The food is incredibly delicious, and the service is fantastic. Highly recommended. The only downside is the acoustics; it can get quite loud at times. A corner table might be a solution.

I went here with a colleague and we had the Jasmijn banquet. The food was absolutely delicious and the 6 courses were sufficient to fill me up. Service is friendly and atmosphere is good. There's also seating outside in the front of the restaurant, albeit that that is on a fairly busy road. We did make a reservation and it was pretty busy, so definitely reserve to guarantee a table. Parking can be found in the streets surrounding the street that the restaurant is on. I thought it was good value for money and will definitely be back if I'm in Utrecht again.

Looking for a brasserie we drove past here. Where we saw people with happy faces sitting on the terrace and immediately decided to get the very first parking space. Once inside we thought wow we are in the right place, and we let ourselves be surprised with the 4-course menu. Delicious!! Fresh products are certainly used here, a tasteful fusion of different Asian cuisines, If you can enjoy Asian cuisine you really should not drive or walk past this. Eating here is worth just a little more than a 5th star. Wow! definitely surprised.

Rarely given five stars so easily! Opted for the surprise menu. Well; what.a.surprise. Really: fantastic experience. A fusion of Asian cuisine, from Thailand to Vietnam and everything around and in between. From a stylish amuse that was really to kiss to the dessert "sticky black rice with mango". It was insanely good, not to mention the lychee cocktail... The service: great. Involved, sweet, good. Big tip given. The atmosphere: extremely friendly, completely full (so book on time), nice music in the background. Had a great time at Jasmijn & ik! We went for the vegetarian chef’s choice menu — each course was unique and full of flavor. The main was a bit on the sweeter side for our taste, and by then we were already so full that dessert felt a bit much. We tried two desserts (lemongrass & matcha, and sticky rice with mango) — not really our thing, but that’s just personal preference. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, but it did get quite loud, so chatting wasn’t the easiest. Overall, a lovely experience with creative dishes and a warm atmosphere!

Because of the good reviews and the proximity to our hotel, we went to this restaurant and were seated even without a reservation. I'll remember this meal for a long time, I've probably never had Asian food that was so good. Somehow all the dishes were special! The two of us shared five dishes and each had a dessert.

Een mooie combinatie van Chinees en Indonesisch eten. Goede bediening en genoeg kleine hapjes voor vegetariërs. Ook voor jonge kinderen met een goede eetlust. Alleen minder hoofdgerechten voor vegetariërs. De smaken bevoelen ons heel goed en ook de versheid. Prijs verhouding met wat je krijgt, ook prima!

During a visit to Utrecht, to visit the new Doloris Anoma Maze, we searched Google for a Thai Restaurant. Our choice fell on "Jasmijn and I" in Kanaalstraat... What an incredibly attractive restaurant, with cozy, created corners, beautifully laid tables and a sleek terrace with fresh plants and greenery... But more importantly: the food was very tasty, varied flavors and sensations and portions to share... A bottle of Chardonnay completed our feast... Nice, smooth, no-nonsense service and pleasant service completed our experience... The Curry and (caramelized) walnuts with beetroot salad was a great taste experience and the spring rolls were fresh and well filled... Look no further, but book a table immediately if you want a surprising Thai dinner in a relaxed atmosphere...

The food was extremely good. We stopped by by chance, ordered several things from the menu and were very pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was. The dumplings had a tasty crispy dough and a delicious filling, tasted great and homemade, not ready-made like in some other restaurants. The rolls with shrimp were also very good. The spinach salad had a delicious dressing and the caramelized walnuts were very good. And the curry was nice and spicy. The service was very attentive. We remember it as an outstandingly great restaurant that we would like to visit again.

We hebben onlangs genoten van een heerlijk diner bij Jasmijn en Ik. Het verrassingsmenu was een absolute traktatie! Elk gerecht was prachtig gepresenteerd en vol van smaak. Fantastisch! Wat ons echt opviel, was de attentheid en flexibiliteit van het personeel. Ze hebben het menu met veel zorg aangepast aan de dieetwensen van ieder van ons, en dat werd enorm gewaardeerd. Dit zorgde ervoor dat we allemaal zonder zorgen konden genieten van de gerechten. Dankzij deze fantastische ervaring zullen we zeker terugkomen. Complimenten aan de chef en het hele team voor een overheerlijke avond!

We ended up here as it was very close to our hotel. Didn't have a reservation so we sat at the bar. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We went for the multi-course "surprise" menu and it seriously ended up being one of the top meals I've had in many years. Really, every dish was excellent. We'd have eaten multiple meals here if we'd stayed in town longer.

Nice place with delicious Asian food and super friendly service. Reservations are recommended. We have a place in a cozy corner. After the house amuse, the ordered dishes. My wife was surprised with a choice from the vegetarian menu options. And I go for the meat options. Everything is creatively laid out and delicious. However, in the cozy corner you feel a flow of cold air (perhaps from the exhaust unit of the air conditioning above our heads). The staff immediately does something about it, but unfortunately it is short-lived. Over time the weather becomes cooler; we take it for granted. Tip for the owner: check your website for old information. Remove the link to your 2018 blog. And immediately delete the information about Father's and Mother's Day 2018.

This evening I had the joy of dining out with my entire team, which by itself is already a joyous occasion. Yet at the moment of leaving the office, I still didn't know where the evening would guide me, to which restaurant. And boy oh boy, now looking back, do I feel happy and content this evening set me on the path of Jasmijn & ik ('me' in Dutch). Because their cuisine is nothing short of absolutely SPECTACULAR in all caps. And I'm not the type of person of ever to boast about where I have dined or the places that I have seen. But believe if I say, that if you like the Asian cuisine, you like fusion, you like top notch service and a well balanced 4 course dinner, than look no further than Jasmijn & Ik on the Kanaalstraat. This is most definitely a restaurant that i will be revisiting in the very near future! Their food is just grandiose and exquisite!. Well done!!! ❤️

Door hotelschool den haag studenten meer dan goedgekeurd. Het eten was heel vers, je proeft dat het met liefde en kwaliteit bereid is. De aandacht en creativiteit die in de gerechten is gestopt, is een compleet feestje. Naast dit stond de bediening ons met alle enthousiasme te serveren. De sfeer in het restaurant was erg warm en het was echt een avondje uit.

Heerlijk gegeten. Leuke service. Top avond. Jammer dat we maar zo kort de tijd hadden omdat we naar een voorstelling moesten. Echte aanrader!

Voortreffelijk gegeten in een fijne ambiance! Uit de drukte van de binnenstad in een rustige setting. Als ik kon blijven totdat er iets zou worden geserveerd wat niet lekker was, had ik een slaapzak mee moeten nemen 😉

Had mijn moeder mee uiteten genomen en we waren beide oprecht heeeel erg aangenaam verrast. Het eten was echt verrukkelijk! Maar echt lekker… Ik ga graag naar verschillende restaurants, maar hier ga ik op zeer korte termijn nog eens heen. Het was een super gezellig avond met erg lief personeel. Bedankt en tot heel erg snel!

We waren met een groep van 7 dus we moesten een vast menu. Wat opzich kan maar de manier waarop Jasmijn en ik zich ervanaf maakt is niet goed. Simpele gerechten voor een veel te hoge prijs. Erg jammer dit terwijl op de kaart wel spannende gerechten staan.
