosing dietary restrictions, and the service team and chef made sure to be as helpful and accommodating as possible. 10 stars for their service and helping me! Food was delicious, and I will definitely be coming back!

The tuna steak was disappointing. Otherwise, it's a nice place.

What a pleasant surprise! A charming garden where you can enjoy a meal outdoors. One point of criticism: it's a shame smoking is allowed. During dessert, I inhaled a mouthful of smoke along with the delicious chocolate mousse, which didn't do the taste any good.

The food was good enough. The service was excellent. The location and atmosphere were unique.

We ordered high tea, were highly disappointed, the "cakes" were mini muffins, small donuts and a small square of cake (these all looked shop bought possibly AH?) and a scone, also possibly shop bought. Sandwiches were average. We paid €27,50/person for this. The service was average and slow, and when asked on the origins of the building, I was told they didn't know but someone else did who wasn't there. What was meant to be a treat but very disappointing.

Wij bestelden een clubsandwich kip. Na lang wachten, de colaatjes waren al helemaal op, kwam de bestelling die vooral uit droog brood bestond, geroosterd, met één plakje tomaat, één plakje bacon, ergens een minuscuul dotje saus, nog wat groen, een stukje omelet en drie of vier hele minuscule stukjes kip. Een droge hap, met bijna geen beleg. Echt erg. Toen de vraag kwam of alles naar wens was, hebben we gezegd dat dit geenszins het geval was, dat de kip van de clubsandwich kip gevlogen leek en dat de hele clubsandwich kip vooral een broodbeleving was, en dat voor € 13,75. Echt heel slecht.

Een high tea gehad bij het Pakhuis. Alle hapjes tegelijk op tafel, qua hoeveelheid matig en de zoete hapjes waren allemaal uit een pakje. Ik had er meer van verwacht.

Eten was lekker. Acties worden niet aangegeven ( gratis drankje moederdag) moet je zelf om vragen. Hebben er uiteindelijk 3u gezeten. Hadden menu, dus geeft aan begin aan wat je wil en dan ruim 1,5u moeten wachten op je hoofdgerecht is belachelijk. Kwam door drukte dat het zo lang duurde zeiden ze, maar is volgorde van keuken geen drukte. Gezien bezoekers later dan ons kwamen, maar eerder weg waren. Gratis drankje, omdat het zo lang duurde, lief maar niet bevredigend. Hele parkeeromgeving is vergunningshouder, zou fijn zijn als dat bekend is op website. Dan kan je daar rekening meehouden als niet leidse 🙂 Vriendelijk personeel. Voor ons 1ste en laatste bezoek.

Simple menu, but with a high standard of food. The burger patty was really great beef, the stewed beef melted in your mouth, the spare ribs (pork) were also extremely tender. It was Friday evening, so completely full, which meant that the staff were run off their feet. So the service was a little slow. However the staff are enthusiastic and friendly. This will stay in our top five reasonably priced restaurants in Leiden. Recommended.

We had a delicious meal here last Saturday. The welcome was warm. We got a nice table. The French onion soup is highly recommended. The bavette also tasted delicious. The time between the starter and main course was good. We enjoyed the delicious espresso and liqueur. After this we had a lovely chat and we didn't look away or anything of the sort. Great atmosphere, delicious food. Pakhuis Leiden is definitely recommended! The restaurant has a cozy and warm atmosphere, evening out. The food was excellent, the steak and the truffle risotto in particular were excellent. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The heated garden is a fantastic place to sit, even in the colder months. All in all a great experience and definitely worth a visit!

We had made a reservation for a high tea, 2x vegetarian and 1x pregnant. When serving, there were all kinds of chicken sandwiches and a smoked salmon wrap on the etagere. When we reported this to the waiter, nothing was done about it. In addition, everything came from packages/bags as far as the sweet part was concerned. Really very sad! Wouldn't recommend the high tea here!

Definitely worth it! Unfortunately, they were going to take my dish out, although I don't understand why. It was a delicious winter dish. My girlfriend also had a nice meal. Friendly staff who brought my forgotten glasses :).

We chose the Indonesian patties. One with fries and one with salad. We found positive: - the service. Smooth, friendly and flexible. On request, something other than fries could be served with the patties. Very nice. - my wife chose sweet white wine and was very satisfied with it. - the atmosphere was quite okay. Beautiful space, feels approachable but a bit noisy. Luckily we sat at a high table close to each other. We found it less positive; - unfortunately the food. We did not experience the pasties as Indonesian. They were a kind of croissants with a taste that was otherwise quite okay, but was a bit disappointing because there was little filling to be found. My wife liked the fries better than the patties and gave the food a six out of 10. The salad was very fresh with croutons and tasted quite good. All in all, based on tonight, not worth repeating.

We waren met een grote groep. De wachttijd tussen de gangen was zeer lang. Het eten was zeer matig: vlees was niet lekker en taai. Van het " grand dessert" kun je het woord " grand*" wel weghalen. Zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

The little walk/pathway to the location is actually very pretty. Flowers, plants,concrete stones are found along the pathway. Great location ✅ unfortunately for me it was not the most welcoming. Plumbing was being done, couldn't use the ladies room. Took a little longer than usual for me to get attended too but I'd like to add that might have to do with the fact that there was a sort group Sunday brunch going on but then I'd suggest more waitresses. The staff was polite and well mannered😇 ✅ when they did Interact with me. However 🙈on the first go they got my drink wrong (forgot one ingredient) which would have made all the difference as far as taste but thankfully they then easily corrected it for me when I brought it to their attention. Hmm🤔 Maybe a different day or time might have been a different/better experience 🤷🏾‍♀️ I'd hope because I actually do think under different circumstances it could have been Romantic.

We met friends here. The service was a bit slow. The food is very different. Overall nice location in Leiden. Menu for 30 euros is cheap and good. The Vegan Citizen is not recommended, very dry bun and the Paddy not particularly good. But overall, happy again.
