Since the beginning of this year, this restaurant has had a new owner, and that is a real asset. We were with a large group and had a wonderful and, above all, enjoyable dining experience. Everything was freshly prepared, and you can really taste it: good meat, tasty shrimp, and fresh, soft paneer. I personally had pakoras, onion bhaji, the Tandoori Mixed Grill, mango kulfi, and masala chai, but I also tasted a variety of dishes from the rest of the people at the table, and actually, everything was just incredibly delicious. It sometimes takes a little longer, but that is because everything is made fresh, and it is more than worth the wait. You can occasionally peek into the kitchen, and everything looked clean and hygienic, just like the restroom. It is also nice that all the meat is halal. The place has been beautifully renovated, making it a really nice spot for a pleasant dinner out (instead of just getting takeout). The owner and staff are super friendly, and you can tell that the owner has a good feel for the hospitality industry and therefore provides good service in a natural way. Takeout is great, but eating here is truly even better! One of the better Indian restaurants in The Hague where I love to return!

very tasty food !! made a large order, so we had to wait a little bit at pick up. the owner was very friendly and gave us a drink on the house while we were waiting. lots of food for the price and the naan was big and fluffy !!

New owner, and he, along with the chef, is working incredibly hard to take Jaipur to a higher level. And they are already succeeding: incredibly friendly, and we had a delicious meal. Sheek kebab, tandoori chicken, and king prawn starters were mega tasty. Main course: Saag ghost paneer, top-notch! Mixed grill + tandoori chicken tikka, which arrived at the table still sizzling. Delicious paratha, Bombay potatoes, and fresh coleslaw on the side. Everything was perfectly seasoned and not greasy at all. We really feasted!!

We went on a random trip for food and end up in this small restaurant and got blown away by the taste of the dishes and the beautiful colours. The owner is very friendly and willing to help! DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY! We had by the 2 of us: the lamb madras, butterchicken and another lamb dish with some naan bread vegetables and rice! Well we've been eating like we had fasted for 4 days that delicious so 5 stars is even underrated!

We had a delicious meal! The chicken tikka dish had a very fine, mild flavor and everything was well-balanced. The chicken tikka was wonderfully tender and the rice nicely seasoned. I was especially surprised by the aloo chana, it was really tasty! Additionally, the staff is super friendly and welcoming.

We had a delicious meal. Spicy for those who like it that way, less spicy if you prefer. The naan bread was delicious, especially in combination with the king prawns. The lamb and chicken dishes were also very flavorful. The menu was clearly explained. Friendly service. A tad too noisy on the terrace due to the location at a busy intersection, but not at all bothersome inside. We will definitely come back here again. And we can certainly recommend it.

Whatever you do, don't look at reviews from before March 22 of this year. They are justifiably downright bad. Now there is a new owner, Richie. He is the new hospitality sensation. The restaurant is beautiful. Richie has craftsmanship, but it is mainly about the food. Masterful, what finesse. Culinarily outstanding, and the price certainly shouldn't be a deterrent!!!

Don’t take an order you cannot fulfill! Especially don’t let a customer wait an hour before deciding to cancel the order without a phonecall, apologies or anything! We could’ve ordered something else in the meantime!!! Especially because it was late at night and most other restaurants are also closed. Will not order here again.

Our family has eaten biryani many times, but we had one of the tastiest ones so far. The gentleman is also really customer friendly, neat.

Deze plek is wel niet zo bijzonder om uit eten te gaan, maar het eten is wel lekker. Alleen vind ik wel jammer, dat er op de drankenkaart een goedkopere prijs staat voor de drinken en als je gaat afrekenen dan betaal je per drank 1 euro duurder, dan dat wat op de menu kaart staat vermeld. Bv een cola staat voor €2,50 en als je gaat afrekenen, dan betaal je €3,50. En dat vind ik niet zo, zoals het hoort. Of ze moeten de prijs op de drankenkaart aanpassen.

We ordered food here yesterday. That was particularly bad. Hardly any chicken in the butter chicken and tandori dishes. Hardly any taste to the dishes. The rice tasted old and dry, the naan bread tough. And the portions are small. 54 euros wasted money. We haven't heard anything from the restaurant after our review on Thuisbezorgd.nl. We cannot call this good service.

We are Indian tourists who went to this restaurant today. after deciding the dish he said the price is high and he had to add 3 euros to the dish we chose. the rice smelled old. it's a horrible experience. never recommended this restaurant as an Indian.

