Jeffrey's Place in Delfshaven

I first came here in the early 90s (back when it was still Chou) for the tjauw min chicken. I haven't been back for years, though I did notice that the place had changed owners in the meantime. Since a number of restaurants where I used to get my tjauw min had closed, I decided to stop by here again. It certainly didn't disappoint! I really enjoyed the tjauw min chicken special.

OMG, this was the most disgusting food I've had in a long time... even the nasi was disgusting... and I don't complain easily... no vegetables, fried chicken, and a soato soup that was clearly a day past its sell-by date. This is truly outrageous for €21...

I was about to say, "What awful food they have here," but that would be lying because the food is COMPLETELY TASTELESS. We ordered a tjauwmin chicken, saoto soup, and black pudding last night. Tell you, if I had boiled some water and added some bean sprouts, rice vermicelli, and chips, I would have had exactly what they served. The tjauwmin chicken was completely dry. NEVER AGAIN, I'm throwing my money away here.

Poor service, incredibly unfriendly owner who treats customers poorly for no reason. Asking for a napkin could be the straw that breaks her back.

Tasteless and wrong food delivered. After the Chinese employee continued to ramble on in Dutch, the phone hung up. Keep the money, cause I'm never ordering again!! The Surinamese were much better!!

Aardige mensen, goede beschermende maatregelen getroffen. Lekkere rotirol, maar wel weinig vlees en veel aardappel. Jammer dat de sambal de rode Chinese variant is, ipv de gele Surinaamse (bij dit gerecht).

Tjap tjoy besteld ZONDER champignons. Mn zoon is het gaan halen en herhaalt het nogmaals. Eindstand thuis... Halve bak met champignons! Dus er bleef niet veel over... Smaakt verder wel goed. Communicatie telefonisch is redelijk tot slecht.

Geweldige kwaliteit van gerechten. Dit zijn Chinezen die niet uit Suriname komen maar om een of andere reden weten hoe ze dit moeten doen. Bizar goed.

Eten is heel duur geworden...1 nasie moksie van €13,50 naar €15,50 en nu €17,00 Veel zie je niet ..vette stukken .. Mevrouw is onaardig. Extra peper zet ze nooit...ook al betaal je ervoor. Dus nu naar een ander restaurant

Weinig vlees, geen saus dus eten is droog geen groente bij tjau min speciaal. Wat krijg je dan bij niet speciaal. Eens maar nooit meer an maar langer wachten op t eten bij de concurent

Roti besteld....in 1 woord WAARDELOOS! Het zou van hun menukaart afgehaald moeten worden! Vleesworst is ook niet te eten. Bakabana met pindasaus is wel lekker.
