We had to wait a while for our pancakes, but it was definitely worth it.

A cozy pancake house where you can unwind after a lovely walk in the woods! Relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, and a delicious bacon pancake. It's great that you can also order a small pancake with your choice of toppings for those with smaller appetites.

This is a great place for pancakes! Yes, the ones with bacon, raisins, and apple, and you'll definitely find them on your pancake too! The staff is incredibly friendly and takes the time to help you. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

A functionally furnished pancake house. Don't expect anything rustic. Spacious terrace. Friendly and attentive service. The pancakes are large and a meal in themselves. The apple, raisin, and bacon pancake was perfect. The onion and cheese pancake was less so. When the cheese topping melted, the bottom had gotten too dark. The chef offered a polite apology. My compliments on the drinks menu, which includes a wide selection of organic Budels beers.

Made a reservation but that reservation had not arrived. Were put at a dirty table, there were more tables where the dirty plates remained. First drink came fairly quickly, but we had to wait over an hour for the pancakes. In between, no one came to ask if we wanted another drink. Young waitresses who don't know what to do.

Eerste bezoek. Hier worden de pannenkoeken nog op de ambachtelijke manier gebakken, gewoon in de koekenpan. Er wordt de tijd voor genomen en dat proef je. Niet op zo’n carroussel productie machine. Wij hebben genoten van de ui / kaas / sambal en de spek / gember pannenkoeken. Voor herhaling vatbaar en zeer aan te bevelen

Friendly staff who give you a warm welcome and provide friendly service. Unfortunately, the price/quality ratio is poor, considering you pay top price for everyday food. We would therefore not recommend eating here.

Toevallig gevonden na wandeling. Bestelling latte macchiato en kaaspannenkoek ging vlot en personeel is vriendelijk. Pannenkoek smaakte lekker. Kaas heerlijk meegebakken. Prijs zeer acceptabel.

Meerdere pannenkoeken afgehaald na een telefonische bestelling. De bestelling was klaar op het afgesproken tijdstip, alles was keurig verpakt om warm te houden tijdens meenemen. De pannenkoeken waren goed gaar, lekker ouderwets in een pan gebakken (blijkbaar tegenwoordig geen vanzelfsprekendheid meer) en ruim belegd met de gekozen verse ingrediënten. Veel lof dus. Waar die laatste, vijfde ster dan nog te verdienen valt? Wat mij betreft in de prijs. Pannenkoeken hebben een zeer lage kostprijs, en toch betaal je ook hier al gauw zo’n 12 euro voor een pannenkoek met twee ingrediënten. Net als bij veel andere pannenkoekenrestaurants overigens hoor; dit restaurant is daarin niet opvallend duurder of goedkoper dan de concurrent. Maar toch, zeker bij afhalen zijn dit echt stevige prijzen. Ik kom er desondanks zeker nog eens terug, maar wel minder vaak dan wanneer het prijskaartje wat aantrekkelijker zou zijn.

The quite young but very nice waitress Anna served our table and provided our group of 4 parents and 3 children with a wide range of delicious pancakes in a simple but decent establishment. Absolutely great. Tip: a few coloring pages and pencils for the children would have finished it off.

Pancake Janssen is definitely recommended. Don't think it's only half. This folded pancake with filling is quite a big bite. The minced meat filling stays warm for a very long time. That is really an advantage.

Small local restaurant where they mainly eat pancakes. We came there for a cup of coffee and cake and it was a delicious piece of cake. Tasted good. One person in the kitchen and one person in the service, so you sometimes have to wait a while. But hey, no rush. Reasonable prices, that may also be said.

At 6 p.m. I placed an order for 1 pancake with banana and 1 with cheese, bacon, mushrooms and onion. The order would be picked up at 6:35 PM. When my daughter comes to pick up her order, they say there are no more bananas. They could have said that straight away

Delicious pancakes! You could tell that there were only two waiters working. Took a long time before we got our drinks + no question if we wanted something else to drink. In addition, we did not find the ladies in the service very (customer) friendly.

A lovely meal and a nice terrace for coffees, teas and pancakes in the sun. Nice owner and decent food. Couldn’t ask for much more on a Sunday morning. Recommended.

The pancakes were really tasty, but that's okay after waiting more than 1.5 hours while we had made a reservation. When we asked where our pancakes were we were told it was our fault. So, if you have enough time and are already depressed, this is the place for you!

Stopped for a snack and a drink while e-chopping. Unfortunately, at a quiet moment it took a very long time before we were helped. In addition, the service was also impersonal. The coffee is standard, the 2 appetizers (8 pieces) did not arrive at the same time and took a long time in between. Only curry was also supplied. The toilets were not clean and they ran out of toilet paper. All in all, this atmospheric place is not recommended.

The food is good, but the service is more concerned with each other and with the dachshund than with the customers. It all takes a very long time to see when you are ready for a new drink or want to order. The three of us are constantly chatting behind the bar. Too bad... no repeat.

We sit down at 6 p.m. and our food is not on the table until 7:30 p.m.… 3 pancakes shouldn't take so long! The food was tasty, but don't go here if you are very hungry and don't want to wait long for your food.

Standard setup, pancakes are very greasy, block of concrete on your stomach, not recommended.