After regularly ordering food from Japan or India for 3 years, today we received the worst food ever!!!, the dhal and tarka were bland and terribly sour, but also the methi chost with chicken was terribly sour. Everything tastes bland and sour - my suspicion is that it is not fresh and the lemon should cover this up, Hopefully we don't get sick It went up and down with the quality but the curtain has fallen -

Ordered food arrived 50 minutes late. Food was bland. Not spicy at all. Food had no taste at all. Half of the order was delivered. No papadan and no salad. 6 tiny pieces of chicken fillet covered in masala sauce. The food was far too expensive in comparison. All in all, a disgrace to the name of Indian cuisine/food. A 1 star review is already 5 stars too many for them.

I've been getting takeout from here for a while now, and I absolutely love the food. Birjani Chicken is now my favorite food, I love the Lamb Samosas, and the Chicken Tikka Massala is great mixed with the Birjani as well. My sisters always get the vegetarian versions, and they love it too. I definitely recommend this place if you love Indian food.

A quiet Tuesday evening but after a long train ride decided to come for some food. The food was lovely and reasonably priced too. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Ordered Saag Paneer online and got an half-empty tray of the curry and small tray of rice, which on the other hand was full. For the prices they charge, I expected the amount of food to be a little higher and I could barely feed myself with the meal.

Ik heb een erg goeie ervaring gehad. Bezorging duurde een uur, langer dan was aangegeven maar de bezorger excuseerde zich hiervoor en bovendien was het zaterdagavond. Het (voornamelijk vegetarische)eten was echt heel erg lekker en bovendien was het veel. We hadden voor 4 personen besteld met z’n drieën en konden er 3 dagen van eten/lunchen. In de curry met mango en lychee zaten 2 stukjes mango en 1 stukje lychee, dat mag wat royaler. Ik zou het in ieder geval zeker aanraden.

Het eten was prima, maar de sfeer en ambiance van het restaurant waren ver te zoeken.. Totaal geen plek om romantisch te eten. Hooguit om lekker af te halen. Gezien 't eten wel lekker was oordeel ik 't restaurant nét aan drie sterren.

Heerlijk vooral de tandori kip, de spinazie en de curry's zijn heerlijk maar wel heet. Brood is ook heerlijk vers en nog heel warm als je het laat bezorgen.

UPDATE: Lekker eten voor een vriendelijke prijs (vroeger). Helaas zijn de prijzen enorm gestegen en krijg je ook nog eens kleinere bakjes. Wij haalden er vroeger regelmatig af of lieten bezorgen. We bestellen normaal vaak het vegetarische menu voor EUR 19 voor 2 personen. Helaas is de prijs inmiddels verhoogd naar EUR 25 en zitten de salade en papadums er niet meer bij. Een prijsverhoging doorvoeren kan kennelijk wel, maar aangeven dat je bij het menu minder krijgt dan op de website staat, wordt helaas niet gedaan. Pinapparaat doet het al jaren niet dus wij pinnen dan even bij de AH tegenover. Voor zover wij weten heeft het pinapparaat het nooit gedaan en daarom bestellen we soms ook via de website waarbij je gemakkelijk kan bestellen en betalen via Ideal. Het eten staat altijd op de afgesproken tijd keurig ingepakt klaar. Update: prijs voor vlees is ook verhoogd. EUR 6 voor kleine stukjes vlees. Ik vind het het niet meer waard. Heel jammer dat je geen waar meer krijgt voor je geld. Dit was vroeger wel anders.

Vandaag besteld bij Jaipur of India. Het eten was er binnen 45 minuten. Het eten kwam warm aan en smaakte echt super lekker. Niks te klagen. De man aan die ik aan de lijn kreeg was super aardig en behulpzaam nadat ik een foutje had gemaakt in mijn bestelling. Kom ik zeker terug 👍🏻

De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en bescheiden. Dit heeft ook een keerzijde, want hij durft zijn echtgenote niet aan te spreken op haar hinderlijke gedrag, namelijk keihard op haar telefoon Social media filmpjes kijken, in de ruimte waar de gasten aan het eten zijn. Zelfs niet na meerdere klachten, hij is gewoon te lief. Het eten is dik in orde, wij hadden het driegangenmenu van Groupon, waarbij we alles op de kaart mochten kiezen (behalve garnalen en andere prijzige vissoorten, daar moest je wat extra's voor betalen). Alles was lekker en vlot klaar, wij zaten na een ruim half uur al aan het hoofdgerecht, terwijl we toch het gevoel hadden dat we rustig het voorgerecht hadden gegeten. De salade (voornamelijk sla) bij het voorgerecht had geen dressing, maar de heerlijke mintsaus die kosteloos werd bijgevuld paste uitstekend, dus geen punt. Misschien is dit qua ambiance niet de beste plek om uit eten te gaan (wat overigens met simpele aanpassingen verholpen kan worden), maar voor bestellen of afhalen in ieder geval een uitstekende keus.

