Jules coffee & concept in Oude Stad

The matcha was excellent—smooth, rich, and very enjoyable. I chose to sit outside, where I could enjoy a beautiful view of the city, which made the experience even more relaxing. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. Overall, it was a wonderful place to enjoy a great matcha, and I would definitely come back again.

Tasty latte. Unfortunately, it was also lukewarm, which doesn't improve the taste. At home, I noticed that I had apparently entered the maximum tip when paying by card. That made it an extra pricey drink.

Super nice little place, good and tasty coffee and delicious pastries! Unfortunately, it is a bit on the pricey side. For 1 coffee + snack, you'll easily spend almost €10 p.p.

Nice place with delicious coffee. The cupcake was a bit on the dry side for my taste. The staff was fine, although the service could have been a bit warmer/friendlier towards customers. It was also very warm inside during our visit, which was less comfortable. Additionally, the toilet was clean, but there was no soap. Prices are slightly higher, but that is understandable given the concept and location.

This place has an amazing vibe. We were greeted right when we walked in. The music was chill, pastries were fantastic, and the drinks were tasty. We highly recommend this spot.

A nice little cafe in haarlem, the interior is so well designed and it’s laptop friendly!! The staff is also supeeer warmm and they have wifi! They have plenty of seats inside and some outsideee! The match is not the best and the egg cheese sandwich is also not the best (although it’s also not bad, still goood) but overall would come here again for the vibes (and try their coffee too!)

Good coffee and pastry. Breakfast plate is too expensive for what is offered and it completely throws the baristas off-beat - takes good 10-15 min of barista time to prepare this plate. Team is very friendly!

I visited on a cold day, and the space was warm and cozy. The latte art was perfect, and the taste was delicious. The breads and pastries on display were so beautiful that I couldn't resist ordering. The owner was also very friendly and helpful when I ordered. The view from the window was also charming, making it a place I wanted to stay forever!

I’ve been visiting Jules for a few years and it’s become one of my favorite in Haarlem. Beautiful design, very genuine baristas, laptop and dog friendly, great coffee. It checks all my boxes! Plus a great location for people watching.

Coffee was good. Pastry was better. Bakery was closed, but we survived. Location is by the canal, so you can watch boats and bridges do their thing. Friendly barista even risked life and limb on the bike lane to take our photo. My mother, concluding her first Haarlem trip, said: "You should move to this city so when I visit you we can come here." I think that’s a strong endorsement. Will definitely return.

A gem! Welcoming people. Nice location with inside and outside sitting. Coffees are awesome. Same for "lekkers er bij", i.e. cakes, croissants and the likes. Highly recommended!

Its a cosy little cafe that makes you feel warm and hugged when you enter, especially on a grey cold winter day. The warm aroma of the coffee hugs you and makes you forget your troubles for a moment. Would visit again.

If you’re into coffee even a little, they have different coffee beans you can choose from when you order. Last time, I got my pastel de nata from a loja and my coffee from Jules, then sat right across the street from jules , by the canal and enjoyed them

The matcha was super delicious! The carrot cake and brownie are also delicious! The granola is delicious, but the zucchini jam was too sweet for me. Otherwise, a very aesthetically pleasing café.

We stopped for breakfast and were very satisfied! The food was delicious and very fresh, as were the drinks. The place is lovely and the staff were very kind and helpful. Highly recommended for breakfast or coffee; the matcha in particular was delicious!

I didn't really like the service, it was very slow and not very clear... The pistachio muffin and brownie were pretty good, but they were too sweet for me... Maybe brownie was better 😇 The matcha on almond milk was really good 👍🏻

Friendly and next to the canal!

There is no clear complete menu where to see the prices in advance. The coffee is good but the overall offer is really limited and expensive, I paid 7 euro for a (good) coffee and a (too buttery and simple) croissant. Good for the Monday early morning when almost nobody else is open. Really sterile and cold atmosphere and average design (like 1 of millions of ikea bed), lack of cozynes and uniqueness.

Pretty tasty coffee with just the right strength. Cappuccino to go made with care {1st time without visually decorated foam, (just poured)} and tasty. Thoughtfully decorated interior in muted colors allowing you to focus on work. Nice place to work.

Great coffee and matcha latte ! The reason for the 1 less star is because the togo cup doesnt match the lid and when i was trying to take a sip it already spilled on me ><. And giving a plastic cup with a paper straw is a bit sus 😋. Ill come back and bring my own cup next time ❤️

They kept us waiting a lot without even saying Hi back. Went 3 times to order only to be said “sorry I am doing the dishes right now”. Seems the priority is not the customer here. Thanks but I am not coming here again.

Jules is without a doubt the best place for coffee and pastries in Haarlem! I've been coming here 1-2 times a week for the past two years, and I've never been disappointed. The coffee is always perfectly brewed, full of flavor and just the way I like it. And I haven't even mentioned the pastries yet... every bite is a little slice of heaven. The atmosphere is always cozy, the service friendly and attentive, and you really feel welcome here!

Had a coffee with Jules for the first time. The coffee was tasty, but quite pricey and relatively small. We did get a glass of water + points. Upon entering we were not greeted and were not helped for the first 5 minutes. Subsequently, it was not clear to us how the concept works and this was not explained. Being able to sit comfortably, but on a very rickety bench.

Good coffee. Nice that you get a glass of water with it. Cozy inside and out, you sit in a beautiful spot with a view over the Spaarne.

The limited and pricey offering will undoubtedly be of high quality and tasty. But there is no atmosphere and you are not allowed to pay in cash here. Then you're done

Nice place to work and get a nice coffee (to go). This is where I get my favorite cappuccino in Haarlem. With luck you will sit outside on nice days and have a nice view of the boats passing by.

Today the coffee was too lukewarm, but after requesting a better preheated cup, I was able to enjoy a top-class coffee. Atmosphere gets 1 star deduction because it was very fresh.

Decaf flat white was very good. The place looks nice and clean. The cinnamon bun was waaay to dry and compact. Not sure if it was an accident on Sunday or if they’re always like that?

Espresso is delicious - great coffee beans and a Mazarrozi machine. Cinnamon buns to die for.

I loved the minimalist design of this place. Despite it is small, it gives the place a spacious feeling. It’s clean and tidy. The staff is super friendly and likes to take it’s time for you. My matcha latte was made with care and beautifully served.

The best place to drink speciality coffee in Haarlem! They served beans from DAK and AMOC when we were there. We've tried batch brew and espresso and both of them were delicious. Highly recommended!

Ein kleines, aber sehr, sehr feines und mega stylisches Café. Ohne zu übertreiben sage ich, dass der Kaffee, den ich hier getrunken habe, zu den Top 3 gehört, die ich je getrunken habe. Der Kuchen war auch sehr lecker. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Lieber und zuvorkommender Service. Zu 100% zu empfehlen!
