It’s a relatively affordable and the food isnt bad. Points of criticism: They served is mains before starters and one person got their first dish 15 minutes after everyone already got their second dish without explanation or apology. They came by with stuff we didnt order asking if it was ours. The food wasnt hot when it arrived, seemed like most of it was deep fried of microwaved. The fusion aspect of this restaurant means they have food from different cuisines, not actually mixing them. So same as a kebab shop that also sells pizza. Except the service is slower. It’s a strange in between where it’s not a quick cheap bite, but also not a full service restaurant. Good to note as well, not alcohol is served here. Thats a plus in my book, but good to know for others. Veggy/vegan options are limited. Music felt like we were in a hip clothing store. But again, nothing was bad or unpleasant, just manage your expectations.

The service was friendly, helpful, and very hospitable; you feel truly welcome the moment you walk in. I also really appreciated that they have a separate prayer room. This shows that they consider their guests and their needs. The space was clean and tidy, which I really loved. In short: delicious food, warm service, and superb facilities. I do not recommend it if you have any allergies, because the information they provide was very controversial… we asked several times and not once have we received the same information about the dishes. Also, we barely got what we ordered, there were a lot of mistakes made.

The only positive thing about this restaurant is the sushi. The service is very poor. The waitresses pull an irritated face because they themselves brought the wrong order. Not to be repeated.

Despite having a clear reservation at the restaurant, we were placed in a bare meeting room (see photo) without any prior communication. There was no atmosphere or ambiance: bright lights, a long wooden conference table without tablecloths or decorations. This is not what you go out to eat for. The service was also disappointing: the waiters sighed and were unprofessional. When we expressed our disappointment upon arrival, we were told that we should have notified them beforehand, while a restaurant should proactively communicate if a large group couldn't be seated in the restaurant and they were diverted to a meeting room. Regarding the food: the sushi was good, but the other dishes were mediocre and nothing special, certainly not something you specifically go out to eat for. Advice to management: be transparent with group reservations, explicitly ask if a meeting room is acceptable, minimally decorate such a room (table linens/decorations) or arrange tables in the restaurant. And above all: improve the hospitality and tone. We arrived enthusiastically for a pleasant evening but left disappointed. We won't be back.

The food was decent, but when I ate the sushi, it tasted like it had a piece of plastic in it. The seaweed was absolutely awful. Customer service was lacking; there wasn't a smile, and the staff seemed very arrogant. Definitely not something I'll be returning to, especially for the price! The ambient lighting in the restaurant was very dim, which didn't create a pleasant dining atmosphere.

The food was okay, but way too expensive for what you get. Some dishes arrived cold, even though they said that's how it should be.

Honestly, it's a shame Utrecht doesn't have more places like this. This one was so delicious and so cozy inside. I'll definitely be back, because there was so much on the menu I still want to try. We were placed in the back near the restroom and kitchen. For the price we paid, we were cut off from the feeling of being in a restaurant. It ruined the whole atmosphere; you can't even hear the music there. The chicken tacos were also inedible. Not recommended and won't be returning. The staff is difficult to understand; they speak a lot of slang, but basic Dutch is a bit of a stretch.

My husband and I dined here for the first time. The atmosphere was lovely and positive, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We thought the food was absolutely fantastic! Plenty of choices. We tried all sorts of different dishes. The appetizers and sushi were delicious and fresh. The Thai rice with chicken and cashews was also delicious. Other than that, no negatives to mention. Definitely a place we'll be back for! Highly recommended!

Top halal restaurant! The menu isn't extensive, but they offer a delicious variety of appetizers. From sushi to tacos, steak, grilled meat, desserts, and mocktails. (Note: This restaurant does not serve alcoholic beverages.) Everything they serve is halal. You can taste the quality of everything from fish to meat. The service and atmosphere are excellent, and you'll receive a warm and friendly welcome. The food service doesn't take too long, so you can take your time and enjoy your snacks and drinks. It's a shared-dining concept, so you get multiple pieces of sushi, maki, sashimi, nigiri, tacos, and fries, all served to share. The restaurant has a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere, and the decor and furnishings are attractive and inviting. The staff also maintains good hygiene, cleanliness, and cleanliness. All in all, a top restaurant, perfect for a delicious meal for two or four... or even solo, of course. 😀 Don't expect a fast food joint for dining with a large group of more than four people. It's a small, cozy place, not too busy or too quiet, but perfect for taking a date out for dinner, for example. The price-quality ratio is quite good; you get reasonable value for your money, regardless of the food or drinks you order. Portions are generous, the food is excellent, and it's all Halal. I had a wonderful meal here today. I didn't have a reservation, and I was given a very warm welcome. You feel welcome as a new customer. The food was delicious! It's clean inside, and you can enjoy halal luxury food here. The menu offers many options. The staff is very friendly. A real asset to Utrecht's luxury halal Asian restaurant.

We just had a delicious meal with my girlfriend: the food and service were top notch.