Het beste Indiase Curry restaurant van de buurt!

Niet verder zoeken naar een ander restaurant! Het eten hier is altijd fantastisch! Goed warm, goed gekruid, mals vlees en vriendelijk personeel.

I have been to Jaipur a few times, since I live quite close to it. The restaurant itself might not exude a cosy ambiance, but the people are friendly and the food is always delicious. The owner oftentimes comes out to check how things are. I personally really like their vindaloo, and their saag paneer is also very tasty. Would recommend bringing cash, as the card payment terminal isn't always in use.

What a great customer service! We have ordered above 50€ which offered us a free wine if choice. With the first delivery it didn’t come, but as we have finished the delicious meal, the delivery person rang the door with a bottle of wine! Love it! Great food :)

My boyfriend and I have been ordering the vegetarian menu for two, for over six years. Our absolute favorite take out in The Hague. generous portions, excellent flavor. We particularly love the samosas with mint yogurt sauce. However the last three times We have ordered this dish it has been way too salty. I thought the first time it was an accident, but now I am thinking the recipe has changed. As someone who loves salt and tends to add too much myself, the fact that I find it too salty really says something. I would be quite sad to stop ordering and recommending this dish, so I hope the owner sees this and will pretty please tone the salt down. 🙏 otherwise I totally recommend.

Al jaren het beste Indiase restaurant van Den Haag en misschien wel van Nederland, aangezien ik na tientallen andere plekken tot dusver geen betere ben tegengekomen. De linzensoep, nan, biryani's (kip tikka) en de verschillende curry's zijn mijn aanraders, maar het is eigenlijk allemaal fantastisch. Traditioneel bereid door de eigenaar. Tip: als je via hun eigen app besteld, krijg je 5% korting op elk gerecht.

Lekker. Heb nog niet alle Indiase restaurants in Den Haag geprobeerd, maar wel een aantal en deze heeft echt met voorsprong het lekkerste eten. De bezorging was vorig jaar niet zo best, maar de laatste drie keer ging het helemaal goed, dus ik denk dat ze dat opgelost hebben.

Als je echt lekker Indiaas wilt eten zit je hier goed. Smaakvolle gerechten, lekker gekruid en goede porties. Dame die ons bediende was vlot en vriendelijk. De reden voor 4 in plaats van 5 sterren is de aankleding van het restaurant. Dit is erg ongezellig en kaal. Verder dik tevreden en lekker gegeten en daar gaat het voornamelijk om.

De aankleding van het restaurant is matig: rommelig, kaal en kan véél beter. Het is er ook koud en tochtig. De voorgerechten waren goed. Lekkere Onion bhaji pittige linzensoep en en flinke portie tandoori kip. Allen van goede smaak Er word geen alcohol geschonken De mango lassie is vers gemaakt en zeker aan te bevelen De saag josh was goed en pittig gekruid en het lamsvlees precies goed gaar De vis massala was milder maar ook weer lekker. De portie waren voor ons ruim voldoende De kulfie was ook erg lekker Kortom de matige aankleding van het restaurant is geen maatstaf voor het lekkere eten

Met 4 personen, waarvan twee vegetarisch, heerlijke gerechtjes gegeten. Pikant maar niet té. Wij waren de enige gasten. Wel reden steeds maaltijdbezorgers af en aan. Heel aardige jongedame in de bediening. Chef uit de keuken kwam meermalen heel vriendelijk vragen of het smaakte en had gesmaakt. Er wordt geen alcohol geschonken en dat is voor wijnliefhebbers als wij wel jammer. Maar de zoethout thee en verse mangosap waren heerijk. Entourage is niet heel sfeervol, maar eten en vriendelijke service maakt alles goed.

Uno de los peores restaurantes. En primer lugar, la comida servida no hacía justicia en cuanto al sabor ni a la calidad. El servicio fue terrible. Las raciones no eran buenas. La higiene del restaurante era seriamente cuestionable. Se pudo encontrar polvo en el costado de los platos, los baños estaban en un estado terrible, los vasos no se limpiaron correctamente y apestaban. La comida estaba pasada y sabía menos. Quisiera seriamente consultar con las autoridades para el control de higiene una vez.
