Very disappointing. Booked via The Fork with 50% off, but they only applied it to 2 dishes. Restaurant was almost empty yet food took 40 mins to arrive. Portions were tiny, butter chicken was just sweet with no flavour, and the garlic naan had zero garlic taste. Everything felt cheap and bland. Won’t be coming back.

Very friendly service! The samosa and tandoor chicken appetizers were delicious! Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the butter chicken… I thought it tasted more like a korma, but I didn't consider it butter chicken. The naan was delicious!

My boyfriend and I decided to try something new and ended up going here. The food was great! Service was nice. I felt like i was sitting in my grandmas living room which to me was nice.

I saw a lot of negative comments in the reviews but didn’t expect it to happen to me. The food was bad and the taste was terrible. The butter chicken too sweet, and the garlic bread was awful. I ordered one bottle of Coke, but the staff gave me two. Really regret spending money here. Not recommended.

We had dinner here yesterday, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. First of all, the hygiene left much to be desired. The napkin had a black spots on it, and one of the plates was not clean. Although the waitress was friendly, we felt misled during the ordering process. We chose the 2-for-1 offer and ordered pakora, tandoori chicken with gravy, and madras paneer. The waitress convinced us to order an extra side dish, so we added an aloo gobi and a garlic naan. We received a complimentary papadum, which is standard in many restaurants, but we were only given one papadum for the table along with three chutneys. The mint chutney was so thick it resembled garlic butter. The pakora came in four tiny pieces without any chutney, and the portion was underwhelming. The main dishes lacked flavor. The chicken tasted old and was not well-seasoned, and the madras paneer was bland. Drinks were also disappointing. The mango lassi was very thick and served warm, and the cola had hardly any fizz. It tasted like it had been opened earlier or possibly refilled. After paying, we looked at the receipt and realized that we had been charged €16.95 for the aloo gobi, which was listed as a side dish on the menu. We were shocked by this, as we’ve never paid that much for aloo gobi at any restaurant. The total bill came to around €61, which we felt was far too much for what we received. The only thing we enjoyed was the garlic naan. Overall, the poor hygiene, misleading upselling, and low food quality made this a very disappointing experience. Sadly, this was our first and last visit. Definitely not recommended.

We went for a social deal dinner with a larger group of girls and the food did not disappoint. Generous portions, great flavour and a lot of options and reasonably priced!

The food was delicious however the wait time to get the food was very long.I waited for almost an hour to get served with food. The food portions was also smaller compared to other Indian restaurants i have been to. I went there on valentines day so maybe that was why to service was slow. The atmosphere was nice.

Had to wait more than 1.5 hours for the starter... the shop was completely full. Lighting way too bright and a lot of noise.. food was dry and for the bowl of vegetables you pay 16.95, all in all worthless for us or anything more. We skipped dessert because we didn't know how quickly we had to get out of here.

Way too expensive. Bottle of water €7! Piece of naan bread €4.50! Mini bowl of vegetables (spicy while we asked for non-spicy) €10. Definitely not worth the price. Food was reasonable but definitely not worth the price. Service had little regard for guests, but not unfriendly.

Been here with Family to celebrate a birthday. The starters are great, we had some Onion bhaji and lamb tika both were tasty. as mains we ordered a few different mains all come in separate bowls / Dishes so you can share it with eachother. to Describe: The Lamb Vindaloo is a nice red curry a tad spicy but very good. The chicken Ceylon is a nice medium to spicy curry with great flavor. The Chicken Korma was great too. Staff was friendly too.

They're scammers. We had to wait more than 1.5 hours for our food and we had our 1-year-old child with us. You get way too little food for the price you have to pay!!! For example, we get two super small samosas and two small pieces of chicken fillet for the price of 10.95 euros! Scandalous. We paid almost 60 euros for a small amount of food. WE WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN.

We made a reservation on a Saturday evening. Surprised that we were the only guests. Service was fast and good. As a starter we got papardam for free. Food is nice, but the price is not good in comparison with the amount that has been served. The special mixed grill is nice, also reasonable amount, but the price for a small bowl of aloo begun with just some pieces of potatoes and aubergine is very exaggerated. Also the price for naan bread is overrated. Nice restaurant, but a place we will come back because of the prices.

