It was very busy, and they forgot my dressing. I only realized it when I got home. It was delivered 7 minutes later. Absolutely fantastic, and thank you so much.

The only vegan option is the spring roll with fries and ketchup. The restrooms (upstairs) are always filthy, partly because they're next to the children's play area.

Ordered fries with stew. Total disappointment. The fries were lukewarm. There was far too little sauce. After searching carefully, I found a few pea-sized pieces of meat. No mayo with it. Preparation took a very long time. The staff was friendly! That's the only star they get from me.

We had a delicious lunch. Service was fast and friendly. We'll be back.

The service is really low. We ordered a kip burger and sparibs and 2 drinks. The food has low quality but the service is worse! They brought the food first and after 15 20 mins when we asked for the second time where are our drinks they said we will make them now! Even though they accepted the drink order as peach lemonate but they said we dont have peach and at the end they changed to another drinks. The cuatomer service experience is really bad please fix it to save your business!

I waited for over half an hour, but finally went inside to ask where the food was, and was told they were busy. After waiting a while longer, it finally arrived. I joked beforehand and said, "Watch out, something's probably missing..." and sure enough, we didn't get the drinks, so I could go back inside. I really wonder why only inexperienced teenagers work at all the Verhagen branches these days. I used to enjoy going there, but I'll never go to Verhagen again.

I got fries today. A young man and a young girl of Dutch descent were behind the counter. It was incredibly child-unfriendly: they didn't even greet me, and I was given a sullen look as if they wanted to chase me out. This was the first and last time.

We went to eat and it took way too long, we understood it, but that long for 1 portion of fries is not acceptable. When we got them, it seemed like frozen fries that had been put in the microwave for 5 minutes, very bad, the owner should be ashamed of himself.

We waited over half an hour for two fries and two snacks. Meanwhile, we were served by people we knew after us. The spring roll wasn't cooked through. The chicken was still frozen solid. And it wasn't that busy. Absolutely no coordination in the preparation and serving.

If you order a salad with tuna, you pay €4+ for some extra tuna. And that's all you get. If you order a "nice" refreshing drink, you get a splash of water with syrup... they indicated that the picture also contained orange, and then they just tossed it in. Bad experience, I will NEVER come back here again.

I went to Verhage Nesselande today and ordered a salad with extra chicken. To my surprise, I received a salad with no sauce and only a small piece of chicken, even though I paid extra for it. On top of that, the staff was grumpy. I understand it was busy because of the nice weather, but if you can't handle that, it might be time to consider other work. Very disappointing!

All the negative reviews here are justified. This café is not worth a cent. The staff is walking around aimlessly, while half of the tables in the hall are still full of dirty plates and stains. The terrace is not cleaned at all. There are paper napkins on the floor and there is sand in the toilet. The staff prepares the food with their bare hands, without any protection or gloves. The open kitchen is dirty - you don't even want to imagine what it looks like in the closed kitchen. The dishes are dirty, as if they were cleaned without detergent. The hygiene is clearly below standard. I definitely do not recommend this café - you can get seriously ill from it.

Unfortunately it all took way too long for our food to arrive. Somewhat understandable on a hot day. The crowd didn't appeal to me.

One star is too much for what they have! You want to eat something, to continue your day in peace but, you can’t with places like this. I was asking six times for a new fork because every time, the fork was greasy or/and dirty. Every time they bring me a new one with the same problem. They even try to convince that a brown leftover is not visible by them. Even after they scratched it. 🤮🤢🤮🤢 They offered me a plastic fork but I didn’t came to a “restaurant” to eat with plastic. I don’t need microplastics inside of me only because they are unprofessional and lazy. In the end, I was washing myself one. The “manager” doesn’t have any affinity with the position because instead of saying “sorry” and to solve the problem, he shout at me that I should wash the fork at the toilet. Zero communication skills and diplomacy. Instead he consider that is the best to tell me “Enjoy your meal!” after he didn’t found any arguments. Why he is rude? He should lead the people. From all the stuff, four people at that moment, only one girl was wearing a glove(not two), the rest didn’t hear about something like this, even if, at least two was preparing the food. About the food… They put the paper with the sauce inside of the salads. The burgers are made on microwave and the person who’s making the food can serve it also, so, their hands will be dirty. Also, the food didn’t pass the toilet test. Also, the place where you can eat outside it’s dirty. The tables didn’t see any wipe in days. The chairs are often pooped on by birds, but nobody cares. I was here before, and the last time when I was, nobody was wearing gloves at the gelato when they were serving. Also, they touched money(on of the dirtiest things) and the gelato with the same hands. Also, the guy misunderstood my order 3 times(it was a chance to be more, but I give up when I see that he is on another planet). Maybe he was high. In the end, I spend more than 30 euros for dirty stuff, unpleasant vibe and people who feel entitled to give you unprofessional services in the kitchen.