I hesitated to go because of OLD TikTok videos with less-than-stellar reviews. So glad we went anyway! We called 45 minutes before closing to see if we could still eat, and we were. The staff was fantastic, the food was worth a solid 9, the mocktail was excellent and large, it was affordable, and the atmosphere was great. Definitely worth going back!

It certainly wasn't worth the money, but the worst part was the staff. The girls were arrogant, I couldn't smile... They acted absolutely awful. Furthermore, the restaurant was too dark and poorly lit.

Last week I had dinner. I had the La Vida steak and it was so disappointing. I wanted it well done, but it was still pink inside. It was a truly meager portion. One small ball of rice next to 1.5 pieces of steak, which, despite being pink, was still a bit chewy. The rice was very tasty, but it was really small. For that price, I should be well-filled. I had to order more so I didn't leave hungry. The person I was with also thought it was very meager. My honest opinion is that it's not worth the price. Otherwise, it's a nice place, but I think it's overhyped.

We ate here with a large group. It was delicious! Large portions and great flavor. Definitely worth coming back.

The seafood was fresh, the flamed salmon nigiris were great. I wouldn’t get the shrimp tacos again, the guacamole or avocado they used tasted like that artificial one you can buy at the supermarkets.

We rented La Vida Asian for a special occasion and I can honestly say: everything was taken care of down to the last detail. The service was fantastic – open, friendly and incredibly hospitable. The atmosphere and energy in the restaurant were exactly what you would expect from the look and feel: warm, stylish and relaxed. The food was really great. The Thai cuisine really came into its own here: fresh, tasty and clearly prepared by a skilled chef with knowledge of oriental cuisine. And it is no small feat to get everything hot, fresh and tasty on the table for a group of 100 people at the same time – hats off!

Ate here today and I was really hungry, so I left with a full and satisfied stomach! The service was great: super friendly people who are happy to think along with you and make suggestions if you ask. The food was surprisingly tasty, especially because I didn't have high expectations beforehand. The chicken pad thai was delicious and the rest of the dishes definitely scored a solid 8! Unfortunately we were way too full, otherwise we would definitely have tried the crème brûlée. As far as I'm concerned, definitely worth repeating!

We had a delicious meal and the service was good. The food came very quickly which is very nice. We had the following: - Urumaki ebi shrimp roll - veggie gyoza - chicken gyoza - Thai steak with white rice - dynamite shrimp The latter was not so tasty because the shrimp were fried for too long, which made them too hard. I was here last week too and then we had to wait a very long time for our food, about 40 minutes, and then not everything came at the same time, only 1 main course for one person and that was also cold. Parking is possible on the other side and side of the building. Very neat and tidy restaurant. The staff is very helpful, but a smile is sometimes not so good. The man at the counter was very friendly a smile, hats off to him🙂‍↕️ They have improved themselves this time and I can now safely recommend the restaurant because the food is delicious.

We went for dinner with six adults and a baby. Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted to leave because everything was still occupied, while we had clearly made a reservation at 19:45. It was only half an hour later that we finally got a table. The service was rude and showed little to no respect. They also have no experience at all! We had to ask no less than five times for drinks, cutlery and plates - while the food was already on the table. To make matters worse, extra things were also put on the bill that we had not ordered or received at all. All in all a very disappointing experience. We do not recommend this restaurant.

We had to wait 40 minutes for our food. My lamb was still raw and I am pregnant. Rice was greasy and a bit burnt. Staff ladies were unfriendly and stood chatting and it seemed like you were bothering them. The food looked nice but that was it. We also had to wait a very long time for the drinks and even had to ask for them twice the second time we ordered. No more of me!

I recently went to Lavida Asian and it was an amazing experience! Upon arrival I was greeted very friendly by the staff, which immediately made the atmosphere cozy. The food was absolutely amazing! I can truly say that I will be back here more often. Definitely recommended for anyone who loves delicious Asian food!

The place is beautiful, the young boy who was behind the counter when we entered was friendly & social but that's about it.. My best friend & I have been looking forward to this for weeks, a night out together. Evening at the theater & a bite to eat. Found a restaurant via TikTok with great reviews so we had high expectations. Unfortunately we came home from a cold fair. The girls who were serving were anything but friendly; not social at all and they really made you feel like you were bothering them. The food was very mediocre. Tacos were hard and seemed stale, the flavors of the sushi rolls were bland & the nasi seemed to come from a package. When ordering the tacos we asked if it had iceberg lettuce. She said yes - my friend indicated she was allergic to it. What do they come up with, tacos with a lot of iceberg lettuce. The music was also way too loud. We are really disappointed. Then €90,- for 2 people is quite a lot! This is absolutely not recommended!

We got cold and tough tacos, which were not fresh. The sushi rice had little taste, and our flambéed sushi and the tempura shrimp in the sushi were cold? Impossible if it is made fresh and served immediately, with some pieces also falling apart. All in all mediocre, the beautiful interior unfortunately does not match the quality of the food.

Furthermore, the mocktails were really delicious and we had a nice evening.