During our bites on April 21, 2024, this restaurant was our last stop and we would get our dessert We were not counted on. Halfway through the race you can also eat and this time it was Janssen's turn for pancakes. I didn't think they were special pancakes and the wow factor was clearly missing. Service was nice, but the tent was a bit lacking in atmosphere. All in all ok. I think 3.5 stars would be the correct representation. Price quality ok. €18 per person drink plus pancake.

Great company, only the external presentation is limited. Even though we were standing in front of the store, we did not have the impression that it was open. The dark appearance almost made us run away! A flag in front of the door or more lighting will certainly improve this.

It quickly became busy on the terrace at Janssen this Sunday at 2 p.m. I quickly grabbed a card from another table and placed my order by flagging down the single clerk who did not see me several times. Ordered a cherry pancake with cherry ice cream and whipped cream. That's why my order came quickly. I would have preferred more ice cream than so much whipped cream. But it was great ice cream and also great pancakes. Unfortunately, the dachshunds were not there, but that was nicely implemented in the placemate and cutlery envelope, etc. Was tipped off about this by the saleswoman at the Takko in Driebergen

Had to wait quite a long time for our pancake. Friendly staff. But it is very strange and unhygienic that there are about 5 dogs walking through the restaurant. For me this was a very unpleasant surprise. Definitely not recommended for people with dog allergies.

Was tijdens kijkdag bloemen corso Leersum. Ruim 1 uur moeten wachten op onze 3 pannenkoeken. Voor nu geen aanrader

Wij moesten 50 min wachten op ons eten. Terwijl mensen die later kwamen eerder hun eten kregen. Ze lopen met tien man personeel dus er gaat iets niet goed.

Bediening leuke meiden. Ze hadden het heel druk niet lang hoeven te wachten op de pannenkoeken., die overigens heel goed bereid waren.

Traditional Dutch style pannenkoek or pancake restaurant particularly for families and with young children taken into consideration. Warm welcome, slight cafeteria feel about it, though that's easily forgotten because of the attentive, polite and customer oriented staff. I was really impressed by the option for a gluten free pancake as well!! Of course there are other options on the menu for people who don't want pancakes, however for a family with kids or for a simple delicious dinner, absolutely good value for money! Definitely recommend it to anyone when in the neighborhood without children or for families looking for something that is family oriented.

Gewoon de beste pannekoeken tent van NL. Elk ander pannekoeken restaurant is geen Janssen 🤷‍♂️

Gegeten na een lange dag motorrijden. Personeel over het algemeen vriendelijk. Een medewerker heb ik niet als heel hartelijk ervaren. Keek nors en was kortaf. Pannenkoeken vond ik te vettig 1x Kaas champignons. 1x Italiaanse pannenkoek Zowel ik als gezelschap hebben de helft laten staan. Cappuccino had een viezig melkrandje, alsof deze al even was gezet.

Goed eten voor mooie prijs. Alleen de bediening duurde wat lang. Verder wel uiterst vriendelijke dames.

Alles wat je niet wilt in een restaurant, ook niet als het lowbudget is. Niet schoon, stinkende wc's, de kok die geen buis draagt en er onverzorgd uit ziet en die zijn 3 honden in de zaak laat rondlopen. Hij kwam net terug van ze uitlaten, heb hem zijn handen niet zien wassen. De meisjes in de bediening aaien de honden en wassen vervolgens ook geen handen. Dit kan echt niet. We wilden onderweg een snelle pannenkoek eten maar hebben onze drankjes opgedronken en zijn vertrokken. Kwamen er vroeger ook, toen het nog Leersums Laarsje was, maar dit was voor ons de laatste keer. Heel jammer. De 4 sterren die ze hier op TripAdvisor krijgen zijn absoluut niet terecht.

Ondanks dat het er enorm druk was en er maar één serveerster was die iedereen moest bedienen hebben we hier overheerlijke pannekoeken gegeten in een toch nog prima tijd.

Er was een duidelijke personeels tekort dat kon je merken, het duurde echt te lang voordat we onze lunch kregen. Jammer hoor, ik hoop dat er snel mensen reageren op jullie vacature!

Het duurt behoorlijk lang voordat je een heerlijke pannekoek krijgt.

Zin in een pannenkoek en kwamen uit in Leersum, dat was een goede beslissing wat een heerlijke pannenkoek hebben wij hier gegeten. Zo hoort een pannenkoek te zijn, goed gebakken en goed gevuld. Vriendelijke eigenaar die 25jaar de tent uitbaat en om dat te vieren een leuke actie had. Een enveloppe uit een bus trekken en kijken of je een bon van €25.00 had gewonnen te besteden bij een volgend bezoek.........helaas niet gewonnen, maar we komen zeker nog eens terug. Heerlijk pannenkoek banaan en uitsmijter spek gegeten. Fijn geholpen.

Na een wandeling in de bossen heb ik hier gegeten samen met een vriend. Top gastheer, die het vuur uit zijn sloffen liep en toch rustig en vriendelijk bleef. Lekker gegeten en ook nog eens heel betaalbaar. Een aanrader.

We zijn hier al vaker geweest met ons gezin. Men is altijd gastvrij, de bediening altijd behulpzaam. Eten is kwalitatief en goed bereid, voldoende om je buik meer dan te vullen. Fijn, om hier zo nu en dan is terug te komen.

Pannenkoeken zoals ze moeten zijn. Echt gebakken. Veel inhoud. Adequate bediening. Helemaal niets mis mee.kaas veel en knapperig gebakken. Appel is veel appel.
