We went back after a long journey, but it wasn't what we'd promised. It was very disappointing, and we went back.

The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. Lovely little restaurant. We ordered the mixed grill, which I expected more from. Unfortunately, there were too many garnishes. The bread was very tasty. There were very few sauces. We had to ask for drinks and dessert ourselves. The women's restroom wasn't great; it almost overflowed. It was hygienic. The price was also quite reasonable.

Clean, delicious, and friendly people. Prices aren't too high compared to other eateries. This also makes it easier to attract customers. I hope they find what they never expected with their earnings, and that they'll be very satisfied.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I had to wait almost 50 minutes for my food. When it finally arrived, the portion was small and the food was served sloppily. I ordered two different dishes, but unfortunately, they were no longer available. So I had to order something else. The restaurant unfortunately didn't meet my expectations. The Lebanese tasting was delicious and plentiful. Delicious bread. Baba ganoush was also delicious. The service was one person, which was a bit difficult to communicate with. Otherwise, it was pleasant. The atmosphere in the restaurant could be more inviting. I would take down the Christmas decorations like the drum kit. The tables also need replacing.

Tbh the tastiest underrated food you can eat in Rotterdam!! The food is fresh, meat is tender and the homemade ayran is the best! Also very nice people who work there. We will come more often!

The restaurant is not a 1001 night experience as they indicate. The atmosphere is simple, a bit old-fashioned. It was deserted on a Friday evening. The food was fine. The fried appetizer had to be put back in the fryer because it was still cold inside, but that was resolved neatly. Unfortunately, no alcohol is served.

Definitely not tasty food. Chicken way too salty, kebab weird taste. Even the Greek salad with feta tasted weird. Never again.

I looked around, hoping someone could help me, but people looked away, also out of discomfort. Finally I put my debit card on the counter and said I wanted to pay. He made a disrespectful gesture with his hand to send me away and said: 'Go, go, you are forgiven.' I walked away. I thought I'd wait a while before writing a nasty review. Now I want to say to that man: "If you are stressed and cannot do your job properly, then you should take a weekend off. I regularly visit cafes and restaurants. I've never experienced this before. Went for dinner last Wednesday with 8 people (after reservation). Had to wait exactly 1 hour 40 minutes for our food. The kebab grill was tasty, but the vegetables they put on each plate were not fresh and very little. The “dolma” was very poorly prepared, the filling was dry and tasted more like tomato paste than anything else. Also, the portion of the dolma was surprisingly small for the price! The restaurant employee said this is the price per 600g, but the dolma was at most 300g or less. Ordered tea after dinner (Iraqi tradition), also had to wait half an hour for the tea. We'll never come here again. Too expensive for what it is and the service is extremely poor.

Yum! We dined at Al fano's this afternoon (dinch), eating the Lebanese sampler + dessert and coffee. Best Baba Ganouch I have ever tasted! The samosas were also excellent, as was the salad. Clearly fresh ingredients. The restaurant is decorated in Arabian nights theme, which was quite fun. The menu was a full newspaper with lots of interesting factoids in addition to the menu items. Friendly staff, although service could have been a bit faster: our drinks only came long after our first course was served. But I cannot wait to go back, perhaps for their Iftar buffet which looks really great (if we can still get in!!)

My husband had found that restaurant and made a reservation to try something different 2 weeks ago. Well, it was definitely something different but very bad. We had 2 starters and 2 main courses. Hummus and something else to eat with bread.. it was ok.. but really greasy. I had asked for a mango smoothie to drink... it was the normal smoothie with a very sweet honey or syrup in it, which didn't make the smoothie tasty for me. So I asked for another one, but without the syrup... I would never have gotten it. The main courses for me were: lamb with rice and beans. The lamb was large and ok. Not special but ok.. the rice was without taste and dry. Receipts mmmm like the can of tomato... not my thing. But the worse was my husband's dish. He requested lamb (BBQ type) with salad. And he couldn't eat anything at all. The meat tasted like kerosene and was burnt. He tried to eat a piece but he couldn't...he almost threw up. I had tried it and it was immediately when I had kerosene in my mouth... even dangerous to eat, I think. I only ate the lamb from my dish. The gentleman was not happy when my husband had to clean up his entire collar. So my husband was still hungry and he ordered dessert. But we were waiting for a long time, but we never got dessert and the smoothie without syrup, they never came. Almost 2 hours had passed, we had to go back home hungry and with a bad taste in our mouths. I was with my jacket on the whole time. I feel cold inside. The restaurant per se seems dirty.. needs a deep cleaning , heating and definitely another chef. At home I had a stomach ache and felt nauseous. Never here again.

No taste high charges not like it

We ended up here via Groupon. We were served nicely. Very good price/quality ratio. We got Lebanese bread with 6 bowls of spreads and 6 hot (frying) snacks. Partly with minced lamb. Also fries and a salad. A lot for the Groupon deal. You must love Arabic cuisine. In the end it turned out not to be to our taste. Extremely suitable to try Lebanese cuisine. It may be your taste.

Sorry, but the service here is really worthless. Everything takes a very long time and is very difficult, while it was also very quiet in the restaurant. Controls are completely absent and anything but sharp. We were reserved for the main course (kebab) without bread and after asking for this, we only received 1 bread while we were sitting at the table with 3 people and ordered 3 main courses. Starter (tapas) and dessert (Kunafa and baklava) were unappetizing. The quantity of the dishes is also very little for what you pay and we even had to pay for the Iraqi tea, while you get it for free everywhere at every Iraqi restaurant after dinner. In addition, it was freezing inside the restaurant. This was the first and definitely the last time for us!!!

The food tasted ok, but unfortunately there was far too little. Biryani for €16/17 was spread out in a huge plate, but was a cup of rice at most. The same with dolma 4/5 pieces enough for a snack for €17 The pomfitte were burnt. The only thing that was enough was their oven-baked flatbread. Which we had to fill ourselves with. We paid 120€ for 2 adults and 2 children.

The food is not great because there is no garlic sauce in shawarma while this is so important and when I got it they said it was gone! I wouldn't order this if I knew there was no garlic sauce. And I get a plate like this that looks like someone just threw the sandwich! But in terms of atmosphere it was nice and staff were super nice!
