Jelle snacks - ijssalon in Spaarndammer- en Zeeheldenbuurt

Food has deteriorated considerably, fries which were very unusual and that people came for have been changed back to normal tasteless fries. See photo! And you have to hope that the person is not there when you come to order. Because you get half a portion of fries which is completely unacceptable. Too bad because it's always different. It is now April 16, 2025 and the person serving now is unfortunately very stingy with the fries. I always check to see if the owner is there and if not I move on.

Really kind owner, he loves his job and has passion. Everyone is more then welcome here.

Fries are fine as are the standard snacks but the burger is totally inedible. Meat is likely not meat, a pile of shredded carrots in a pool of mayo sause and the "cheese" is not cheese by American standards, let alone dutch.

Ill-mannered staff. The phone was not answered. Upon arrival there was still a sigh even when the order was called. Still shouted: DOOR CLOSE We came there for years. Not anymore from today. Retarded tent!

Cold food, sandwich is half sauced, and milkshake tastes like liquid soft ice cream. I'm disappointed but maybe I'll give you another chance.

Nice employee, order was ready quickly. The downside is that there is far too little meat in the hair salon, which is a shame considering it costs €8.50. Next time I will order something without meat to avoid disappointment.

My go-to snackbar in the neighbourhood. The service and food is and has always been great. They pricing is also good for the area.

Delicious food, just like in all the years I've lived there. For me it is a familiar place. The owner is friendly and helped us quickly. I had a fries war and a special frikandel there and both tasted very good: highly recommended!

Frikandel special, fries war and milkshake. Fries were nice and crispy, milkshake was nice and smooth but still drinkable. Owner is a nice guy who has been there for 40 years.

Bought a salad, there was so much mayonnaise, probably fries sauce on a nice thick layer and very little salad, shame, put more Russian salad in the bowl and less mayo (fries sauce) then it's fine

Me and my friend came from Finland and i can honestly say.. we loved this place!! The food was extraordinary, budget friendly and customer service was fast and very friendly! I was so happy to eat here :)) food looked and tasted very good!

Niet voor niks al 75 jaar goedlopende snackbar..Alles top .Probeer eens hun zelf gemaakte reuze bami of nasibal..Pinnen zou wel fijn zijn..

Altijd goede snacks, en zelfgemaakte patat!! (Alleen de knoflooksaus was vroeger lekkerder!!!) en de huzarensalade was vroeger beter... (Veel minder mayonaise!!!) Nog steeds de beste snackbar in de buurt!!

To be honest: I was walking endlessly through Amsterdam trying to find a place to have a burger and when I walked in to this place it changed. Not only was the service great but the locals helped me out what to pick and I didn't feel like a tourists. I felt more like someone who was moving into the area

De lekkerste hamburger van de stad en heerlijke friet/patat

Handgemaakte kroketten, bamibal, hamburgers etc. Natuurlijk ook de frikandellen etc verkrijgbaar. Goede patat. Al 100 jaar een begrip (huidige eigenaren zijn van dezelfde familie die er al 50 jaar zitten). Van Brandweer, Ambulance, Politie etc haalt het personeel hier ook zijn snacks...

Ik ken deze snackbar al heel lang, ca 40 jaar zaak is vernieuwd met een nieuwe eigenaar. De service is nog net zo vriendelijk en goed en het eten is super. Vooral de patat mag in de eregalerij.

Dit is een goed adresje in de Spaarndammerbuurt!! Een van de beste patatjes die ik in de stad heb gegeten! Goed gebakken, krokant en goede smaak van de aardappel! Veel dingen maken ze hier nog helemaal zelf, zo ook dus de friet! Hele aardige eigenaar die de zaak al tientallen jaren runt! Stop hier voor een snackje of frietje!

Een vriendelijke en snelle verzorging en daarbij was het bestelde zeer smakelijk.