My dish was certainly tasty, that of my table companion less so. The bill was hefty. When I looked at the bill again at home, it turned out that more had been charged than we had consumed. We were also recommended Indian beer, which was served in a ridiculously large volume for a ridiculously high price. I brought this up to the owner and asked for a response, but he wouldn't give one. Draw your own conclusion.

Got a good deal through social deal with a choice of 3 course menu. Starter we have pakora and samosa Super tasty. Main course we have butter chicken and Tikka chicken massala. The latter was tasty. The spicy content was just right. The meat is tender. For dessert we had gulab jamun because we had run out of kheer. This one was ok.

Tasty Indian food. We come here regularly and the food always tastes good. The owner is friendly and comes to inquire whether everything is to your liking and also has a chat. We will come back here more often and can also recommend coming to taste it.

We had dinner here with a few friends during our holiday in The Hague, and i can tell it was surprisingly good indian food! We will come back for sure next time.

Food is not bad but it lacks of that kick that you expect when eating Indian food. Everything is a bit bland and dry, poor use of the spices, and portions are also very small considering the price. We also ordered a grilled dish and the smoke from the grill filled the all room, it was suddenly very foggy! The service was okay, and the location is very good, exactly in the center of The Hague. I don't think I will come back.

Food was delicious but everything on the expensive side, bottled water 8 euros half a liter of beer 9 wine 🍷 8 and bread 4.5 and service incomprehensible. Food was really tasty but the ridiculous prices around it ruined your evening

Had dinner with a super large group tonight (24 people) and it was really great. First of all, very pleasant communication with the restaurant in advance. The food was fantastic and really cheap. The service was also simply great. I would definitely recommend it!

I recently ate here again, and it is always very good, and respectful service! I have invited several people here before and they were all more than satisfied and surprised by the quality! The food is of top quality and we think it is one of the best in The Hague. TRY TO EAT HERE TO JUDGE FOR YOURSELF. We had dinner here again for the second time in January, more than perfect. Staff very good. Ate again on May '24, and still highly recommended!!! Third time, with 5 people now to celebrate my microsoft and Nvidia Palantir and Addepar wins again!!! 😎 The quality is getting better and better. I really don't understand the negative reviews here. This restaurant is not recommended! We ordered our entrees and we didn't even get the correct order. When we were supposed to receive our main dish, all our plates were DIRTY (there were 6 of us). The butterchicken we ordered was not butterchicken, it was very dirty and herbs were missing. The tikka masala that we ordered was also not the correct order because we received a grill instead, so it was not right at all. The restaurant was also not hygienic at all because there were also mice walking around there. If it were possible I would give this restaurant a 0, but that is not possible so I give it a 1.

I m pregnant and was craving indian so i ordered via thuisbezorgd, after waiting for an hour my order is still in delivery is being confirmed, nobody is answering at the restaurant, nobody is answering in the chat via the app This is not the first time they take our money and never deliver. We had dinner here with 5 people a few days ago and we all thought it was very worthwhile and top quality. Delicious wines and a very wide choice, they also knew a lot about the wines! The food was the best I ever tasted in India! You should know my wife is Indian and a chef herself!! Should I tell you more? So we will give all 5 5 stars! 5X5=25 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟

Please don't waste your money eating here. We went here the other evening (party of nine). The waiter was complaining that we hadn't ordered enough food, bearing in mind 3 members of our party were children so we weren't going to order a curry each. He said he could have let our table go to a party that might have spent more money. Food was below average, tough chicken. They refused to give us tap water. Bottled water was 7 euro per bottle! Pickle tray was diabolical, just mango chutney and some other average condiment. In conclusion, waste of money, rude staff which spoilt our family meal & terrible food and slow service.

