Absurdly expensive, easily pay double the regular price for the portion you get...

I order three portions of fries without sauce to take away. The menu states that a portion of fries costs €4, and fries with sauce cost €4.50. The owner fries my fries and those of the person after me. When the fries are ready, he neatly divides them into six portions. How nice, I think; he is really trying his best to divide them very nicely. I realize that I should go there with my daughter sometime to eat a kapsalon; she would surely like that. He packs my order and says: "That will be €13.50." I ask if that is correct; didn't I order three portions of fries without sauce? That should be €12 then. "No, a portion of fries is €4.50," he says gruffly, "just look at the menu." I take the menu and say, "It says here that fries without sauce are €4. You packed fries without sauce for me, didn't you?" He takes my order back from the counter and gets angry. or I think he is a thief. No, I say, not at all. I think you are making a small mistake. Nothing serious, it happens. He remains angry; according to him, I am acting like a thief. Sorry, I say, what is going on here? I am not calling you a thief at all, there is just a misunderstanding. The other customers support me, but it is no use. He refuses to sell me fries. I offer to pay the €13.50 instead of €12, but no. I just have to go to the snack bar around the corner, and he grumbles angrily that he isn't a snack bar, that he sells shawarma, and that he only made fries for me to help me out. I try one last time to be friendly: Now you aren't selling anything, you have to throw food away, and I don't have any fries. Can I just pay? He sticks to it; I didn't get my order. So we are never getting that kapsalon here. Peculiar man. I'll just assume he was having a bad day and that's why he was acting so weird.

Too bad, a not-so-good experience compared to the average rating… portions are really small, had to get our own cutlery, and communication could be much smoother!

The food was ready quickly. We ordered a chicken kapsalon and fries. A total of €18.50. This was for two people, but the portion was so small that it was enough for one. If you order fries, you get a small plate (child's portion) of fries, and the kapsalon was very small. It's a shame, a missed opportunity, because the food was otherwise delicious.

It's exactly what you'd expect from a shawarma place. Excellent food and a unique interior. The staff were surprisingly friendly.

Were there shortly after 8 p.m., there wasn't much going on. We ordered Dürüm kebab, meat was warmed up in a pan, sparingly topped with a little lettuce, a slice of cucumber and tomato, nothing else. Sauce was available separately. The whole thing was rather a small and sad affair for a proud €8 per roll. One was with cheese, but not with feta as expected but with normal sliced ​​cheese! 🤦‍♂️For €10.50!!! The service was attentive and quite friendly, the food was a bitter disappointment.

Food was okay, but you get a small pita sandwich with a little shawarma/veal in it and you pay 10 euros for that. They call that sandwich welcome. Not recommended unless you have too much money and want to donate to a good cause

The gentleman makes me pay but doesn't give me any food, then I get scolded for giving me food... other than that, it's not edible and they don't honor what you ask for your food! Don't go if you are in Thorn! Better to wait an hour and a half for an order than this!!

He can cook well, prepare well, that's why it tastes so good. The Shawarma is wonderfully seasoned. There is also a tomato sauce, add some red sauce to make it a bit more exciting...!

Een eenvoudige shoarmazaak op de Kampweg in Doorn. Wij gingen hier om een uur of 7 heen voor een snelle hap na een sportwedstrijd. Het was binnen wat vergane glorie qua uiterlijk, maar het eten was wel goed, smakelijk, goede hoeveelheid, temperatuur. De shoarma vond ik wel erg fijn gesneden, maar de diner was wel beter.

Hier zojuist een broodje kaas + kapsalon gegeten. Vriendelijke man, eten was heerlijk en snel klaar. Zeker een aanrader!.

Top bedrijf... eten is van goede kwaliteit. Zeer goede personeel 👍👍👍👍

Aardige gast, slechtste turkse pizza die ik ooit heb gegeten. Veel te duur ook. Absoluut geen aanrader. Van dit eten word je eerder ziek dan blij!

Super vriendelijke en jonge ondernemer (Eigenaar), het eten wordt altijd met liefde bereidt, na vele jaren over de vloer te komen, kom ik er nog steeds graag en speciale wensen in verband met een maaltijd is altijd mogelijk! Vele keuzes en gezellig voor een maaltijd met het gezin of natuurlijk gewoon voor de snelle hap. Altijd open en een gezellige sfeer.