Yesterday we went to the beach again to get fries etc. to eat on the beach. Yes, it was busy. But there was enough staff. Too bad none of them knew what they were doing. They were more often not behind the counter than there. What an uncontrolled mess! Waiting almost an hour for 3 fries and some snacks. Which by the way had been fried for more than 15 minutes in the basket above the fryer. The fries had also been there for more than 20 minutes and new ones were added every time. So if you were unlucky, you got the old fries. Next to the fryer was a container with incorrectly fried snacks. A (I think Moroccan lady) is walking behind the counter, looking for a snack. She can't find her order and decides to take the snack from the container next to the fryer with old cold snacks and simply gives it to a customer. And then the toilets: I have never seen anything so filthy. And when you report it, they do absolutely nothing about it. Then I get broken bitterballen, cold snacks and cold fries. Not really worth your money. And then the ladies who are preparing your salad with jewelry and fake nails. Time for them to get a check

Weird... disorganized mess, orders wrong, people asking for their money back because they're fed up with waiting after 45 minutes, claiming something wasn't on the receipt, grabbing the receipt and hey... it's there, tables dirty and full of trash...

I am not going to write here as a new customer, but I come back regularly to see if there is any improvement in this snack bar. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The filthy hygiene and poor cleaning persist, despite the fact that I have noticed this before. The food and service also remain substandard and it seems as if no improvement is being pursued. This is very disappointing and unacceptable for a catering establishment where you come regularly.

I come here three weeks ago with my husband, a very friendly girl helps us. I'm guessing the owner will walk in, someone with a Moroccan appearance. But this man had zero respect for the staff. This tent completely misses the point. Ordered 2 cheeseburgers. Both burgers were very raw on the inside. Very nice if you have already taken a bite of it. Too disgusting to mention. Once and never again. Perhaps invest in a griddle to fry burgers on instead of putting everything in the microwave. Worth less than 1 star. Owner should be ashamed of himself.

I ate here the day before yesterday, the food was delicious but the staff was very rude. I asked if they could clean our dirty table and the blonde girl responded with "we are really busy at the moment, I can clean your table if I have time." Very strange, I had to wait an hour for my food.

I think I disturbed the blonde child behind the cash register by being busy doing nothing. Friendliness is hard to find here. Tip for the owner: employ staff who know how the catering industry works. They are the face of your company. Set your priorities. I really don't understand it. I don't come that often, but when I do I am always amazed at what works here (and certainly not in the positive sense of the word). The only plus was the girl (brunette) who gave me the food, she was friendly. Put her behind the cash register and that blonde at the dishes.

We had dinner at Verhage Nesselande today. The bami disk was mediocre in taste and fat, the frikandel special had little mayo and ketchup added. The onion was enough. We were also not given any cutlery. It was difficult to find a plastic fork and a napkin myself. The remains of departed guests remain on the tables for a long time, which is not an appetizing sight. In the future we will go to Zevenhuizen.

Hugely disappointed. While we once enjoyed fries at this Verhage, the quality and atmosphere of the store is currently below par. Tables are dirty and there is food everywhere. The service consists of children who you can't even blame for such shoddy work being done considering what you pay. Fresh fries are delivered that I wouldn't even feed to a dog and then one of the servers argues with me about why the machine makes the fries that way. The milkshake that only tastes like chocolate: another server gives me a look of what are you doing? Fortunately, the female server helped me well. We will still have a soft ice cream here, but we will never eat anything here again. A real shame for such a prime location with all the possibilities.