Had to adjust review downwards after last visit. We won't be coming back here again. In any case, the service and quality of the food have not improved... The owner starts a discussion about the number of dishes ordered (supposedly too few for the number of people), bordering on rude! A fine restaurant in itself, but things are a bit messy. Called in advance about social deal discount, but that no longer applied, even though it was on the site. Pickel tray is very sparse and you don't get plates for the pappadums. The children were served the starter earlier, while we had indicated that we wanted it during the main course. The dishes have also become smaller. The taste of 2 jalfrezis differed enormously. The service is OK, but it could really be more attentive.

NOT FOR INDIAN TASTE... DONT GO !! HORRIBLE FOOD... HORRIBLE SERVICE. No Tap Water. Bottled Water is €7. 😳 We ordered mix platter for €11 which came with literally one piece of Onion pakoda(burnt), one piece of frozen Tiny Samosa and 3 small pieces of chicken tikka(Uncooked & stale). in the Main Course, it was shahi paneer and chicken korma which was a bland, tasteless sugary curry and both were similar. We are yet to figure, in what world Korma is served in Yellow Color. In Breads, They say they only have naan, however, what they serve is Khamiri roti, that too half cooked. probably they buy them from the supermarket, heat it and serve. They also miss on bringing the items to the table and still charge your for that. There was kitty party of 10-12 ladies and they literally returned their more then half items unused. €74 wasted.

The food was tasty but the service was terrible. They got angry because we had ordered too little and he said, "I canceled all kinds of people so that you can eat here, and you order very little." We have been here many times, and always laughed, and they know us well, too. but because of this we will never come back! We were about to walk away but he kind of laughed it off. I wouldn't come here! (I ordered a dame blanche, and I know that can be quite big, but I got a pathetic scoop of ice cream, with a dollop of whipped cream and a drop of chocolate.)

We had a nice meal here, although it was quite expensive. I was shocked by the price of the box of mushrooms, €16.95 before payment. Feels a bit like we've been fooled for just a 200 gram container of mushrooms. Furthermore, portions are also on the small side. It was a Groupon deal so it was nice to try it once, but for us it won't be a second time. Service very nice and friendly staff.

The food was ok but really nothing special. The Biryani could have benefited from a yoghurt sauce or similar. And in general the price for 2 (!) samosas and vegetable rice was way too high with 20€ for both.

A cozy restaurant, where the food is good. More than worth the visit!

We found the portions very meager. My friend ordered Mixed grill, he got a few pieces of chicken on the bone without rice/naan or potato. So we had to order this separately. Chicken Tikka had little taste, this was okay in terms of portion. It wasn't worth the money. Paid too much for what you get. Not to be repeated.

I'll never come back to this place again. The personnel was incredibly rude.

Food was not great. I ordered samosas and chicken tikka for starter and it was over cooked like a little burned. Chai was not good as well, it was not prepared very well just milk poured in boiled chai water. Quantity was so less for too much price. Sorry but it was a big disappointment.

It's not an Indian restaurant. But an Indian restaurant. The difference is Indian is Indonesia and Indian is India.

An incredible restaurant! The dishes are fantastic. It was even sorted into low, medium and highly spicy food, which is extremely useful if you dont want to accidentally order something very spicy. I greatly recommend the mango lassi drink. To add onto all of this, the staff are all really kind and helpful. The paintings on the walls were also beautiful, not only that but there was also cloth hung on the wall which was truly admirable. 10/10

If you want to try Indian food, Ramna restaurant is the right location. Here you can taste the food, love and hospitality of Indian cuisine. The staff is very friendly. The service is very good and the food is incredible. 10 stars overall. ❤️

Great food, really tasty, delicious. But it took more than 1 hour to be served, which is rather long (we were with 9 people, maybe that's why). Owner is very friendly and can't do enough to help. The place needs a makeover, it looks like it hasn't changed in 30 years.

Hardstikke lekker, leuk opgediend, snel ook. Grote porties. Heerlijke lam, en groentecurry. Had ook nog genoeg over om mee naar huis te nemen.

I am a regular customer this restaurant. I have been coming here for years. The service is top notch and very professional. The food is amazing and it always come in time. Even when its busy its served within 15 mins. I have to honestly say its the best indian restaurant in Den Haag.