Overwhelmed by the little ice, we won't visit again. Very nice beautiful large containers full of ice cream. We got a scoop of ice cream on a cone. Never before have we had such a small ball, it was as wide as the opening of the horn and looked sad in proportion. We were eating more horn than ice cream, a waste of our money and our moment of pleasure.

Ordered online, unfortunately not given the option to choose halal (knowing that they do sell it). We assumed that this was the halal variant, as there was only 1 choice of the product. Then we called to inquire and the answer we got was: no, that is not halal and there is nothing we can do about it. You should have put that in the comments. I'm not the most difficult person, but it seems logical to me that you look for a solution with the customer if your company does not offer certain options. Service is hard to come by. In any case, I will not order from here again from now on.

One of the more upmarket cafeterias (‘snackbars’) I’ve seen in The Netherlands. Apart from the typical deep-fried goodies they sell nice plates and even do nice apple pie and hand-made coffee. Upstairs there’s more seating and even a kids play area.

Today, Sunday January 7, around half past one, I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this branch. Behind the cash register I found a very unusual and unfriendly lady with brown hair. I was not greeted upon entering; she completely ignored me and continued with her work. I wasn't helped until she was done. I ordered a tuna melt sandwich, but to my disappointment the pesto was missing. When I confronted the cashier about this, she immediately responded with anger and irritation, claiming that it never had pesto in it. As a frequent customer who has been coming to various Verhage branches for years, I know that the tuna melt is always served with pesto. I am amazed at the customer unfriendliness and unprofessional behavior of the lady behind the cash register. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and takes appropriate action. Fortunately, the lady who served the food was friendly, but this could not compensate for the negative experience. I sincerely hope that this matter is addressed and that future visits to your facility will be more enjoyable.

After a long time, I ordered something again from Verhage Nesselande and immediately received confirmation that I should not do that anymore. Food almost cold and scanty. Although I live in Nesselande, fortunately there is also one in Nieuwerkerk. In any case, they have more and, above all, friendly staff there.

The food is good, the place looks great but the employees seem to be uninterested students, they don't even clean the tables. That however could be an incident.

Ik kwam op vrijdagmiddag en wilde een hamburger bestellen. Ik werd onprettig geholpen door een Marokkaan. Tot twee keer toe hadden ze iets niet, waarop ik onvermijdelijk vroeg wat ze dan wel hadden. De reactie van de Marokkaan was onbeschoft. Uiteindelijk kreeg ik mijn bestelde patat op het terras van een fatsoenlijke Nederlandse medewerker. Ik hield er een nare ervaring aan over.

Heerlijk ijs voor een betaalbare prijs aan het strand van Nesselande. Op warme dagen even wachten door de drukte, maar dat is het waard.

Ze houden online bestellingen en normale niet uit elkaar. Je staat dus alsnog erg lang in de rij terwijl.je eten koud staat te worden. Dit is al meerdere keren voorgekomen.

Jonge collega’s worden zonder respect behandeld. Leidinggevende heeft geen respect.

Mooie en nette Verhage die ook thuis bezorgt. Ook voor de lunch genoeg keuzes zoals een broodje gezond, tosti of clubsandwich. Natuurlijk zijn ook de echte snackbar snacks aanwezig. Patat van prima kwaliteit.

Lekkere friet plus rundvleeskroket . Jongeman kwam keurig onze bestelling aan tafel brengen , het zag er verzorgd uit. De zaak ziet er wel sfeerloos uit.

Ik heb hier vandaag koffie gedronken. De plaatsen zijn erg vies. Voedselkruimels zijn overal. erg vies op de tafels. Ik vroeg hem om de tafel af te vegen met een doek. De doek stonk zo erg dat ik er misselijk van werd. eten en koffie is erg lekker, maar er moet worden schoongemaakt.

Mooie locatie, maar geen goed management waardoor ieder jonkie z'n eigen bestelling opneemt, maakt én naar tafel bezorgt. Iedereen krijgt bezorgnummer en die wordt alsof je op een veiling staat omgeroepen.
